Rαy (EUW)
: Please create a toggle option for SG Xayah and Rakan - their pure forms look too good to be ignored
Maybe they could do a cheaper Variant where they are good and don't get the new voice lines? Though, it seems like a lot of people don't really like the corrupted versions, I feel they are a bit unnecessary ? I liked how they handled Jinx, but this goes a bit too far? But the fancier ones would still be bought, I like both Rakans for different reasons but they kind of changed his personality in ways I don't like. Xayah is pretty much the same.
: Can we give SG Xayah and Rakan the Lunar/Solar Eclipse Leona treatment?
[But then they would probably have to give me RP for Rakan's 2 year old concept](https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/WqQecfZo-new-star-guardian-concepts-rakan-taric-xayah-taliah-nidalee)

Why does it matter? very few champions even have relationships with one, another. Honestly, it amazed me that Kai and Val even exist(ed) and were showcased so heavily. But as of now, they don't affect the gameplay. And they shouldn't. It doesnt affect gameplay, nor it should, but it is acceptive of different genders, there are over 50 sexual genders and there should be a character for each. For the transexual it could go easily as varus, someone in demacia payed to do a sex change, but in a cool way like varus was handled. Well given lux being gay, it clearly shows that not all are butch style, but butches deserve to have one like them, after all art imitates life.
I mean, sure, but most of those boil down to mentality. Unless the character says outright "I am a demisexual pangendered squirrelkin' if it looks like a human female, people are going to assume its female. There are a lot of genders and being gender inclusive is difficult. Either you have to go way out there and force it, or its so subtle you don't know one way or another. Lux has never been confirmed to be lesbian. It's grasping at straws to one sentence, which is the problem with what I stated above. Plus, it snot "all lesbians are butch" but making Vi/Zarya gay would be more "all strong, tomboyish girls are gay"

