: Glacial Buff needs a nerf, BADLY
There should be an immunity timer after getting stunned. You shouldn't be able to get permastunned since there isn't a Tenacity item in the game yet. Something like: After the stunned effect ends the target cannot be stunned by the Glacial Trait for 4/3/2 (scaling down with units) seconds.

: Riot giving Annie more Damage/Mobility shows they are still clueless about League's biggest Problem
Yeah, but they absolutely destroyed her defensive ability lol. 16 second cool down for 50% movement speed for 1.5 second and only reduces 8% damage. She's going to have a harder time engaging if she keeps getting poked out. I don't think these changes were good. I think Pyromania could have a stack feature on it. 0 stacks = nothing 1 stack = 5% movement speed 2 stacks = 7% movement speed 3 stacks = 25% movement speed for 3 seconds after getting initial stack, but drops off to 10% therefter. (this has an internal cooldown of 30/20/10 seconds) 4 stacks = stun Stacks now drop off by 1 after a spell hasn't been cast for x amount of seconds. That way she can't just keep it up, but it gives her a minor boost to her speed. It also allows the enemy to breathe if Annie isn't keeping her Stun up all game because it'll drop off.
: Hextech bomb needs to be gutted or re-worked.
TBH they should make it a 3 champ ability and remove the 2/4 champion synergy tiers. The targeting can stay the same, but the disable duration should be reduced to 3-4 seconds. 8 Seconds is way too long considering units WITH items can get deleted in 2 seconds at the start of a match. By increasing the amount of units required, it could hurt other synergies you need/want instead of getting 2 hextechs to fit wherever you throw them.
: Pantheon is a nerfed version of his former self
Give him a week or two... geez. At least he has the ability to go in late game and not die instantly due to his new E. So he might perform better overall.

: You know Panth Rework is balanced because he is at 43% win rate
...It's been a day. A lot of people (experienced and not) are playing him and will most likely lose until they get better at him. Wait 2 weeks before you pull that kind of data lol.
: Unpopular opinion: Bans didn't make ARAM less random than rerolls do
Why don't they include bans and allow both sides to get the same champs? I don't see a problem with having the same champ on either side.

Dude. FFIV is lit. It's not as serious as other MMOs, but it's done wonderfully and it's very immersive. Everyone's friendly and just has fun playing through the game. + you don't have to worry about making multiple toons. I recommend it. Only been playing for 2 weeks but I'm having a blast.

: Entering a Odyssey Lobby be like...
TBH, I built BOTRK and Guinsoo's as Jinx and I ended up with 48k damage at the end of a match compared to our Crit Jinx who did around 28k. She killed more enemies than I did but I had that long term damageeeee.
: ARAM - Removing Warmogs without nerfing the heck out of poke was a terrible idea
TBH, I haven't noticed a problem without Warmogs. Tanks are still just as strong because the group heal helps everyone and allows them to engage easier if people get greedy trying to get healed. Plus with Spectral Cutlass being a dumb item, it really helps champs get in and out to assassinate. I haven't seen J4 go tank even a slight bit in any game I've had because of this item. The only comps I've won with that were 'poke' oriented centered around having more CC than the enemy team and not range.
: PSA:Lux shield is S tier and youre still building her full ap support
Occasionally, I'll build shield strength+ Lux in ARAM. I remember taking Revitalize/Font, Aery, and getting {{item:3107}} and{{item:3504}}. I maxed W first and I was shielding our diving Kennen for almost half of his lifebar. He stopped after the shield doubled from coming back and said "Wtf is this shield?" It's pretty fun.
Rioter Comments
: We need a solution to the state of shielding in the game for sure. Whether that's shield popper, less shielding, less powerful shielding, shield mitigation, extra damage to shield, or a mix of several, we do need a solution.
Hi Mr. RiotRepertoir, Why not create unique items that cause a type of Grievous Wounds on shield strength? Surely shields have replaced heals (and are super annoying in ARAM comparatively) because you only counter them by waiting for them to expire or popping them through sheer damage. How would this affect game health and the tuning of shield absorption and scaling for the game? Thanks,

