Also depending on what software you use you can also adjust frame skipping and rendering quality to try and enhance the output video. It could also just be motion blur that needs to be removed from a few frames. though I have no clue what your preferred method is for creating the videos.

Meddler (NA)
: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: August 2
Meddler, I noticed you're the design director of League of Legends. I wanted to become a design director also, but I honestly have no love for the asset creation side of game design and instead really enjoy tweaking numbers, coming up with new concepts, and similar stuff that you could probably classify as gaming psychology and story telling. I changed my major because according to my professors there's no way to become a design director without first being a model artist, animator, programmer, level designer, character artist, etc. first unless a person were to start a company and just give him or herself the title. In other words I was told that I would have nothing to offer a company. Can I get your thoughts on this? Anyway a couple of questions about the game (sorry in advance if some of these aren't things you work with.): Will we see more runes/rune categories in the future? Will we see the complex champion classes in the client? Would removing the item builder speed up the client or is there some form of redesign/optimization for the lesser used functions of the client? Is champion mastery going to evolve in the future? Could I convince you to talk the level designers into redesigning how mid lane looks? River is less of a river and more of a stream or marshy swamp it feels. I think it would look really pretty to have a nice bridge over a babbling brook that starts from a source and flows to a point. Or have I just overlooked some aspect of the river's design? The tunnel could be small and prevent entry OR radically it could provide a 3 dimensional pathway through mid lane without entering mid lane. That would be pretty cool. Are there ever going to be mirrored camera perspectives for the opposing sides so that both teams feel like they're playing the same game? The 72 degree view (random number. I have no idea what the actual angle is) is very reminiscent of older isometric games, but with the new 3D models and environment it seems a bit counter intuitive to the fairness of competition? or is that a feature that is considered part of league's identity?

: 20+ Re-rolls, couldnt get 3rd A-sol for lv 2. Feels bad
welllllllllll... you weren't level 9. so of course you were still having trouble finding tier 4's. your problem is that while building your composition you were building what you wanted and ignoring how the game works. --- if you want to build this brawler comp of yours then you should probably build it with rerolls earlier on to give you a higher chance at getting tier 3 warwick, elise, and reksai. because you're less likely to get any of them come mid to late game. at level 1 and level 2 you are guaranteed to only get tier 1 and tier 2 champions in your pool. from that point onward to level 6 the game starts adding in more champions to the pool and that causes it to become less likely to give you tier 1 and 2 champs due to distribution. Then at level 7 the game starts filtering out more and more tier 1's and 2's to leave you with greater chances of find tier 3's 4's and 5's. -------- with that being said since you said you had 50 gold and you spent it to reroll at what appears to be level 8? then you didn't spend it at the most optimal time which would have been pre level 6 and post level 9. --- also your composition has a lot of issues. 1 of which is that you have a ton of HP on champions and there are items that deal %max hp in damage. also that HP is pointless against high damage/fast attackers. You deal a ton of spell and attack damage assuming you put the right kind of items on your champs, but have no crowd control since you dont have {{champion:22}} {{champion:53}} {{champion:201}} {{champion:114}} {{champion:127}} {{champion:89}} {{champion:85}} {{champion:117}} {{champion:25}} {{champion:555}} {{champion:78}} {{champion:113}} {{champion:98}} {{champion:157}} and all of you damage dealers minus sol and swain are melee attackers. -- the most HP i've seen on a chogath is like 6k. khazix can deal 1.5k damage. if your chogath is just a big ball of hp then he's going to die just the same as your other champs. HP is only good as a secondary stat. i'm going to be 100% honest. i'm surprised you even made it to 6th place. especially since almost no one has any mages on their teams. i see 2 players building ninja/assassin, 1 player building imperial/noble/pirates, and 1 player building whatever they get and it's gotten him/her 4 level 3's and another player building "knight's and". so yeah... hope this analysis of your build helps you in some way.

: Is there truth to the "Never gank a losing lane" strategy?
"never" is inherently wrong to assume correct for every scenario. In fact you should never always do something if you're trying to win in a strategy game. The purpose of the jungler is to help out whatever lane is being oppressed by the enemy jungler or to farm xp and gold in the jungle. if the reason a lane is losing is because an enemy jungler is camping it then that means you're not keeping tabs on the enemy jungler. in a 1v1 matchup where a champion is losing to their opponent it would be to your advantage to assist in re-balancing the scales. the concept of "never" helping your ally if they're losing is because it assumes that this player is bad and won't know how to utilize the gold you've given them all while resetting their bounty or that the champion can't benefit the team late game. This thinking is negative in nature and assumes the worst. When choosing between two different lanes to help... go to the closest one. i recommend helping your mid laner before helping top or bottom because your mid laner controls the center of the map and should be nearing their powerspike during the 15 minute mark of the game. also, top laner's are intended to be durable and bottom laners have support. the mid laner is the easiest lane to dive due to the nature of the extreme high levels of damage that a mid laner can put out without needing to go under tower. -------- but the important thing to remember is that gold and xp are what matter. if you go to a lane, but you're unable to help and the enemy jungler isn't in a lane then you're putting yourself behind.

His story is some lame rebirth "skeleton" skeleton here means a reproduced story that is used to form the basic outline. when aatrox's mere flesh tires in battle the body is then "reborn" through the ascended power that aatrox possesses. the only character I like is the second from the bottom. the rest feel out of place. he looks like a combination of swain and singed. hmm.. Name: Serin P: Serin has a tank containing acid. This acid is super-heated and increases in pressure while Serin is not attacking. Upon attacking the pressure will expel acid from serin's tank. While the pressure is building Serin goes through three stages losing attack speed, increasing range and decreasing in width. At max pressure the acid is launched as a long range high speed projectile that is guaranteed to critical. at medium pressure the attack is a medium ranged aoe. at minimum pressure the attack becomes a short ranged cone DOT. Serin has a pressure gauge instead of a mana bar. Q: Serin increases his pressure by 1. W: Serin passively has a forcefield that allows him to walk through minions and monsters and reduces all incoming damage by a percent. activating the ability forces pressure from the protective field to burst outward knocking back all nearby enemies including dashes. E: Serin plants his feet making him immune to knockback and crowd control. He can't be silenced or stunned, but he cannot move either until the ability is deactivated. R: Upon leveling this skill Serin is given the option to choose 1 additional substance container, grows in size, and becomes 3% slower. Activating this ability allows serin to swap between available tanks each affecting his abilities differently. The options are Acid, Cryo, Napalm, and Air.

Like they wouldn't already flame you in-game? Also, if that were truly an issue, they wouldn't show summoner spells either. I feel like it can help. Just like with summoner spells, if you see someone is using an incorrect rune setup, you can inform them know in lobby, instead of flaming them after they admit that they used the wrong runes in-game. People who will flame about runes in lobby are going to flame about them in the game anyway, so why does that even matter?

It's just more clutter. if you want to solve the problem of a player having to swap last second to a rune page then advocate for rune pages to be assigned to specific champions and game modes just like how item builds are. once that happens then the question of "did you mean to pick that rune?" is all but negated.
: i win a game and then..
it's mathematically impossible to buy champs and never see it again.
