: They do have that. It's the client you play league on. That's why literally every game mode they have ever made has been on it. Some modes even have their own personal maps. The league of legends client IS the Riot games client. Why would they make another client when the one they have works for it just fine? It's not like Riot has a ton of games. Another interesting mechanic is if you throw a skillshot that would end up in a place where your enemy has vision, they can often see the entire skillshot. It's for this reason that I usually walk behind drag and shoot skillshots backwards out of the pit, so enemies on the other side or wards on the other side can't see these skillshots.

Kled has been busted for an extremely long time. It's one of those champs that is rarely seen but is always like UGH when I see it picked. He has so much impact on the game its actually insane, he can easily hard carry and create conditions where the opponents simply cannot come back. It's also one of those champs like Kat etc. where the champ is just insanely busted to the point of boosting players way out of their skill level, and if banned they are simply unable to function. That's why I pretty much always ban Kat, the amount of 1 tricks at my elo is actually insane and hitting one is usually an autowin. Kled is in the same boat but is so rarely played (compared to Kat especially) that I can't justify the ban, but if he was more popular he definitely would be a contender for a permaban from me.

Qiyana's E deals no damage, take that away and recount, she deals slightly less that Zed by ~10-15 damage. I didn't count Malz's passive vs Zed because I placed them in the same lane positions, so if Zed wouldn't had broken the passive with a Q earlier then he's just bad. If they were in the same lane position, Malz wouldn't have his passive up vs Zed. So yes, although normally Qiyana will burst harder with the same combo than Zed does (we can also agree it's much harder to execute than Zed's), in the scenario above, if both Qiyana and Zed played correctly, Zed deals equal to a bit more damage.

AND if Malz didn't have his shield he probably wouldn't have gone into range like this anyway, so that entire point is completely moot. with that said, Zed is still cancer and I'd rather face Qiy than Zed, but let's not be delusional about Qiy's damage here lmao

it's "to prevent abuse from people specifically targeting certain stats at the detriment to the match" like oh you don't want to die because you will get lower KDA and thus lower chance to get S/higher mastery points etc... so you just don't enter teamfights at all stuff like that. that's their philosophy on it anyway. while it does make way more sense that it shouldn't be related to whether or not you won or lost, we need less things that are affecting decisions people make in (especially ranked) games. things like "play a game as x champion" missions, though they can be completed anyway by playing more games as other champs, could lead to people playing those champs just to get the mission done, even if they don't know how to play that champ or role. so the fact of you winning being really important, it encourages people to both do their best and still strive to win.

Malzahar at level 2 has 600 HP, with Doran's Ring, it's 680, but he's not at max HP, right where his HP bar was then, it was around the 500-550 mark. Let's just go with 550 since it's more stable. Qiyana's E damage is negligiable as she broke the passive with, but visually, it did like 20-30, let's go with 20 as it was her passive that dealt the damage. So that leaves Malz with 530 HP, her AA since it's empowered would've hit for 66+10 LS + 10 adaptive + 12 = 98. 530 - 98 = 432, then she uses Water Q, which deals 89, so 432 - 89 = 343, then another empowered AA, which this time applies passive, so it's 118, leaving him with 225, taking him bellow half HP, then Wall Q, which deals 89 + 54 as bonus since he's bellow half, equalling to 143, leaving Malz with 82 HP, Ignite deals 110 damage at level 3, and since he died on the last tick of Ignite (as he used his potion way too late), the Ignite dealt it's whole 110 damage, so Qiyana, with electrocute (which I didn't math it, as I didn't math in the armor Malz has, too tired for that) did around 440 damage. 440 damage using 1 Q, 2 AA, 2 passive procs, Electrocute, 1 Q with execute damage. Just for amusement, let's look at Zed vs that Malz with no passive. Zed has 68 base AD at level 3 + 10 LS + 10 adaptive = 88, so 2 AA from Zed is 176, + 41 being from his passive = 217. Considering the position where Qiyana and Malz are, Zed would've easily hit a double Q, there are no minions between them, so Zed's Q would deal full damage, being (80 + 20) x 2 = 200, then E adding another 78, and we have Zed being able to deal in that exact situation, without counting the electrocute proc or the armor, 495 damage. Qiyana did (again, without counting elec or armor), 468. That's almost 30 less damage on Qiyana, with a much more complex combo than what Zed would have to do. Basically, in that exact same situation, Malzhar's getting a new one, regardless if it's Zed or Qiyana.