I personally don't like when they make characters like Vi lesbian because it propagates a tired stereotype. I dont think cait and vi would be generic. Just my opinion. Could be quite the romance, maybe make cait bi and make another love triangle. Lux is pretty much hinted at being homosexual when you look at her lore and the "i have a secret" thing Btw there is no transexual in the game, this is a micro agression towards transexuals, riot should make a transexual character, or rework an existing one into they as done with varus.
To each their own, I personally find it boring and again, just furthers the whole 'butch' stereotype. There is no other girl quite like Vi. It's like if Blizzard made Zarya lesbian, its the same issue I have. Big, strong, tomboy girl - obviously she's a butch, right? It feels like Riot doesn't know if Luxreal is a thing or not. how... would you go about transexual in this game? Why does it matter? very few champions even have relationships with one, another. : I just played as Yasuo mid against a Xayah mid, and I can confirm that he shits on her. Yasuo can easily dodge her trailing feathers. If you try to root him with his wall between you, the root won't land despite the feathers clearly hitting him. He windwalls her ult ezpz. And his q harass, if you land just about every tornado as I did, is easily enough to force her out of lane in 5-6 throws in early levels (easier than it sounds). I was actually zoning her out of cs. She really couldn't do anything
Exactly, Yasuo shuts down ranged, but none as hard as he shuts down Xayah. Most ranged people, all they need to do is have good positioning and aim their skillshots (if they have any) more carefully. They do damage to him, root him, etc. Yaosu gets punished for bad wall placements. Xayah has to be even more hyper aware of the wall placement, not only that, but she needs to go out of position... to get into position. Due to how wide that wall is, its nearly impossible to angle yourself in a way (if you even find the time) without making yourself vulnerable.** Most ranged champions still have their autos if they place themselves well enough. Xayah doesn't even have that. ** Xayah could just... not do spells in lane... but that doesn't matter because she is completely shut down in a teamfight, doing 0 damage. Unless she goes out of position. Which means she gets caught out. If she stays in position, her team might die around her, and she can't escape because Yasuo's wall probably ate her ult without rooting anyone, despite it hitting before it hit the wall. I'm not sure what can be done. I suppose eating the feather but not the damage would be the most fair. If she pulled a feather back for a root, the root still goes off if it hit his body before the wall. If I play Xayah, I /have/ to waste a ban on Yasuo because he counters her so hard its like she isn't even a part of the game.
: Varus new art is amazing
Varus is 2/3rds gay, isn't he? Something tells me being a murderous psychopath isn't really going to roll in the men. He isn't in a relationship. though I guess there is an orgy going on inside his body. heh. Isn't Caitlyn and Vi a bit too generic? I get the relationship but I think its boring. I personally don't like when they make characters like Vi lesbian because it propagates a tired stereotype.
: You know what the worst thing about Lunar Empress Lux is?
I don't think Kindred fits for the theme I don't think Lux does, either I still think Taliyah would have been a perfect choice.
: Hello! There's a lot to unpack here, but I'll do my best to address the points you've made in this thread. **Why was Lux selected for a Lunar Revel skin this year?** I pinged my product owner for a reply for this one, since he's more deeply involved in the selection discussions than I am myself, and I didn't want to misconstrue anything. *"From early on we decided to do Warwick and Nasus for year of the dog, with the idea of exploring good dog and ‘bad’ dog. As we developed the idea further with them being divine door guardians we coupled it with having a powerful godly princess they would be protecting to balance out the skin offering. Lux was the champion that fit the best for this fantasy and since her last skin was over a year ago we felt ok with adding her to the group for this year, and she is also an extremely popular champion in countries that celebrate Lunar New Year, so we also feel these players will appreciate having her be part of this celebration. Other champions that could have also made sense, that were less fitting on the role anyways, were not available due to having other skins already planned or in other cases having either gameplay or full re-works coming up. "* **What's the deal with the Illaoi skin?** We realized that Illaoi had waited quite some time for a skin, and felt that letting players vote for a thematic would be a great way to involve the community, as opposed to just popping a new skin on PBE. We submitted three concepts that were vastly different from each other to give everyone a variety to choose from. Granted, not everyone's favorite would be selected, and as such, not everyone would be super happy about the result, but imo, having a voice in voting is better than having us say, 'here's an Illaoi skin, kthxbai.' This project also enables us to really show what goes into creating a skin, which may shed some light on why we make choices, why things do and don't work, etc. **Okay, but there are a bunch of champions who are in desperate need of skins.** You're absolutely right. Some champions that you've named had pending reworks in 2017, such as Eve and Urgot, which made them ineligible for new skins. Swain's currently sitting on that waitlist right now. We tried to tackle some of the champion who needed love last year - Viktor, Cassiopeia, Yorick, to name a few. We have a ton planned for 2018, and I can assure you we've considered champions who haven't seen a new skin in a while. **Xayah and Rakan skins, though?** We felt that this was a no brainer for this year's Valentine's Day skins. They're *love birds*. They're an adorable couple in Runeterra, it seemed like a really good fit! This pairing of skins - Sweetheart - was one of the most suggested thematics from players for these two when they first released. **Riot's a business.** Yep, we are, but we truly do strive to be the most player focused games company in the world. I understand that we aren't perfect and that we do fall short at times - who doesn't? I'd highly encourage you (and everyone!) to continuously give us constructive feedback - both positive and negative - tell us why something does or doesn't suck, seriously. It's honestly the best way for us to know what we should keep doing and what we should do better. You aren't going to hurt our feelings, so please, be honest like you have been in this thread.

: Sometimes I question this companies business moves. They want to make the community less toxic but make these childish emotes? Did Riot really think these would serve any other purpose other than to BM and annoy the enemy? How disconnected is the company and their own game? We got these stupid emotes way before a skin owned tab and I'm absolutely furious lmao.
Honestly, I think mastery taunting is bad enough. It's usually like 'haha, you got schooled' or trolling. I never mastery taunt, I hate it and I hate people that do it, especially in a spamming way.
: Xayah and Rakan Skin Ideas
I'd honestly would like to see them getting a 'tango' skin or similar. since they talk about dancing a lot... and how their fighting is really just them dancing. Fast, flashy ... it'd fit
: Horrible Ban System Now
Eh, both have their pros and cons? The old system, two people don't get a say on who gets banned. TBH my issue with the new system is that you can have 1 less ban than before. if both teams mirror ban. I dont like that bans can be mirrored, it makes them feel worthless. But... the system has been in for a while now, how can you still expect a banning turn phase?
: No. Xayah and Rakan should be pretty similar anatomically right? They can obviously have sex. There are pretty clear nipples in Rakan's splash, implying that Xayah also has nipples/breasts, implying breastfeeding, implying livebirth. Edit: If one more person mentions the platypus... I will concede that there are a HANDFUL of mammals that lay eggs, but there are millions more who do not. Given that, I'd lean towards the possibility of live birth. Edit 2: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/community/q/vastaya-q " Do bird vastaya like Xayah and Rakan lay eggs? I’ll be struggling to get that image out of my head for a couple of days, but no, they don’t." There's your answer, OP.

