: No one cares about afk now?
1. the IFS rarely gives feedback on successful report. 2. AFK's are handled by LeaverBuster, not IFS. 3. Leaves and AFK'S has some leeway to account for emergencies and occassional RL issues. 4. LB penalties are handled with longer queue times, not bans.

Both. I see it used ironically about as often as seriously. Personally, I'd put it on the low end whem used as an insult.

I don't know about Borderlands scripts. But I think I remember warnings that autoclickers for idle games could trigger LoL's detection. Like DuskDaUmbreon said, though, best to make sure they're disabled.

It's in bold letters in the first section of the ToS. I know they have no good way to verify someone's age, but it's still technically against the rules for a twelve-year-old to play.
: Is lane jacking punishable? Is It Griefing?
I think normal drafts were added in S2. And it was 3 bans by first pick back then. I don't remember exactly when they switched from elo to random, but I think it wss shortly after adding normals.
: Is lane jacking punishable? Is It Griefing?
Lane call has been around since S1. Probably into Beta. Back then, there also wasn't normal draft. There was Blind pick, and there was Ranked. And no lane assignments or hovers. Pick order was also determined by Elo, so there were a lot of "I'm better than you, you take what's left" attitude, even though it was usually so close as to not matter. People would call in ranked, but if you weren't first pick and someone else took that role, you were expected to suck it up and take something else.

: Banning own teammates champ should sometimes be punishable
The most memorable incident for me was a guy who banned my pick (I'm 90% sure he was autofilled and wanted to force a trade). I rolled my eyes and picked someone else. A third party dodged and I ended up on the same team as that guy again. So, to test if it was Teemo hatred or not, I hovered my second pick. He banned that champion and someone else banned my first pick from the previous lobby (don't if they were duo or normal Teemo hate) Unfortunately, there was another dodged and I didn't see him again or I would have just kept picking different champions until he gave up or raged himself into a report.

: Nubrac and NB3 are both wrong and right
I don't know either player. But a few things I'd like to point out: 1. AFKs are handled by LeaverBuster and require a history of leaves/afks before issuing a LPQ. 2. Chat offenses generally start with chat restrictions. So you'll likely never know if someone is at that level of punishment. 3. Troll detection is difficult enough on consistant trolls. If, as it sounds, nubrac was trolling streamers but otherwise playing it straight, that would make detection even more difficult and likely require a manual review to spot.

If I'm in a games with some talking about giving up, complaining about failed surrenders, or announcing they'll leave/afk, I report them for Negative Attitude (giving up). Otherwise, I just let LB handle it and forget them by the next game.
: Amumu jungle goes top lane at level 4 and lanes with his premade Renekton for 6 minutes straight
Towers *are* objectives. Red/blue buff, dragon, and Baron are secondary objectives. Yes, they help the team but, just like kills, they don't win the game if you ignore towers. If they missed other objectives but still one, they clearly didn't need them.
: New player. Is LoL worth putting up with the toxicity?
It's not that bad. A lot of what you see will depend on your own attitude and expectations. People make mistakes or get outclassed by better players. It's not trolling if a new player runs up to the turret when they don't yet know how much it chunks therr life down. It's not trolling if an RPG players comes in thinking ranged characters don't use swords. But people hear about the trolling and begin to expect to see it. So, instead of seeing a mistake from a new player, they see a trolling smurf... and start flaming. I've played with genuinely new players and had others ask if they were trolling. One of them, the second time the new player made a noob mistake (ran up to hit a tower w/o minion support), the random player asked if I was sure they were new, and I told them 'Yes, I'm sitting next to them.' (We were at a gaming cafe). So, you get smurfs who forget there are genuine new players. The smurfs start flaming, then the new players start to think that's 'normal' behavior for the game, while not knowing it's reportable.

A couple changes I wouldn't mind in the Practice tool: 1. allowing allied bots. I would bet most people practice in mid lane, yet it auto assigns to bot lane. Again, you can add dummies, but they are stationary and don't really help if you need to practice hitting skill shots on moving targets.

It might have been the clicker program. I think I remember reading warnings a few years ago about autoclickers for idle games could trigger LoL's anticheat system.
: Why does leaving a ranked game not cause a dodge timer?
Dodge timers handle champion select dodges. Rage quitting is handled by LeaverBuster. Quitting a game also locks the player from starting a new game until the game is over. So, if he was sitting around waiting to start a new game, it is possible to see him in the next game. Something else to keep in mind is that LB does have some leniency built in so players aren't unfairly punished for occassional, unexpected interruptions. Rage quitting uses up that leniency.

: Inting teammates in low elo
A big reason the system is aweful at identifying *intentional* feeders is because people report *all* feeding as intentional. First blood? Inting. Doesn't know how do defend in an unfavorable matchup? Inting. First time on a champion? Inting. Badly outclassed? Inting. Caught out while warding dragon/baron? Inting. Stuff like that adds so much flack, the system *can't* learn how to identify actual inting.
: The player has played for 5 seasons and has 250 games in Season 9. I doubt he doesn't know. =)

: Is not using your summoner spells bannable?
I remember it taking *months* for me to figure out how to use certain Summoner Spells and longer for active items. I had to use champions with similar abilities and put things next to the matching ability. Tristana's (pre-rework) Explosive Charge for ignite, Ezreal's Arcane Shift for Flash, Teemo's Mushrooms for Wards, etc.
: Understand the champ before you get mad at the person playing them
**Playing support tank Nautilus** *ADC*: Why didn't you run? *Me*: Too slow, so I kept the enemy team from catching you.

: Should the zero tolerence policy be renamed?
I agree. I prefer 'Minimal Tolerance' myself. I suspect they use 'Zero Tolerance' because it sounds harsher and people understand the concept.
: The current system would still exist. That option would be a plus. In ranked games, you can't be premade as 4, it is rather 2 or 5.

If a duo pair struggles, there won't be a unanimous vote. If the solo player is outclassed or never receives any help (because the duos are supporting each other) and loses lane, who do you think is going to be blamed?
: I really would like to believe that. But, unfortunately, I do not. I trust more in the players than RIOT. I think that 4 players would judge the other player behaviour much better than RIOT's algorithms. Let's be honest, do you think that RIOT has the human resources to investigate every single report? Of course, it does not, and it cannot!! It would be extremely expensive! All I am saying is that I trust the players' community to evaluate that! To think that ALL 4 PLAYERS would punish the 5th player unfairly is just sad. It would be something like "4 out of 5 players, on average, would misjudge an act of bad conduct or punish the 5th player on purpose for not agreeing with them."

It would be something like "4 out of 5 players, on average, would misjudge an act of bad conduct or punish the 5th player on purpose for not agreeing with them." It's unfortunate, but it happens. The current system is set up to protect players from mob reports and to give them a voice against trolling premades. Your vote proposal would actually remove many of those protections.
: I am A Very Proud NA Fan
I was hoping for NA, but I think the bigger disappointment was that the games weren't closer and TL got swept. To me, it seemed like TL put everything into beating IG and just didn't have enough left for G2.
: TROLL PLAYERS. Should a team, with a unanimous vote, prevent a teammate of winning League Points?
