: Why do I have to get a chat ban from a troll who frustrated me?
: He is easily countered by cc and is not great early game. I would sort of compare him to Kayn or Jax in that regard. Plus with Master Yi having a simple kit you can easily outplay him (Especially in higher Elo). Another con to playing Master Yi is that he has no escapes outside his Flash. Rammus, Kha'Zix, Quinn, Volibear, Udyr, and Shaco can counter him extremely well. Avoid champs like Amumu, Xin Zhou, Sejuani, Vi, or Shyvana when playing against Master Yi (Avoid playing Amumu in general XD). I play a lot of Shaco so this is what I do against a Master Yi. Abuse your strong ganks early. Partially steal enemy jungle creeps so they don't regenerate. Let your mid have your wolves/chickens whenever possible so he get ahead in gold. Steal enemy buffs whenever possible (care with wards). Take Objectives! This is more important than getting kills in my opinion as a Shaco Splitpush when your team is in a teamfight (Shaco is not the best at teamfights). If your midlaner is mana-dependent, make him have always your Blue buff. Shaco traps are strong early. Try to kill enemy jungler to make him stay behind. If you do all of this, the game should end before Master Yi becomes a problem. This should help you when you are against a Master Yi. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}

: Long as you force the enemy summoners that's a successful gank. Which you should abuse by ganking that same lane within 2 minutes because their summoners will still be down. Also there can be reasons why your laners didn't follow up on the gank. 1. No Mana to commit to it, or their spells are still on cooldown which they should ping it out to you, if you still go in after the ping that's your fault. 2. Huge minion wave crashing into their tower. 3. Enemy jungler is near by and they know you two can't win the 2v2 based on what champs you and the enemy players are using.

: Vanye with one item is better than most champs with 2
actually I think {{champion:11}} is better with one item than {{champion:67}}. Because he just needs attack speed with his e. So a jungle yi coming in with {{item:1419}} is going to do a lot more than {{champion:67}} with {{item:3124}}. Unless {{champion:67}} lands a condemn, but then that's the players skill level, not the champ.

I'm totally with you there. I played a lot of {{champion:157}} mid season 6 and the near the start of season 7. Season 7 starts and every assassin and their mom is one shotting because of {{item:3147}}. I dealt with it, and then they changed the runes and I could no longer play any type of bruiser because scaling runes were no longer an option. So I decided to go to playing {{champion:7}} because of her rework. Then they reverted her. Season 8 was just a mess and I'm still having nightmares from that season. Especially because {{champion:238}} just needed to w, q, e, w, auto attack, ignite and he was guaranteed a kill unless you were playing some tank type champ. Or someone with good base resistances. Season 8 I simply played a lot of {{champion:34}} because she could keep squishy champs from engaging her if you landed q and placed the wall correctly after someone tried to do an engage like {{champion:91}} or {{champion:3}}. Over all, I'd have to say I'm with you on the not being one shot. I'd rather deal with {{champion:89}} or {{champion:3}} just coming up to me and slapping me a few times, being very hard to kill, than having a {{champion:141}} just pop out of the wall doing w and dealing half my health with it. The current runes though need improvement. They should put scaling runes again so that you can play how you like. Like for me, I've never been a fan of early game damage. I liked the idea of just farming to build up late game damage and that's what made this game popular IMO. I just remember why I liked this game so much. {{champion:154}} was my first champion that I played and I liked just jumping on the enemy, usually dying, but I found a way to not die as much. Then I went over to {{champion:17}} and just lined the lanes with mushrooms because they lasted 10 minutes each. Good times haha. Then there was old {{champion:18}} and my god do I miss her old kit. I remember when I could poke them down to half health. Then just e ult ignite and that usually gave me the kill. But It didn't happen until a level 6 power spike and I need to win some trades. {{item:3128}} helped with that when I couldn't quite get the kill. Then there was {{champion:86}} {{champion:222}} {{champion:53}} {{champion:99}} {{champion:33}} (with homeguard boot enchantments){{champion:27}} all the old champs I had fun on.

I just don't like the fact that {{item:3147}} exists. If they had an alternative to {{item:3078}} like {{item:3100}}, but for assassins, then it wouldn't be as bad because that means that they'd actually have to land their abilities to proc it. Not have some stupid {{champion:120}} just run from the bushes and kill you one shot.

True. But if top laner is getting camped for example, then you should be taking dragon and ganking bot lane. If you try to counter gank and you and your laner die. That is YOUR FAULT.

