Will be awesome to learn more about minotaurs and the place they have in Runeterra ! More about Niander Ordylon ''The Beastmaster'', what happened to him ! I sincerly think, he can become a great champion as a jungler of some sort ! Just the name Ordylon is pure awesome (good job for the short story Ian St-Martin). Freljord is my favorite region since im a huge norse sagas and mythology, so i want to know more about the Watchers and Volibear (im ecstatic about the rework).

: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: October 18
Im a little bit concerned about the sharing exp that will be nerfed for junglers since the xp for the camps will be reduced too. Junglers already level slowly because of camps experience are less than what solo lanes have, so it happens pretty often after a gank that we shove lane with laner to push the lane but also to gain xp. Are theses changes will just make junglers permaganking machine since kill/assist will be more valuable than doing camps ? And I can see the better way to gain xp easily will be to farm lane when laner will not be there. What is your goal with the gameplay of junglers with theses changes, im just curious ? Also, since the sharing xp will be less, is it possible that we can see some comp with two junglers and no support, is it something you thought about and tested ?

Then, prepared by his evening meditation, he walked through his forms: the Undying Eagle, the Clever Lynx, the**Iron Boar**, and a dozen more spirit beasts." The "iron boar" might be Ildhaurg, since she's probably praying to the demi-gods, so Ildhaurg can be one of them :) but this is just my opinion... : Along the same lines of having the Ultimate ability really make the champion feel like a totem master, what if his Ultimate was available at level 1 like the transforming champions (Nidalee, Elise, Jayce, etc.) and you place a "greater totem." The greater totem looks almost like a miniature tower or something of decent size and significance, and you can move it with your passive, and when you're within a certain range from your greater totem, your abilities get stronger. I jungle and personally have wanted to see the Shaman type character able to jungle and I always love seeing champions that can flex oddly but still work (Like Sejuani support or Hecarim Top). I don't know how you would do it but I think you could feasibly power up all his abilities around it. Like his Q instead releases 5 bolts rather than 3, his W gives allies a major movement buff when moving towards the greater totem and enemies a major slow when running away from it, and E maybe passively heals when you and allies at a flat rate (like, if red buff is 20 health a second, give it 20 health a second healing for the greater totem, but its split over all champions in the area so if it's bot lane, the two share the healing only healing 10 health a second or in a late game team fight it's only 3 health per champ if there are 5 grouped or something like that or make it so you and your allies have to channel the greater totem to get the passive healing). I think another minor thing could be for his E, having it be a point and click, single target ability normally, but if you use it on a ward, the ward bursts turning it into an AoE heal with less healing but a minor buff that gives more health regen for a certain period of time. Really cool concept, I know Riot has discussed a Shaman champion and cannot decide on a play style. If they dropped this I think it would be super cool. Hopefully he isn't locked into a single role and is able to be flexed throughout the map (but imo I think many more champions should have this capability but that's just me) xD Great stuff!

Yeah that R idea is really great and it go in the same way to what **The Djinn** is saying, it will fix the problem of just placing wards for fighting and healing and lacking on the vision part. Considering the thematic of his kit was in my head: a support that feel the totemic shaman archetype and play with vision. I think the same way, I like that champions can be flexed in many roles, it give them adaptability which is fun, could totally see Svalder in the midlane for the vision presence he can offers or maybe in the jungle with some tweaks to his kit !
: I think the layout might be the biggest draw here, it really allows readers to get to the meat of what ur going fo right away. They don't have to figure out your design goals by reading the kit, its very open and clear, that makes this design shine out the most among the others, also the theme/kit/design goals are very attractive. I like support and am always looking for ways to make them cooler, the fact that this is trying to evolve the Enchanter class this was VERY insightful of how wards are used and how they can be used with an Enchanter, this is soo gud i can barely understand it based on what Djinn said maybe you could make ur R place down totems from stocks like Teemos ult, and then so u can still empower Fighters with low mobility you can just grant all allies within a certain radius a MS buff and shield towards totems that were recently placed.

