**Again** is right. Thanks for posting Iron IV Feeder. I haven't kept up with Missions much lately (as I haven't played lately), but Riot just seemed to refuse to mention anything Twisted Treeline related in Missions for awhile. (They mentioned Vilemaw in one mission, but browsing through the [comprehensive list of missions](https://leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Missions), it seems like they've gone back to completely ignoring the map.) I made [an angry thread](https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/Z5z83x2x-why-is-riot-insistent-on-making-sure-that-no-mission-involves-twisted-treeline) and [many posts](https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/Z5z83x2x-why-is-riot-insistent-on-making-sure-that-no-mission-involves-twisted-treeline?comment=00120000) a year and a half ago about this. The Season 2018 Prepare for the Journey missions had this mission: > **The Journey Begins (1 of 2)**: Play a game of Ranked Solo/Duo OR Play a game of Ranked Flex _on Summoner's Rift_ Why would they specify _on Summoner's Rift_? Why not just say "Play a game of Ranked Flex"? Riot purposefully excluded Twisted Treeline's ranked queue from this mission. In the Snowdown 2017 event, every single available mode was mentioned by a mission except for Twisted Treeline. There was a SR/ARURF mission, a HA/LOTPK mission, a SR mission, and 2 HA missions, but nothing that acknowledged Twisted Treeline's existence. This seems to be more of the same thing, where they specify every map except for Twisted Treeline. Why would they do this? What disqualifies Twisted Treeline from being a viable mode for Tokens???

I wholeheartedly support two-factor authentication for League of Legends. Account security is valuable. People at my university complain about how frustrating our two-factor authentication system is. It does not bug me at all. Sure, I need to spend an extra 10 seconds checking my personal email and typing in a code whenever I log in to my university account from a new browser. However, I'm happy that I have an extra layer of security against someone logging into my account, viewing all my personal details, dropping all my courses, cancelling my housing contract, declining my university-granted scholarships, being able to do anything they want with my school email, and doing other nasty things that would literally screw up my life. I would happily adopt two-factor authentication for my League of Legends account too, even though the consequences for someone hacking it aren't nearly as dire.

: Riot, I think it's time to move on. Or should I say, move forward.
Don't hunt me down for saying this, but I hate MMOs. They're just so in-your-face and they have an absurd amount of mechanics that make it so difficult to fully understand the game. I'd really just prefer some singleplayer or cooperative dungeon crawler instead. On another note, the amount of work it takes to create a MMO is ridiculous. I don't know if Riot could handle it while still maintaining League of Legends.

: So with all the outrage going on Boards with Riot's latest changes...
Champions have been rated as "Dead" on OP.GG before, what you're saying about Corki and Volibear isn't a new feature of OP.GG. I believe Urgot, Yorick, Mordekaiser, Galio, Aatrox, Ivern, Skarner, Volibear, Udyr, and Nunu have all been rated as dead for one or more patches on OP.GG before now, and I haven't checked lately because I haven't played much. It's a sign that the champions aren't in a healthy position and likely that they aren't strong either, if they're being played infrequently enough that the little data on them is statistically insignificant to OP.GG, but that alone is not a large indicator of overall game health.

: it's time we start getting a life.
I think playing computer games has helped me though. I'm sure "having a life" would have helped me differently, but here are some lessons that came from playing a lot of computer games: * It takes a lot of work to make something good. This came from Warcraft III, when I, inspired by playing other people's custom maps, tried to make my own awesome custom map. I poured 40-something hours into it and it ended up being pretty mediocre. The people who made the really fun, awe-inspiring maps poured hundreds of hours into them. This is a lesson that I took to heart with my schoolwork and projects. * It's important to be mature online. * I know how Windows Explorer/File Explorer works from messing around in the files while modding Warcraft III. It's so useful to know how to navigate it, but had I not played a lot of computer games, I wouldn't understand it now. * It's hard to be a moderator or administrator. It's a lot of work and you always have to be professional. You also have to make tough judgements sometimes. * I learned some fundamentals of programming by using Warcraft III's Trigger Editor to program my map. I never actually wrote the JASS, but even just the experience of using the GUI to trigger my map helped me in the programming classes I took in high school. * I actually started applying the adage "Treat people the way you want to be treated" more because of playing League of Legends. I think I was writing a PB&M post and the adage popped into my head and I thought "that is exactly what I am trying to say in this post." After that, I started applying the adage to my games and I started making a lot of friends because they appreciated my attitude. * "Other people's actions do not justify your own" is another thing that was really emphasized to me as a League of Legends player, and I'm glad. I think if more people started going by this philosophy there would be more self-responsibility in the world. I'm in college right now and I know to prioritize schoolwork and chances to hang out with friends over computer games, but I won't deny that computer games have positively affected me in more ways than one and have made me into the person I am today.

