Yes, a "shape shifting" champion. Only it's their abilities s/he will acquire. Just as how Kindred chooses which champ on the enemy she marks as her target, this champ will be able to do the same thus taking on all the ability choices they have (QWER) for a period of time. This is just my theory based on all the info and teasers. Oh and I believe it'll be a Bandle City champ (pretty sure for a short period of time - 48hrs - Riot hinted at this on the map/Ezreal's page in the League Universe).

: Should there be an ARAM Ranked section?
Yes. Definitely, yes. I main ARAM. I main for one reason and one reason alone. There's no meta. Not only does ARAM level the playing field, it allows you to bend gameplay to your will. Yes, you still have to have an understanding of the best way(s) to play and build a champ but the pace of the game, restrictions of the map (one lane) and random assignment of champs forces you to make lightening quick decisions and often unconventional builds. No one in their right mind build Rylai's with Ashe on SR...mid game in ARAM...hell's yea! That slow is a game changer with volley. I know, I did it and I REALLY wish I recorded the match to prove it (if I get her when I play this week I'll post the vid). AD LuLu...lethal and hilarious (Yep, played against that and everyone wanted to honor the player. Annihilated our team). My point is, there is a fair amount of skill involved in playing and winning ARAM primarily because the cards are so stacked against you from the get go. But to come back from a "clear" loss against an OP team to take the win is the sweetest feeling especially when your opponents give you mad props for pulling it off. I do agree all champs would need to be unlocked for it to be _balanced_ otherwise yes, about 1/3 of the player base would be at a major disadvantage. Some have criticized this idea because of ELO. If it were possible, I would love nothing more than to be the captain of a team of 4 noobs and humbly destroy 5 Plats. Why Rank it then? In a "world" where Lady Luck has loyalty to no one, ARAM forces you to _be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend._ - _Lee_ Nvr surrender. Nvr give up. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}

: The term "privilege", a discussion
First, thank you for engaging a civil discussion on a very real issue especially in this new era of social science in our society right now. I agree, the perceived "privilege" of an individual (in this case, cis white males) cannot be quantified in the simple statement "...white male privilege" as you have illustrated. I am of the older generation and it gives me great hope to see these "norms" we fought against being so vehemently challenged, questioned and redefined without fear. I grew up when perception greatly influenced reality without resistance. I thank you for your courage and your strength. My only request for all of you...never surrender, never give up.

: It feels like people don't even WANT to win anymore.
Sooo, I know I'm probably gonna get flamed but such is life now in League. Here it goes...I main ARAM and I completely agree with this post. Yes, clearly I know it's not at all the same as SR and that's why I play it. (Have I tried SR? Yes, back in 2012. Have I been back since? No. Too toxic and not worth the stress). I play league to learn how to master a champ and ARAM forces me to think quick, choose items wisely and adapt quickly when I accidentally set the wrong rune page. "Nvr surrender. Nvr give up." is the creed I play by. I understand there are many instances in SR when surrendering is the "humane" thing to do but I have to agree, comebacks are possible. No win is more satisfying.

: "If It Looks Stupid, But Works, It Wasn't Stupid."
I am so glad you posted this! I mainly play ARAM (which I feel is a Kamikaze version of Hyper SR Lte) and often get team mates that main SR. Just 2 days ago I got the question, "How the h*ll does an AP item help Xayah?!?" (I built Rylai's). Well, not at all...except for CC from its slow. We had 2 ADC's and were heading into a loss mid-game. I figured 2 tanks, 2 ADCs and Vieg...f-it, I'm going "supp" ADC. I already had 2 damage/crit items and AS so why not capitalize on setting up kills. Totally worked. Enemy team was confused, didn't know how they were being slowed from so far away and we won :) Been playing League (like I said, mainly ARAM) since 2012 and three years into it I decided, "This is Aram, there is no meta. Do what it takes to win." Don't get me wrong, I personally would NVR go into SR with that belief unless (like others have stated) I fully tested the build in a normal first and no, it doesn't work out 100% of the time (correct runes are key) but boy does it feel good when you pull it off. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
: ~*Taliyah Skin Ideas*~
I voted for one to help boost your post but TBH I wanted to vote for them all. These are all amazing concepts and with the current champs Riot has released every one of these are more than capable of being produced without a a glitch. That being said, unless I missed something (which is extremely possible!) it's unfortunate Riot doesn't have a department solely dedicated to scouting out ideas such as these. Yes, I understand the legal and financial protocols they would have to reconcile but the return on the investment in fan created skins would out weigh that exponentially. (I personally feel it should be marketed as a quarterly event ie. 4 times a year). What better market driver is there than offering players the ability to purchase/own a skin created by an actual LoL fan/summoner and in turn support an emerging artist? Talk about a resume booster. Would this take food out of the mouths of employed Riot artists? No. There are 139 champions in League and at least five of those champions have 10 skins each (Annie, Ryze, TF, Alistar, Ez and MF). Therefore one can assume that a minimum of 1,100 possible skin concepts are waiting to be developed (If Riot maxed each current champ to 10 skins minus their release skin). Collaboration is key.... {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
: Riot, I have an idea for finding intentional feeders
I agree. I mainly play Aram (yea, I know but it's like playing "Kamikaze SR" and imagine the possibilities if they made it Ranked!) and I felt/feel like if not what you suggested having "moderators" who spectate in SR and who actually play in Aram/TT and the RGM.

