As a frequent Diana player since s4, I'm still getting used to Moonfall being on R. I like the changes a lot though. I say break her even more and make it a targeted ability like Leona's! Shazam, no more accidental ult casts! {{sticker:vlad-salute}}

: Hum, yes ? Lets rephrase it : Either the guy trolls x lobbies, forcing x leave and 3x LP lost and 20x minuts lost until he reaches a lobby where noone leave and then force everyone to waste 20+ minuts and lose 20 Lps. Total LP lost : 3x + 80 LPs Total time lost : 20x + 80min before he gets his first report Or, noone leaves and the total time and lp lost is : 80 Lps + 80min So actually, from a selfish point of view, yes it's way better to leave and dodge. But if you look at the big picture, if you want to minimize the total damages of the troll, you should not dodge. Also if noone ever dodged people would stop trying to scare others in order to make them dodge. By dodging you put the strain on others. Also there's another point to consider, you can troll a game by taking a regular champion, taking regular summoners, even farming well, but playing terribly on purpose, that will go undetected, while totaly wasting everyones times and Lps as well. So if someone instalock aatrox support with some non sens summoners he probably doesnt plan to really troll your game, he's trying to make you leave before he does. He's trying to scare you.

DURING a fifteen-minute period and actually IN fifteen minutes are two ~~very ~~ different things. To be honest, I was a bit surprised that I got the 15-minute penalty, seeing as I hadn't dodged since the day before. I might not have been so bothered by 5 minutes. Must've been right before the 24-hour reset. Noble attempt at getting under my skin though, bud.

"Martyrdom is not always seen as a good thing." Well spoken. Thank you for that fresh perspective. Just to mention again though, said summoner wasn't just going non-meta in this instance. He actually declared his intent to feed in the chat. It was up to somebody to dodge, or call his bluff and play anyway. I made like {{champion:24}} and dodged that shit.

: Here's my thinking: have a voting system as follows. A player starts to troll a game (allegedly). One player types /call moderator which brings up a dialog box that allows you to pick a player(s) to report for moderation. After selecting a player, a vote (like the /ff vote) is sent to all OTHER players (not including premade members) and if a majority of them vote to call a moderator, one is summoned to watch the remainder of the game (with chat visible) to see what's going on, and if it the moderator believes that deliberate actions were taken to counter the team's chance of winning, loss prevented is given to the victims (not including premade members again) and the guilty player is IMMEDIATELY put on some kind of probation where they are either banned from ranked or just outright banned for a set amount of time. Seems very simple and pretty much immune to abuse. This could be expanded to show pre-game chat, as well, and the same loss prevented system could be awarded in the case of champion select trolls, as well.

: > Because I'm the one who was willing to spare my team from playing with trolls. You didnt spare anything. The troll is going to queue again, and eventually find a game where noone dodges. What you did was : 1) Putting the troll on someone else's shoulder 2) Saving YOUR lps 3) surrendering to the troll 4) Making him happy 5) Preventing him from being properly reported and ban if he happened to really troll during the game. I dont get why you have got so many upvotes, you were just totaly selfish to dodge this game. I never ever ever dodge a game, I'm always happy playing if I know I have good chances to help banning a troll. What I have learnt from not dodging any game is most of the time, once the game is started the lobby's troll is totaly playing seriously and trying to win.

Not sure how I got so many upvotes either. Last time I was here, there were 15. I just felt like complaining. He spammed "mid or feed" in dynamic queue, then locked in Aatrox with {{summoner:13}} <---not clairvoyance and {{summoner:1}} . You tell me if he would've played seriously or not. I don't really care what YOU do. Congratulations on being more noble than me for never dodging a game. I most certainly made him happy. If trolls need that to feel like they're part of the world somehow, so be it. *insert first day on the internet kid meme* I haven't touched ranked once this season, so I didn't lose anything but time. I'm a pretty self-aware person. I'll tell you right now that I would've ended up being toxic, or just left the game, subjecting myself to the LeaverBuster. Selfish seems like an awfully strong word. People that can't be bothered to learn a support champ though... them, we can call selfish. He probably did queue again. Maybe he reformed instantly, or maybe everyone in the next game reported him. I'm sure nobody on the enemy team would report him anyway. It's win at any cost, after all. ****Edit: Deleted posts above were JUST THIS, but I kept screwing the format up.**** 2nd Edit, *since apparently I need to spell it out:* Their visibility does not contribute to the relevance of your post, Mr. Starcraft243ver. : Where is the new lore?
Not to shamelessly self-promote or anything, but do you guys think these are lore worthy? It kind of improves upon the Zed/Nocturne theory while respecting Zed's existing lore, and then it throws Ryze into the mix as well. I gave some backstory to his scroll and hint at why Nocturne was capable of cutting through it in that cinematic. Just on the prowl for some feedback and constructive criticism here! http://bakedfrodo.tumblr.com/post/125710573682/nocturne-the-eternal-nightmare http://bakedfrodo.tumblr.com/post/125708938417/ryze-the-rogue-mage PS. : The bigger change is going to be the smite damage indicator. I am Good enough at keeping track of buff/epic's health and timers, but the big thing is for some reason I am really bad at remembering how much my smite will do. I think that is far more significant in separating good from great in the jungle, and will kind of be a welcome change considering the amount of other complexity they seem to want to add with the new preseason.
Damn, I didn't know that was coming also. I usually glance at my smite damage on my way to a big monster or coming up to a buff that I'm afraid might be stolen.

