: I read through that whole thing and I think they were being very human and open with you. It has always been a rule in online games that they cannot tell you how exploits are discovered because it would allow them to more easily be circumvented. I guarantee you that they do not ban accounts willy nilly and they take a lot more time than some companies to make sure their decisions are as accurate as possible. At this point I would suggest you take some time off from league, give some single player games a try. http://store.steampowered.com/app/698780/agecheck This is an amazing game that came out recently on steam and it is free as well. Enjoy some time off from league and come back in a few weeks and give it a fresh start and see if you still enjoy it.

That's completely the opposite of being open. It's not about how they are discovered. I asked WHAT was discovered, and what the ban was for. If I had actually cheated or whatnot, maybe I wouldn't care so much since I knew what I was doing, but since I didn't, I am left completely in the dark. How can we know if their anti-cheat system is actually doing what its supposed to be doing? What if other players are getting these bans without using 3rd party programs? I've read some other posts that indicate the possibility. There are such things as false positives, and we could be potential outliers, but I can't dispute them because 1) They aren't willing to spend a couple minutes to reinvestigate 2) I don't know what the positive was for in the first place, so I can't offer my own feedback Using scripts to avoid attacks or whatever shows very differently from automated bots that farm IP who follow standard repetitive behavior. They could easily say "You were using aim scripts in such and such game" or "You were caught IP/bot Farming for this (these) games". Unless they thought I was using multiple programs testing to see which ones were caught or not, it doesn't divulge that much by explaining which games and what a ban would be for. If I was actively trying to expose their weaknesses and test scripts and exploits, why in God's name would I use my main account to test it? I would use a fresh level 1 account with made up emails and just test it until the code I was working on wasn't caught by their system. It wouldn't make sense for me to try testing stuff on my main where I have significant investments. This is what I mean no human, case by case basis. We are all lumped into one automation, and the Rioter cust. support guy has no power or authority to do anything about it. That, or Cammy just didn't care. Other game customer supports will often offer the chance to re-look if you can provide a compelling argument. Here, you can't provide one because you don't have anything to argue against.

You didn't even think to change your password or anything? This seems incredibly odd, unless you already knew you were sharing an account with someone.

This was as I was looking up the lolking after the ban (yesterday) and speaking with the rep. The games were from a couple weeks ago. I wasn't 100% if I had or hadn't played, but after I looked at the other 4-5 matches, it became pretty clear it was compromised.