: PSA: You did not get banned for "defending myself"
Thank you! I feel there are a number of newer players that don't quite grasp this concept well enough and use the "passive aggressive" approach way too often.
: How many of your dodges were caused by "my friend just got on" vs "didn't get what I want in ARAM" though? If Riot modifies how dodges work in ARAM, not giving you a reroll in exchange for 5 minutes of waiting, that would do more to decrease dodges in the mode than anything else.
Those two reasons are equally unacceptable in my point of view and from what I understand, you lose all re-rolls in ARAM if you dodge and this still hasn't deterred ppl. Time is what ppl value. I am not unsympathetic to those whom have a legitimate emergency which would cause them to have to dodge. But as I stated in response to another post, if it's a true emergency, I doubt returning to play a match on League (within 45 minutes) would be the first thing on your mind.
Chermorg (NA)
: I don't think it's "VERY generous". I think it shows an understanding that we're all humans and don't deserve to have 100+ minutes of our time wasted for an emergency once in a blue moon.
Yes, we are all indeed human and unavoidable things come up that are completely out of our control. I mean no disrespect but if it's an emergency, are you really going to go back to playing League in 45 minutes? I mean granted, explosive diarrhea is truly an inescapable emergency that one would recover from without having to call 911 (hopefully) after which a game of LoL would be a nice "thank god that's over" thing to do. But if weighing the pros and cons of "to dodge or not to dodge" because you know you'll get a 45 minute penalty, is the first thing on your mind when said emergency arises.... I mean I get it, League is awesome but not that awesome.
Scuttle (NA)
: I play aram a lot and dodge if I don't get an adc or a mage. Downvote if you want. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
: I'm going to say "no" for one very important dodge that you neglected to mention, one that causes me personally to dodge. * My IRL friend just got on, and I'd like to queue up with him instead of spending the next 45 minutes playing a game without him. The few minutes of delay that either of us cause by dodging once every so often isn't that detrimental to you and is for a good reason.
It's not about the "few minutes of delay...". It's about the fact that those who dodge are only thinking of themselves ("I didn't get the champ I wanted so I'm going to dodge"..."I wanted to play with Starlord and he just logged on so I'm going to dodge..."). Yes, in all maps you queue back up pretty darn quick but just recently, I sat through 5 dodges in a row, each progressively increasing queue times by 35 sec, where by the last dodge I was waiting almost 4 minutes for champ select (it was Aram so we weren't really selecting anything but you get where I'm going). So with all five dodges, total wait time was almost 10 minutes. 10 minutes to start one match because 5 ppl dodged. Yea, a _"...few minutes of delay cause[d] by dodging..."_ that's nothing.
: Where is the dodge penalty 45 minutes already. I only dodge if something comes up, like say my sibling falls down the stairs, or gets hurt in some way. Or if the extended family shows up randomly for a visit. Generally I only play league if I feel that I have 30 minutes at least.
...and that is the difference between you and most ppl who dodge. You play (or at least try to) when you know you have the time to commit to the match. Unfortunately, some of us will suffer due to the selfish neglect of a few. I've had one teammate (in ARAM) who straight up had to leave because his girlfriend almost started a fire in the kitchen. He told us what was going on, we said "GET THE HELL OFF LEAGUE" and believe it or not, he actually came back and finished! Crazy, yea. Honored by both teams (this was during the old honor system), overwhelmingly. lol
Chermorg (NA)
: Both the dodge penalties and the leaver penalties right now relate directly to how much time of someone else's was wasted by the person leaving/dodging. Considering the dodge can happen after about 5 minutes at most, it does not make sense to waste 45 minutes of their time for one dodge on the first occurrence. Keep in mind a leaver penalty, which is for wasting 40-60 minutes of 9 peoples time (total 360-540) starts out at 5 minutes for 5 games - 25 minutes total or about 10% of the time they wasted for first offense. Similarly, the dodge penalty starts out at about 10% or so, being a queue timer during which they can't rejoin queue.
Riot is being VERY generous by scaling it that way rather than making it flat which is where I feel the fault lies. Time wasted is time wasted. As soon as I get/choose a champ (whether its in ARAM or a bot match in SR) I immediately start thinking of the items I'm going to build and how I'm going to play based on the other champs on my team. Why is "wasting 45 min of their (the dodgers) time" more important than those having to put up with the dodge in the first place?
: What about mercy dodges? The other night I was having problems connecting to even the chat for champ select. I told them "I was lagging." "Am going to dodge so you don't have to deal with me." "Good luck next pop!" Granted I normally don't have that problem so probably wouldn't get hit with the penalty, still though.
I understand the "mercy dodge". It's nice of you to alert your team to connection issues that would affect the match. As an ARAM player, most of us are very understanding cause well, most of us in ARAM just wanna have fun and try to break the meta with sick plays. I know in ranked that's probably far from the case but a player lagging has never bothered me. Hell, I've played matches with 3 bots, one with 2 dc's and one with 4 ppl who've never played LoL before. Just makes the win that much more sweet. :)

