Furthermore, Ryze is typically relegated to only hitting tanks due to his range constraints. He usually doesn't have an easy time getting access to backlines on his own, and his kit doesn't provide any real tank shred, just base damages. The whole "Machine-gun Fantasy" doesn't feel as reliable as say Azir dealing with frontlines, kiting included. His damage really isn't that insane. And even then, he has no hard CC when most other mages have more range, front-loading, AND CC as well.

Ryze can make his WHOLE team move with him. His WHOLE Team It mean he can bring a initiator with him behind the ennemy team and totally fuck a carry positionning for example. He can also decide to not do it or to let his tank go alone while he stay in the other side. It is like saying that Annie and Leona should be compared because they both have a stun in their kit... But again, if you can't even understand that point, I don't even see how you can talk about balancing Ryze. Especially when he has many other strength that goes in his kit.

You seem to be missing a huge point here that you're not thinking about. EVERY global champ brings some sort of niche OTHER THAN the fact that they can have global presence. ASol can appear somewhere unexpectedly PRE-6 and also not have a cast time for using the ability, which creates in-combat effectiveness as well for escaping a bad situation. Galio can appear somewhere with ALSO providing a huge AOE knockup radius followed by an AOE taunt chain CC combo if his ult lands, completely decimating a teamfight. Shen can appear somewhere with ALSO providing a huge shield to a priority target being focused out, shutting down the assassination and turning the fight around. Taliyah can appear somewhere with ALSO cutting off terrain, or simply to cut off someone's escape route from afar that doesn't have dashes/flash, ensuring the kill. Tahm kench can appear somewhere with ALSO having an extreme range advantage in comparison to Ryze while still taking someone with him, as well as being a similar interaction with his W where it can quickly save a teammate without delay and make them untargetable, as we've seen in LCS. Twisted Fate can appear somewhere with ALSO providing TRUESIGHT to every enemy on the map, exploiting the positions of crucial stealth champs like Twitch/Eve/Rengar as well as guaranteeing if teleporting in is a good play or not depending on enemy jungle distance from a lane. There is Value that comes WITH their ultimates. They don't "just appear", so Ryze should have a meaningful enough niche on his own that isn't heavily restricted by 1750 range. 1750 is a joke. You have to remember that it's only 3000. All the other champs get more. For crying out loud when he's 6 he has to walk all the way down the river and miss a wave if the play doesn't even work out when other champions can go without that risk.

These are changes worth trying to attempt to improve his soloQ performance. Nothing here is really crazy and out of the ordinary that's being proposed. He is still a MID-RANGE mage with SOFT CC that can't make too many huge plays unless he has flash like Annie, and even then, it's not AOE unless you spend 4 seconds spreading your E in a team fight. People just don't let Ryze walk into you for free. There are countless champions with higher range and stronger CC that zone him out for going in and that is another reason why is win-rate is so low. These changes will not push him over the edge by any means because the champ has VERY clear weaknesses still. Long-Range mages that outrange him, and assassins that kill him before he can get off a rune-charged shield.

There's literally nothing to compensation nerf at this point though. He's already very behind in dueling power against all mages for the first 30 minutes of the game.

He is weak to the average non-LCS player. These changes will hardly affect LCS at all, **and he's actually been underperforming in LCS too as of lately.**

: I think there is no need to buff ryze damage wise. I play him and he seems strong if you know how to play him. I think the only reason he has low winrate is cause people dont know how to properly combo and play with him. Alright bring on all the dislikes.
The Ryze damage buff is an indirect change that correlates with the ultimate only being leveled once now, but remember, this iteration of his Q at level 7 would STILL be weaker than his level 6 Q on release.
: I honestly have some issue about Ryze AD going up because it could actually make him more viable in the toplane as an abuser than anything... I think the AS buff is fair tho, it is a nice idea. His ult being 3000 range is bonkers at lvl 6 XD Just make it scale with level or go with a simple buff like 2000 at lvl 1 (it is actually big without making it TOO big) to help it. I assure you 3000 range ult lvl 6 is bonkers for pro play and would break the poor boy.

MORE CONTEXT on the +3 AD and .5 AS changes If you've played Ryze more than 5 times in laning phase, you would understand why I proposed those AS/AD changes. It's all for just being able to last hit minions better **considering they want to restrain Ryze from being able to autopush lane without interaction with his E**, and also grab mana crystal instead of dorans ring, but now it's gotten to a point where he can hardly even push, let alone use spells in lane without going OOM super quick until Archangels. The AD/AS changes have no way of interacting with other champions considering his kit is completely a spellslinging kit. He will absolutely not be able to bully top laners with these changes. Remember the part where I always imply "assuming equal skill levels" The only people that play melee champions that let ranged champs constantly hit for free are simply inexperienced players. Sorry not sorry. That is just simply not a realistic situation at all. By that logic, Caitlyn/Vayne/Varus would be freelo insane since they start with 70+ ad and .7 AS, but again, they are not. You know why? Because either REAL top laners who play melee champs for a living know how to deal with ranged champs, or the wave will just naturally push in and the ranged champ will be too exposed to ganks, and if the ranged champ falls behind even once in the range/melee matchup, the melee will just walk on top of your minions and deny YOU from last hitting and go in when you try to CS, but yes, 58 ad is going to break Ryze for top lane. It's like people forget that minion aggro exists as well lmao.

: I think these buffs are actually insane and will push Ryze over the top. There are no compensation nerfs, only buffs. Nothing to make his early weaker (in fact, early game got buffed because of E mana cost reduction) in exchange for introducing a smoother power curve and more damage and movespeed late.
There are no compensation nerfs required for him because everything that was already "good" about him has been hit already??? His E>Q damage is lower since release, his W, both naked and empowered lasts less since release, his E CD has been hit, his E spread damage has been hit, and he also can't zhonyas in his ulti anymore. He absolutely is in need of buffs, but in the RIGHT way. Please keep in mind that with the level 7 Q change, it will STILL be weaker than his empowered Q on rework release. And they've already taken so much away from this champ.

I have been saying this too LMAO. I have never bothered making a post about it but it literally makes no sense at all for her to have 340 MS. For crying out loud her MS matches half of the melee roster. If you land a chain, or are kiting a melee, you WILL kite them out. Melee champs are supposed to be faster so they can eventually close the gap. Be that she already wont be caught, the 340 MS is definitely insult to injury.