: I would rather be able to afford my items, too, but not if Riot can't find a balanced way to make that happen. Right now I have to choose between affording my build or "a little bonus damage"...like WHY would I ever take STE? The hardest item to use consistently is the worst at genning gold, and genning gold is the *primary point* of **gold gen items.** Like, I don't think LoL's been balanced around enchanter supports getting their builds faster.
Well, why does that make Coin OP and SPT UP? Right now coin is the most effective gold gain item. As for enchanter supports, honestly they might be around the same items as their adcs, perhaps less. Thing is, enchanters kinda need it? Their whole purpose as a support is burst, doing damage to the enemy and killing them. If they can't do that, what are they good for? The only Enchanters that might remain are heavier CC ones like Morg, Zyra, and Lux. Ones like Brand, Vel'koz, etc would disappear. And given that those APCs aren't frequently played mid thanks to higher mobility champs over taking it, well ...
: Can we stop defending coin now?
As someone that has played support for years, I just like that I'm making enough gold to actually be able to build items and keep up with the rest of the team. I suppose that's why I don't really want to see coin nerfs? A lot of people complain about it but it feels a lot of those same people don't even play support. That said, the gold gain from Coin is much better than from Spell theif and Relic shield, provided you play that little mini-game of course.
: Static shiv is way better for ADC that Luden Echo is for Mages.
Probably because, by and large, AP generally scales harder. One AP for a mage, is likely 2-3 AD for a AD. It's why I hate Veigar's AP stacking ability. I don't think its the pure damage that made Shiv stronger, its how it hits every target in a small area, where Ludens only hits 3. And those three things it hits, I don't think even prioritizes champions.
: Isn't killing 10-30 more minions a matter of skill?
Not really? ADCs can get 30 more minions than a support, a tank a jungler, and more mages easily. A Yasuo with shiv can wipe a whole wave with 1 Q - another champion might only be able to one shot one minion at a time depending on who you are playing. That isn't factoring in backs and ganks. Junglers in general gank more now than they did before - but if they have the ganking jungler and YOU don't what can you do? You can die, you can try to win the 2v1 (some champs can), you can be forced under tower and - depending on how well you can farm under tower - have the tower steal a lot of your farm? But being ganked a lot isn't a testament to your skill or lack their of, unless is a retaliation for you winning your lane.
: My biggest wish for season 8: a less impactful early game
I said it before, and I'll say it again: this game has lost a lot of its interest because the games have gotten so short. It used to be a 40 minute game was average, and by then everyone, aside maybe the supports, would be full level, and nearing build if they weren't there already. This was fun, entertaining, where one good - or bad - team fight won a game. it was down to skill and teamwork, because everyone had their items. It was fun to watch, because you could see skill, outplays. One lane doing poorly didn't matter as much, because your team could bring them back up. One lane doing well wasn't an instant win. They either need to make gold easier to get, or items cheaper if they really want these shorter games. A 2-3 item Draven 2 shotting an underfed Jinx that's struggling to finish her first item is not entertaining to watch, nor is it entertaining to play. They also need to make it so minions/champions give more exp, maybe more exp for baron/rift/dragon/towers, too. But the fact of the matter is, League was NEVER meant to be so short. It just doesn't doesn't work for it with the way its coded. It's trying to be more akin to Hots, which are short games that are around 20 minutes or less. 15 minutes games or less often happen because one team isn't team fighting or doing objectives well. The thing with hots, is that they implement a lot into the game where it doesn't suffer from being short. 1: There is no shop. Aside level, everyone is at the same power damage wise. 2: The exp is shared across everyone. If you have a 15/1 Illidan or a Ragnaros with 15k exp soaked, that exp contributes to everyone. 3: Kills don't matter as much as the objectives and team fights do. 4: Towers, keeps, and forts give you a massive exp boost. Kills don't. In short, a split pushing Nasus would contribute to his whole team more than he would currently. 5: In 20 minutes, usually both teams are at, or close to level 21. in 20 minutes of league, unless you are fed, you could be around level 12-14. 16 if you are a solo laner. 6: A team fight wins the game, skill wins the game, because there is no shop, because everyone can easily be level 21, its less likely to have steamrolls. The games don't feel short because everyone should be where they should be and when they should be. Hots was made to be short, league was not. Stop trying to be like hots. There isn't much league can do to have the same flavour as hots, Unless, again, they remove the shop or make the items so easy to get that its down to skill, not who killed 10-30 more minions. {{sticker:sg-ezreal}}

: Why, just Why man.
I think what's worse is blocking Xayah's passive. I've positioned myself to hit him before the windwall, but if the feather goes through, it gets eaten and since it doesn't land, it deals no damage. Its the only projectile that can hit him but effectively deal no damage.