You must be playing a different game lmao I've had this happen an incredible amount of times: I'll for example, go all the way up to Diamond 3 promos, then SUDDENLY out of nowhere I will get completely unwinnable games. Like no amount of my impact or anything will save how absolutely one sided the games are. Lose promos, then go on a massive losing streak after that, which does NOT end until I get demoted back to Plat 1. Majority of these games being completely unwinnable. Last time this happened to me, over about 20 games, I had 8 afks/ragequits, and 3 people who lost their mind and started running it down because of something someone on our team said (WHILE CLEARLY WINNING). And this is NORMAL for when this happens. The amount of afks/ragequits is actually staggering during these periods. Then immediately after demoting, the games become complete freelo again. Absolutely unloseable games, 15 minute stomps, and autowin promos back to Diamond because the games are so one sided in my favor (which they are anyway with decent matchmaking). Then all the way back with massive winstreaks up until promos and then yep.. suddenly completely unwinnable games again, until I lose series and then lose all the way to getting demoted back to Plat. Then win like 8-9 in a row before a fluke loss because the games suddenly become normal again. This amount of consistent 'variance' is impossible if the system was natural. Without these forced losses, I had over 80% winrate on Shyvana and Soraka, and 60%+ on Ziggs and Evelynn, but nope, gotta force losses. Without these insanely unwinnable games that happen in a row WHICH IMMEDIATELY STOP UPON DEMOTION, EVERY SINGLE TIME, I'd be a way higher rank. The fact that I climb back instantly, winning like 8-9 in a row to get back shows that clearly my skill isn't the issue. Unless you are trying to argue that I'm a god stuck in D5 who can win every game at this elo because I'm far, far, far above in skill, but then I tilt for 10 games and cause loss after loss until I untilt (and somehow try to justify me getting ragequits/people running it down in over 50% of games at this time), or some ridiculously outlandish fantasy to try and justify this, there clearly is more at play than just normal matchmaking. Bonus points for when I was climbing in Season 3 and was up to high LP in Diamond 1, then went on a massive ~22 loss streak until I got demoted to Diamond 2. (LP gains were like 2-3 per game back then in D1, you'd lose more for dodging than just taking a loss) I won like maybe 2 games in that time. This was of course after a ~27 win streak where I lost maybe 2 games in there. Clearly I was a god even in Diamond 1, that should have been Challenger, but was just tilting out of my mind going on a massive loss streak like that. Then again to win 90+% of games over 27 games in D1, must have been pretty good. Cherry on top when I had a Riven who was 0/4, who said they were gonna leave if they died again. I ganked top twice in a row, got Riven 2 kills. 20 seconds later, she died solo to the Darius who TP'd back, and then left the game. Yeah there was a point in time where I just started permabanning her (as a jungler no less) because she had way too high of an impact on games. Her ability to stack her passive is just nuts and her dps is so steady that it basically has no downtime, meaning she doesn't really have any moments of weakness that you can exploit. It's just a straight statcheck and that's after you get past her traps. if you can't pop her instantly you're just gonna get melted. i haven't banned her in a long time not because she isn't broken, but because there are more cancerous very popular champs that are higher priority (kayn, kat, etc) so yeah. but she is still bonkers, feels like any game with her in it is winnable (for her team) since she snowballs insanely hard in fights so it only takes 1 takedown before she goes out of control (especially with her movement speed giving her basically a huge defensive steroid in the fact that she can just outposition most other champs with Yi level runspeed. Actually now that I think about it, her passive is basically a stacking Yi ult, besides the ignoring slows... :| reminds me of how Blue Kayn's passive is literally a resettable Zed ult. balanced....

