I am pretty sure that if we were behind closed doors, there would be some insight into the inspiration for these sorts of things. Maybe Sett Jungle got them inspired. Maybe they played another game and thought about it. Maybe someone found an account that was a Darius Jungle one trick and thought it was cool. I think that Darius doesn't even *feel* like a jungler. I don't WANT to play Darius and brutally deathmatch crabs and kruggs. I tried to get my suggestion out into the ether, that Garen could be made a jungler by allowing his ult to be used on Large and Epic monsters if you have a Jungle item, which would provide a skill-based, gold-agnostic objective control feature to his kit. If you make his clear strong, he will terrorize low elo. He will be Master Yi except he can just facetank everything and has an execute.
: If you could change the role of any champion in game...
{{champion:27}} should be a jungler. That's it, really. He just should be a jungler. You could give him a damage to monsters buff like Ekko has, increase damage to monsters on his poison trail, or uncap his damage on E. Mana sustain in the jungle is very good at the moment. But if I saw singed on paper without numbers or context and no prior history, I'd assume he was a jungler.

Maybe that's true of the MAIN league sub, but SummonerSchool? SupportMains? JungleMains? There's really good stuff in there. Lots of non-casuals. Even in the comments. There's people workshopping ideas, discussing the meta, referring people to resources...It really outclasses the Riot forums. I'd say the biggest problem on Role- or Champ-specific subs and places like SummonerSchool is probably elo shaming, and it hampers people from being willing to share their op.gg or admit their rank/inexperience unless they are very new or very accomplished. But it isn't an off-ramp for angry customer service complaints and disgruntled people saying things like the guy above; suggesting Riot is "ignoring the playerbase"(as if they have some other data to work from) and forecasting a Chinese apocalypse(as if Chinese players aren't players).

: AutoFill
So let's say you have a 50% winrate, you coinflips games on your main role, and aren't too bad. You're in an elo that you belong. Then you're autofilled and rather than getting teammates that are aggregate 50% winrate(the ideal), you get 55% winrate teammates. It's actually BETTER for you to be autofilled than to be playing your main role. All you have to do is not be the worst person on the map and most times you'll win(albeit slightly). It also means that when people are climbing, playing well, and have a good winrate, they will be more likely to be matchmade with autofilled teammates. I don't think anyone wants that. Riot has said they are planning to work on autofill this year, and I am willing to bet that the primary hurdle is finding a sufficient number of players to match everyone any better than they already are. There is a huge playerbase, but if 10 million people were playing League 24 hours a day, your matchmaking would be very fine tuned. But especially above Gold, where you have a tiny subset of players and LP decay keeping it tiny, you are, to some extent, relegated to playing with whoever is in your region at the moment. I have to say, matchmaking isn't THAT bad. If you've never been Iron 4/Bronze 5, you haven't seen what kind of imbalanced matchmaking is possible. If you're autofilled, you can check your teammates winrates in lobby and dodge 1/day if they dont look like anyone's gonna carry you. Heck, being autofilled support with the draven one trick who is on an 8 game loss streak and is now playing Aphelios for the first time...probably not a win either, no matter who your teammates are.

: Can We please rebalance irelia on being late game carry and nerf her early game.
Her AA range being 125 would make every Q basically a lost trade. She needs the range to weave AAs into her rotations/trades while her most iconic ability repositions her. Lots of melee champs have more than 125 range. Heck, Garen is 175. Irelia is suffering from one thing: the state of solo lanes. She's fine. But she can't push-and-roam midlane and, just like most juggernauts and bruisers, she isn't going to have the time and money in toplane to scale into the midgame on time in organized play. A fed Irelia can still absolutely take over a soloqueue game. lvl 2 powerspikes are an IQ test for the opponent. It's hard to be too upset about a reliable advantage that is countered by walking backwards and waiting for 30 seconds.

