: Xin Zhao Gameplay Update - To the Arena!
So Xin is sitting under top tower at level 6, and let's say a half hp level 4 jungle Kindred tries to dive him. Press R, spam laugh, last hit, and triumph. Sounds pretty good to me, might actually make him a little more entertaining to have in a game.
: Unleash Kayn's Carnage to Earn 2 Special Icons
Why do people actually think AI matches are fun? It's 15 minutes of just curbstomping because you think you don't have the time for a normal game. I think it's the same mentality as people that won't play draft pick lmao
: Why are you selling your support items...
Sometimes you actually need another slot in your inventory.
: Intro to Midseason 2017
I know tanks need changes (both to make them less boring and to give them a true archetype) but we're giving already powerful champions more utility and more CC. Sejuani, I understand. She's underplayed in almost every case. Zac and Maokai, on the other hand, are still played for their CC and overall teamfight control since they have trouble even killing themselves. If these are the planned changes to them, I really suggest tuning some numbers elsewhere. Adding to the tank changes, Gargoyle Stoneplate is THE WORST IDEA. Tanks are intended to innately do little damage. Making them do less does nothing for DOUBLING their health pool. With hard tanks having upwards of 5000 health already, making a champion have the ability to walk into a fight and suddenly have 10000 health won't do anything for their archetype. I do like the support changes, making the items more than just a "generate then sell" sort of deal. The same goes for Herald; it isn't just a glorified single target duel winner anymore. It might make sieging a bit easier, but games currently drag on long enough. I think it's time to make them a bit quicker again.
: AHRI ! JUST ONE WORD AHRI AND RIOT STILL IGNORES HER
: Oh noes! 2% above halfway :O What ever should we do?!?! Pick rate is as much affected by how fun it is to play as it is affected by the champion's strength. Statistics like win rate are so disjointed, you can't really extrapolate enough information out of them. * What are his win rates at each Rank? * Is he stronger in certain skill levels? * Are mostly his mains succeeding or are people who are bad with him winning too without enough skill or effort? * etc. You have to ask the big questions, and look at more information than just one all-encompassing number. It's a poor indicator.
That's the thing, Lucian isn't fun to play. You literally just play every button and get kills for it. Tbh all I want to see is his ult damage getting gutted late game because that shit is insane

: But F is for Flash...
: Obligitory "but mah ahri" thread
She's probably so picked because she's been near if not top tier for 4 seasons and virtually unmatched by any mid lane mage/assassin. I like to compare her to Diana, who isn't really played as much but has a similar kit: Passive: Healing vs 3 hit auto buff, boring Q: Skillshot, used mostly for damage (and to reset Diana R) W: Orbs, Ahri's fly off but Diana has to be in melee range E: CC, Ahri's is a skillshot and Diana's is trash and low range R: Dash, Diana's is targeted and puts her in melee range while Ahri has 3 and can do whatever she wants with them. The major difference here is that Ahri has infinitely more escapes along with the potential to skirt on the outside of her opponent's range and poke with **_half true damage_** while other assassins actually have to get into danger to deal damage. I hope a Red sees this thread and considers it.
Fwiffo (EUW)
: So with a 54% winrate and a pickrate close to 20% you actually think "mains" are responsible for the WR? lmao. Sorry, as much as I like the champion, she needs nerfs. Right now she's pretty much back to where she doesn't even need to hit her skillshots to kill you.
I've had a lot of Ahri (and Diana, while we're on the subject) W procs do 800 damage. It's not fun.
: Try Ap or Ad bard top lane,if oyu do well you usually get a good grade. Just make sure you fight in a passive/farm lane, because you will feed against any aggressive top laner like{{champion:240}} {{champion:122}} {{champion:58}} or {{champion:27}} (singed OP) Build {{item:3115}} {{item:3151}} {{item:3089}} and whatever else you want
Multiple people suggested Bard top, which I've done before and gotten an A no matter what I've done lol I'll keep trying
DarianEX (NA)
: You dont enjoy rank because you keep loosing? ._. Maybe thats why?
That's irrelevant. We're talking normal games.
