I like mid bard with wit's end > rfc > luden's, dont play it often but when I do it is fun. Also there is trinity bard and gunblade bard which I call these because after those items you get a lot of options. Bard jungle is my favorite with thunderlords or bond of stone. warrior > trinity > swiftness boots > ardent or gunblade > what you want after. Warrior gives cdr and I generally go challenging, sometimes I dont get trinity but the phage and the cdr is nice.

{{champion:432}} chime tiers take one third as long along with added tiers for the other two halfs. Up to 27 meeps, that's cooldown gets to nearly zero and every meep does triple magic damage with a 90% ap ratio per meep. His movement speed would be even more fast with chimes, along with nearly full mana back from one chime and leveling up faster than everyone else. Heck passive might be so good jungle bard might become meta just to non stop roam for all the chimes. His addiction (along with every bard main) will get worse and so no way he can be a support as he leaves for three times as long. Finally the slow will have to be tripled so I guess up to 98% slow or something. a lot of stuff for a fun crazy passive that would turn him into a sustained damage mage with the most unfair slow in the game or a support or bruiser who can still out damage other champions with really high base magic stats. Also the secret 10 000 chime buff to bard is now at 3 333. {{champion:35}} deals more damage backstabbing. Any build with shaco will become viable except a healing support's (unless he gets stoneborn pact) and bruiser builds will become popular where he will be able to one-shot most things (especially with his ult which applies backstab too) while tanking everything. Ie might become a must though.

If you main him doesn't 100% matter because if you aren't very high elo (even diamond might be to low) you probably aren't going to have a easy time. Every other champ gets a pass on this with the community raging at Azir, kalista and kindred because they were nerfed while bard gets no rage because he has simply fallen out of the meta. according to op.gg and champion.gg he is currently very weak and a rioter said that Bard is basically getting the azir and kalista treatment. More specifically, they said he was the hardest support and should have a low win rate. This may be true but, I feel he isn't even that great in higher elo solo que because op.gg shows he does well in challenger and okay in masters but, blitzcrank has a higher play and win rate in challenger. If they are going to keep him as a better pick in higher elo they may as well make him top tier so people in lower elo can play him. I see a negative upvote on my comment so I just want to create an additional point that most Bard mains seem not to care from what I have seen. Probably because they are thankful he is better than where he started but, again people are playing him way less. I feel Bard is still fun and I can assume the decrease in his win rate is because last season he was sitting at around a 48-49% win rate while this season he has been as low as 44% at points. Again going back to the point that he is garbage specifically now.

Bard is garbage right now on top of that. So, it should be a bannable offense to play bard if your team doesn't want you to by the same logic.

If we look towards the Singed case, Riot gave clarification to the individual on how to be a better teammate and how to better accomodate letting his team know what the plan was. Since he's going so far off meta, he needs to give his team more help to let them know how to work with him. The Singed is not banned and is still going strong. The Nunu didn't heed and adjust to what happened in the Singed case so... here we are.
From what I heard from the singed case, he communicated fine and now he had to get someone to duo que with.

I agree, a context mention on surrender at 20 for this current patch had a rioter say bard should have a lower win rate because he is a the hardest support. I get from this that he has been kalistaed and azired without even being a dominate force in higher elo. Besides, this no one would accept any other championed being so weak. Kindred, azir and kalista had and still have people begging for buffs while bard sits at a point where you can't play him well unless you are the best of the best. I wouldn't be so uneasy about this if it wasn't for the fact that Blitz is in a reverse state and is not dealt with. He is ridiculously good in low elo while also (according to op.gg) being better than bard in high elo solo que (more plays and higher win rate in challenger). It might be because bard was banned in lcs but, look at nami. I feel it is a little unfair that Bard has to be considered the only acceptable low win rate champion. Every once in a while I search the forums for posts about bard being weak (started season 7 since it was such a hard hit to him) and no one talks about it. I am glad to see someone make a post.

I'd like new maps that are somewhat similar to summoner's rift. If they got popular, they could become part of the game where everyone votes on a map to play at the start with summoner's rift being one of them. Each map is 5v5, and usually; the same size. They have different camps, and look very different. But, it needs to be very similar to summoner's rift to keep the balance close and the map is a huge part of this game. Dota's main map is similar for a reason the three lanes, three towers per lane, and jungle between with a river adds a lot of the enjoyment to the game as well.

Either way I don't think he will need a compensation nerf because according to op.gg in plat+ in na and korea he has one of the lowest win rates as support and his pick rate is declining between patches. Champion.gg says similar, except his play rate went up at 6.23 before continuing to drop. On top of this redemption got nerfed and it synergized very well with bard. Regardless, I play him off-meta most of the time and when I play him support I now get trinity after boots and eye of the water. I think ap bard is too weak early game but, he scales with %ap ratio so late game it is nice to go hybrid. I thinks magic pen early for a ap build might be nice, I have taken wit's end early and it created a nice early power spike but, actual ap I find isn't good enough.
Also interesting info, apparently according to champion.gg, he synergizes really welly with Ziggs and no one else lol. Even on Zigg's Page they have him ranked highest with Ziggs.

His W actually used to have a worse scaling, before it was buffed you would just go tank Bard or the cheesy full damage Ap Bard. I don't think Bard needs tank or ms buffs. That would probably break him. He is _the most slippery champion in the game_, if you don't screw up. And while its easy af to screw up as Bard, he is literally unchasable in the jungle if he does it right. His laning aint that bad, least the way I play him. I bring Thunderlords because windspeakers is garbage due to how you can't heal multiple allies at once, or heal often like a Sona or Nami can. Also Thunderlords enhances his bullying power. A % missing health heal would be nicer on his W, but he would need compensation nerfs.

