: Why do you find this normal at 50 minutes, or any minute? When is this normal to clearly hold the lead for 49 minutes and lose at JUST ONE bad teamfight?_ (i'm NOT referring to hold the lead for 49 minutes and then slowly losing the game in 2-3 teamfights)_
It's no different than holding the lead in a race for 299 laps, and losing because someone passed you on the last lap. Part of winning is knowing how to close out a game that far ahead. It's not a "Lucky teamfight", the game isn't based on luck.

I honestly tricked the system for this one on my alternate account. Went into a URF, got to level 10 or so - Went to the dragon, got it near dead, let it reset, repeated twice - Mission done. Did the same thing for part of the "Deal 1.25m damage" one too. Was rushing through them all in one night, and I was too tired to finish them properly. Also bought/sold items for the "Spend ___k Gold" one. Sped it up a little bit at least. Though, I did all of this in URF - Where I wasn't ruining anyone's fun by derping around doing this, the enemy team even knew what I was doing with the dragon and left me alone.
Rioter Comments
: I've played 50 URF games now this year....precisely 46 of them with an AFK
I've played 200+ across my accounts. In those I've seen 2? AFK people. 3 if you count myself in a match where my client kept crashing.
: Not receiving chests anymore?
You can stack up to 4 available, but you only get 1 per week. So if you had 0 before the season reset, you'd still be at 0+1 for the new week.
: arurf is the most toxic gamemode
I don't see a reason to be toxic in ARURF(Or any other match, personally). If you look at my match history, I've been spamming ARURF hard to finish the missions. I've had an absolute blast doing it, and I've almost never "Focused" on winning. I literally pick a goal and aim for it. A goal like... Let's see how fast I can get Lulu and how far the enemy will chase me around the map.(Spoiler - They don't chase very far when you've got 1200 Movespeed and basically teleport past them.) If you don't look at URF as something that needs a focus on winning, it becomes so much more fun. It allows for the most ridiculous things. Even if I'm losing, the enemy team could be at our doors in a 65-10 kill game, and I can have a blast by firing myself out past them and zipping past with 1200 move speed for them to chase me away. You can build the most ridiculous things, for no reason other than "This one effect on this one spell will be stronger". Or Deaths Dance/Gunblade Cassiopeia. Or melee range Ezreal!(The closer you are to your target the faster his Q resets, since the CD reset is on his. You can get it going super obnoxiously fast in melee range). Win or lose, if you're zooming around at 1200 MS out running an ulting ghostbladed Yi as Lulu, it's fun. There's tons of other similar things that can be done - Focus on enjoying the games, not winning them. Side Note: I've won more than I've lost, and gotten a ton of honors along the way by just having fun.
: Size of summoners rift?
There's a loading screen that says "It takes ____ to flash from fountain" (I think it says 3 hours, 20 minutes), or something along those lines. Could use that+Flash distance to get a good measurement.

: The canon on Urf shouldn’t indicate where your landing
Just use it to get NEAR where you want to be. Don't jump straight into the danger zone. Teleport shows you land too - That's why you use it to get to a spot that ISN'T instant death. Use the cannon the same way.

: Riot no one will ever buy your champions for RP.
Looking at it as no single champ costs over $10... Tons of people buy them. If I can make $17 an hour at work it makes zero sense to grind for more than 30 minutes to purchase a champion. My time is worth more than that, so it's FAR more economical to just buy the champions with RP. That said, I buy mine with IP because I don't mind the grind - But plenty of people out there only have time for a few games a week. They would much rather buy their champions for RP and actually get to play them in a timely manner. Also, the day I started years I bought the "Starter pack" of champions just to have some to play around with. I also have bought it on one of my alternate accounts to have enough champions for ranked without spending all of my IP on them(Back when you needed your IP for runes). I'm sure lots of others have done and continue to do similar things :)

I've been placed there a couple times after bad placements and always managed to VERY easily climb my way right back out of it - This coming from someone who ended last season as low gold, and every other season as mid silver. Maybe it's role dependent or there's something I lack, but as a support and adc main, I find it difficult to climb out of bronze. I'm not saying that every game is like this, but losing one game basically forces you to win 2 games to even go past your original LP. As a bot lane main, too often have I seen my support/adc go in on a risky play that likely gets them killed due to lack of vision of enemy jungler or they run into a huge wave of minions and then blames me for not "following up" and dying with them. Then I try to tell to just let me farm or to stay back and ward up but by then their egos get the better of them and they just go mid or start griefing.
Honestly, that's a big part of why I refuse to play both bottom lane roles when I can avoid it. Having to depend on another player that I'm not accustomed to makes things infinitely harder IMO. Possibly try practicing a few champs that can hard carry on their own from other roles, if you're having trouble in bottom lane. Plenty of people manage to climb out from every role, but I'd imagine some roles are certainly easier than others. Personally I prefer Mid/toplane, because I can do my own thing and focus on my own win condition, rather than having to rely on a teammate(In bottom lane) or my laners(In the jungle).

