: After watching this music video, I have one thing to say about Akali
I like the idea of a chroma for her UV light outfit. However, I feel like it could be achieved by adding it to Evelynn's passive, and Akali's shroud. When Evelynn's passive kicks in, she can see Akali's UV, or when Akali walks into her shroud, she can see her own UV, and so can her allies.
: Warwick's roars and theme
Pressing W should let you hear part-mechanical, part-"organic". Everything else about his kit is not mechanical, hence why you won't hear it as often as you do in his cinematic.

They had human ancestors yes, but the Vastaya themselves have always been the hybrid children of ancient humans and the magical shapeshifters of the lands. According the lore, anyway. This tends to get kind of murky when you talk about Nami and the Marai (why did humans copulate with merfolk to make merfolk Vastaya? Why are we required to understand that everywhere Vastaya are, there was a human, in a long age ago, who copulated with a mystical shapeshifter to spark a tribe of beings? It gets weird, and starts to lose logical sense once you think about it). > > Anyway, the Vastaya are no more human than gorillas are. We have the same ancestors, millennia ago, and we all share very similar DNA, but they are distinctly their own species due to how they grew and evolved differently from proto-humans. Vastaya are similar in this sense, though the general scope and speed of evolution in regards to them is a little magically sped up. They're very much a different species from humans, enough to not connect themselves to the humans, and as such, they do not consider them kin. "The vastaya are chimeric creatures of Runeterra whose lineage contains both human blood and the spiritual magic of a pre-human race". From the official League of Legends Universe page about the Vastaya, it says that Vastayans contain human blood, through lineage. What my pea-brain got from it is that essentially, humans were part of the sole reason Vastayans were made in the first place. Yes, they aren't 100% human (I should have specified that to begin with, oops), but humans had a big role in their creation and eventual species. > [{quoted}](name=Warlord Dienekes,realm=NA,application-id=6kFXY1kR,discussion-id=WcEuo9XE,comment-id=0006,timestamp=2018-09-27T16:05:17.378+0000) > > If humanity evolved in Africa why do some people hate black people? > [{quoted}](name=Zapzya,realm=OCE,application-id=6kFXY1kR,discussion-id=WcEuo9XE,comment-id=0005,timestamp=2018-09-27T14:53:25.430+0000) > > Humans already hate other humans for being born the wrong nationality, even if they share common ancestors. Kind of similar to that. You do raise good points, but the Vastaya are a species so to say, not a race. With race, at least in real life, more people associate it biologically with our ethnicity, because we are all the same species (human). But Vastaya seem to be a mix, or a hybrid of the sort, therefore making them their own species. Within that species, you will get sub-species. Nami's sub-species lives underwater, Rakan and Xayah's have bird-like characteristics, and Rengar and Ahri take on the form of mammals (despite the fact that Ahri can shapeshift (Ahri is otherworldly)).

: What's the monkey amulet that Akali carries from the roadmap teaser and the unfinished animation?
Her lore isn't 100% complete, but since Akali is from Ionia, maybe it has something to do with Wukong and his tribe? In the distance we see burning buildings and such, maybe it was Wukongs home or someplace similar. Or maybe, it was a gift from him which got destroyed after a fight. I only bring this up because the colour of the Amulet is very jade-ish looking, which could resemble the Jade Dragon skin.

Being a nazi, being racist, being sexist or homophobic or transphobic or xenophobic is. You can decide if you want to be cruel to other human beings. You can decide whether you want to eat other human beings. You can decide to kill, slaughter, crush, murder. Anything that you physically do, is your choice. This thread was about the lack of LGBT characters in the game. Not anything that you mentioned afterwards. Please, refrain from commenting this stuff again. It gives us all a headache.
: > **I understand I'll probably get downvoted to hell, or maybe called ignorant**, but with so many opportunities to show different communitie**s, I don't understand what's really stopping champion creators / writers from creating more diverse champs**. Sadly I think it's the first half of this sentence that clarifies the second. Zenon mentioned that part of the reason the Taliyah lore didn't go through was for fear of backlash. When the new Varus stuff came out, there were a lot of people with very valid complaints (about his lore, not about homosexuality in general, of course), but there were also a lot of viscerally homophobic remarks. People STILL think it's high-larious to photoshop a KFC bucket into Lucian's hands or whatever. Sadly, I can see why he was worried. Even this thread. As you mentioned down the page, most people who have actually commented here are supportive, and yet I saw it sitting at a -2. Some people just see the topic of "LGBT champs" and instantly smash a downvote. But these discussions ARE important. They are a way of showing Riot that we do care, that there are substantial voices that want LGBT+ representation, or maybe even more importantly, letting LGBT+ League fans know that they aren't alone.