I've had literal Bronze players in Diamond+ ranked games, not even like smurfs or anything, just actual Bronze accounts, who go like 0/12 because they are way out of their depth. It's kinda rare but it has happened many many many times that I've noticed in the past years. I don't really look at rankings of teammates that often so I'm sure many have eluded me. Random golds with average winrates happen quite often as well, and P4s are relatively common as well. Then of course there was that time I was like D3 94 LP, and I got autofilled and placed in a Masters game. ????????????????????????? I was basically the Bronze player that game LOL. What is wrong with the matchmaking system that it can even justify this? The best part was that I was autofilled lol. Like as if it wasn't bad enough. So yeah its not just normals. Really sad tbh

It's definitely worst when you're using it as an insult and still pretty bad when you're using it in the negative context as well. We do understand that there are some occasions when folks use that and it doesn't meet those two negative connotations, typically warranting lesser removals, but still sometimes bans (as is the case here). A review of your history showed that you had just had a removal for similar language. Not "r%%%%%" but actually a more specific insult related to mental disability. That prior removal was already a 1-day. Given the short duration (15 days), I didn't feel a lesser punishment was appropriate. As for autistic? I do think it's as bad, if not worse than r%%%%%. I don't think its use is as frequent as "r%%%%%" is though. I don't recall the team ever having discussed censoring that word.

I've had 7 afks/ragequits in the last 20 games (D4 atm) and like 5 bot lanes who were like combined 2/17 by 15 mins. Also a bunch of kids who went mental and starting running it down (3 or 4 at least). Hell just a few games ago we were winning hard, I ganked top and killed the enemy top laner (alone btw, laner didn't help at all), took like 2 CS and he had a meltdown, ran it down top, said to enjoy the loss and then left the game. This is pretty normal at this point, and this only started happening at a certain point: I had a 79% winrate over 50~ games, hit promos, went 1-2 and then this started happening lol. AFK after AFK or people actually running it down, spewing racist hate speech, telling x teammate they are hardstuck and then either continuing to run it down or just leave the game. This account is clearly marked lmao

Idk man, Riven/Yas/Zed players are the most toxic players in the game. Also Riven is the champ with the most leavers, highly related to them being toxic. Certain types of champs draw certain types of people. Just so happens that low quality people tend to play certain champions more. In fact, I just had a Riven ragequit after going like 0/3 in lane (by like 6-7 minute mark) and deciding to just int and leave after that. It's normal. It's also expected when you have a Yasuo player for them to be a rager. It's just the way it is. I'm not saying anything about matchups or whatever, but there certainly can be a lot of truth in certain types of people playing certain champs, and that you getting someone playing those champs gives you a much much higher chance of getting that kind of person. It's like horoscopes but with league champ mains, and actually with factual basis. Not that it applies to everyone, but it tends to be pretty accurate.

No. The winrate is skewed because of low playrate and only nasus one tricks or nasus mains are playing him, and ofcourse their wr is high because they practice match ups. counterplay is the main thing the game is supposed to revolve around. you want to have decisions to make throughout the game, not just paper scissors rock in champion select to determine the winner. if a champ "has adequate counterplay" and is weak BECAUSE of that, that means they don't have the ability to use their tools to outplay other champions because... well.. other champs don't have appropriate counterplay. they can outplay you, but you can't outplay them. that's not good design.

Yi for instance has a high winrate in Iron/Bronze/Silver, but if you ask any experienced player Yi is not a very good pick for jg. If you look at AP Shyvana from an analysts perspective she's actually average in terms of jungle performance, but the winrate is inflated because of the fact that it is primarily a High Elo pick. The build itself is also relatively new in terms of popularity, and feels a bit like a cheese pick. Once lower elo starts to pick it up it will fall back down. I thinks its important to remember that High Elo players typically have higher winrates, so if only high elo players are playing a particular champion or build it will have a higher winrate than it would have if it was played in all elo's

As long as you are focusing objectives shyv can be a powerhouse. I tried AP when it started becoming a thing but personally I dislike it, it requires you to get distance and poke instead of diving in and peeling. My favorite build is to rush recurve bow and boots then cc ward the drake and clear it fast. Go blood razor after that, get boots depending on the situation and build frozen mallet or a steraks. If they have full ad/ap rush a Spirit Vasage or Deadman's after jg item instead. Technically AP shyvana has a higher winrate but that's mostly because of high elo players spamming it. Also most people who play against her aren't used to dealing with a super high damage E. If you don't believe me check my op.gg