Yeah it's coded like Riposte. But Cinderhulk burn does 300% damage to monsters. Tanky and heavy regen champs can literally clear camps by standing in them. Garen with a cinderhulk already clears just fine. Sure his early clear is a bit of struggle but so is Warwick until he gets Tiamat/Cinderhulk, and he's a top-tier jungler at the moment. Garen Jungle isn't a troll because of his clear anymore, its because a jungle item is a whack first item for a guy who rushes triforce(without tiamat) by default. So to be Garen, you need money, more money than a jungler will get. Sett is a very similiar jungler because he goes a similar build, but he WANTS to be 1v2, and has an advantage to fighting people next to jungle creeps. Garen does not have that. So basically Garen jungle currently is like someone playing Garen from way behind(limited jungle econ) and building a sunfire cape first item. Absolute dog. BUT If he could provide objective control, something that keeps the likes of Nunu relevant even when behind, he would be a viable, fun, and unique jungler. He wouldn't be a jungler you can blind pick and stomp with, and he wouldn't be a worse version of already existing junglers(like Sett). There is good skill expression in combining burst abilities like Nunu/WW bites and smite, as well as landing them correctly during chaotic skirmishes. The CD on garen ult is both low enough to not sweat using it on camps. Plus who doesn't want to slam some justice into the Baron and secure it for your team? They will think you're the man.

Totally agree on removing Duos. If Clash is a normal feature, between it Ranked Flex, there's no reason for it. 5 randoms versus a 3 randoms with 2 guys in Discord who have played together for years is hardly good matchmaking. A middle school boys soccer team versus a pro team with blindfolds on still isn't good matchmaking, and the kids are going to win by default. Voice comms are actually OP. You can't fix the troll problem, because as soon as you do this, you will have countless players in Korean and Chinese PC cafes who pay by the hour FFing anytime they don't win early game. The autofill indicator will just lead to endless dodging. A huge amount of the player base is queuing for mid to lock in Yasuo. You may have been around for the old Starcraft/Warcraft custom map days where you were kicked instantly when you began to download the map. It took forever to get into a game because allowing players to control matchmaking just means they are playing the game in the client. Totally agree on being able to re-arrange the order of champs in your client. I want my pool kept at the top. I want to be able to favorite bans. It's annoying to get used to where Teemo is and then a new champ comes out and I can't find the little rat. Summoner spells--how would it know what you want? Also, smite isn't that bad on anyone. Sure it's not Teleport but it's not the end of the world. Laning with smite is a lot better than jungling without smite, that's for sure.

: One bad game and my account got suspended, eh?
I actually had one game where I was insanely frustrated by my team who was holding me hostage and insulting me. I told the enemy team what to do to end the game so I could get out and ONE guy said in all chat to report me(the guy who called me a few bannable, unrepeatable things). A few minutes later, a Braum bot said "we have received 9 reports in your last 20 games) and INSTABANNED my account. Reset my honor, which was one dot from Honor level 5. I contacted Riot to explain that this was a bit of an absurdity, as the 9 people were all from one game, 5 of whom are just following some moron's instructions. I had to write a very demeaning, humiliating short essay about how reformed I was and why I was a bad boy. No I'm not kidding. It was super screwed up but I'm an adult and just wanted my account back. Every time I see my honor level, or the fact that I got an Honor 4 ward(yes, even AFTER that) instead of Honor 5, or that I couldn't play Yuumi on PBE, it reminds me that some things about League are pretty messed up. I am one of the least toxic league players that takes the game seriously, I have people tell me all the time, and am honored every game. And I've been instabanned, and made to do this self-humiliation ritual to get the account with my champs and skins back.
: Riot Please Read Me....
While I tend to agree, there are ways to mitigate it. Ways people didn't tell me, and I had to learn the hard way. Don't play ranked with higher elo friends on smurf accounts. You will end up with insane MMR for your rank and very different people in your games. Don't play solo or off your A-Game at the bottom of any tier. I guess except Iron, if you're Iron 4 zero lp you have nothing to lose. Because promos exist and the fact that you can sit at 0 lp for a while, there is an emergent sorting effect that ensures team quality will be abnormally bad. Don't play ranked the first and last few weeks of the season. Don't play ranked on Friday night, Saturday evening, or very late in the evening. This is when people who are prone to smurfing are bored and likely to do it. Nobody is smurfing at 10am on a Tuesday. Biggest thing is to make sure your MMR is really tight with your Rank. Don't be Silver 3 in games with mostly Gold 4 players. Also, don't be Silver 4 in games with mostly Bronze 2. There are a crapload of people playing in bronze-gold, there are more than enough to find a match of your rank. If you're Silver 4 and only being put in Bronze 2 teams because you are being demotion-shielded and keep losing, you have a hill to climb to stop running into problematic matchmaking.
: Adults who play league?
Adults are more stable. Some adults are toxic jerks from moment 1 and literally cannot adapt or calm themselves down. Others are impenetrably collected. People who swing from Poggers to Flaming or start running it down out of frustration are probably teenagers. I'm 32 and have 3 kids. I gotta keep remembering that my teammates could easily be my kids' age.