: Why is Maokai able to out damage Garen ?
Well, if Garen doesn't have Grievous Wounds anywhere and the fight is a 1 vs 1, Maokai has the upper hand the longer the fight goes on based on the fact that he has in combat healing by using his spells and outplay potential with his W (avoiding a portion of Garen's damage since he's untargetable). He also can activate his ult to reduce damage by 20%. Garen has his % reduction too. Idk, extended fighting would probably favor Maokai more than Garen just because of Maokai's HP% and ability to heal in combat (which is increased by 25%+ since it's rare Maokai doesn't have Spirit Visage at some point).
: With zigg's movement speed and cooldowns I don't think he's able to take an inhib and 2 nexus towers in 10 seconds. Plus minion movement if he needs it.
With enough AP and being able to throw out a Q every 2-3 seconds, he can get his passive up several times in 10-15 seconds. It does MUCH more damage to towers ever since they buffed it. Plus he can execute a tower with his E, and proceed to save his AA proc for the next one. It's BS since ARAM is literally a straight shot.
: Ryze does not need a targetted cc ability with the amount of damage he can dish out.
They should make it into a trap. But he can only have 1-2 at time. They no longer snare, but slow for a few seconds and silence for 1 second. No scaling in duration.

: how do you counter nasus now?
Wouldn't Darius be a decent pick against Nasus? Only because armor stacking against Darius with BC is useless and at least you have some sustain if you hit him with your Q. Plus you can bring a little more relevancy to mid game than Nasus. Plus you could get Executioner's just to be a giant bitch. Bleed effect will keep it on him forever and make his Passive less effective.
: Riven has the same problem a lot of other champions have.
ADs need less access to CDR than APs, IMO. Especially resource-less champs. But you can't really balance between the fact some champs use energy/mana/nothing. But I do agree that CDR has become too common on everything. (TF doesn't need 20%, BC doesn't need 20%, Morello doesn't need 20% but I would like to see a buff to Grevious wounds if they ever nerfed the CDR and another CDR item added for APCs that doesn't suck like Zhonyas)
: Good and bad examples of mobility in the game.
**Evasion** Good example: {{champion:67}} Doesn't take you very far, but allows you to escape sudden skill shots. Requires a good amount of reaction skills. Bad example: {{champion:67}} Grants bonus attack damage that can crit. Can also cause you to go invisible for up to 1 second every few seconds during her ultimate.

: Why Karma Needs to Be Worked on
She's so boring to play. Her design ultimately didn't end up like the teaser we had gotten, either. She is a very generic champion who had anything unique taken away from her basic abilities and added to her Mantra. They'd be better off nerfing her Ult damages/Utilities and giving it to her as a passive. Gathering Fire would at least make sense then. Then she could actually have an ult. I'd honestly love to see how Old Karma would play in this new meta, but they'll never do that.

: Support mages, Ziggs and Caitlyn are't used because they're too strong
I feel like most of this contributes to the fact that they released so many champions and didn't think about the end result. There are still many champions who could use reowrks (small/large). When those are accomplished, hopefully, it should resolve this type of issue. But for the most part, I agree.