I'm really proud of my post on Big Lincoln's post, ["your main has a 40% pick rate without being changed recently: how do the boards react to your champion being the new god tier?"](https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/memes/ndX8HnP5-your-main-now-has-a-40-pick-rate-without-being-changed-recently?sort_type=best&comment=001b). I made a mock post as if I was a Boards user complaining about how OP Karthus was, and I think it turned out great for all the time I spent on it. I think I nailed the complaining tone that Gameplay often uses and did a good job satirizing how Gameplay can compare Champions to make one seem horribly overpowered, which hopefully makes for a funny read! : Can League steal HotS's Blind Pick?
I haven't played in awhile because I've been busy with school work, so though I don't know if Blind Pick has become substantially worse in the four or so months I've been away, but because Blind Pick has been around for a long time and I've seen tons of "remove Blind Pick" threads on the Boards throughout my time as a Boards user and despite all of them saying how cancerous Blind Pick was, I still generally had fun with the mode, I'm going to assume that it's not any worse than how it was previously. I think many people have a mostly false perception of blind pick because they saw how it was pre-30 but haven't really experienced it post-30. Post-30 blind pick is pleasant because most people who play blind pick post-30 play blind pick a lot. Thus, these blind pick regulars know how to fill, because everyone gets to play a decent amount of every role when playing blind pick. If ever the role someone wants gets called, then they often are fine with just taking another uncalled role, but if not then they ask for the role they want from the person who called it first. About half the time they get the role anyways because the person who called it first is capable of filling another role and is nice enough to do it. It's great. Personally, I find myself getting the role I want very often, and that's even without asking other players for a role that I want if they call it first. I know if I did that I'd get it even more. Even though I know how to fill from playing blind pick so much, I find that much more often than not I don't need to fill because I get the role that I call. The only time when the lobby is commonly (in a relative sense) toxic is pre-30 and when a new Champion releases/a Champion is reworked. When it's pre-30, everyone really wants a role very badly so there are occasionally fights when two people want one role—people are very stubborn pre-30 when they don't have wide champion pools or are smurfs grinding to get to level 30. People generally call stuff really quickly and instalocks are more common. When a rework or release happens, Champ Select is also fierce because people will be very quick to call the role of the new Champion and people might fight over who gets to play him or her. Instalocks are also more common because people just get fed up of not getting to play the new Champion. When it's not pre-30 and the latest Champion release happened more than a week ago, Blind Pick Champion select is so chill. I've found that about half the people who queue up don't even call roles and just fill when other people call their roles. I see fights so rarely, and instalocking basically never happens—I see it maybe once every sixty games. When it does, it generally hurts no one because the people in the lobby haven't called yet and they'll just fill around the instalocker. The reason for this is because, as I said previously, **most people who play blind pick play a lot of blind pick, and blind pick regulars know that it's bad to instalock because they've seen the negative consequences of instalocking firsthand.** Blind Pick is just such a stress-free environment for me: I don't have to worry about counterpicks/pick order, queue times are fast, lobby times are fast, everyone else for the most part just wants to relax, there is no risk of my Champion being banned, and no LP is on the line. I basically never play Normal Draft unless my friends want to play it, Blind Pick is so much more fun for me. I find that it is always the people who don't play blind pick who complain about it, which makes sense. Why play a mode they don't like? However, I find most of those people base their blind pick hatred on their pre-30 experiences and maybe those few times they went back to blind pick hoping to play the newest champion/rework. They don't get to experience the wonderfully laid-back atmosphere of post-30 blind pick when there isn't a newly released champion up for grabs. ##Blind pick isn't a cesspool of instalockers, trolls and toxicity. Blind pick is just another generally happy community of players! However, it's the people _who don't play blind pick who have nothing to lose from its removal_ who are petitioning to get it removed or drastically changed based on reasons from their generally limited experience with the mode, which would have the effect of destroying the current blind pick community by taking away the mode that we love.

