I'm not sure what happened either, but I got hit as Jinx with 2 MR runes by a Teemo Q, Teemo was 2 items and only 1 level ahead of me, and the Q did almost 3/4 of my health. Not really sure what I'm supposed to do there, nor when his damage skyrocketed like that.
: Honestly bro i main 4 champs, 3 of them being Maokai, braum, and tahm kench; Once any of them were dominant or found a viable place in pro they got gutted or left to stay in that place permanently. Doesn't matter how many times you complain or make giant post with good points they will not change these champs UNLESS they have a skin coming out, regardless how bad they are in solo q. - Maokai fuking sucks atm in ever role, but since he becomes so dominant in pro if there is tank meta he will forever be in that stage. Now im pretty sure riot is trying to shift him to the jungle which i dont mind, so they gave him a pretty decent buff march, but that was his only buff this season. - Braum is the support with the second lowest winrate atm, but since he so good in premade teams he is naturally good in proplay. So they will never touch him again cause he found a good spot in pro play. - Tahm Kench, bro this dude is never getting changed ): Sometimes champs get lucky when they reach proplay, they get nerfed, and are in a decent spot in solo q. Then riot will actually move em around a bit until they are useful in solo q. Tahm Kench must be the most unlucky champ in the game in terms of this regard. Riot gutted his supp and moved him top where he became a nightmare for regular players. Then they nerfed him again and due to the negative feedback top, now most of lol community hates his guts. There no way riot is touching tahm cause no one likes tahm, with the exception of mains. He is not a skin seller and his fan base depleted after his support identity was stolen and the trauma he caused top lane. My tip is find a main that has a decent fan base, so when riot fuks them up you have a whole ass community backing you up. For me tat comes in the form of Thresh as my last main. As for the other 3 i pull them out very situationally, like only if they fit on the team very well. Also since you asked about tahm, he went from being one of my main supps to one of my junglers. Tahm with Hail of blades is pretty good, just gank when they used their dash and its a easy kill.
Unfortunately they're going to stay gutted because Maokai, Braum, and Kench are all super uninteractive when they're even remotely good. Maokai is unkillable while also CCing endlessly, Braum blocks everything that you want to do while CCing, and Tahm Kench makes any sort of engage useless since he can just W and use either Cleanse or QSS to get away. If any of the three are strong, they force everyone else in their role to be a check of "can this champ match up?" If not, they're useless, if so, they're meta and probably broken as well

Absurd auto attack animation windup is why I've stopped playing Ashe, its ridiculous how long you have to stand in place to get one auto attack off in the early game

Other Juggernauts have either hard CC or engaging tools that allow them to reach their opponents. Nasus has only his slow.
Then change his W into a more meaningful form of CC. As it stands, Wither is effectively a 5 second root, while effectively being a disarm because of the ridiculous loss of attack speed. He needs something to make it so that he can fight and not get kited, but Wither is too effective at that job and makes it unplayable for anybody immobile.

Yeah I've already given up this season. Out of the 6 ranked games I've played this season, I've yet to lose lane. However, every other lane/jungle loses hard, and the game is unwinnable when 3/5 of the enemy team has an item up on me. I don't feel like I can improve my gameplay until I'm put in situations that allow me to improve rather than being one shot by the enemy mid/top/jungle.

Defense Matrix has been considered to be one of the most broken abilities in OW by professionals. His entire rant was begging for power creep, which shoves the game state into one of "whoever hits their abilities first wins." I have the utmost respect for LS as a coach, but that doesn't mean he knows everything. While buffing champions will solve problems of abuse, such as Lissandra abusing Aftershock, it also shoves those answers into a position of power in and of themselves. Their power won't be limited to dealing with Lissandra, they themselves will take over the meta with their new strength. Following that trend, the answers to those champions get buffed, and so on and so forth. Nerfing what is too strong and saving buffs for those who are blatantly underperforming is how balance should work. There are always going to be strong picks in the meta, but his method of dealing with it just enforces a different, more damage heavy meta rather than going around the issue and nerfing things that need to be tuned down, such as Aftershock making champions nearly unkillable in the early game, in all lanes (Lissandra, Galio, Alistar, Thresh, etc).

It feels kinda bad to have way lower AD, but the tools that ER grants access to somewhat balance things our. IE gives raw power in its stats, but ER gives access to quicker ability use, which is important for spell sling ADCs like Xayah and Sivir. Being able to use Siv Q or Xayah E more often balances out the raw damage of IE rushers (Cait, Trist) vs spell slinging ADCs (Siv, Xayah, Lucian). Its not a perfect balance, sure, but IE inherently should be a bit stronger in terms of raw stats

Not really. Neither one reduces True Damage, and Vayne nowadays more so goes for an attack speed based build to maximize her W damage rather than super juicy crits with the bonus of the W damage every third auto.

Hitting enchanter strength, then ADC strength, then ADC items, then enchanter strength again, just made ADC useless

The double crit chance has always been and will always be a broken passive, allowing for a one item spike on a champion who builds like a bruiser and an ADC. Alongside that, his W makes it overly difficult to fight him if you have any ranged abilities that you rely on for damage. His play pattern is obnoxious to play against, and even when behind, he still poses a massive threat if unchecked.

Essence Reaver is always going to be a niche item, so you need to examine who its more balanced on. Champs like Sivir, Xayah, and Lucian relied on it for their important abilities (W, E, and E, respectively) while fighters who use it rely on it for the entire kit (Jax, Renekton, Riven). If it has crit, it synergizes with marksmen, but if it doesn't, marksmen have no reason to use it. Conversely, if it has crit, fighters don't benefit from it (especially is Essence Flair is removed to balance it), but if it doesn't have crit, fighters become EXTREMELY strong with EF activated, having all of their powerful cooldowns reduced. In the long run, I think its always going to be healthier on marksmen, since it doesn't act as a reset for their kits, and since marksmen have less powerful tools that SHOULD be restricted by their CD.

I play Alistar, Thresh, Leona, and Rakan mostly. Mastery 7 on all three. I'm currently in the transition of support to mid for a lot of the same reasons you are. Even with the tankiness and CC of those supports, damage is too high to be able to keep a carry alive in most situations. Nobody is perfect, and perfection is what's required to keep your teammate alive. It feels hopeless to try, so I'm giving up. Know you're not alone in this hellhole of a season/pre-season

I still prefer Windspeaker's, but Aery is fine since if allows for enchanters to poke a bit easier and have additional shielding. Its a bit of having your cake and eating it too, though it doesn't feel as impactful as if used to.
