I actually checked if this was from NA. Yup, you find huge skill discrepancy in the same rank tier in NA server, from silver to master. It's said to be totally different in KR server. Skill difference across tiers is said to be crystal clear there.

Just keep in mind that since the new support item does not show up in the 9.23 stats (as you don't build the final form), so it is comparing 5th item on 9.22 against 4th item on 9.23. So 9.23 fifth item is where some previous item (like boots) is replaced with a better one in ultra late game. To list a few: {{champion:143}} down from 39 minutes to 36 minutes {{champion:40}} down from 36 minutes to 34 minutes {{champion:111}} down from 38 minutes to 36 minutes {{champion:412}} down from 37 minutes to 35 minutes {{champion:117}} down from 37 minutes to 34 minutes {{champion:44}} down from 39 minutes to 36 minutes {{champion:25}} down from 37 minutes to 35 minutes {{champion:235}} down from 36 minutes to 34 minutes {{champion:555}} down from 32 minutes to 30 minutes Even {{champion:350}} who's win rate tanked hard going from 9.22 to 9.23 is down from 34 minutes to 32 minutes These are the average timings for tier 3 sightstone stand in item + upgraded boot + 4 other items. 9.22 times are on the left and 9.23 are on the right. The fact that supports are more capable than ever at getting their items is why Riot will likely not be buffing support income anytime soon. At best they will change it is a way that make people feel better without actually changing anything.

At best they will change it is a way that make people feel better without actually changing anything. You are comparing those who upgraded their support item before their 6th item in 9.22 to players who don't have to upgrade their support item in 9.23/9.24. By that you count an extra ~1400 in your comparison--and by not needing a whooping extra 1.4k gold, support players can only grab their final item 2 min earlier?? Is that how you define "more capable at getting items"? Meanwhile the support item (take frostfang's final form) gives you raw stat worth of: Shard of True Ice : 1705 G Eye of the Watchers: 1811 G As someone has pointed out, it's great to look at the statistics (and thank you) for understanding how the impact of a support role is actually getting nerfed/hurt by the change. So is the game experience for support players as you see all the complaints around the change.

It was pretty simple feed tristana and the rest were for cc/heal/damage. If you swapped out tristana for zigs or someone else who can take turrets super fast and minion waves i'm sure it would work just as fast if not better. Cyrato (OCE)
: Is ranked more or less toxic than normals (in your opinion/experience)?
Recently climbed to plat 4. Have seen inting in both ranked and norms, toxic people the same. However, I am surprised at this middle elo, norms are often filled with players who are either: 1) elo boosted and were totally bad and lost lanes completely to real plat/diamond opponents 2) casual players who don't care about ranks and play quite casually, of course 3) playing with three other friends Skill level? Mostly less competitive than players in ranked games. Toxicity? Absolutely equal if not even worse--they give up more easily and like to flame teammates for having a bad game, and such negative behavior is often used to persuade a faster forfeit. ALSO have been bullied by premade team of 4 during pre-game selection phase. When some players are playing with friends, they watch less for their manner. Yet, for norms you can totally go casual -- you don't get as tilted as losing a ranked game, even there could be players flaming around.

: Serious Question about Clash involving Smurfing. (Riot Please Answer) OR Community
I have posted similar question, which has been unfortunately voted down and not causing much attention. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/FPQefXLT-clash-players-are-playing-in-their-smurfs-should-it-be-punished Basically from the articles it is clear that Riot is fairly lenient in the grey area (keep in mind the base line is no smurfing 2 divisions under your main account, and/or not EXTREMELY hurting the game experience). OP did not really mention whether the accounts were played by others, but Riot doesn't care. Nor other players care; clash will soon be a norm that happens once every two weeks, and you want to show it on your main account for most people. Hope this helps.

: I didn't try to play clash, so I'm not sure what the process was, but didn't the last 2 tests require linking a phone number? Somehow I thought I read that the phone number had to be linked to a single account and there was a 'cooldown' period if the player wanted to switch accounts for clash.

Yes, you must link a phone number. Yes, you can switch accounts every 6 months. But you can still be smurfing. They are separate things. Meanwhile Riot did not explain how they will detect and punish smurf behavior--as you can see in the article, alts are not all prohibited and could bypass the smurf detection. That's the discussion.

I have questions on tier grouping as well. Myself falling to tier 4 seems unfair to others, but my solo rank has been silver for years--maybe that's why as a plat 4 I'm still tier 4? The issue is, when my tier is supposed to be adjusted quickly upwards after a 3-0 win last night, it did not. I'm still in tier 4. Most stable player last night, but I guess the performance wasn't taken into account for a quick tier correction. However, maybe it's intentional and functioning correctly, because from what I saw last night plat/gold team was grouped with plat/gold. In addition, the team I was on for sub last night added their diamond ad player for tonight's clash, but lost to gold players in the final.

: I suspect that if someone is playing on an account that is "new" to circumvent the scouting process that would be considered an improper use of a smurf. However, if you have someone that mains two different roles on two different accounts, there is nothing prohibiting them from playing any role on any account. As one example, my team had one player who had a top champ of thresh and myself who had a top champ of kindred - he wasn't playing support and I wasn't playing jungle. In fact, I was playing a role that none of my top champs happened to be - simply because that's where i fit within the team. There's also nothing you can do to confirm their roles before the game - so they could've either planned it intentionally or they could've role swapped in champ select when you banned out their top champs - and that second thing is certainly going to be allowed.

