: Morderkaiser adjust
Reworked and new champions are always on pick/permaban status for the first couple of weeks, nobody wants some unskilled idiot on their team to pick it just because it's new, and nobody wants team mates feeding an enemy who picked the champion just because they don't know how to play around it. This is not anything new, and every time this happens Riot ends up making premature, unnecessary changes. Every time.

K, why are we giving him viewers tho?
: Finally figured out the reason all new champs are OP
Uh no, shit comes out of the PBE unbalanced because PBE is nearly useless. It is impossible to get the kind of sample size from a real variety of skill levels that Riot would need in order to have things come out balanced every time. PBE is largely populated by people who just want to use new skins and champions without paying for them.

Neither of these things are unreasonable, and if you look at the damage it does when not being boosted by the single target effect, that's not an abnormal amount either. A Karthus Q hurts like hell too if you get hit alone, and it's on a smaller CD. Other abilities to less damage to anything after the first enemy hit.
: Who likes or dislikes the Epic store?
They went into this a year too soon, and are trying to use strongarm tactics to acquire users despite that fact. That alone is reason enough for me to have no respect for them as a game client right now. When they eventually get their shit together I won't have much problem, aside from the mild annoyance at needing to run a different launcher to play a couple of games when I've got the other 200 on steam. >There are some BS excuses for hating Epic launcher like there's no cart, no steam trading cards, and no friendlist. Who cares? No one bitches about that stuff on the GoG launcher, or Origin, or uPlay. Everyone uses Discord anyway for their friendlist. The only stupid thing on that list is trading cards. The cart, friends management, and everything else their client lacks are all legitimate reasons to refuse to use the EGS, and that's before we even get to the exclusivity nonsense, or the big sale where developers pulled their games from the store to dodge the sale. Not everybody uses discord for the friends list either, so stop grasping at straws. And what the hell difference does it make to you, anyways? None. It doesn't matter which storefront people use. If you like epic then fine, _you_ use epic, but that's no excuse to whine about other people sticking to their preferred storefronts.

Never! The real question is: why are RIOTERS allowed to be friends with streamers? They should never be able to add them as friends just because of situations like this one. Once you re friend with someone you won t be objective anymore and it already happened. That RIOTER should be punished along with Nightblue for doing this. Just because you re a streamer and have a reputation doesn t give you the rights to threaten people and use a rioter to ban people at your will whenever you want or just because you have a bad day. Don t we all need a RIOT friend and start banning people who annoyed us? Having friends like this one shouldn t be allowed. They need to stay behind the scenes and keep an objective opinion as much as possible. Why a streamer is above me, you and everyone else? The Rioter apologized that the player they were dealing with had a bad experience. This is not some kind of privilege just for NB or any other streamer, or because they're friends (or not, just because NB claimed he'd talk to his friend doesn't mean they're friends, he straight up posted a support ticket precisely because he was talking out of his ass. If he hadn't been then the guy would've been banned that night by his "rioter friend"), this is a standard company line to a customer lodging a complaint. > The real question is: why are RIOTERS allowed to be friends with streamers? They should never be able to add them as friends just because of situations like this one. Once you re friend with someone you won t be objective anymore and it already happened. You can't tell people who they can or cannot be friends with, period. The discussion between the two of them was not through the client, or through a support ticket, it was through discord. Again, you cannot control who becomes friends with who, nor do any of us know that these two actually are friends. > That RIOTER should be punished along with Nightblue for doing this. They need to stay behind the scenes and keep an objective opinion as much as possible. What NB did was wrong and he should be punished for toxicity just like any other player, but as I said in my last post, we don't know that what the Rioter did was wrong in any way because we don't -nor will we ever- know who had the final say in Nubrac's ban. The system does not always send punishments out immediately, and the fact that he hit a 14 day ban with this event says that he likely has been punished for other stuff in the past too. There are too many details that we do not and will not know to start throwing accusations at a Rioter whose sole involvement in the situation could have simply been to pass along information to another Rioter. It does no good to jump the gun, and this sort of response is exactly why the gaming community -and this generation as a whole- get so much hate for being petty, vindictive and whiny. > Why a streamer is above me, you and everyone else? He s just a player like everyone else, making a living out of it and that s all. Why streamers must have more rights than us? Now should we all play with the fear that we might encounter a "famous" streamer that might decide to ban us via a RIOTER just because? Time to find other game I suppose. They aren't. Streamers get punished for their shit too, as long as they're getting reported. I've seen it myself on stream.
: @Riot Zephy - Did you honestly apologize to an AFK player yelling r%%%%%?
Some of the people in this thread seem to be mistaking what was a discord interaction for a support ticket. NB went into discord to bitch and moan when his support ticket report didn't immediately get the other person banned, because he seems to think the world revolves around him. Zephyrus apologizing up front is standard company talk, there's nothing inherently wrong with keeping up a professional appearance (something NB could learn from). The only wrong doing would be if Zephyrus were to ban Nubrac manually after the punishment system decided that he didn't need to be punished yet, and we don't know for sure that this is what happened. Punishments are not always immediate. To summarize, the Rioter didn't do wrong by apologizing, NB does need to be punished as well, we don't have any information that proves any other wrong doing.
: Why are we attacking Riot for the whole Nightblue3 thing?
Not all the threads are bashing Riot, I think the mods should just consider closing out all the ones except the main thread (the one that basically just posts the video and tells Riot to deal with the problem). It's not like there would be anything wrong with asking posters to stay consolidated with the topic.