I think you're right to call out the riskiness of this concept, but I think with a few tweaks you could rein in the complexity and limit the potential game health issues you could expect to find with a kit built around wards. As you probably know, vision is one of, if not the single most important mechanic in League, and it determines the outcome of fights all the time. Here are my thoughts on the kit: Passive- really sweet idea and definitely worth building the rest of the kit around. Being able to cast spells from totems and having empowered wards in your trinket slot is super fun and clever. Just to be clear, Svalder has to be channeling a totem to use his abilities through it, right? Q- A Lulu style ability here makes total sense. I didn't quite understand how it could be used with multiple wars simultaneously. I think a simpler approach would be: this spell always originates from Svalder + the nearest allied ward within ~1000 units of him. Stacking multiple hits up over the three blasts to get the stun is very fun (and fair). Reminds me of Nunu E. W- This is certainly powerful, but I actually think you could do away with the aiming paradigm you've created. This spell seems much better suited as a point-and-click spell on an ally or enemy. I feel like you could create rank-up incentives here so that the duration the champion is untargetable scales with spell rank, but make this spell unattractive to rank up first (where Q offers damage and E provides healing, which should be tuned to be more important than the utility of W). This Champion is already pretty tough to play, so I think offering some reliable utility on this spell (like Lulu's polymorph) would help broaden his appeal. If Svalder is channeling a ward, his cast range of his spell is based on the ward, right? So he could use this to support his top laner in a fight? E- Pretty clever but lacks decision-making or counterplay. I think you could push this spell further by saying Svlader puts a HoT on himself that can bounce to nearby allies or allied wards. If he's controlling a ward, the HoT can bounce to nearby allies from its location instead. Each time it bounces, the HoT could refresh and stack. This would transform wards into healing fountains or dispensers and let him create a healing aura network around a big team fight. What do you think? R- This one has the most griefing potential and fits the least thematically with the rest of the kit. I wouldn't be sad if this spell was completely reworked to provide more ward-centered gameplay. What if Svalder can teleport to a ward, similar to Tahm Kench's ultimate? What if he created a shockwave that destroyed or disabled all nearby enemy wards (or revealed them) and he grew stronger for each one he hits? If this guy is the totem master, I want to feel it in this spell! It should be the most totem-mastery thing he does!

Passive: Svalder just need to channel a ward to control it, he doesn't need to do that to use his spells from the totems/wards. Q: From where the totems/wards are standing, so it means that he can throws his first Q blast to the Draven enemy with the X ward let say and throw the second blast of the Q with the Y ward at the same Draven to make an unexpected attack. W: My first thought for the W was to make it a point-and-click too, what have backed me from doing it so was that I wanted to have a counterplay for enemies and Riot recently tend to more and more make this mechanic disappear. Nonetheless, considering that the other part of his kits are really skill-shot relevant, I think it can be a good thing to have ''friendlier ability'' to use. E: Your idea is awesome ! Thats perfect and iam all in into this ! Its just pure cleverness and the bouncing/HoTs feel so appealing and make really more sense like that ! R - Yep your right too, the ultimate feels lackluster and thematically off (in my head this was more a spell that matched his lore). Plus, there is already a lot of ''teleportation'' spells in the game (Ryze, Galio, Pantheon, Tahm Kench, Twisted Fate even Taliyah) so there is room to do better. Like The Djinn pointed out with the wards/totems mechanic, Svalder use them to fight so its inevitable that he will ward way less that he is supposed to do as a support and thats counter-intuitive for the role. So as LittleOak said, one of the best way to fix this, should be to incorporate part of his passive in the ultimate and make him able to use unique totems and level his R since level 1. What if he created a shockwave that destroyed or disabled all nearby enemy wards (or revealed them) and he grew stronger for each one he hits? I really like this part too !

Now we have added more regions to our sensitivity checks to ensure that this doesn't happen again, as we'd love for all our names to have parity.

What you think about Volibear name ? I can understand that you can't rename it since the players base need to keep knowing who he is after the rework and because of the merchs but it would be nice if you utilize ''The Volibear'' more like a title or surname instead of a proper name (imo he needs to have a norse inspired thematic name in the way of Olaf, Ornn, Ivern, Gragas, Braum and Udyr ! But thats not gonna happen)

"Tobias" essentially means "God is good", but Tobias himself is anything but someone who would believe in such a statement. His last name, "Felix", is well-known to mean "lucky" in Latin, which of course, fits his and his family's magic. However, it can also mean "happy", which is also ironic. Ahri = Means beautiful in Korean ("ari"), with an H added in the middle for flair. Back in the day, Riot even had the Korean playerbase choose her name. Aurelion Sol = Golden Sun. Can you get more awesome than that? Cassiopeia = Named after Queen Cassiopeia in Classical Mythology, mother of Andromeda (Perseus's wife). It was her vanity and hubris (claiming to be more beautiful than the Nereids, a bad idea) that caused Andromeda to get tied up to a rock as a sacrifice. And eventually she gets turned to stone by Perseus's Medusa head. League of Legends's Cassiopeia certainly fits the vanity portion, as well as the karmic fate. But ironically, it's *she* who becomes the gorgon who can turn people to stone, instead of having it done to her. *Also, her real name apparently means "cassia juice". Uh...make of that what you will. Brand = Firebrand. Not too hard. Fiora = "Flower" in Italian, except with an A at the end instead of an E. I suppose calling her "Fleur" would stray too close to Harry Potter territory. But it certainly fits someone who is supposed to emulate fleur-de-lis era France. Annie = Grace or Graciousness. : I wrote a post posing the same question but didn't get a Riot response, take an upvote so hopefully we get an answer. A tl;dr on my thoughts is that even though monsters don't sell as well, the fact we haven't got one since Aurelion (or Rek'sai if you want a more monstrous monster) is pretty depressing and Riot should release one for old times sake, it's been 4 years. Unfortunately, Yuumi is likely to be the non- humanoid. I actually really like Yuumi's design but I really like monster champs so hopefully we get one soon.