: Account Banned
I am merely a normal League player, and I looked at OP's match history. Here is what I discovered: 1) OP's account had 4 games in a row 4 days ago (12/3/19 **6 AM - 7 AM** Central Time), three of which were played with 2 other players: "human" and "virtuous". The other two accounts** are still actively playing together** since Dec 3th. Yet their schedule has been shifted to normal time (12pm-2am CT). Champions used in the 4 games played (in chronological order): **(ranked)** Yasuo, (normal, group with the other 2 players) **Xerath**, **Yasuo**, Jinx 2) Within those 3 games, OP's account used Xerath (scriptor's main) in support role. Xerath's team lost, but he attained a high damage and ACE. 12k damage as Xerath in 15 minutes sounds okay to me, not too suspicious given the average elo of that game. ** Is Xerath scripting the reason for the ban?** I do not know, but it is the most likely reason I could come up with. **Any thoughts?** 3) Regarding the play pattern: OP mains jg positions and has not use Yasuo in ranked game since Season 6 (bear in mind it's been played in Season 5 with low overall winrate). What about Jinx? For the past three seasons, OP's secondary choice for rank is the marksman role. OP usually play (by CT) in the afternoons and nights for the last month, but I did find OP played in the afternoons of weekdays (12/3 is a Tuesday), and on Aug 30th he has played** Jinx** and Udyr **between 5 AM--7 AM CT**. In the summer OP has been playing ranked games crazily, like non-stop in the early morning (12AM-3AM) or afternoons. 4) Regarding playing normal games: OP plays normal games with friends (teammates who are the same from game to game). From OP's match history since October, I find all normal games were played with **two(2)** other players, although there were multiple batches. The question here is: did OP play the 4 games by himself?

: Toxic teammates
It is not common, and I'm surprised by the conclusion that those players are simply toxic/trolling. In my ranked game experience, 90% of time teammates do want to win. I understand your frustration of intended pick getting banned, but there could be a reason why your planned pick gets banned frequently. Intended picks serve as a way to communicate, and there are people who truly feel the pain to have certain champion on their team, or played by certain players. One time I checked my teammates' status and the top laner decided to go Garen with 14% winrate with 30+ games. I dodged, but I can understand those who decided to ban Garen for a win. Meanwhile, I believe players who ban teammates' intended picks are not trolling. They simply don't want that champion on their team. They want to secure a win and/or have good game experience. It is not pleasant to have a support planning to play Tryndamere. Respect is mutual: when I expect my teammates to respect me by showing my intended pick, I am also respecting their decisions. Have you tried to communicate with them when showing an intended pick which a lot of players won't like? With a _more_ positive attitude you will (hopefully) move onto a rank where even the most exotic picks won't surprise your teammates. If moving around the rank ladder was not an option, I would suggest you not show your intended pick and see if anything changes. After all, most players play ranked games seriously--starting form a decent rank.

At least give new players somewhere to practice their skills and get familiar with the game, with matching to the real experienced players. I've been leveling my alt in COOP vs AI intermediate. I have been a newbie, so I know and am willing to help new players with my best effort. Honor 5 tells all. Sadly, it is almost impossible for them to match with some experienced players who DO care about them, if they aren't playing with their friends. Probably this can be the incentive to cut down EVEN MORE cost on marketing for you Riot. I'm not joking. Play an intermediate game VS AI and you will know what I am saying--the farming bots troll EVERY LANE by following a random teammate every a few minutes. New players playing by themsevles? {{sticker:sg-miss-fortune}} Old players are getting old. They don't play forever.
: robots in bot games
I'm encountering the same issue on my alt account. Essentially Riot took down Twisted Treeline so all the script-farming bots are coming to the SR COOP vs. AI games. This is really a blessing to the new players. Riot, save some of your marketing cost before you make it a game where new players can stay.

Riot's strategy of solving problems: The bug on interaction of Caitlyn's passive and static shiv interaction may lead to killing herself --> hardcode to leave herself 1 HP Too many bots in Twisted Treeline --> delete the mode {{sticker:sg-miss-fortune}}
: Hi, I think you are the one being misled. If you check his op.gg, it will show you that he has in fact played over 20 games of twisted treeline over the past 4 months, and that is actually the only thing he has played for the past 4 months.
Exactly, and Mobalytics does not give information on TT / ARAM anyways.
: So I am totally on board with you, I'm bummed TT is leaving. At the same time though, you really shouldn't be misleading with this kind of thing. According to Mobalytics you have only played 10 games of Twisted Treeline over the last 6 months, compared to the 60 games of ARAM over the same time period. You also didn't play a single game of Twisted Treeline from 6 months ago to at least 8 months ago, just nothing but ARAM (I am an ARAM lover as well). I am just as bummed about Twisted Treeline being removed, but let's be honest, yes?
I'm sorry, but how do you find TT / ARAM history on Mobalytics? To me it seems not viable.
