: but... you made a thread...
It's a dump thread, kinda. The Mods / Heralds will remove it, anyway.
: Don't see the point of flaming, why would anyone want to further tilt a TEAMMATE who may be doing bad...? It's not going to help anything and will end in things like this thread. {{sticker:sg-lux-2}}
If my teammates are trash, flaming them won't make them less trash, now will it?
Eedat (NA)
: Bye
I'm not permabanned yet, dummy.
: pfft. About 1/4 of the player base in Silver and Gold are what's wrong with the community, from the terms of toxicity. Case and point is this entire thread. It's as you said: these people, including you, should know what they're doing...whether it's right for the game, whether they made a mistake, whether they need to take a break to not go full demon mode in all chat and waste 27 minutes of everybody's lives... But those people can't take ANY responsibility for a loss, or criticism for even a single, small mistake, because IT CAN NOT BE THEIR FAULT if they lose or if it looks like they're going to lose. They're just too competitive and egotistical Or, in the case of players like you, because you don't CARE if it's your fault, as long as people you *personally* blame don't win their game. You play god, plain and simple. The total god-complex, "you don't deserve this win" types are BY FAR the worst. Bronze and Iron are learning. They're low for a reason, and even though they share a lot of the same behaviors, I could argue they *learned* them from the **true** villains. Silver and Gold know things, but some get all elitist whenever literally anything goes wrong, and throw half their games being tilted instead of trying to make a comeback. Or more, if they decide the only way to get people to notice their effort is to babyrage to the boards about how they're about to get perma'd from "other people's lack of ability." At the risk of getting myself into trouble, let me recite the Deep Magic of gamers, just this once, to tell you clearly: "Good. Go back to Runescape. We don't need or want you here anyway."
It's actually messiah-complex, my dude. PS: Who TF DO YOU THINK I AM. Give me a tl;dr. I'm not reading all of this.
: I'm not "acting dumb" .. You're ignoring the real problem. You can not blame your behavior on other people. YOU are the one who is flaming your team. YOU are the one who will be punished for it. Change YOUR behavior, .. or don't, and get banned.
I'm not BLAMING my teammates about my behavior. WHAT. DON'T. YOU. GET. ABOUT. IT.
: Which includes your decision making. .. such as your comments toward your teammates. .. which is what you are concerned with being banned for. However, as evident in other comments, you also seem willing to engage in dialogue with someone who is simply trying to troll you, .. therefore their skills / decisions have nothing to do with it.
That's not what I meant by decision-making and you know it. Stop acting dumb.
Voldymort (EUNE)
: >You clearly have no life and spend too much time commenting on threads hey! what about me? {{sticker:zombie-nunu-tears}}
I don't know you that well.
: To be honest, your willingness to engage in some of the other comment threads under this post tells me that the real issue has nothing to do with the skills of the other players on your team.
The issue was never the skill of the players on my team. The issue is my teammates' decision-making.

Well, it's not that bad in silver. The team I get is alright compared to Bronze. Iron and Bronze players are what is wrong with the community.

Lol, I don't care about the shit playerbase, anyway.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you get better.

: You seem to be not listening to anyone but yourself.
People usually don't have a problem with how I play, so I don't really have to listen to them. Plus, I'm the jungler, so I am the shot caller, mostly.

: If they played better as a team and didn't make lots of mistakes... They wouldn't be silver... That's what's on both teams, you just have to be consistently a little better.
The problem is, some silver players SHOULD be bronze and not on my team.
Voldymort (EUNE)
: what's the purpose of this reply?
what's the purpose of your existence?
Jo0o (NA)
: To ask you the purpose of the thread. I mean, you're not really asking a question, and your tone doesn't suggest that you want input on your mind set, so I don't really see what you're trying to accomplish here.
I'm not an attention-[redacted] like you.
: Indeed. You can't play poorly and be making mistakes and expect people to react positively or act with indifference, that's bull shit. Really, just don't be excessive or severe with your flame and you should be fine... unless you're currently out of a 14 day ban and thus on "thin ice", you need to only type positively or neutrally for now
Hell no. I'm going for on Sicko Mode on trash players.
: Lets answer your question with this question.... Do you believe flaming someone is going to help them make better decisions? Here is another question... Do you think it is more likely for someone who is tilted (yourself or the person who is being flamed) to make worse decisions? You're far better off just not flaming your team, even if they are making poor decisions. If you can say something that constructive, it MIGHT be taken as helpful and MIGHT lead to better choices for both you and your teammates, .. but if not, it is actually more likely to contribute to hurting your chances of success.
The thing is, some Silver players don't listen to anyone but themselves. Even if I ping them to do something, they still won't listen. So, I really don't care at this point.