: Rewards for old Honor are out
Honor System - _Honor is awarded for acts of valor.- Leona_ "Old vs New" "Old": Under the old Honor System the most common complaints were 1. Honor Begging (self explanatory) 2. Honor Bromance (honoring friends/team regardless of true performance) 3. Honor Bribing (handing out skin boosts in hopes of an honor). Although over time (as Riot caught on) these methods quickly became an act of futility, they still sullied the intentions and purposes of honoring your teammate and/or opponent. Enter the dragon... "New": Under the new Honor System (as we all now know) honors are limited to 1. Active member on your team (AFK clearly ineligible) 2. **One** honor per match 3. No honors for enemy team (this merely eliminated the "Honorable Opponent" option) Under this new system, it is my assessment that honors will be something that is **_truly be earned_** and not handed out haphazardly like candy on Halloween (as it had come to be under the old ways). Honor is not something that is to be sought like "Likes on Facebook". They are something that is deserved for acts of courage in the face of danger, especially in battle. As for the new Honor Icons being shipped for performance during the old Honor System, consider this... As of September 2016 there were approx. an average of **100 million** registered summoners playing League of Legends every month during that year. If you are one of the lucky few to have reached the top 10% mark in your region to earn the _Honorable Opponent, Great Leader, Great Teammate or Great Mentor_ ribbons within that 100 **truly earned** your place, for that was no easy task and is the reason why not all of us will receive one. Nothing is without its flaws but I commend Riot for forcing its players to really respect the efforts their teammates make to improve the overall environment, gameplay and experience of playing League of Legends. Already the new honor system has measurably decreased the amount of toxicity I personally have experienced in game. Already I've seen (in about 75% of matches) teammates collectively honoring the player(s) whom most deserve it. Finally the Honor System is coming ever closer to being _honorable._ _"Stay at the vanguard, ever vigilant."_

I just got my 'participation' icon, as some have called it.... the one for 10 or more honors with the old system... but I've had a teamwork ribbon at one point, but did not receive that icon. Can I expect that icon to hit by the end of September or...?
Delivery is scheduled to be complete by the end of September.

Logged in just to up vote this!!! LMFAO My thoughts EXACTLY. The "Everyone's a winner" Honor icon is more than likely the easiest one to roll out since it doesn't require diving into a mountain of metrics. Riot was pretty clear informing us that this would take until the **end of September** to complete. Yes, those of you flaming a virtual gift Riot had no reason to give is probably indicative of the honor(s) you actually deserve to receive..."Most Likely to Cry About It". {{sticker:zombie-nunu-tears}}
: Riot most certainly has the resources to have some kind of live moderation for this, lots of other games have in-game reporting features that will actually ban a player mid game. While I really don't think that's fair to the rest of the team, having something like this would allow Rioters to actually see trolls in action instead of just letting a ban bot review the chat for "toxicity" (and often finding none, as trolls have a tendency to be "polite" while they are ruining the game for 9 other people).
I agree. Yes, this feature would most likely be abused to some degree but A). Rework of "Honor System" was developed to address abuses in the previous system and B). What feature isn't? (ex. "SMURF" accounts were a huge "NO NO" but Riot adapted). I personally feel actual _live_ _moderators_ (such as those on Twitch) in a random selection of matches, over a period of time should be utilized until a more global system is developed. "Referees" whom spectate randomly selected matches starting from champion select to 15min mark. Most trolls will make themselves known out the gate. By the 15min mark, a troll will show whether s/he intends to troll or is actually playing to win. "Report in champ select" is a viable option but as _Starcraft243ver_ commented, non-meta picks may/will be viewed as trolling when part of the glory of LoL is doing the seemingly impossible with a champs kit (ex. ADC LuLu is apparently a thing now).
: How does adaptive helm work
I just used this item with Sejuani. I stacked 2 other MR items (+ boots) with it (Tank runes and Masteries with MR + Health regen as well) and by late game I could plow through Teemo's shrooms. Passive may seem "weak" but if you need to make a play, your tank can initiate with time enough for your ADC to do some damage. Maybe I got lucky but I had no fear chasing down the little b*stard through a field of shrooms. Her Q helped me get through them faster as well so the 5 sec lasted "longer" (time becomes relative). There's slight shield FX that shows the item when it's active and as it degenerates.