: Aurixen, The Traitor General [Champion Concept]
: Why was "Catch the Teemo" never introduced?
I was thinking a Teemo 1v1 on Twisted Treeline called Rambo Teemo would be cool! It'd be pretty easy to set up in a custom lobby.
: Idea for Xin Zhao Lore
He definitely seems to give off the Ionian vibe for me also. And there's nothing wrong with referencing the amazing Gladiator! I think that Viscero Xin Zhao is a salute to one of the guys that Russell Crowe kills in the first arena scene.
: What champ has the best playstyle to lore aspect?
Ooooh, this is a good question. There's a ton of good choices. I'll refrain from mentioning the ones already used in cinematics. I'd say the best are Thresh and Hecarim. Seeing Thresh throw his chain out reminds me of his log-in music. Imagine how horrifying that would be in the woods at night. Hecarim, because your goal is to rush the enemy at full speed and make them scatter. {{item:3078}} + {{summoner:6}} ={{champion:120}} Playing both as tanks and knowing that as soon as you make a move, all hell will break loose makes you feel like a Shadow Isles monster! Jinx/Vi pair and the Jayce/Viktor pair are worth mentioning also. You can't beat the classic cop vs. criminal or the superhero vs supervillain scenarios playing out on the rift.
Solideus (EUNE)
: What would you think of this Ryze/Zyra plot?
It seems like a cool concept. I was drafting a lore that involved Ryze finding his scroll and unwittingly using it to release Nocturne from the void :)

: > skill/chance factors One of the biggest things that separates good junglers from great ones Putting the number in plain sight Right click such skill/chance Was buff timers Already is, see number 1 This doesn't actually change anything. Baron and dragon health were already easily accessible to anyone who cared enough to know the exact numbers. "some people didn't click on it" Those same people also never kept track of timers and won't know what to do in a jungle where they can't start with a buff. Everyone else is unaffected.
> Was buff timers > Baron and dragon health were already easily accessible to anyone who cared enough to know the exact numbers. "some people didn't click on it" Those same people also never kept track of timers and won't know what to do in a jungle where they can't start with a buff. I completely agree on the buff timers. Won't lie, I'm guilty of not being consistent with those. Yes, the numbers are accessible to anyone who cares to know them. But what about the junglers who don't care and just smite based off the health bar? Between the health bars and the buff timers, I think we can agree that the little details making the observance of a jungler to the neutral monsters an advantage are being phased out.
Fzs (NA)
: I think it is ok that the exact health is shown because it was easy to get the exact health of dragon or baron just by right clicking on it with their old health bars anyways. Steals are still about timing
That's what I'm saying, because not everybody bothers to left click them now. If the health is displayed for all to see, then left clicking won't be an advantage anymore. Most junglers will just eyeball the health bar and smite when it looks low enough. If the other jungler happens to be observing the number, then the odds are in their favor to win the smite battle. If it ain't broken, don't fix it :P
Rioter Comments
: So what do you guys wanna do with Taric?
I've got a freaking dope lore plot that would fit the persona that this thread has basically already agreed on :P A decorated Demacian general retires to Ionia, where he marries a graceful healer who he had met in the early years of his service. Together, they raise Taric, and he has a happy childhood in his tranquil surroundings. Taric received his gentle misdemeanor and his strong connection to nature from his mother. They would often take walks through the woods together, where she would teach him to channel the natural healing properties of the world. "Despite his burgeoning understanding of herbs, plants, and animal medicines, it was the power of gems that most fascinated the growing boy". Taric's father molded him into a strong and respectable young man, teaching him to fight in defense of his loved ones, and passing on a sense of humility to him. When Noxus invaded Ionia, Taric's home was among the first to burn. Taric, now a young adult, was able to flee. Taric waited for his parents to join him, but they never emerged from the carnage. Taking refuge in a secluded cave, his anger and confusion had room to grow infinitely. Taric wandered aimlessly until stumbling upon a large deposit of gems. As he took in the dazzling sight, he found a new purpose. Inspired, he crafted his armor and his warhammer from these very gems (for the sake of patching the plot hole, let's just say he was able to karate chop them into shape). As he exited the cave, his new earthen outfit absorbed the sunlight, flooding Taric with the pure, natural energy that gems radiate. Gazing out to the horizon before him, he took a solemn oath to raise his shield against the invaders and salve the wounds of his people. "He wasn't to be a healer, but a defender - one who used the power of earth to preserve and protect."
: Sion
I'll expand on this a bit from my own experiences. Sion will occasionally rotate 90 degrees upon pressing Q, resulting in ruined plays and delayed jungling. His ult does not always manually deactivate like it should, ruining fight initiations and causing him to go on jogging trips while the rest is dealing with a 4v5. I've also experienced both of these abilities stop working altogether, similar to what people have experiences with Vi's Q in the past. The only way to fix this one is by leaving the game and loading back in. In terms of play style, new Sion is right up my alley. However, I won't be picking him again until I can rely on his kit to function. {{champion:14}}

I want a Taric VU so badly!