I just miss the old league where snowballing was something that you did later in the game and earlier and assassins. For example, if you wanted a late game powerhouse mage/fighter. Go {{champion:45}} {{champion:75}} Want to have an early game lead? Go any assassin plus sword of the occult. Want to be a late game carry? Go ranged champs CC without ridiculous dmg? Yes I miss that. I miss how sometimes you can't just carry the game playing only assassins. That's what teammates were for. Same goes for tanks. turrets weren't stupid back then. {{champion:17}} was an annoying little shit that made you want to kill yourself because his mushrooms had 10 minutes each. But you'd laugh because of how stupid your death was because you escaped with a sliver of health. {{champion:22}} was actually a useful ranged champ. {{champion:55}} was fun to play People played actual CC supports outside of {{champion:412}} {{champion:89}} Good times, good times. Now we're just left with two shotting anyone anytime with every class including ranged. It's seldom gratifying to get a penta these days.

complaining about kench when champs are pretty much flying around the map with their mobility. {{champion:7}} {{champion:238}} {{champion:11}} {{champion:81}} {{champion:120}} to name some. When is this bias going to end?
: What team mate would you rather have?
A. because the toxic player can be muted and will still perform better most likely. If I have a teammate {{champion:45}} at 5/0 talking shit, I can just mute him and expect him to continue to perform well. If I had a teammate like in option B that just feeds and goes 0/7. Then it won't matter if I mute him, give advice, or flame because he'll still perform rather poorly. So yeah A is definitely the lesser poison.

: windwall makes him an excellent counter-engage or defensive ace in the hole during team fights; he has as many dashes as there are enemies within range ; his crowd control can be targeted if he combines it with his dash and even if he doesn't, he is at close enough range to rarely miss it ; he has a defensive steroid that negates the majority of any damage he receives for 1 second (it does not work the same as a standard shield but instead reduces all incoming damage by the shield's maximum because the shield value does not decrease) and this steroid can be refreshed instantly by using his ultimate his ultimate reduces bonus armor by 50% which if he combines it with armor pen, reduces bonus armor to about one third of its effective value while also reducing their base armor due to armor pen let's say they have 100 base armor and 200 bonus armor, with these two factors combined, that's only about 131 armor out of 300 total his ultimate allows him to extend any knockup or displacement crowd control while suppressing them, making him easily able to combo attack with the large number of knockups and displacement now in the game his Q scales with attack speed instead of cooldown reduction, making it very stat efficient early game #and to top it all off, he's a hyper carry with the earliest late-game powerspike in the game...

Windwall 18 second cd at max rank. So not very reliable in extended fights. Does nothing to some ultimates like {{champion:99}} and {{champion:161}}. Useless vs melee fighters. Many dashes, that's true, but he can't dash through the same target until like 6 seconds later. Most effective in lane and not vs single targets. Yes I don't really like his passive shield thing. So I agree there. True dmg>armor pen and there's a lot of true dmg in the game. He needs to land his third q or have some kind of airborn cc to use his ult.

: Funny thing... Yasuo is clearly a serious problem with League at all levels. He is either overwhelming or useless in pro play. He is the absolute least fun champion in the game for most people to play against. Yet, unlike Azir, Ryze, Galio, and the mages that actually require skill or tactical knowledge of the game (or both for Ryze), he will never be gutted and left in a ditch to be ignored for all time. Instead, he will be allowed to alter the entire game. One champion with over a 90% pick/ban is literally a game-warping champion. And no, not warping a specific game. I mean warping League of Legends itself. Out of over 140 champions no single champion should even be close to 90% pick/ban. And he has consistently been over 40% for at least 18 months but for weeks now has been over 75% and is now at over 90%.

Skill and tactical knowledge? Look at a pro yasuo vs a noob yasuo. BIG BIG BIG difference. Now look at a pro veigar vs a noob veigar. They're basically the same. quit your crying.
: And this is why Riot doesn't listen to the boards for balance. Because "nerf yasuo into the ground" isn't balance. It's bias.

Yeah. Even though you got downvoted to oblivion, I agree.
Hotarµ (NA)
: I didn't personally downvote it, but I can imagine it's because OP is trying to paint a narrative that assassins are broken or Rengar is broken when in reality he's leaving out vital pieces of information Mentioning that the person who killed you is 25/12 is kind of a big deal

So he can build {{item:3147}} {{item:3031}} {{item:3031}} {{item:3031}} {{item:3031}} Then finish with boots of some kind.