: well the last ranked game on bard you played you didnt really play support you placed like 6 wards in 29min and you didnt buy a single pink ward. grade is not just kda
We're not talking ranked here. And my last Bard ranked game was with my friends I believe, so we were just messing around
: Try him top? Or buy pink wards? Idk
I've done top before, usually still get stuck with A+ on a good game I was going to buy pinks this game but I never had the gold to do it with how my backs went
Rioter Comments
: Do you remember how much his ult used to deal dmg? Now it deals some small percentage and is mostly used just for supress. Malz isn't op because he was nerfed when he was op.
I mean, people used to LITERALLY only use Malz ult for suppress pre-rework. Now you use it to allow your voidlings to get damage down while your E shreds their health.
Nilok (NA)
: Malzahar is not sleeper op, his reworked passive is sleeper op. Everything outside of that passive has been nerfed on Malzahar to accommodate an overpowered passive that nobody enjoys save for people who exploit it.
It's an intended part of his kit, making it utilizing and not exploiting. No matter how dumb it is. He still has waveclear and solo kill potential, just not as much. If you can keep a few voidlings stacked up until you ult then you absolutely murder anyone that isn't building against you. Easily.
: Game: A champion gets ONE little bug that completely breaks the game.
: You know what's hilarious
Especially when her first item is Duskblade so her Q does 80% of your health instead on minion bounce
: Lets Talk Malzahar
Malz isn't weak right now, since you're complaining about him being nerfed. He's sleeper op right now tbh
: Many ranged mid laners that you can take cleanse on do well against malz; orianna, cass, syndra, gp ( not with cleanse), anivia vel koz vlad. And quite a few others, for the most part playing against malz is being knowledgable of the enemy jungler as dieing 1v1 is fairly rare vs him
It is when he just silences you out of your Vel'koz ult. Every. Fucking. Time. Malz is not a fun champion to fight.
: Is this going to be a rework that fails again? Because I don't want my main champion rendered useless from an unnecessary rework. I think she's really balanced and has its counterplays if I'm not blind. I read some Riot comment about "possibly removing the secondary mark on Q" and "delaying W" but whilst "keeping the same damage" and "increasing the skill cap". LB is all about bullying early game, roaming and feeding teammates and end the game mid-game without chance of a late game because that's when LB struggles to carry. But with the delay on W it is now easier to apply CC on her and erased immediately. If this is what increasing skill cap means I don't think Riot has its head straight. Also betting that people who play against her and lost are the primary source of complaint - but if Q's 2ndary mark is removed how is it going to maintain the same damage? It does sound like a QQ please don't remove op dash rant, but trust me I've been people that play just as fine as any other one should be. I've been people that successfully stunned me after W'ing and removing the damage kills its identity. Do admit that all your reworks are close to non-existent or simply bad and you're just removing a champion that also adds excitement to LCS matches and mine as well that's difficult to play against but a LB suited for low elos esp. in high elos where seconds do make a difference in life and death. Tl;dr LB doesn't need a f**king rework - If this is definite, RIP LB, you'll be missed.
You realize with Morello and Void Staff you can one shot the enemy carry? At full build with a Void Staff you can almost one shot a tank ffs Stop complaining about your main getting nerfed, and realize that she's a problem.
Mephyt (NA)
: You know what, fuck it, a 3-hit passive that kills the enemy immediately, sets their death timer to 24 hours, destroys all of their turrets, turns all minions to super minions that spawn non-stop, and when the game is over, they get banned permanently.
but he has like .01 attackspeed so it's a hard late game scaling :^)
: If Akali isn't feast or famine, and always does something even when not fed, then she shouldn't be better than Khazix when both are fed. I main both Khazix and Akali, and both champions are cool to me. I have to admit that Khazix is a higher skillcap though. He's worse at chasing. If you dash, and they knock you back, you lost that kill. If you dash as Akali and they knock you back, you have 2 more dashes.
> [{quoted}](name=xXWukong360Elite,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=o95PEAT7,comment-id=00060001000000000000,timestamp=2016-10-02T18:53:37.665+0000) > > If Akali isn't feast or famine, and always does something even when not fed, then she shouldn't be better than Khazix when both are fed. That's what we call piss poor design, welcome to Riot.