: Hi, thank you for the response. My idea of in terms of balancing the passives was that, both of the passives scale slowly into the game and if this needed to be nerfed in some way I have also given the thought of having to buy or possibly earn any of the bow's in a certain way. I still try to get some different ideas or try to look at this kit from a different perspective to make sure that this is as balanced and fun as it can be. But to answer your question the passive item get's placed in the inventory meaning it will permanently take up 1 slot and can't be sold, I made a mistake at the end where I showed some example builds where I forgot that only 5 items can be bought.
A slowly scaling item does sound interesting. Viktor buys several items as he levels, ending up with one of the highest AP item in the game. A scaling item would be slightly difficult. It cant be too expensive because it would have to be his first item, but it cant be too cheap or it'd be extremely cost effective. That said, the pen item sounds like he could compete with a late game Vayne more easily - late game Vayne has so few counters and counterplay its rediculous. (Rip countering Vayne with Quinn) I think that he should be able to switch out between them depending on how the game goes, would be my only thing. I dislike Kayn for his transformation permanence as-is, and I don't want such a trait to become common. All in all - I do like that he gets a bit stronger with these ideas, I jsut hope it isn't a balancing nightmare. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}

: My Varus Rework Idea
The new passive is interesting. The pen/life steal might be a bit too much for a passive... though... would it take an item slot, I imagine it must. In which case, probably fine. Though maybe the item could also have his W old passive. I like the W, gives him a more reliable steroid. I think the rest of his kit in live is fine, though.

Well Jayce just had high mana costs so he went for it to actually cast. A combination of people getting better at him as well as reduction to his mana costs and he said adios to the one item holding him back from an actual mid-game powerspike.
It's important to note that when jayce was released, this item was much stronger. They nerfed it because too many people bought it. It indirectly nerfed jayce (at the time) and he fell out of top lane for a while. But then, again, like you said, people started to figure him out and they nerfed his mana costs.
: He's sitting at a 45-47% winrate even after those Q buffs.
Possibly in part due to his lower play rate atm, resulting in mostly his mains that know him well to play him and preform well with. He just can't compete with the attack speed stacking critical adcs as well atm. They do more with one auto than he does with his kit, but he doesn't have a typical adc build, nor does he benefit from one. Ezreal was so strong for so long, this is the first season in a long time where he has been side - lined.
FireDrizzle (EUNE)
: Don't buff Ezreal.
If an item is only viable on one champion, than that item either needs to be overhauled or removed. Lots of champions used to build it, such as Jayce and a couple others. Ezreal could use some buffs, though. He's in a bad place with the current meta of burstier ADCs that do more damage early (and late) than he does, and simply clear minions better and faster. Right now Ez is just kind of average. This middle of the road champion while not bad just... isn't good right now. AP Ez feels more rewarding, more of his abilities actually do damage.
Rioter Comments
: "It's not my job to win your lane"
I honestly hate junglers that duo with someone because most of the time, all the ganks go to that lane in particular, and they never gank the other two lanes. Its worse since their junglers do, get those laners some kills, and then in a giant wombo, go to the camped lane and make their 2/0/0 friend go 2/5/0 until all three lanes have exposed inhibitors.
: For the love of...: COIN IS UNHEALTHY FOR THE GAME RN
Except, even with this item, unless you pull full support items (which are relatively cheap) and not say, 'support' mage with an APC build, you might have 1-2 completely items compared with the midlander who would have 3-4 at that point. I use this item all the time, it generates more gold than the others, yes, since it relies less on hitting stuff - but if you were the optimize on the stacks of the other two immediately when they were up, the gain is comparable, if not more. This item is not overstacked.
: Why can't I honor a player after the the prompt in the post-game lobby?
I think it should show some sort of stat like overwatch/heroes of the storm. Top damage/healing/damage mitigation/assists/ towers taken, something along those lines. As of now, you pay attention to whoever the game kept calling legendary, but they may dominate early and fall off late, or got that way from last hitting kills when someone else did the brunt of the damage.

