So....... Despite all the talk of cloud drake being useless you still have not balanced the dragons??? I mean I avocate that cloud drake isn't completely usless, I still agree it has nowhere near as close of an impact as the other drakes do. We really need you to adjust the power levels to be more inline so RNG doesn't make teams feel they lost because of a usless drake pull.

I really miss Solo Q, Dynamic Q has its perks but is no where the same. I wish riot would of kept Solo Q and just replaced ranked 5s with Dynamic Q. It feels totally unbalanced to play in a game where you are unsure if your going against an organized team or randoms. I can't tell you how many times i have played solo and been in a 4 man queue or against a 5 man team and gotten stomped due to team coordination.

I will seriously miss her old kit in general, I mean sure she really needed a rework, but for those of us who put hours upon hours of work into her its feels like we all get a blow to the gut seeing our beloved poppy leave us and the work we put in to making her actually work squashed. Tho I gotta say I approve of this new poppy, there is some really cool shit. Like having the ranged shield bash will really help in lane phase.

100% agree and I am glad we have time to evaluate this issue. What concerns me the most is the interaction with Harold. Not to mention corrupting any chance for wave management. What makes league such a good game is the complexity. One of the major factors to this is minions, people study minion behaviour and how to manipulate it it to allow a lane to work for you. If you add this to the game you will essentially create a unstoppable minion wave with little to no effort. Just get their towers, zone them off exp, kill them and proxy farm. Etc... It makes a very stale and a abusable game style that will literally be about taking out a single lane then focusing another. Essentially toplane will be become botlane. This change is unhealthy and unwarranted, minions are fantastic the way they are. Finally with the tower resistance removed, towers will be shredded super fast and nothing will stop a siege comp who can out poke and Dive you. #savethewaves #savethelanes

IMHO riot, please restore tower resistance, do not mess with minions. I know you wanna make things new and different but when you mess with the foundation of your game you will ultimately destroy it. #savethelanes #savethewaves. One last thing if you want to build this into a better long lasting game keep the foundation from season 5 it was perfect I am utterly baffled you wanted to mess with it so much.

Step 1 pick MF + siege comp Step 2 lane swap out of vision Step 3 Four man dive top take Harold. Return to lane with buff proceed to win game. No way to contest due to how fast you can kill towers with 0 resistance. (MF love tap 50% DMG to towers) all this u can do on current patch I guarantee if not a 15-20min Vic you will have an insane adv. now... Imagine new creeps with this idea. I could essentially end in 10 mins or less depending on comp.

Regarding mf, I've read in the PBE forums that people who tested her out say she is unable to deal damage effectively due to the removal of impure shots and the reliance of love tap. As I've seen from patch notes her AD and AD per level been squashed. To quote a summoner from PBE forum it is the same as chogaths level 1 damage at level 18. What is going to be done about this? Also what is interaction with IE and her ult?

: The difficulty meter for a champion strikes me as almost exclusively for sub-level 20 players. It's more a representation of how complex the champion can be if you've don't know anything about it. Look at Varus (difficulty 2) compared to Bard (difficulty 9). Varus is pretty straight forward even if you're unfamiliar to the game. He's an archer, he can charge up to fire his arrow farther, or shoot off a volley that goes over people. Archery things. Whereas Bard is ... Bard. Yasuo has a high difficulty rating to serve as a warning to new players. To a League veteran - who understands what his abilities mean just by glancing at them - he's not complex. But to someone who has only been playing for a short time I can only imagine what it must be like trying to figure out why you can't dash to that person when you could a few second ago, or why a tornado came out of your blade this time but not last time, or why you can't use your super-move even though the enemy is Right There. Perhaps ironically, his Wind Wall is the most intuitive thing about him.
Bard should be a 10/10, 9 is just underwhelming low lol. Bard mechanics are really hard for most people in bronze/silver/gold, takes dedication to learn him lol

I have to say you did a good break down of the reason this style will fail. I think they just needed to rework the ranked 5 system instead of taking it away completely in replace of this odd ball system. Tho to be honest, this is a hard issue to work around, I think they shouldn't change the queue system only tweek the match making algorithms. I agree tho with riot and esports that the ranked 5 system is flawed, and should be reworked, but fusing it with solo q.... is not the answer.

I gotta say, I am scared. These changes feel extreme... But I guess its what you gotta do if you want to keep a game like league alive. What scares me the most is this 3rd objective your proposing. I think that it will only cause grief, the champions you pick for top-lane usually want to be on an island anyways, and most of the time they bring teleport to ensure they can make it to dragon fights or split. This new change might really fuck with the dynamics of things.

