: Actually, this makes a lot of sense. I could see a scenario where Safeguard has a charge system that refills when he returns to base (AKA just like wards in SS/TrackKnife). Jumping to an ally doesn't consume a charge, but "dash to location" does (AKA consume ward stack to dash). This essentially keeps his kit the same. The only thing this doesn't account for is the vision gained from the combo, but let's be honest, the vision is an external part of his kit anyways. He could still just drop a ward like before, but can no longer use it as a target for Safeguard. edit: he'd also lose the ability to hop to wards placed by allies earlier. I'd have to dig deeper, but I don't think that would impact him too heavily. If Riot really wants to, there's room to play with the charge system. Such as a long cd to get a stack (maybe 45+ seconds?).

Yes, he has weaknesses, but the ones you mentioned are weaknesses of a stupid/bad Yasuo.
1. 6 seconds window on Syndra's E? Smh. Btw just some cool down before cdr for some typical mid laner's "critical skillshots" Ahri E: 12 all levels Brand&Diana Q : 8-6 LeBlanc E: 14-11 Lux Q: 13-11 Syndra E: 12-8 Xerath E: 13-11 Yasuo can definitely try to stack up his Q when his windwall is on cooldown just to stay safe, but remember it was nerfed a long time ago? He can only hold a tornado for 6 seconds, so there's still a pretty big gap in between. As a heavy item-dependent champion, both losing cs or being harassed and eventually forced back are severe punishment, and there's not really anyway to fix it except calling the jungler, which adds pressure to the other lanes, and objectives. (I had a game where enemy jungler is busy ganking top/mid, and my jungler Aatrox just solo'd drake at around 6:00 or 7:00, so too many ganks can lead to bad results) In conclusion, his windwall's cooldown is long enough, and can be played around strategically by not only his laning opponent, but the jungler, or maybe even the roaming support. 2. You didn't answer my actual question. I'm talking about his inability to cast windwall during the dash. Of course you can say "He's gonna press WE", but not using windwall reactively is extremely dangerous, he might waste the windwall, then got ganked and killed by a Lee/Naut. Back to the topic, I enjoy playing against Yasuo as Ahri, because I just need to time my charm correctly during his dash, which leads to the following result: 1. He got charmed, so his dash/EQ combo is interupted 2. I get to burst him. (Of course I will harass and get his shield down first) 3. I'm still marked by his E, so he can't recast E on me even though I received no damage. An alternative example for perfect timing will be Ahri vs Zed, if you time your charm correctly, you can charm him right after he re-appear from his ult. A good Yasuo will not spam his dash, but regardless of how good this Yasuo is, his opponent's positioning will always lead to him forced to use a dash or being kited. Nobody wants the latter to happen. 4. So he can windwall a Camille E, Jax E, Naut auto/R? There are plenty of point and click or non-projectile hard cc in lol you know, some of them are even instant or have extremely short wind up animation.

Btw, here's some advanced tips for countering Yasuo from a no-lifer: 1. Always count the minions whenever he uses a dash in lane, so you'll see the "surprising" dodge coming. 2. Save 1 hard cc and time it correctly to deny his ultimate (and at the same time you also denied his recharged shield, his armor pen buff, and about 1-2 second of hard cc, killing 3 birds with 1 stone you see) 2.5. For certain champions({{champion:62}} {{champion:164}} {{champion:121}} {{champion:103}} {{champion:84}} etc) it is possible to deny his ultimate twice or three times in a roll (that is, around 10 seconds) 3. Don't gank him from behind, unless you are champions like {{champion:111}} or {{champion:254}} after lvl 6. You see his weaknesses here are unavoidable, and very rewarding to those who spent time playing against/as him.

{{champion:111}} is touched a long time ago, when the mana cost on his E is increased by 10 or something. (Matters a lot for jungle naut, who relies on E heavily before Bami's Cinder)

: Im sorry Riot but the problem with turrets is that anyone can tank them for too many shots early game making diving way to easy to do with randoms not that they are too squishy. For coordinated players its a cake walk if they know what they are doing. Towers need to do more damage earlier on to champions. Maybe make them do 10% more dmg to champions or make them do more dmg with minions having damage reduction for tower shots. Either way Towers need to do more dmg to champions so that diving towers early will be a risk. Not just something any champion can do with ease. Edit: It used to be that towers protected you early game but you protected them mid to late game. That gameplay style has gone out the door.
Couldn't agree more, just has an enemy Leona tanking 4 turret shots and walk away with 200~ health during an early game dive.

: Why not make a robo-rallyish race, instead? You can keep almost all of the standard rules and won't have the issue of people being ousted from a round and then sitting around without anything to do.
I can definitely add a respawn mechanic in which players can respawn at any place desired 3 rounds after their death, however they can only start with 6 cards and 0 bounty.