It's one of those things that didn't make the cut as a result. Well, since these are the Universal Rules, I do think it's important to be specific if something could use a bit more clarification instead of leaving it up to implication. I don't think you should be afraid to have slightly more lengthy rules. Maybe you could do something similar to Riot where they vastly simplified a term in bold before describing it in more detail in their Terms of Use.
: Universal Board Rules Update
Overall, I'm for the changes! Good job team! One thing that I like a lot is how you gave guidelines on what people should upvote. My personal opinion is that you should also give guidelines on what to downvote, even if it's implied to be the exact opposite of an upvote. I like how you emphasized building relationships! There are a _lot_ of users on the Boards, so people recognizing your name in a positive light is a big deal! I like how you made your stance on pejorative language more clear. I think "necromancy of old discussions" isn't quite clear enough, unless you really mean that it's always bad. If someone posts in a relatively dead thread (2 weeks? idk) should I always report it? Speaking of reporting, I think you guys should have been more explicit in saying that all of the bad stuff should be reported, possibly with categories for what rule-breaking content falls under which report category. You already say that posting content not related to the discussion is bad, so I think it's also important to say posting discussions not related to the subboard is bad too. I'm glad you guys took the time to update the rules!

If you want something with a more respectable sample size, look at Trundle then. He has a similar amount of games as Taric (1461) and has a 82% winrate. Anyways, you wanted something overpowered yet extremely unplayed, so that's why I suggested Shyvana. She is _extremely_ unplayed, but the data suggests that she's incredibly overpowered! Taric's winrate doesn't even break 50%.

Very neat, thanks for sharing! May I ask how you format your images? You're getting images inline with your text using vertical brackets, but I don't understand how to do it. It looks really cool!

: [APRIL FOOLS] Riot is unbanning all permabanned accounts!!!!!
Are they unbanning boards accounts too? About five minutes after I posted to the NSFW board my comment was removed and this account was banned with the message "LUL GET REKT." Please unban my account I have spent hundreds of dollars on my premium BEK subscription.

: could a challenger or master adc coach me
Honestly, it would probably be better for you to be coached by someone in Gold or Platinum. I read in a Summoner's School post the other day about a Bronze player who had a bad experience with a Master coach because the Master coach was just giving advice that was way too high level for the player. If you get a coach that's only slightly higher than you, then your coach will only be slightly removed from your skill level, and will know better what will work at your rank.

: I had an hour today, so I played 3v3
The 3v3 meta is figured out and quite stale, actually. There have been OP picks there for quite awhile, and they haven't really changed all too much. Riot doesn't care about the fact that only twenty or so champions have had the spotlight for over a year now. For example, Taric is just busted, and he's got such a high p/b ratio especially at higher ranks. Kayle, Sejuani, Anivia, and a few others are all in a similar situation I believe. Then down in lower ranks where support meta isn't as common, Darius, Illaoi, and Garen have been controlling top lane for awhile, alternating between which one is best. I do like 3v3 though, it's a different feel than SR and at my rank the meta isn't so cut 'n' dry. For example, I don't see Taric in 100% of my games. I have a friend who's D5 in 3v3 and he just refuses to play it more than he has to because it's so boring seeing the same stuff every game. Not only does he see the same stuff, he sees the boring-as-heck support playstyle every single game, which is just farming. I want to get good at 3v3, but I don't want to get so good that the only thing I see game after game is supports.
: Please get Brand out of the support role
I think it's cool that Brand is a support, I just want him to be as strong as he is in support in mid.

: If there's one Skinline I'd like to see Riot Expand it would be the Gothic Horror skinline.
I got Kayle and Riot Kayle for free through Riot's gift two years ago, and three months ago Iron Inquisitor Kayle went on sale in My Shop for 300 RP because I was farming CP on Kayle to get her to level 5. Despite the fact that I already owned Riot Kayle, I bought Iron Inquisitor Kayle because I just adore that splash art and 300 RP was just too low of a price to pass up. The Skin itself is pretty neat itself, but my favorite part is _definitely_ the splash.

: Karthus doesn't need a damage buff IMO. According to champion.gg, Karthus has the highest average damage dealt per game and giving him even more damage isn't going to fix his problems unfortunately.

According to champion.gg, Karthus has the highest average damage dealt per game and giving him even more damage isn't going to fix his problems unfortunately. Karthus is like Teemo, they almost always have the top damage per game because of the natures of their ultimates. They deal a ton of damage, but it's not necessarily useful damage because some of it is just going to happen when it doesn't matter. If Karthus casts ultimate to last hit an escaping champion while the other four teammates are still up, he's going to significantly ramp up his damage stat, but not all of that damage was very effective. He might hit someone who was about to recall, he might have hit the jungler who is able to get back to full hp in a minute by farming camps, etc. Cassiopeia for example doesn't deal nearly as much damage as Karthus per game, but almost all the damage that she's doing matters because in order to deal damage she needs to be right up in someone's face, which means that person is not going to get much of a chance to heal up like he or she can with Karthus's or Teemo's damages.