I want to believe in the miracle run, the true cinderella story. Hai's 6 step process, WORLD DOMINATION. But I think if they are to make it out of the group stage they would place #2, Where Fanatic will sit at the top. I know iG is looking superstrong, but I gotta believe in the west. Its a matter of pride at this point CLG cannot be the only NA team and I refuse to see no EU Team make it past group stage (That being said I think OG will show up big in group D) I think we all need to send our energy to C9 so Hai can channel that spirit bomb and make it powerful enough to take out the Korean/Chinese tyrants!
: Bard Heal Shrines are Poor After Laning Phase
Honestly, I think bards shrines needs to be Seriously fixed. I think the best use i have had with these shrines is hiding them in my teams jungle so that the jungler can save pots and any enemy walking over them will pop it giving position away. But during team fights hes shrines become useless because like u said u will never be able to have them be able to grow for there duration and heal effectively.

Because people who wanna practice skirmishing , will do so in arams. Its the best way to practice mechanical skills and team fight chaos. Sometimes we will unwind and go nuts but overall best thing to do in arams is treat it like an actual fight. Learn how to trade position and manage. Its very good tool for getting better if treated as such.
: Kayle's & Tryndamere's ult can still be countered by hard CC, as in stunning/snaring them during their ult making them waste more time in using it defensively instead of offensively, whereas all Ekko need is one click to teleport/heal/deal a Leblanc's W damage.
*Cough* Yeah tryns can but Kayles is immune to any CC or DMG period.

Well I also wanna know this, I really think poppy is an amazing champion and its the next one on the list of reworks. Honestly riot better be VERY careful with this one, cause despite the quietness of the community poppy is one of the most loved champions in the game. She is played all the way up to challenger level, just she rarely seen competitive. I really am so scared for this rework and I would like some teaser information to help put my mind at ease. She is one of my main champions and I think she does need some sort of buff, but her kit is actually not that bad just she has a hard time gap closing against CC Champions.

Well, I am not sure if you have played low levels lately but good luck finding a game. Ques are @ 10 minutes + and the levels are scattered all over the place. Meaning there isnt enough players in one bracket to fill an entire elo, so they have to borrow from other elos to fill the gap. You want to know how games die out? The players who play have played the game for a while love it but the players trying to get into the game don't, they get bored and go to a different game. The only thing holding league of legends together is Esports and the current population of gamers who have already been through this process and been around for a while. But those players will eventually leave, and when some of them leave we expect new players to take there place no? Well, that is where the fear is held. Without new players entering the scene and older players leaving the numbers will start to decline. This is the case in any population, if no birth the population will decline rapidly. What needs to be done is a revision to how the game operates at the lower levels, to invigorate young new blood to the scene and to get players to learn the valuable skills they will need once they reach 30 to then enter ranked at a competent level. We don't want new players to have a terrible experience, we want them to have a experience which helps them grow and become competent enough to play at the level which is expected of them at 30. Imagine, Teir 1 and 2 runes eliminated and the tier 3 rune prices adjusted to become relatively affordable. Then suddenly players at level 10 would be able to play champions with runes which would compensate for not having any masteries. Thus introducing at an earlier stage the concept of what runes can give and how they can change their game play. Where as Teir 1 and Teir 2 runes become garbage later on and most new players feel horrible for wasting all that IP, where they would of been able to afford the champion they wanted earlier and not of had to waste it in runes. This doesn't mean I want them to remove the slot progression just adjust the runes appropriately to make the game more friendly. Honestly everything we say is just suggestions and here say, riot doesn't have to follow it. The thing is, if riot wants to take this seriously they need to Re-Vamp the intro system to league. It is a smart business move and would increase the likelihood that the game will last for a much longer period of time. Whatever they choose to do will most likely be a result from fan suggestions and in house debating on what is reasonable for new players. So its important that everyone voice their opinion on this matter and make sure riot knows that we care about the future of this game.

This is well thought out tho what I am most drawn towards is the Unlocking Rune Pages, and removal of Teir 1 and 2 runes (Which every player I am sure can attest to the fact that they have gotten these runes @ one point during there leveling up to 30 and INSTANTLY regretted purchasing them once they arrived at the Plato).