No need to cater to smurfs. If you're really that good, you'll climb quickly anyway. Wrong. The game dynamic has changed. No matter how good you are, you cannot carry a game alone if you're entire team feeds/can't cs.
This isn't even close to true below Diamond rank or so. Diamond+ I can't really say, the enemy team is usually not totally useless there. I'm nothing special and I very often manage to carry games where my entire team feeds/doesn't CS/flames each other the whole game. Maybe look into some champions that you can get ahead and hard carry with if you're having troubles. Side note - I often play with Diamond+ friends. They'll literally hard carry a game on a champ they've never played before in a role they don't main, when we're against Gold/Plat players and most of our team fails hard. Carrying is very much possible, you just have to know what to do and when.
sunamcm (NA)
: And also, I agree with you when you said new accounts should be treated as new people, but not everyone who is new deserves to be bronze or lower right? What if a player is just naturally gifted at the game but after reaching 30 and winning all their provisionals, they still get placed bronze? I was bronze in my first season and, as I'm sure you know, it's living hell to climb out of, even for better players. It's not always easy to 1v5 carry and many times, teammates feeding and not knowing how to ward/play under tower will cost too much of the game.
Honestly, Bronze is in no way hard to climb out of. If you're not meant to be there it's a cake walk to climb right back out. I've been placed there a couple times after bad placements and always managed to VERY easily climb my way right back out of it - This coming from someone who ended last season as low gold, and every other season as mid silver.
: The difference is that the champions I pointed out were staples of league at one point. So people think they are still fine.
I'm not sure Diana was ever a "Staple" of league. She's also slated for the next double update. Kayle(Big changes)/Morgana(Small changes) coming up, and Diana(Big changes)/Leona(Small changes) are often mentioned as the next "Double" after them. It'll still be a year or more, but eventually she'll get changes. Yi still IS Fine, as are many of the others there. They all have strengths they can exploit, and weaknesses their opponent can exploit. Kind of a goofy list.

How is that okay lol? Diana is quite onesided and doesnt function in teamfights unlike ryze.
See, the key factor here is that if she doesn't kill you at level 6-8, and you rush that RoA/Merc Treads/Have Barrier, she's never going to. She'll dive in, get you to 30-40% health, and have nothing left to do as you take two steps back and proceed to combo her with your entire kit repeatedly as she limps away toward her tower. Take my word for it, the most annoying thing I can face is someone who keeps my farm low pre 6, plays safe so I can't burst them at 6, rushes RoA/Mercs. They straight invalidate me as long as they don't step into my range at 6-8 before they've bought enough items to survive the burst. It's just how it goes against Diana.
Ryzê (NA)
: I bought Abyssal Mask and shield combo'd properly (Ryze) but Diana still one shot me
As Diana, a good Ryze is scary. I can't burst him in one rotation, and he can rock me once I'm in there with him still alive. The trick is Ryze needs to abuse me pre-6, and respect my 6. At 6-7 I can 1-shot him, and if I do it's over for him. If not, and he rushes RoA, it's over for me. In my experience as a diana 1-trick. Side note - Barrier into Diana.
: Just logged in for the first time in 4 years....my mind is BLOWN
Other than going to the wiki and wandering through each champion's page(There's been a lot of changes/new champions in the last 4 years), the best way to get used to it again is really just to jump back in. Run some bots games if you don't want to upset teammates - Regular games if you don't mind the flame. The best way to catch back up is really just to play. Maybe even start a new account and level it up until you feel confident again - That way you're not facing higher level players who know exactly what's going on. You'll still face some, of course - People like to duo with new player friends, but it'll be less than if you jumped in on a higher level account.

In my experience repairing computers, this has always been a driver problem. Have you recently installed any new hardware? Peripherals? Plugged a new phone into your PC? Uninstalling any drivers that you recently updated, and getting them clean - SHOULD fix the problem. If it happens when League tries to open a match it could be a display driver, but it's more likely to be something obscure like a Keyboard, a phone, a USB storage device, etc - Something that you (Possibly automatically) installed a driver for when you connected it.