He needs a full new model, there is a reason why he keeps getting new skins with new animations/models
: What would your ideal Ezreal Rework look like?
I like the idea of Ez's W executing minions, I also like the idea of his teleport increasing his power ... but I feel like empowering his Q would make more sense. I don't know if I like the 6 stacks thing, though if his abilities apply it, it probably wont be so bad.
: PS ; Having a level 7 mastery doesn't really mean i am master of this champ.
I understand when people aren't a master. But I can't forgive a 3/14 m7 zed.
: What's with Ez's terrible win rate?
I feel like Ez doesn't have the early game clear that the higher picked ADCs have. He isn't bad, but incredibly spell and skill shot based. His w is near useless if he goes AD, and it doesn't help him clear minions if he goes AP. His ult doesn't do much since it loses power with every enemy hit and seems like it scales better with AP. His E as well. He needs some better AD scales on all his other base abilities.

: Rito pls buff boots
I want boots to have their own slots like wards to free up a space :/
: Baron should receive a gameplay update
I don't like the idea of wards expiring near baron pit faster, I'm already the only one that seems to bother putting wards there ( even if I'm not the support) I agree people shouldn't be able to solo him (exceptions being urf.) It should be more akin to vile maw/ xerath from ascension. maybe it'll stop my teammates from starting barons 5 seconds before the obvious teamfight will happen - causing a lot of free damage to all our squishies.... nah :|
: When will riot realize that having short games IS NOT FUN
My favourite games are the games where everyone is max level, full build, and it is down to teamfights. With these shorter games, it feels 1/100 chance of happening. Perhaps less. they need to either make the games longer or make the levels/gold gain faster, and/or items cheaper. watching a Draven with 2-3 items one shot an underfed jinx that is struggling to finish her first item isn't fun to play nor is it interesting to watch.
: Why are blast plants so hard to hit
Imo I think it should be removed. That thing has killed me more than its saved me via my teammates having self preservation and launching me back into the enemies.
: I actually have no problems with the 3 mission chains that were purchasable - that was understandable and fine by me. What I _DID_ have a problem with was purchasable _daily missions_. The standard for daily missions has been set for years now, and that standard is that they're free, they give you currency at an incredibly slow pace, but eventually you can get a little something for your dedication. Locking them behind a paywall is a shit thing to do, because daily missions on a limited event means that the purchase will lose value every single day you don't buy it. It's a terrible business model, and I'm not sure why Riot did it.
This is exactly what I take issue with, as well. For free you can get a total of 200 tickets. That's it. Not even enough to get one of everything. Dailies should be free. Missions? Sure, charge for those. But dailies is so pay to win and not to mention, rediculously expensive. I'm eager for the star guardian event, but I'm worried that it's going to be just as pay to win as this one, I'm hoping enough people refused to buy the missions/dailies compared with the other buy this to get an edge in rewards that were in the previous events to show that riot that this practise is a failure. It's like buying armor and weapons in games, and having them 10x more powerful than free to play end game gear.

I suppose you have a point, but none of those champions would have gotten SG if I were in charge of skins. (Aside from Ahri, but even then imo they didn't quite pull it off.)
: i really love this, and i especially love Taliyah's design and LOVE the addition of the pet being a deer familiar since it matches her story and stuff ;A; <3 the only thing is, i think she's need a different hairstyle, perhaps something like upward thick buns/pigtails? twin braids? bangs? idk i love new hairstyles on skins tho xD overall these are really nice ;A; and Taliyah needs a new skin considering she only has her release one... she's also 16 and a good personality to be a star guardian, she should be the next Legendary skin star guardian tbh
I did think about a new hairstyle, but wasn't able to think of one. Jinx and poppy have the same hair, though modeled a bit differently. I could try pigtails, could be cute on her. I'm not sure if a legendary star guardian is necessary. They did change her lines a little for freljord (ice it is) so maybe they could do something akin to that. Throw another star, stardust it is, and so on.

: Nooo... Xayah's familair was the awesome one. Q_Q You know, saying Kayn, he actually could work really well. Rhaast could even be his familiar.
Xayah ' s pet seems to get mixed reviews. Kayn feels more of an enemy to me, tbh. Turning into a blood thirsty assassin or a power hungry demon. If he didn't transform his body, and only his weapon ala Jayce, maybe he could work better. Though, he could be interesting.