: Tahm kench op?
He's pretty strong against most melee champions, so people trying to play those champions are going to have a hard time against him top, but I think most of the people losing to him are just too hung up on the notion that he's OP or unstoppable until he gets nerfed. A big mistake I see people make against him is to assume that killing him almost all at once is a good idea. Nope. Whittle him down a little at a time to prevent his E from being such a huge shield mid-fight, or CC him during his shield to wait out the duration before burning more CDs on him. Same way you deal with Ekko in lane so that he can't get a high effectiveness ult off in a losing fight. He could certainly use some tuning, but I wouldn't say he's anything bad enough to warrant the sort of nerf Riot is likely going to throw his way in the next few weeks.
: Nightblue gets a player Falsely banned.
NB is a prick anyways, everybody knows that. It's amusing that he's so delusional that he would say the league community are all assholes and try to make it seem as if he's any better.

{{champion:57}} Ruined the kit with his update (formerly one of my favorites to play) {{champion:107}} Is really cool in theory, but he's got the brain dead assassin kit to end all brain dead assassin kits. {{champion:37}} The nature of her kit means that when she actually feels good and impactful, it's because she's too strong. Any other time she feels like shit to play. {{champion:106}} Needs no explanation, requires a rework. Never allowed to be good before he gets beaten down with the nerf bat by the Rito police force. {{champion:72}} Screw that spire mini game passive nonsense and the horse it rode in on. And a special mention for {{champion:27}} , who would look amazing with a farting Skeletor skin because his laugh is damn near perfect for it, but his kit is straight up cancerous for everybody involved. Definitely fun and interactive gameplay /sarcasm.

Ryze needs a full rework. Not a partial rework, not a re-imagining with his core intact, a full rework from the ground up. His "identity" that they've been trying to keep for the last 500 Ryze updates is exactly why they can't balance him properly, and never will. : Riot please post a psa in the loading screen about junglers.
The only tax you're getting is when you succeed in a gank (doesn't have to be a kill, but they do have to be sent back to count as a success) and then we are able to push the built up wave under tower before going back myself, that way we can deny the enemy as much xp and gold as possible. Take what you can out of that wave while we push it, that's fine. If I roam or TP to help another lane, and there's no way in hell you can get there anyways, go take my leftover wave before it hits tower - protect the tower while you're at it. Lane minions under any other circumstance? Those are mine. My lane is my gold source, your jungle is yours. You take my shit because you botched a gank, or decided to wander into lane just to leech my xp, and I'll go into the jungle and take your shit for myself to make up the difference.

It's not, nor will it ever be. We can bitch about balance all we want to, and rightfully so, but the reality of the matter is that achieving actual balance in a game like this is 100% impossible without homogenizing it to the point that nobody would play it.
: Opinion : Riot should stop making champions for now
People have been telling them to drop champion releases to a trickle since back when we still only had like 60 champions. Instead, they didn't listen and take action until around 100, problems compounded and got way out of hand, and now we're forever stuck in "putting out the fire" mode.

A few champions already do this even without spending the gold or taking a SS for it, and it's a much shorter cd. And you have to understand that unless the person carrying {{item:3140}} is an AD damage dealer, they're basically giving up an item slot that would otherwise give them more fighting power. That's a huge sacrifice just to deal with one ult when the enemy team has 4 more ready to wipe a high priority target off the map.

: So why do they spam new champions all of a sudden?
It takes months to finish each one, but they do work on developing multiple champions at the same time. They reached the end of her development, felt she was ready enough to release, so they're going to release her. She still has to go to PBE for testing too, so it still probably won't even happen til the last week of the month. They don't have to hold finished content back just to create the illusion that they're working on stuff.

: Futile reworks
There is no way for them to make a rework that 100% never needs to be changed, no matter how long they spend working on one. It's simply an unrealistic expectation. The game is constantly changing, and when one thing changes -especially items and runes- it affects dozens of other things as well, often times resulting in a need to go back and do additional work to ensure those other things either stay or fall back in line. Obviously we also have an issue with overzealous designers who disregard the overall health of the game when they do their work, but even if every designer at Riot was S-tier at their job, we would still see a need to undo or make additional changes to reworks and other existing champions.

I believe "Death Realm" as an effect is only ever one plane though, regardless of how many different Morde's cast R. Each one just overwrites the last, there is only one death realm plane. If this is not the case, they'll most likely just disable him in OFA if it ever returns.

Nothing special, his ult isn't for fighting power. Death realm doesn't do anything, and two mordes ulting each other in the same fight just means the new R's timer takes over.

The hilarious thing about vanilla WoW is that people are now so tired the nonsense with Blizz and WoW that the population will probably die down pretty quickly. They waited so long to act on consumer demand that it's now basically doomed to a rocky future, and they'll use that as an excuse to say "told you so!" and continue to ignore consumer opinion. Shouldn't be a problem to have her removed, but there's nothing stopping his friends from gifting her to him again.