But i mean, this would never be a thing-- if it was they can just reduce her passive. :) It seems that you've never met AP Janna Mid Lane. Where taking a full charged Q deletes you. It's an unspoken horror that will scar you forever, but only a few select people can pull it off. Or being deleted by her W.
The person getting hit by a fully charged Q has to really be baited hard to get hit by it. You need almost as much AP as Lux does to clear back waves with your Q versus her E. The scaling/base damage isn't enough to be the anti siege she could be as a support. Her W has good base damage, but it used to have much better scaling allowing her to trade much better. I'd prefer she got her AP ratio back on her W instead of the utility scaling. Who needs to slow someone by 80% for 4 seconds when they can leap at you most of the time, anyway. I severely miss Janna or Ashe mid, tbh. It was always fun to me, even if everyone thought it was non-interactive.
: If this is implemented: {{champion:40}} 's secret plan to become the best champion in the entire game due to her passive. ????????? Janna intensifies.
Well, being the best champion would signify you are able to perform in every role and exceed at it. Janna is only excellent at support due to her peel lol. : It does get annoying to have boots take up space where you could be having a better item, especially when you are playing support. Having wards and boots (and sometimes redemption) gives you room for only 2-3 items. If wards had ms, this could give supports an advantage in items. Also junglers.. Smite items need MS.
Movement speed on ward items sounds kinda cool-- but I keep thinking that Lee Sin abuse the item even more. :( So probably not a good idea to give that blind speed racer more mobility.
Anidan (NA)
: I'd imagine Janna won't get much in the way of solo lane opportunities is because she's incredibly uninteractive with her lane opponent, and has been in the past when she went mid-lane. Plop down tornado and walk away while it clears the wave once you have some AP while she has a slow, shield and ult to survive any attempt to do anything about her. Not sure on Sona.
Well, I just threw them out there as an example and not those two support specifically. I understand why Janna will never get buffs because I used to play her mid before they nerfed her Q damage and gave it a ratio for the charge up. Sona, on the other hand, feels much better as a whole nowadays, but I still dislike her W. I'd rather she gave a better shield or better heal and not both. But that's getting off subject. I'd like to see supports get buffs that allow them to easier slide into other lanes, but not without their inherent difficulties changing too much. Which may sound contradictory, but I know that stuff is hard to balance.

: He mentioned in his post that this is a placeholder buff to test the waters for future changes. You can't correct the course if you don't know where you currently stand, or how proceeding in a particular direction will affect the outcome.
I understand. D: But it has been a long time since solo lane Lulu and the nerfs and what not-- So it's not like the waters haven't been filtered, emptied, and refilled by then. :) Plus it's Meddler *fangirl scream*
Meddler (NA)
: We want to buff support Lulu. We also want to buff solo Lulu a bit. It's something we've had a lot of trouble with in the past but still believe should be in a stronger state than it currently is. Now, having said that the AP ratio increase doesn't accomplish both of those goals, given it does very little for support Lulu. Current plan is to replace that buff with something else as a result. It's the sort of unlikely to succeed change we'll occasionally do at the start of a patch cycle (often just internally, not on PBE). Intent is often to get an understanding of what a champion would look like were that true in the current state of the game or sometimes for someone to test something out that they believe in even if wider consensus is it's unlikely to have the desired result.
Out of curiosity--- How come you're considering buffs for champions originally designed as supports (Lulu) to get them into a better position for both bot lane and their solo lane while other champions (Sona/Janna [not that Janna needs buffs]) aren't considered for solo lane opportunities? I would like to see other champions designed as supports other than Lulu attempt a solo lane once in a while, too.
: {{champion:69}} See where snakes can't wear boots {{champion:51}} You don't want your adc barefoot do you? In all seriousness, I like having boots in the game, gives you more chance to change your playstyle early for whatever champion you are playing, Roaming, and what not
TBH, I don't mind boots. I just don't find them worthy of taking up an item slot ever since they removed enchantments. (Made me super sad, really) But I know they do offer some versatility that other items generally don't. Mobility is a big factor in this game. But yes... I want my ADC barefoot. So when they step in those cupcakes they get snared for 4 seconds instead of 2. =P Boots op.