: He is though. Between a fed Khazix and a fed Akali there's really no reason to play Khazix in terms of winning the game. And I'm saying this as someone who is constantly fed and averages 23.2 kills per game with Khazix over 100+ games. I only play Khazix to practice my mechanics better since he's higher skillcap than Akali.
You say higher skillcap, but you literally just Q people and jump away. It takes 0 effort. And besides, that's because Akali isn't a feast/famine champion. She ALWAYS does something because that's her design.
: Death Blossom Khazix and Mecha are good skins. Guardian of the sands isn't the best imo. The champ is a bit underpowered and needs a buff. You should get boots earlier. I evolve E first.
Don't call Kha underpowered. Ever. He's feast or famine, but he isn't underpowered. If he gets a kill or two early he two shots people.
: I...I Might Be A Kha'Zix Main Now...
Finrar (NA)
: @Meddler Direction of Kha'Zix
kha can already 1v1 a rengar if he plays right

: People who are new and too afraid of ruining other people's games. Empathy, the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, drives this pretty hard. I know what it feels like to have some clueless noob in game completely running around with his/her head creating a huge handicap. No one likes 4v5s. So as a new player with this level of empathy, they will do anything and everything, learn as much as possible, before venturing into a public game where your performance affects others. Also, xp wise, its faster just to grind bot games. Its a guaranteed win (so long as MOST of your team is HUMAN that is!) >.<
mi amigo with the logic bomb
: assassins are probably still going to one shot. It just won't be instant.
right, it won't be instant which means rengar won't be literally killing people in 0.00 seconds from stealth (which they thankfully nerfed but I've still seen it)
: Is there a way how I can get Kayle removed from my account after this? She's the one champion I haven't bought and she tilts me so hard that I don't want her on my account. ;_;
inb4 you always get kayle in random modes
: Keep cycling champion identity? You must be a special kind of stupid. Riot tried to nerf Kassidin while KEEPING his identity as an assassin. HE IS SUPPOSED TO ONE SHOT PEOPLE. Just like EVERY OTHER ASSASSIN. The ONE thing that makes an assassin an assassin is the DAMAGE. The problem is that you are a whiny bitch that hates assassins.
that's why riot themselves are reworking assassins because they one shot people and they don't like that
: Buff Sir nashor please
that's how broken lifesteal is as a stat, plus cait's passive is really powerful
: Fair enough; I'll do that. Teemo's current AP scaling on his Q is 80% though so I think I'm going to leave the scaling split as 30% AP and 50% AD like I have it. That means that full AP Teemo in this kit is going to rely on the damage from his E and you won't be nuked by his Q whereas full AD Teemo will benefit more for the passive changes and get more damage out of the Q. I think it's a decent balancing option and promotes having different build options as well. Well... actually it would end up about the same since you can have more AP than AD.... I'll lower the base damage and change the scalings to 20% AP and 60% AD. That should balance it out so that the Q will do more damage on an AD Teemo than on an AP Teemo... I think anyways; I might need to do some build math to find out for sure. lol
: I see what you're saying. I look into better ratios for it. Admittedly I had debated getting rid of the blinding effect but I decided that that's one of the things he's most known for is his blind. Do you think that it might be better if I reduced the base damage stats but slightly upped the AD and/or the AP ratios or should I reduce the base stats and leave the rest?
I would just reduce the damage a bit, I'm just happy that would pretty much negate full Tankmo and make him build sort of bruiser-y
: The Q damage ratios are actually nerfed from the current damage on the live servers and the base damage was increased to make up for it being a skill shot instead of a point and click like it currently is. I don't understand how it's obscene. This version of the ability has more counterplay than it's point and click original. I even increased the CD of the ability for good measure.
I'll admit I just looked at it quickly and it looked like normal, making it a skillshot is better but the ratios aren't what I'm worried about, it's the ~200 average base damage so it's basically a Kennen Q with a blind
: Teemo, The Merciless Scout (FULL KIT REWORK PROPOSAL)
So we're giving Teemo two passives, a better Quinn W, obscene damage on his Q, REALLY OBSCENE DAMAGE ON HIS E, and traps that explode on contact with an enemy? We need to nerf ADCs and rework important champions first before I would even consider touching Teemo, and definitely not in this way.