Darth Vader was available to be unlocked free-to-play and we all know what happened with that game lmao. Also, skins and cosmetics are a huge market, so much so that many spend more on them than they would a full priced game or a DLC. And the more played a champ is, the more skins are going to sell for that champ. It's quite well known that popular champs have had insane favor in the balance decisions. While other champs who were not popular were literally beyond gutted and left to rot for sometimes years. If they decided someone like Yasuo/Riven/Ahri etc was cancer, and gutted them beyond playability until they get reworked, like they have done to some champs before, they would lose a ton of players on those champs and a lot of purchases on any skins they would have received. Fanboy/girlism is strong and is a huge thing to cater to. They didn't get to where they are not on selling champ unlocks and rune pages, although those certainly pad their wallets nicely from how convenient they are.

Grasp is a laning rune, it doesn't help you in team fights virtually at all, it's abused by some champions like GP and a few mages in unfavorable matchups that they wouldn't rather have klepto. Aftershock is much less effective for tanks than other champs - getting 120 armor when you have 200 is crap ass, and the champions who might want it can not trigger it reliably (Malphite is a good example) Guardian is support exclusive. Meanwhile, damage dealers have their pick of the litter, do you want to do 3 auto attacks, 3 spells, one big spell, lots of spells, lots of auto attacks, lots of auto attacks but with true damage... and tanks have nothing. Nothing that actually helps them serve their true function. Summoner spellbook is the last bastion of every champion without a keystone, except all those champions just got canned, so actually we have nothing.

Purely by effective hp and %s yeah sure someone who already has armor doesn't gain as much % effective hp but that's completely irrelevant considering the duration of Aftershock. The only thing that matters is the raw damage you can take total, especially since Aftershock doesn't have a massive duration. Remember that this is not a game where you are constantly taking a certain amount of damage per second and you have x seconds to live based on your effective health. There are bursts that do a max amount of damage and there are cooldowns, so it's possible to die instantly with 2000 ehp but live a rotation, survive a few seconds longer and win a fight with 2400 ehp. So yeah you get 220% EHP POG with 0 armor but you still are going to die instantly anyway.

If they aren't able to burn through the 600 shield, then it's done its job. if they are able to burst through it and still kill you, then you got the full +600 hp. if they wait it out (the only situation where you can say it's "not really HP"), then it's essentially a 2 second zhonya where you can still move and attack the enemy. no matter what way you put it, it's +600 hp to burn through or die because you can't.

Well it's pretty easy to calculate the stats. 30% atk speed = 750g 25% crit chance = 1000g 5% movement speed = 200g 7% movement speed = 275g 240 health = 640g total : 2865g for 2600g = 110% gold efficient. at level one. at level 11, 450 health = 1200g total : 3425g = 131% gold efficient at level 18, 600 health = 1600g total : 3825 = 147% gold efficient. 147% gold efficient not even counting ghosting btw. oh and all the 'health' that is on the item is completely unaffected by % max hp damage, % missing hp damage, etc. Balanced

BTW, Ekko sees no play at all in Pro play, and is rarely seen in solo q, as many one tricks prefer to play hard carry champs like yasuo or zed. My suggestion is try playing Ekko yourself, as he really isn't that bad as you put him to be.

With Electrocute and Ignite, it's 350+235% AP, plus 130 true damage. Considering he will start with 20-30 AP, that's 400 damage + 130 true damage. That's not a trivial amount of damage considering you have like 800 hp or less at level 3. If you get hit by almost anything before it, you are easily in kill range. the champ is bullshit.

Going from 75% damage reduction to 80% damage reduction is 25% damage reduced. 1000 health + 0 armor = 1000 ehealth 1000 health + 100 armor = 2000 ehealth (50% dr) 1000 health + 200 armor = 3000 ehealth (66% dr) 1000 health + 300 armor = 4000 ehealth (75% dr) 1000 health + 400 armor = 5000 ehealth (80% dr) For example, if you had 98% damage reduction, and you went to 99% damage reduction, you only "lower damage by 1%". But actually you cut the damage you were taking in half.