: ap ratio increase won't make her a lane bully again rofl
I never said it was a buff for her solo lane or support. I just meant, it's on the right track to giving her some additional power in general. Her Q STILL does REDUCED damage to targets hit after the first one. So yes, while it does give her more 'dueling' power, it still doesn't help her clear as much. When she had 70% on it and could deal full damage to a whole wave, she was able to do everything you wanted in a solo lane. CC, sustain, damage, utility, etc-- and she could be selfish about it. 20% increased ratio isn't going to be a game breaker, but it was definitely not the way Riot could have buffed her.
Verdade (EUNE)
: Why are there Lulu Q buffs on PBE?
You know that the second enemy hit by Glitterlance and beyond only takes 50% of the initial damage (i forget the exact amount) since they nerfed her solo lane potential? This won't be THAT huge. She may deal a little more damage to a single target now, but it still doesn't help her wave clear (Which was good on top of her utility/safety in solo lane). It shouldn't be a BIG problem but we'll see where it takes her. God forbid she becomes the support bully she was meant to be again.
: Well they kind of have it in League as well..... Like you can build {{item:3089}} on Riven... but not really if you want to play effectively So more or less all champions without AP scaling on their abilities have no use for AP items so being unable to buy them wouldn't really change much at all... (except maybe some items with powerful effects like {{item:3157}} active)
Well, yeah-- But Riven just happens to scale and deal all physical damage. Some(most) champions have some form of mixed damage or AP scaling. So they could technically buy AP items it just won't be efficient for them. I think they allowed too many champions to deal mixed damage on top of the mobility creep which allowed a lot of additional power creep.
: Ziggs adc
Kinda sucks, TBH. If he's taking a turret and you're team fighting 4 vs 5 he can still throw his ultimate if he's close enough. It's really strong the only form of countering is having a strong splitpusher chase him down-- Like Yi or Vi as they both have ways to mitigate or even avoid damage.
: If Riot is so intent on "class" updates why the hell don't "class" specific items exist
I mean-- Smite did this somewhat. It started off like League where you could do and build mixed damage-- But now they changed it so you literally have Physical Gods and Magical Gods. There are some similar defensive items they can each build, but each class has it's own unique offensive/defensive items and can ONLY build items for their class. I didn't like it at first, but now it's easier to manage what you want to build. I know League wouldn't be able to do that, but I think it'd be a nice idea to limit items to specific types of champs.

Of course, it would get some reduction in stats to make up for it being a mastery but at least a tank-duo lane can feel good about having a choice between COTC and Knight's Vow. Puzzled why "Bond of Stone" is not being regarded as a good choice for a tank duo-botlane. Most of the current support items are heavy health-boosting - including Knight's Vow and Redemption. Heck, put Sion or Tahm Kench (heck, why not Mundo?) in bottom lane, give them "BoS" and suddenly you could have a very strong duo.
Because it goes unnoticed. You don't truly get to see how much of a help it is to you or your ally. I also feel like due to the nature of the mastery, the coding may not function properly and who would even know? There isn't a buff icon showing how much you negated.

: Why does nobody play Orianna Support?
I've played her as Support and I can say that while she is good at protecting your carry if they focus them (E>R>W is nice) if you are going support items her damage is much lower. She is a good mage that scales well with damage. Going AP cripples her ability to deal damage and since her only means of support is her shield+zoning she loses her supporting ability later in the game. I think she'd be good for an early control/damage type support, but she's outshined by champions who can build no AP and be useful (I.E. Janna) or ones who can build AP and still provide consistent damage/support (I.E. Lulu or Nami).

: somehow it doesnt block lux ult
Swarovsko (EUW)
: {{champion:101}} has more range than Lux with his Q, and he can push/kill minions easily too, just like every other mage. It just doesn't feel fair but I guess she's still ok
I didn't say Lux had the longest range in the game. I just meant-- Because of how she works as a whole. She is able to cast her E while moving away and gaining distance making it hard to catch her if she's at max range. Xerath has longer range because he becomes immobile or less mobile during all of his spells. Q requires a charge up and while it is easy to land if you're good with movement predicting/timing still causes him to wast 1-2 seconds charging and reduces his movement speed. Xerath is more sustained damage because his ult has charges in which have a travel time and small aoe. Lux can insta-burst 2 people if she lands a binding since she can throw it out in 2 seconds or less. Xerath has 1-1.5 seconds to kill one target if he lands his stun. Even then, ulting means he is rooted in place. It leaves him open for that time which some champions can abuse. Lux, once popping her load onto you, can walk away in that 1-2 seconds where Xerath has 3-4 seconds to bust his load and leave. Plus, I'd say people are more comfortable playing Lux because she has a shield, a two person root, an AoE scouting tool that has a slow, and uber damage with ult. + She's a girl and that laugh is ultimate taunt. Xerath got reworked and while he's actually better, no one is interested in playing a long ranged sustained damage mage when they insta-gib someone much quicker. Ziggs has more range than Lux, but his damage is unreliable in mid-lane so he's being taken bot to siege and get the turret quicker since he's safer in that role when pushing. tl;dr Lux can't clear minions in the backlane because her main clear is her E+Passive and both have utility attached to them.
