: After doing some of my own testing, I have found that With Stalker's Blade: * Smite becomes quieter overall regardless of what you smite and whether you last hit with it or begin with it. * Smite has a different sound effect when using it on champions (starts off normally and then has a rumble past the normal duration of the sound effect). Also quiet. With Poacher's Knife: * Quieter regardless of camp (as Stalker's) * Possibly a louder, different sound effect on a kill in the enemy jungle; could have just been Gromp. Didn't test more than one camp due to forgetfulness. With Skirmisher's Sabre: * Once again, quieter regardless of camp (as Stalker's) * Same sound effect on champions With Ranger's Trailblazer * Quieter (as Stalker's) Without any items/With Hunter's Machete: * Smite sounds the same as before the patch In addition, I was playing Shyvana for both the above testing and when I noticed the difference.

: Change the Smite sound effect back
> Can we get smite's sound effect reverted? I noticed that I could hardly hear it when I or the enemy jungler used it. Smite's sound effect was amazing before and doesn't even seem to be present currently. Thanks for the feedback The Archive! We haven't made any changes the main Smite sound recently. We've added a few new smaller sounds for the new Smite item upgrades for the 2015 season changes to help communicate game-play information, but the core Smite sound has stayed consistent. I wonder if these items are bugged? Was this just the normal Smite summoner spell? or one of the item upgraded Smite items available now? When did you start noticing this? Any additional info you can provide would be helpful when looking into this.

I also adjusted his Attack Commands for this upcoming patch to more closely match what I'm doing for Sion and Kalista. After the patch goes out, I'd love to hear any additional feedback!

This is something we are definitely trying to stay on top of as we add new types of VO for champions and skins. It's definitely a challenge to find the right balance between providing clear game play feedback while also giving depth and flavor to the characters in new and unique ways. For Sion I think this may have gone a bit too far in one direction. We've taken steps in the coming patch (on PBE now) to address the rate at which you hear some of Sion's VO when using spells and many other scenarios. If you have some time, we'd love to hear what you think once you play him again!

Braum doesn't have any interactions with Volibear, but he does have several taunt and shield block interactions with other Champions though...