: how is it better long term: 1. We went from 100% crit rate to 75%, We are now back to RNG fights of "hope I crit more than them" 2. Damage for them went down at 3 items (see math above); and will be down at full build since we need 4 items to get 100% crit and have to give up either life steal or armor pen. 3. How will these changes help kill tanks? You can go 4 items to get 100% crit, boots and armor pen, now I have no life steal; or go 3 items get 75% crit, armor pen, boots, and life steal and still deal less damage from the current since we lost 25% crit chance even with the multiplier. Also gold didn't change so all of the spikes will happen at the same time of in game time.
Losing damage is exactly what the boards have been begging for(For the last year at least. Before that it was "STOP NERFING STONG CHAMPS! BUFF WEAK ONES UP TO THEM!"). It might not be ideal, but it IS what players have been asking for. Starts with one set of items, maybe it'll make it's way on over to the other characters throughout the season - Who knows really.

Losing the R>Q combo that was at best only somewhat reliable, is a small price to pay. Actuallyyyyyyyyyy The RQR combo was extremely reliable, a challenger Diana main made a post about it. But I don't know if you need something like 40 ping for it to be all that reliable or if it is just practice
I've read his post, and while I admire his Diana skills - He's one of a handful of players out there that can make it work. I've mained Diana for several seasons, with thousands of games on her. I play on a 26ms ping. I'm not claiming I'm the best Diana in the world, but I still only manage to pull the combo off rarely. More often than not it's suicide to try to do it, because it only works at ABSOLUTE max range of her R - the littlest movement from the enemy or yourself and it's almost certainly not going to work. Challenger players have the skills to pull it off, as well as plenty of other things the average player can't just in general. The Diana mains reddit has long agreed that it's "Possible" but extremely unreliable in regular game scenarios for 99.9% of Diana players. Great on that guy for making it work(And others like Arcsecond), and I'm sorry to see their playstyle being hindered with it - I'm sure it helped them massively, as it's a ridiculously useful combo if you manage to pull it off. That doesn't mean it's more valuable than fixing her Q bugs though, which cause problems for EVERY Diana player with enough time played.

Actualyyyyyy Diana mains have been begging for bugfixes to her Q and E since last preseason. Her Q often doesn't register that it hit(Which this change is addressing), and thereby doesn't reset her R. As well as various other small bugs with it that are brought up occasionally. The E periodically pushes enemies away/sideways, rather than pulling them in. Probably 1/25 uses of E on enemy champions. I can't say for sure if the current changes are the right direction, but if it makes her Q more reliable I'm down for it. I'm with you. It gives a chance to try a variety of champions without feeling almost pigeon holed into choosing the "Best" picks. : A small modification needed on Diana
Honestly, I'm okay with the way it currently is - Any real power shift for Diana(such as this) is particularly dangerous. She's right on the edge of being just plain nonsense to deal with, or useless. She's kept in check purely based on the fact that she can be kept down the entire game if she's put behind early, and her range isn't that far(You can stay out of her reach - This change negates that more often). Coming into her range is suicide for a lot of champions, and I'll often use Cannons/melee minions(Your Q isn't 1-shotting Melee minions without a Ludens Proc and ridiculous amounts of AP) to close that gap and get on a squishy. Allowing me to do the same plays with Mage minions that I'm 1-shotting would just be over bearing for a lot of matchups against her. This coming from a dedicated Diana Main/1-trick. There's way better Diana players out there than me, they'd abuse it way harder than I ever could - Yet I'd be over bearing with this change.. Edit: Side Note - If your build allows you to R a minion without killing it with JUST the R damage, you can actually Q+R a minion, and land before your Q does - Causing your R to reset when it DOES hit the target(That you already smacked into.) - This can be dangerous though, as your R killing the target will cause you to not get the reset. As long as you're not building Ludens(Or Runic Echo), and you don't hit your W in midair, it should be possible to do in a lot of situations. Just have to be careful to not instantly AA the minion when your R lands, before your Q lands. I make this play quite often, where I'll Q+R a minion and be 1-2 steps past the minion(Having already landed and kept running) before my Q hits to reset my R. Won't work real late game when you 1-Shot them either way, or if you've built a Ludens... But at level 6-10 you can quite easily pull this off(As long as you're not mega fed with a ton of AP already.)