It'll close just fine, you're computer isn't frozen, just the game. Swap back to your other user where league is running and hit reconnect. It'll load to 20% and then pop you in game.

Low elo player and hobbyist Game designer here! I want to suggest why I think Master Yi has a problem. Some champions are clearly terrors in low elo and don't work in higher elos because players individually and as a group learn to deal with them. Garen players get kited out of the game and struggle to rotate(which is why you see Riste going Deadman's and Predator so often, and using it just to roam faster). In Bronze, players keep running up to Garen and getting whacked by him, intimidated, and then back off, not cognizant of the fact that he is on full cooldowns and secretly helpless. Nasus and Darius are countered by simply getting ganked by the jungler a couple times pre-6, and then can basically never catch up as long as objectives are being taken. Low elo players let them lane in peace, and turn into raid bosses. There are other examples of champions that teach you valuable lessons. Now for Master Yi. Master Yi walks into your jungle and kills you. Master Yi walks up to your lane kills you. Why doesn't this work in higher elo? Because he's in an idiotically overextended position and gets counterganked or collapsed on by a laner. If Yi comes into my jungle, I should just back off to the t2 turret, then my laner circles around and we 2v1 him back to his fountain, and I get to go back to my camps that are right there and get a farm lead. What happens in low elo? Your team flames you for dying or wonders why nobody banned him. They don't help at all. The counterplay to Yi is laners helping the jungler by setting up ganks or defending a gank properly and using lane priority. There is no lane priority in Iron and Bronze. It doesn't exist. They aren't even seeing it happening on the minimap. So the jungler gets to die by being stat-checked by a champ that he literally can't even click on, and the counterplay is entirely in the hands of other players who will now get angry at the victim of Yi. They aren't learning. Additionally, the Yi player isn't learning why he shouldn't be doing this. He's just pressing Q as fast as possible and waiting until he's so fed he can meditate through 2 people attacking him as a BM, or else feeding his butt off. I had a Bronze 4 Yi in my game with 2 MILLION mastery points. Clearly, he's not learning either. The kit is set up to punish mostly the enemy jungler for the failures of other players, and nobody who needs to understand that is getting it. There needs to be a reason to pay attention to where he is, not have him be some ghost in the darkness that pops up to press Q till you die. There needs to be a clear incentive to help fight him, or else he just becomes a pentakill machine and it all gets blamed on the one player he's stat-checking rather than the teammates who did nothing to stop it. It's like the classic "WTF why'd you feed Nasus in lane" thing except there you can actually excel and beat Nasus in lane, and the Nasus player realizes that he has to stack well and sustain his mana pool if he wants to carry. If Yi beats you to lvl 3 and finds you, you're blowing summs and outplaying your heart out just to stop a guy who's aggressively mashing Q, and you probably won't make it. tl;dr: Master Yi punishes his victims by placing his counterplay exclusively in the hands of that player's teammates, while also learning nothing himself. He should be punished for overextending, and players should be incentivized to intervene in his 1v1s.