: There’s a lot of content and media that will be featuring Illaoi coming up (mostly 2020 and beyond). Fittingly, i think, as she was designed to be a “tough mentor” character who pushes people to be their best, motivates growth, forces people to fight for what they believe in (both within “the test” and outside it) and leads people to fight for humanity in the face of undeath snd other horrors. Also leading an extremely powerful organization and having a variety of secret knowledge puts her in a sort of Nick Fury role— who arguably is in more books and movies than any other marvel character.

Champs on the VGU list are ineligible for skins Yes, it doesn’t mean they got new skins, but there is a significant difference between someone like Skarner or Xerath going a long time without skins compared to Nunu. It’s dishonest reporting to list it like that.

: While {{champion:35}} is indeed very binary and boring to play currently, I don't think his kit requires huge changes to make him interesting. Been brainstorming a little about him lately and concluded that his passive, jacks and ultimate could remain almost the same. Now, about his stealth and shiv, these are my ideas (please take them with a grain of salt, I'm no expert) Q: Deception Zone Shaco distorts reality in a large area, becoming invisible and gaining movement speed (greater bonus when chasing champions) while in it. Shaco can break and re-enter stealth 1-3 times (scales with ability rank). Cooldown: around 25-20 seconds.Shaco re-stealths 1 second after appearing, placing a jack in the box doesn't reveal him. Same applies to hallucinate's clone. My idea is that this has a large cast range and the actual field is slightly larger than Trundle's W. Cooldown is obviously much longer than his current Q, no gap-closer or wall jumping, just a small ms boost which increases when chasing enemy champions. With this ability his tricky and deceptive nature are explored further while giving enemies a clearer way to fight back (enemies are notified with VFX and SFX when they are in the zone, long cooldown). W: Jack in the Box Mainly unchanged. Probably minor balance adjustments. E: Two Shiv Poison Passive: While this a ability is off cooldown, Shaco's basic attacks poison his target, dealing magic damage for X seconds, stacking up to 3 times. (Bonus damage to monsters) Hallucinate's clone's basic attacks deals bonus damage to fully stacked targets. Active: Shaco throws his dagger dealing execute damage, briefly slowing and refreshing the poison on the target. Can only be cast on fully stacked targets. With this ability Shaco's enemies have more time to react to his burst while Shaco is rewarded with more damage if he can successfully get 3 hits in. R: Hallucinate Same as W. ------- These are my ideas for a smaller scale VGU for Shaco. I think it adds more depth to his gameplay while retaining everything his mains love about him,even the AP cheese build. What do you guys think?
It will be nice if Shaco was able to apply different kind of poisons (one slow, one reduce attack speed, one paralyze etc) on his blades.

Nice suggestion ! I think it will fit perfectly by doing so ! I hope they make him some freljordian voicelines too, it will be cheeling and way more immersive to hear him raging is hunger in old freljordian ! Ornn song was majestic.

Are champions names possible to be reworked too ? Like for Nunu, Willump was added (and for good reason). It feel weird to me to have a freljordian warbear god name ending with bear and not with a more scandinavian norse name pattern. Im dedicated as Malicous Metal with my freljordian raiders !

Next champion will be a yordle man with an attached mechanic. In the teaser image you have like five circles that are like the one in the Bandle City banner faction so im pretty sure it will be a yordle and indeed a male one since Reav3 used the word purrfect instead of perfect to emphasize this. Yordle females have there fur more ''flat'' and males ones are way more ''furryesque'' (Rumble, Ziggs, Kled, Heimerdinger for example). Key things: - Traditional enchanter support - Mechanic related to ''attached'' (emphasize on the word attached) - Yordle male (use of purrfect instead of perfect even if you use subtitles purrfect stay writing like this) Thats my bet and I guessed Ornn, Neeko and Sylas mechanics right !