what's the purpose of this comment?
Rioter Comments
: I actually did yes, I was 12 when I made the name IN SEASON 1 and there is no fking way I'm ever paying riot to change it. I also only grinded to gold for the rewards in season 3 and completly stopped caring about ranked after that only getting gold for the skins. You can have fun with this game without grinding ranks, if you don't think so, you should try other games, excesive competitiveness will only make you miserable in league unless you are an actual god or streaming.
Fair Enough {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
: Seriously Riot. This is just unacceptable!
Jo0o (NA)
: You can't avoid having teammates too heavy to carry. The way to climb is to win the games that ARE winnable, and to do that, you need to improve your own gameplay and put yourself in a position to carry. I recommend not playing Support if possible unless you're in a duo, since that generally puts you more at the mercy of your team's skills (or lack thereof). Play carry champs, work on your farming and fundamentals, and win the games that are winnable. You can easily hit 60%+ win rate doing this.
Tell them to lose weight, IRL.
: > ...and in game 2 used hate speech. Guess it's good that I specified that they used hate speech in Game 2, then, huh?
: You spent much of both games flaming, and in game 2 used hate speech. If you can't communicate without harassing and berating your teammates, then you should probably just keep your "facts" to yourself.
: Then why put in gameplay?
Cuz, I think I'm funny.
: 10 game chatban for this omegalul

: > **1) Honor level 0 SHOULD NOT EXIST.** I'm 50/50 about this - on the one hand, I generally agree with the idea that players who repeatedly break the rules should be given a much sterner punishment than a drop to Honor Level 1 (whether or not they were already there), but on the other hand, I can also see how Honor Level 0 can be an insurmountable climb for some, giving them no reason to actually consider reforming due to the work they put in. On a similar note, I've seen it discussed in some rare occasions the unfairness of an Honor drop straight to 0/1 from a singular instance of punishment, and I can see merit in taking another look at Honor in relation to punishments overall. > **2) We need more feedback on our behavior.** > > **3) We need more feedback on the results of our reports.** For these two, I wholeheartedly agree. I know it's been said that warnings were used before, and previously led to an influx of confused people assuming they were punished, but I still feel largely that having some sign of your behavior falling below the line would make the difference for a lot of people. Surely they could set up a little "warning" blip to show up in the Client after a report is validated to give an unobtrusive heads-up about player misbehavior? Just to spitball. As for report feedback, this is something that I think has been an unequivocal complaint even from ardent defenders/believers of the system - the lack of clarity about reports mattering. I've probably repeated the whole "it's meant to be an occasional reminder" line ad nauseum at this point, but I still know that it's extremely difficult for a fair amount of people to not seek vindication after being slighted or wronged. And, as you said - not getting that feedback report with any consistency leads to people either assuming that someone got off scott-free, or that the behavior they reported was okay, repeating it themselves and putting themselves at risk of punishment. Neither of those outcomes are good, and at the very least, I think the Instant Feedback Report should be far more frequent, if not actually occurring on every punishing report. And, in that vein, it should also be worth mentioning that there may also need to be some reinforcement that not every report will result in a punishment, but still result in a mark against the reported player's account if they misbehaved, since most people (at least that I've seen) have the ultimatum of "they have to be punished or the system isn't working". > **4) 10-game chat restrictions should NOT result in a loss of honor level.** I'm unsure of this, primarily due to general skepticism, but I also have to wonder, if paired with some of the other hypothetical changes (No. 1 and 2), if it'd really be necessary? As well, this also could relate to my earlier statement of the Honor System's interaction with punishments needing review, but, all the same, it is still a change to consider either way. > **5) Improve rewards at high honor.** This, I can also readily agree with. As it stands, the only major rewards we get at Honor Levels 4 and 5 are a near-guaranteed skin shard (Honor 4), and either one of two Honor-Exclusive Skin (Grey Warwick, Medieval Twitch), a Chroma for one or the other (confirmed to come later down the line by I Am Carlos in the [Skins in Season 2019](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8lmryL_8QA) video), or a guaranteed Epic-tier (1350RP) Skin shard if one already has everything else. While I am personally pretty psyched to see what the Grey Warwick Chroma will be, I also feel that special Chromas seem like a cheap solution to Honor Level 5 not having enough content to cover more than two Seasons - if anything, Chromas as the next Honor 5 rewards likely makes it feel like the special, exclusive rewards for consistent positive behavior is simply going to diminish down the line. It doesn't really feel right to have two (arguably) 975 skins as the first two rewards (although Grey Warwick, since his VGU, is more on par with 1350s), with the next few rewards being simple recolors (260RP in value), and then after that a random 1350+ skin. I feel like instead, they should make a new, 1350-quality skin to make as another Honor-Exclusive, and, like Hextech Exclusives (for the most part, anyway), try to make a variety of unique skins for the purpose. But, that's just my rambling on Honor 5 rewards, and any further of it would probably best be suited for _[Story, Art, & Sound](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art)_, so I'll give it a rest here. All told, I can more-or-less largely agree with this all. No. 2, 3, and 5 I can wholeheartedly agree with, and while I'm uncertain how much I agree with 1 and 4, I can still understand the reasoning for such changes.
: "You're a special kind of person." Says the masochist that hates the game he is playing and grinding for litteraly no reason other than a fictionnal rank that litteraly nobody cares about unless you are Master+
Nice username. Did you make it in 2010?
: That's op's point, don't be an idiot when it comes to post gank activity. Cuz some people do smite minions if they think the laner is gonna block their taxation, at least in low elo
: Footnote: I know there is a difference between shoving a lane and taking CS. Helping someone push for plating is different than smiting the cannon. I know that Lee Sin can be played into the late game, but it's difficult and full AD lee sin does not scale well at all.