She got a comic, and a few voicelines ingame to show her struggles being away from home without her partner. A LOT of uproar made its way onto the forums, and it made people upset. But that didn't put the game top a sudden halt. People didn't stop playing it because Tracer was gay. They moved on. People make all these things up and say that the company wont benefit from it, but unless the company tries, how will they ever know. People essentially said "Oh cool, Tracer is a Lesbian. I like that." Overwatch, to this day, is still an incredibly popular game. It's encouraged many popular streamers to come out in their own way. It's given other players a chance to relate to Tracer. Characters aren't made by stone-cold people. They're made by people who want to inspire, who want to relate. That is what character development is all about. Even with inherently evil characters, there's still going to be a trait that someone, somewhere, will love about them. The thing about fictional character is that they're NOT REAL! Why would you get so angry and upset over representation of a community with a character that has no impact on your real life? And, to answer your question about whether it's worth it: Yes, it is! Creating an LGBT+ based character actually isn't hard. There are a LOT of resources these days from LGBT folks that help you write, create, and imagine said concepts to a realistic standard. You must remember LGBT+ people aren't anything else other than human. We are all human. We are all written the same way, we just have different personalities, quirks, traits and other things that make us unique, like sexuality or gender. It's not hard at all. People just don't want to try.

: LGBT+ Champs
For all the dislikes on thread, you guys seem to be throwing in a lot of positivity, and I appreciate it a lot. If anyone read the source where Taliyah was supposed to be trans, you'll notice a comment underneath it saying that the creators were initially scared. They're scared of receiving bad backlash, because they don't want people to hate the characters they put so much thought, love and time into. The amount of downvotes in such a small amount of time is exactly why the LGBT community isn't really "present" within the game, just because people don't like it. Whilst you could say "make your own characters", will we ever see our own characters in game? Probably not, unless we were a part of the Riot creatives team. For ages I've dreamed of making a character that could not only represent me, but represent everyone within that community. I want to see people enjoying that character, playing them, making theories and drawing art for them. And it hurts when this kind of attitude is taken that "Oh you only want LGBT characters because you're a "special snowflake".", or something just as rude. Representation within large-scale games is hard to come by these days. But to know that characters did actually have a chance to be a part of a bigger community, only to be scrapped because their creators were physically too scared to share that side of the creation.. it really makes me feel sad for the future, you get what I mean?

: @RIOT In Regards to Highnoon Lucians Login...
I'm no Rioter but I'm 90% sure that the login themes are created with Aftereffects, which allows different aspects of the picture to be moved. However, it's very finicky sometimes, and depending on how the picture was placed, perspective wise and also thinking about other factors, only certain bits of the picture can be moved. For instance, I notice that Lucian's head is only moving towards his left - that's because the base art portrayed him looking 3/4ths and at the viewer. You can only move what you already have. This may add a little stiffness to other parts of the login itself, but in reality it's quite hard to make something look that smooth with already so much being moved in the first place.

It's gotta be Aurelion for me. He's not my favourite champion but damn he's got some interesting lore and backstory. A universally aged dragon with the power to create new worlds and crush others as he pleases, only to be bribed and chained by Targon for his strength to be used against others. He wants to crush Targon so badly, but that comes at the cost of destroying the rest of Runeterra as well, something which he doesn't want to risk. His voicelines offer so much insight to how he really sees everyone, and whilst some lines do have some disgustingly dark and brutal backbone to them, Sol can joke about things too. The thing I love most about him is that, if I could imagine myself being within the same vicinity as him, he could either choose to murder you or joke with you. You just don't know what's going to happen until it happens. Space dragon. Love him. {{champion:136}}

If you look at all the concept art for the Void, you'll see it surrounded by.. not too many mountains actually. It would be impossible to remove every single mountain, unless he threw even more stars at them. It's probably not true but that's just how I like to theorise about it. Wasnt the void opened up by the icathians?

No I mean, way before Icathians found it. I'm talking about mountains covering up the void entrance, before it got uncovered by something big (like a star).

: What part of the map did Aurelion Sol chuck at star at?

YEAH THAT ONE! It suits Ekko perfectly. Maybe we'll get something like it, maybe we wont. I just hope Riot doesn't mess up {{sticker:sg-lulu}}
: For Ekko a baseball skin would make way more sense than a football one, mostly cause he already uses his weapon and abilities like a baseballer.

If you think you've got ADHD, I really advise you seek professional help for it to diagnose you properly! Taking online tests and reading up symptoms that you think you might have don't guarantee that you've got something.