Veigar gets enough AP as it is with his passive already. The other 3 would rather have items that are effective immediately, and even if they did want it only Zoe has the cooldowns to stack it herself. Leblanc and lux can't just be blowing their CC/mobility on cooldown because they need those spells to be ready at all times for when they see an opening to pick someone off the map. Since they can't stack it themselves they need teammates to help them, problem with that. Leblanc and other assassins rather be on the side lanes after laning phase is over looking to kill whoever comes or draw attention. Only one assassin that might like it is eve because 1. her Q stacks it quickly and 2. she is a jungler, she can get away with blowing cooldowns because she will not be punished for it outside of being invaded.
It's a pretty core item on Diana for tons of people. Ekko uses it to some great success as well, depending on what other items he needs that game. Plenty of champions can put it to very good use, they simply choose not to because other items can situationally be better, or they're used to not building it. I usually build it if I start a Deathcap then fall behind/get shut down, due to it's lower end cost - Finish the deathcap if I keep rolling hard, turn towards spellbinder if I don't.
: Diana, is close to a core item for the (unsafe) snowballing build. Some ap junglers take it as a snowball pick too, up to 200 ap hurts. stacking is not all that bad, when grouped it goes up really fast
This right here. I build it on Diana fairly often, as well as see it built on various other champions that want the movement speed and burst. Diana in particular though.

: Merge accounts?
As far as I'm aware, there's no way to do so. If they DID add it, I'd imagine it'd be a paid service, meaning Baron Von Veigar would probably be cheaper to just re-buy. As for a guide on how to get it - It's a Legacy skin, meaning it's only available once in awhile. You can hope to get lucky on Skin Shards from Hextech Chests and get it from there, or from rerolling said shards, or you can wait for the next time they release it for sale - Which could be tomorrow, could be next year. If I remember correctly they usually make most legacy skins available around once per year, so keeping your eyes open for a legacy sale might result in you getting him. On the upside, it's a cheap skin when it DOES come up for sale - You won't have to spend very much to unlock it. Didn't realize anyone much liked that skin. I have it and refuse to use it because I've just always found it to be really plain and boring - Glad to hear someone out there really enjoys it enough to crave it though! Hope you manage to get lucky and get it in a sale or shard <3

: how the hell are you supposed to fight zed?
I actually had fun as Sivir against him yesterday. He tried to ult me 6 times, I used my E to block it 6 times. I still played horribly, since I'm a terrible ADC, but it was fun nullifying the Zed ults. I'd imagine Nocturne could do the same thing with his spell shield.
: Silas's ult will stop time and allow him to redirect other player's ults

This is why I muted pings back in season2. You want me to back up even though I was clearly on my way out of the area. Fuck it we are initiating. Whenever I hear the pinging noise through a friends microphone I fucking tilt hard. Btw made it to diamond with muted pings... so no it’s not some sort of bannable ignores teammates type deal. I actually started winning more too. Edit: thanks for the downvotes in a confession thread.

I actually started winning more too. Agreed, that's terrible as well. If I'm in the middle of trying to survive getting caught out, or trying to dodge skillshots from 3 enemies at once, those pings just make it infinitely harder. I'm colorblind to begin with, adding all the extra crap suddenly appearing on top of me when I'm trying to watch the enemy skills and land mine? Obnoxious.

The angrier they get, the less likely I am to do what they want, even if they're making the right call. Toxicity loses games, don't be an ass sitting there trying to tilt your own team. In other words you are trolling and it's not toxicity that loses the game but your choices.

No, in other words - If you're going to do your best to tilt your teammates, don't be surprised if they get tilted and make bad calls. If you're playing terrible and losing your lane, so you come to my lane and steal all my CS and start talking shit when I leave to go get CS elsewhere, you can pretty much expect me to never come back near you. I'm not here to listen to someone throw a fit, I'm here to enjoy the game. If you're spending your time typing and raging rather than playing, I'm not going to play around you. You're a liability standing there typing your toxic messages, and I've tried relying on those players enough to know that it's a terrible idea.
: I made a horrifying discovery today
I'm pretty sure years ago some friends and I all surrendered in a bot game that we were in and had just been derping around farming in. Our 5th had just logged on and wanted to play, so we surrendered it rather than spend the 2 minutes to go stomp the last few towers/nexus. Also had one a few years back where everyone was crashing/disconnecting, and we were left with only two of us who both just left rather than grinding out the 2v. Servers were taken down for an emergency maint shortly after, I doubt we'd have had time to finish it anyway.