It's a joke thread, my guy.

: I don't think. I KNOW it doesn't. Mute button was created for a reason. How do you "mute" trolls? EDIT: Nice flaming. You should be banned now. xD
you mute trolls the same way you mute toxic people

: New player having trouble with trolls
Why don't you just play duo bot lane with your significant other?
: is it considered assisting the enemy team when you dont use your champs full strength?
So, ban everyone who starts maining a new champ. Great idea.

2 13 and what? 0 15 and what?
: There are two types of toxic people and this one is worse IMO:
The first one isn't even Toxic. You throw around the word "Toxic" like it's candy.
: It's 2019. People should not discuss verbal toxicity. It doesnt ruin the game. Trolls do. Discuss that.
You're delusional if you think it doesn't ruin the game. The game doesn't revolve around you, my friend.
: heartless and without intelligence trolling
: nobody that says this is innocent. its insulting in itself. unless of course you crush them so hard they would say it then its funny. it just prompts you to crush them even harder. but backing away getting baron and keeping them in the game as long as you can, but you know your team outscales them no matter what. thats what i want to happen if a person goes around saying gg ez.
: it proves how insensitive you are honestly. its like saying uninstall the game scrub and dont come back. so you are telling me to nuke the /muteall because of couple bad apples. thats a shame you have no empathy
You want the unachievable: "People to not be unsportsmanlike in All Chat." If you have been playing the game in recent years, which you probably haven't, lot's of people are unsportsmanlike in All Chat. Some people will only say GG, or GGEZ in all chat. If you don't like this, mute the people on the enemy team. No need to report innocent people because you lost a game.
Sobx (EUNE)
: So... this is ok?
That is someone on your friends list. Maybe try asking if that person can change the message before you report.
: It makes sense actually: since riot puts a lot of focus into chat toxicity -- by making the IFS extremely strict when moderating chat, players who want to express their toxicity won't do it in chat(since it's easy to detect/punish), they'll do it in gameplay terms because it's hard to detect. Basically, the more focus there is put into chat, the more discouraged trolls will think to express toxicity in chat instead of gameplay.
any time you say anything, you get downvotes. I guess I'm in the same boat, though :(
: since when am i forced to do that i shouldnt have to mute the whole game because someone said this the enemy team is sometimes funny in humor its just that ONE guy says ggez and stuff. your telling me to nuke the world with /muteall because one guy insulted me basically. i would rather just report the person and move on.
So, GGEZ is now an insult? You just confirmed how sensitive you really are. I think you need to mute All Chat. It's not for you.
: >If I use a six letter word for homosexual just to trigger my opponent, that's called strategy, not homosexual slur. It's actually still a homophobic slur. You're just claiming your use of it is strategic. Whether that is true or not, the behavior is simply not allowed as per the rules of the game.