Defensive stats are required if you want to survive and especially if you want to fight a nasus. 1 component of Black Cleaver> Ninja Tabi> Finish Black Cleaver> Ravenous Hydra> Then defensive items based on what you need. Triforce is already not that great on fiora so building it first item is even worst. Tanks out scale squishy champions because they have high base damage and squishy champions typically stick with base armor and MR, but once you build even a single item against them it changes the fight completely.
> [{quoted}](name=HongChongDong,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=AcqkxBdx,comment-id=00000001000000000000,timestamp=2016-08-23T11:20:06.969+0000) > Tanks out scale squishy champions because they have high base damage and squishy champions typically stick with base armor and MR, but once you build even a single item against them it changes the fight completely. The one problem with that statement is that you can't even call Nasus a tank. He's a hard bruiser. Fiora works the same way with her true damage, but she's been nerfed and infinite scaling hasn't? THEY JUST BUFFED VEIGAR.

: But I got to add, every time I am playing Quinn Top, I am guaranteed to get a First Blood 95 percent of the time. Quinn's early game is OP but mid and late, meh, not good. I want to become slave of Valor and Quinn, I worship them
Her damage is overpowered through the whole game, what are you saying? They needed/still need to nerf her passive damage since after her rework she can apply it literally 3 times in one combo, plus her ult needs to have some sort of cooldown so you can't run around and execute people. She's like full AD Sion minus the lack of control, plus she has one of the most obnoxious CC effects in this whole fucking game.
: Quinn - TriForce??
I build triforce on pretty much every top laner and even most of my junglers. The spellblade burst on top of every stat just makes the item so broken. Maybe if they reduced the damage to 50% for ranged champions? Either way, Quinn building it is perfect because of the bonus burst on top of your auto attacks and **broken** passive, then you throw in the burst from her Q and her ulting in. She can pretty much 100-0 with 2 items.
: Quinn Tips?
refund quinn i don't want to see any more quinn players
: Nasus is in a good spot. Easy to abuse him out of his lane and punishes people who don't know how to abuse him, pretty standard champion balance.
***Just fought a Nasus as Fiora and lost because he's pretty bullshit, our jungler went afk, and our ADC was useless even though he got kills early, so I might be a little salty here fyi*** --------------- So Nasus. A good spot? I had him at 42 stacks at 10 minutes. I left lane for literally a minute to go steal their jungler's blue, and he already had over doubled his stacks to 90. : Why are Teemo and Karthus automatically banned on One for All but not Sona?
Then let's just disable Kalista then. You shouldn't die from each of them aaing you once into one rend. And how about Warwick, he's so op. He can suppress one person for 15 seconds! ***ofc the first one is legit but the second is a joke***

That's the gingerbread ward with a fucked up name. Someone at Riot didn't double check their code.
: A Yasuo change that not only makes sense, but also is rather fair to the champion.
actually, yeah. combine this with possibly reducing the overall e damage by 5, and this sounds great
moonborn (EUW)
: i doubt whether support team had this confirmed. normally from what i read from countless posts from riot they made clear that nobody can be banned for building different items or picking one or another champion that "is not supposed to be there". you can go soraka mid and you are fine. or karthus support. you also don't even have to build a sightstone if you don't want to(which is a bit selfish but it's your call).
He posted this. http://imgur.com/a/8PXRZ This is more from trying dumb shit in ranked and not talking to the team about picks, it's like the rush of people that are going to first pick Kled without knowing what the fuck they're doing.
Eggbread (NA)
: If Anything Is Done About Yasuo...
Comparing him to Talon was a bad choice. Let's look at something else. Ramping E damage making you max that, fine. Means his Q is going to hit max damage later, so his early game isn't as much of a problem as you would think. They should lower his E damage by like 5 per rank though, I know people are going to disagree, but having an AP spell do 200 damage to a champion at rank 3 isn't cool. What the ACTUAL problem is, however, is that his ult has a 16 second cooldown at 45% CDR at max rank. That means you can basically use it twice in a fight, resulting in keeping your enemies in the air for approximately 5 seconds depending on how many knockups you land and how long you wait to ult. The other problem is what people actually complain about, his passive. Double crit and a free 200 health shield for walking around? Sign me the FUCK up.
