The permabans on Brand, I smell them in the air. It's a beautiful sight. RIP Sweet prince, you'll be loved in blind pick.
: Mid Year Mage Updates - Cassiopeia Direction
So, after reading through these comments, it seems that there was a lot of backlash about these changes, and previous. I'm no 2010 cass veteran, but I've played her here and there. When I first saw cass, my immediate thought was Medusa. When I played her kit, I was like "wow! twin fang spam is op and cool!" but then I read her lore (crazy right, who does that now), and the twin fang to me just doesn't seem to fit. She was a powerful mage who got bit by a snake and turned into what she is now. The poisons are cool, I love her q and w. I bully people with them all the time. But her twin fang is just...It's too broken. Currently, her E (if procced on posions, which is not hard to do on minions), restores more mana than an annie Q and has a lower CD. Sure, landing poisons is the key to making her E viable, but it's not that hard. Throw a W when someone is minion farming or a Q, and bam they're dead. While I enjoy my 3 shot champions from time-to-time, I feel like there needs to be more risk involved to compensate for her reward. Her ult is just weird, in my opinion. The shape of it is like a bigger annie W, and if they turn away they get slowed. While that's a cool and unique feature, I feel like something's wrong when I can just literally turn my character to make a cool ult into a shrug it off. Like, where's the counterplay there? Or any form of skill? I have to just click to turn and bam Cass is useless. Slows are nice, but it doesn't even give a poison dot, so your ult is now useless. I feel like people should be afraid of Cass for the right reasons. Not because I can mash e. But that's just my opinion. {{champion:69}}

What if for the Targon event, instead of having two teams you have 3...RedvBluevPurple...Just a thought...

I personally love the reworks coming to her kit, but I have a question. In regards to her first upgrade of her passive, her twin fang heal feels really weak, and kind of a not worth upgrade. Do you plan on either swapping it out for something else? Or buffing it to be more...Useful?

Similarities: Left home at a young age to join another Suffer from regret/guilt Disconnect themselves emotionally Feel wronged by their parent figure in some way (or wronged them) Associate negative emotions with parental figures Suffer from sadness and rage Had good intentions that led to bad consequences Use League as a way to make things right If they're to release a new champion, based on the art done for the Deadeye, I don't think he's a hired killer, or some vengeance seeker like Kalista. I think Deadeye is going to be some form of release. Sorta like Kindred, the spirits of death. If anything, this Deadeye is targetting those who suffer from guilt, and their negative thoughts/actions maybe are what give him power? Also, they all have the same weakness in life. They're alone. They all want something they can't have, and bury the emotions. Not only that, but all of them have lost a parental figure in their life. Garen was taken by the military, like his sister Lux. Zed killed his father figure out of rage once he was exiled from home. Sona has no memory of her parents, and her instrument killed her adopted parent. Vi grew up on the streets abandoned and has lived a life alone. They all have lost their parents either through death or some form of rejection. This champion seems heavily focused on the theme of abandonment and regret. I think honestly this is going to be some kind of emotions made manifest champion.