: Proof of Toxicity
Toxicity is toxicity whether it's happening 10% of the time or 70%. If a player isn't playing their champ strategically (and it's clear they're not feeding) that does not give reason to flamed, taunted etc. The example above is clearly within the first 5-7 min of the match. Yes, losing first blood has it's setback but come on, to declare your teammate "...doesn't know sh*t" is a bit much and guess what? Now that player is your enemy teams 6th man. His/her focus is off, concentration lowered and decisions will be second guessed. Toxic behavior towards your own team only secures an advantage for the opposing team and lowers yours. I've been playing LoL for almost 6yrs and only in the past 6 months has the level of toxicity within the match overall has reached 50%. Now I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but these are in primarily ARAM matches. I say this because _there's no rewards beyond chests, keys and champion masteries in ARAM_. It's supposed to be "fun" but I can't tell you how many times someone has to be reminded that their ELO means nothing in that mode. Even when there's nothing at stake players will rage, afk, feed and flame. So yes, some work still needs to be done to curb this. I will say about 6wks ago racist, bigoted and threatening comments increased exponentially but has since tapered off.

: I just wanna say, the music in the new client is amazing
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!! I thought I was losing my mind when I heard it while I was playing ARAM LOL The music during the match was insane-ly beautiful!
: Would something like this be considered toxic?
Some would argue that it depends on if the player addresses your champion (ex "Hey Brand, kys.") or the player by name (ex."Hey WhoremOnes...kys") along with the context and tone of chat leading up to it. If that's ALL they're saying the whole time then yes, I personally think it's toxic. The intent is clearly to throw someone off their game by pushing buttons like a 2yr old. I'm of the school of thought, "follow your gut". If it walks talks and acts like a duck, it's a duck. Mute + Report (but let your team know you've muted that person and why when you're in the shop if they're on your team).

Yes. Riven was "ruined" by her experience in the Ionian war and "torn apart" by her loyalty to her command versus the injustice she was witnessing. "...on a quest to seek atonement and a way to save the pure Noxian vision in which she believed," Riven set herself in a self imposed exile severing ties with her gruesome Noxian past. : Could you make a online version?
Three things came to mind when I saw this question... 1. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of Riot making a table top game? (Or at least wait until it's been out a while) I thought the point of table tops was "getting together with friends _offline_" to game. You know, so you can "use your imagination". A slight nod to D&D. 2. Aren't you essentially just asking for another game mode and/or map on League? I know it won't feel or play like a "traditional" mode but it preeeeeetty much would just be one. 3. Get the game. Invite your offline friends to play. TADAA! Ivern: Friend of the Forest... He definitely seems to be a treant and judging by the "gauntlet" on his left arm, possibly of Maokai's lineage. I must say, he's quite breath-takingly majestic and seems to be more of a shaman than Maokai. From the video it seems his abilities may include something similar to Zyra's Grasping Roots (soldier being strangled by roots) and possibly also her Stranglethorns (at the end of the video he seems to summon the growth of the brush at will). I also believe he will be capable of granting buffs to monster camps as he looks to be protecting the cubs of a murk wolf. Waiting with bated breath for this one. On another note, it would be FANTASTIC if he and Mao had boss interactions (voice as well as gameplay) when played either on the same team or 1v1. Riot....please? {{champion:57}}
: Is Ivern the same "race" as Maokai?
Ok so, apparently I'm really psyched by this champ cause I think I figured out a couple more things about him. On his "gauntlet" there appears to be either the image of or the growth of the Amanita muscaria. This is a type of psychotropic mushroom, an entheogen (Fully matured, it looks just like the ones in Mario Bros., red cap white dots "warts"). An entheogen is any chemical substance used in a religious, shamanic, or spiritual context to induce a transcendent state. In western Siberia its use was restricted to the shamans. This held true for the sorcerers of the Sami people in Inari, Finland as well reportedly some Native American tribes of the Sub-Arctic. (Vikings were also known to consume it before battle and go into a berserker rage. Apparently the consumption of 15 meant death.