Cause the low elo supports are most likely still learning or are unable to understand the flow of the game. Cause a good support knows how to set up the plays and get his crappy ass team fed so that they CAN carry a game. Only consistently good supports will climb the ladder. It is by far the hardest role to carry as for you have to rally a team together and direct them with vision and advice, which in its self is the hardest thing to do because NA is the most toxic region in the world.
: I just really want the grievous wounds back. It's near impossible to win trades anymore without it. I mean this is coming from someone who used to run her as a solo lane in bot lane and let one of my friends screw around as a second jungler or double mid or something random. I still won lanes doing this and it was quite frequently. She needed to maintain her old kit but her passive needed more use late game and her ult needed slightly higher scaling for AD MF. Her Q already poked for a ton before and it was even more reliable even though it was more RNG (people moving out of it didn't make it get all wonky and stop half way through the animation). Increasing her Q damage on farming was a bad decision in my opinion especially because she is supposed to be a lane bully. Late game with about 400 AD her ult does barely even 1k damage while sitting there holding herself down and it being easily stopped/sidestepped. Losing grievous for getting strut did nothing to solve her problems and in fact gutted her biggest role. Which was killing other ADCs and shutting down healing comps while being one of the only AD champs that could. I personally loved MF before the rework. Post rework she just feels like another generic ADC the only thing that remains is her passive and ult to make her stand out.
I disagree with the point you are making towards her Q and trading, I believe her Q is in a good spot right now as it allows for some beautiful double kills. Also in regards to trading, her Q is able to really chunk out people without requiring to run up and AA Q or AA Q AA people. She is now able to stay at a good range and trade efficiently without risking over extending, the dream of any ADC is to be able to trade and farm simultaneously which is what MF has been given. The PROBLEM which we are discussing is as you mentioned, the fact that her ult is useless at the moment and needs to be addressed by riot. (If anyone from riot has been reading this thread at all please let us know if u have any plans to work on addressing her ult)

I totally agree with the changes to her movement passive, I think its really important. I really also enjoy that W resets your strut and allowing you to escape better. I just think they removed what made MF's W so useful to her kit, now its only used as an escape or chase mechanism. Which in all respects is good, but is missing the point to why MF is not played in the competitive scene. Sure you buffed her escapes but you removed her main source of damage in team fights, how often are you going to kill someone with your Q and get it to proc onto someone else? almost never. So in team fights, you are reduced to this vayne style adc who can only focus the immediate dangers because if you go anywhere in the fight you will get blown up immediately. Due to the fact that i stated in my earlier comment, her ult without the full stacks of her W passive does no DMG, and is as you stated meh. These are possible solutions which I have been mulling over: A) Decrease the attack speed granted by W but allow full stacks of W passive when activated. B) Allow her ult to scale off her current attackspeed increasing the amount of bullets being fired thus stacking quicker during the ult. C) Allow her ult to proc On hit effects (Example Frozen mallet) I personally think B would be the best option, and would require less changes, and makes the most sense.

Actually a lvl 3 WW is able to gank a lane effectively if the team has CC, it is called "applying pressure" which allows the lane to know that you are around and will intervene if you guys do something stupid.

Additional changes will follow if needed (buffs or nerfs, though I'd be very surprised if this overnerfed him) in the next regular patch (5.17).
I appreciate a hotfix nerf for skarner, but I think the biggest issue is how much skarner gets for being in his crystal area. Which are placed at all major and minor jungle objectives. To have a high win rate which he has is much more then just a minor stat issue, he has way to much control over objectives, I think this should be the focus of the balancing.

They only have to nerf the crystals, they give skarner way to much of an adv. It makes him become 1.5 of a champion and its stupid. The fact that the crystals are located right at baron and dragon are why he has such a commanding lead in winrates due to the fact that securing this crystal ensure u can easily win any fight, thus control objectives.

What is really sad is tank ekko has been killed by riot. They refused to have ekko become the tanky jungler who dominates and has a real role in the game. Unlike how he is in 5.15 a Squish mage who does burst dmg but will die at the blink of an eye. RIP tank Ekko you were my favourite champ for a while until riot did what they usually do... Kill off good champs.

I am not sure why you feel like ranked needs team builder... TBH Most of people only use team builder to try thing's out where in draft mode its more of a game before the game. Most of the league community has already understood that you can't always get what you want and it allows us to be more understanding of each role. I think as a player what has allowed me to grow the most is the fact that I am able to play any roll moderately well, so I can bring that knowledge into the role I main. Instead of a team builder style ranked play I think you should more focus on developing an algorithm which looks at your match history and/or champs played and pairs you up with others who don't fall under the same category so you have a better chance of not having people end up in the same role. Please remember, Normals are Normals whereas ranked is for those of us who take the game more seriously. You got to be careful when you mess with something that works.

I don't know about you but these changes seem a little insane. How in the world do you imagine {{champion:82}} matching up against {{champion:21}} ? Are you going to be doing a Sion level rework on him? Changing him from a melee to a range champ? Cause otherwise he will NEVER be played. Because he will be impossible to farm without being chunked out by {{champion:21}} because he needs to walk up to minions to last hit meaning he will be in easy ranged for double up. Then Name an ADC, who he would have a good match up against. It just doesn't seem feasible.