OMG he is worse than thresh. Maybe thresh's skill ceiling is higher (IDK) but the skill floor on bard is so damn high. He is squishy with a huge hit box and one of his goals is to leave the safety of his lane to pick up items that can be in the enemy jungle. I compare him to thresh because that is who people say is a high skill cap support. Yes he requires some things to be useful but, bard requires that not to feed much less be useful. Being a lane bully is risky but, is what he is supposed to be. Since he is a bit of everything you need to know match-ups to know if doing one thing is safer versus another thing and finally his ult makes you not just feed when bad but, unintentionally troll too.

The mana part is fair but, I also hate when he holds his q as it can zone you really hard. Positioning and Strategy are barely true though. He can do some smart grabs from over wall and such but, really doesn't need to, to be effective and the real only thought he has to do is say "do I want this person in my life" and if the answer is yes (Which almost always is) you try to grab them. Also, adcs have to position 100 times more better than blitz as he can literally just run past your minion wave if he wants since his mana shield allows good escape. He needs a rework because the identity I see him currently have is an easier thresh who is also better but, with less late game power simply because all he is is his q. You mention the mana and cd of his pull, that is the only ability worth anything. Sometimes other abilities come in handy in helping you with your q but, they all are way less noticably or impactful. Take his e, if they reworked him they could just put it on his q because sure it is some peel but, I feel something else could be put in place of it. I played him three games and got an S in two of the, I don't play him because he is boring. You don't feel like you did much just your champion did. Everyone talks about how garen is easy or yi or annie but, they are all at least somewhat more skill based since two of them have to be close to people for an extended period of time and cannot bring someone to them and their allies they have to get themself to the enemy giving them the advantage to position. Annie is at least squishy and has to lane. It is cool if they want blitz to be good for newer people but, as many complain about annie; at least make him not top tier or everyone will play him simply because he is both easy and good so you make less mistakes while getting a good win rate in ranked.

They are going to give him a full vgu in the future I just meant to hold Shaco over since this was supposed to do exactly that but, instead shifted the meta on him and damaged some of his very weird identity. Personally I like some of the changes bc I like ap and hybrid bruiser shaco but, I feel bad for ad mains and would love to have an excuse to play it more.

I feel shaco is getting nerfed ap because they didn't mean to make it the meta option, just better and they said he needs a full vgu. I don't know why when he hasn't been hard to balance and if being annoying is a qualification blitzcrank should be top of the list. Still, if he needs that much they probably don't want him to be top tier or even mid tier. I am really sad they are nerfing his e, it still feels very weak and I get it effects the early game less as much but, a small compensation like %missing health damage would help. also, Kind of random but I want them to make ad shaco do something special with backstab + regular crit. Maybe does 190% damage on backstab and percent penetration. Would be cool. Or crit with ap scaling on backstab, a lot of creative ideas could come out of it. I just feel bad the passive is non existent if you build full crit.

Also his q I find more of a buff as no pinks and when you get to 4.5 seconds it feels great. People have been maxing it first and I do. The 1.5 s is a nerf though.

I have been building a build that got me to mastery level 7 with shaco with two S within the first 3 games played. I go {{item:3077}}, {{item:1409}} or {{item:1413}}, {{item:3117}} (prob going to change my boot choice), {{item:1082}}, {{item:3748}}, one other tank item likely {{item:3742}} but if against mages whilst having some mages on my team I go {{item:3001}} , {{item:3041}}, and finally what ever I feel like. The {{item:3748}} gives a nice power spike while you are tough enough to escape most things so as long as you can build stacks, you will hardly lose them on {{item:3041}}. The preseason update made the {{item:1409}} + {{item:3077}} very useful for aoe clear while dealing with the new burst. Any %missing health stat with lowered ratios on stuff is a call for a tanky build. Finally I go 0/12/18 for my mastery with my keystone as the one next to coc, can't remember the name but, the juggernaut one. Thunderlords is currently glitched to not proc on backstabs. I believe it was Meddler, who responded in a post saying they would fix that along with the crit problem. I personally do not like the fix to the crit problem as they are just making your backstab do regular crit damage on backstab with nothing else. I wish they would give you some reward for building what was meta not many patches ago, though I rarely built him that way I feel bad for the ones who did.

The IE increases your passives damage though, so the current highest win rate with Shaco right now is something like: {{item:1414}} {{item:3146}} {{item:3100}} {{item:3020}} {{item:3031}} and one other ap item I can't remember.
: I can't give an ETA, sorry, but Shaco is on the list of those due some love. The story you mention is just a pitch that I know one of the writers is looking to seek his teeth into, but he has a bunch of stuff on his plate. I know when your favorite Champ hasn't received the attention he or she deserves it can be frustrating, but, as you can see from Universe, Piltover, and from what is to come, various teams are working on content to fill the gaps we know exist. We're all looking forward to when we have in place the content we want for all our Champions.
Have there been any talks of Shaco knowing Jhin or Lulu? Jhin is a lot like Shaco (invisible traps, exploding knives, and theater masks) and Lulu has a song with Shaco.

Yes please, this is why I take relic shield on support Shaco. Sometimes ancient coin but, that is when I want to go ap and know this item isn't available.

Yeah, so much is viable on Shaco already I would love to see these work as well. So many interesting builds could be formed but, I feel these two would make the boxes too mean to opponents.
