I'd honestly probably buy it more often if it didn't have the active. The active is so useless at low elo, I feel like I'm wasting space when I buy it. I literally only ever take it on Soraka for the added heal and shield power.
: Riot, it's time to start selling Map skins.
I'd love Faction Themed map skins, such as one that makes it look like your in the highlands on Ionia, or the frozen tundra of the Freljord.

No where in her lore does it state or imply that her stealing and manipulating people's memories or emotions has any sustaining/healing effect on her. She was essentially just popping acid every time, and it took her to long to realize that she should probably stop. The most messed up thing, is that she learned her lesson, but she's still doing it, but just justifying it by only taking a little at a time.

Yeah, that always kinda kept me from buying any of the Bloodmoon skins for female champions. On male champions, they look like badass Japanese demons, covering their faces with incredibly horrifying masks, but on the female champions, they're just in a sexy kimono and treat the mask more like a hair accessory, with the obvious exception being Kalista.

: So if Lux were to run into Sylas again, what would she think of him?
I feel like she'd be a bit mortified honestly. Lux is one of the few champions that is entirely morally "good" and when Sylas broke free, he used her power to do so, he manipulated her to get free, so in a sense all the people he's killed and how he got free is indirectly her fault, not that she should be put in jail or anything for it, as she never could have known, probably. She's probably just hate him, for all that he's done after betraying and manipulating her like that, not even giving him the time of day. Sure, Lux is a very bright positive person, but there's only so much you can put someone through.

: Which old champions do you think would completely annihilate todays League?
Janna on release. She herself wasn't overpowered to the point that she could 1v1 anybody, though she could 1v1 a handful of champs, but because she was better at keeping her team alive than Soraka, basically making them invincible if the Janna had half a brain, and had like twice as much CC as she does now.

Exactly, that's why I don't get why so many people complain about him. It's like complaining about Janna's Q. It's with a fairly average missile speed, wind up, and a sound effect that goes off while it's winding up, it's your own fault if you get hit.

: Everyone wants to see damage nerfed but no one's willing to have their class nerfed.
I'm a support main, and I strongly believe gold income needs some nerfing so we can stop getting bullshit mages as "supports" like Vel'Koz and Xerath. More often than not, I find mage mains playing support, not because "assassins are op and now mages suck mid" which does have some truth to it, but because any mage champion with even 1 CC ability is easy to abuse bot lane.

: New Cannon
I'm not aware of what you do and do not know, some I'm just going to be giving a basic rundown of all the major lore changes since then with the inclusion of a few champion lore changes. Side note, Summoner's Rift is no longer canon, and the game itself is no longer canon. The universe and lore are separate from the game itself. Anyway, Ionia has largely stayed the same. They're still a peace loving culture, and compared to almost all other factions, haven't really changed so much as they have developed and expanded the lore. The same can be said about most of the champions, with a few exceptions. One of the few truly new additions is The Great Spirit of Ionia, which acts sort of like an embodying power of the people, representing their culture, but also connected to the land itself, and influences the people. Karma has been changed into being the "Karma" which is the physical incarnation of the Spirit of Ionia. Akali is no longer part of the Kinkou Order. Zaun is now a city directly underneath Piltover, but overall, has remained as the dark toxic reflection of Piltover, filled with pollution and chemical clouds. Janna was changed from being a magical human into being a goddess/spirit that watches over the people of Zaun. Urgot has been relocated to Zaun, and no acts as a sort of warlord within the deepest parts of Zaun, and was betrayed by Noxus. Jinx has only become more deranged than before. Demacia has been changed from an incredibly powerful nation rivaling Noxus, to a smaller, more insular kingdom, but still powerful in it's own right. They still uphold honor and justice, but a key part of Demacian culture in the new lore is their fear and hatred of magic. Lux has been changed into an unofficial undercover agent for Demacia, hiding her magic from her country and people, as well as her family. Galio is now a giant statue that Demacian's use when fighting magical enemies, and is only able to be "alive" when around a magical source. Noxus was transformed from the "obvious bad guys" to a Roman-esque empire, conquering lands, not out of hatred or dark intention, but to thrive as a powerful nation. Swain is now the leader of Noxus, and is preparing for the return of Morderkaiser. Vladimir is now a near-immortal mage that has been around since the fall of Shurima, and although what he wants specifically is left a bit ambiguous, it's clear he seeks power, he's also a part of the Black Rose along with LeBlanc. Darius hasn't had his lore changed, so much as he has had it expanded, and is now a fully dimensional character, and even has children, though the specifics of his relationship with them is somewhat unclear. In the Freljord, Lissandra has had her purpose completely redone. Instead of wanting to bring about the return of the Watchers, she's desperately trying to hide the fact that she almost brought the Void upon the world, and is the only thing keeping the Void from opening in the Freljord. Volibear and Anivia are now Demi-Gods, and worshipped by the tribes of the Freljord, and are even relatives. Again, this is just the lore changes, and only the ones I cared enough to mention. If I were to have included all the lore updates as well, this list would be about 3 pages long. I highly recommend getting into the lore. A good way to get into the lore is by starting off with a champion you like, and reading their lore, and expanding from there.

Being a bit of a lore whore, I tend to favor the more immersive mods, rather than the ones that make Alduin look like Thomas The Train. Most of the mods I have just give access to new magic and armor, that doesn't break the lore.

: She obviously does not act 11. She looks young-ish (probably closer to 15 or 16, although we have no idea because we have no idea how Vastaya age), but she acts like a wild creature, not a child. She's someone that's relatively naïve, uneducated, and a basically feral being. Wanting to be with her is effectively no different from wanting to be with someone from medieval times.

Thematically and story wise, I hope they try and make her a unique character, rather than a Posion Ivy knock off.
: I miss when Janna was just a normal (well, *normal*) human. Trying to explain her as some kind of goddess just seems way too complicated.
I also look back on when she was "human." I feel like, keeping her human, would have allowed us to further explore the roles of mages in Zaun and Piltover, which would be interesting, due to them relying on technology. It would also give us the point of view of somebody who had been fully accepted by Piltover, despite having Zaun origins, unlike Vi, who mostly tolerated than actually accepted, in my opinion. However, over all, her becoming a goddess was just the easiest writing choice for Riot to take, and honestly, I feel just fits he rfar better than being a magical human ever could. Hopefully, when Riot decides to expand upon the lore of spirits and demons, such as Yordles and entities like Evelynn and Janna, we will get further information on her.
: I am HERE for this line of questioning and analysis. I haven’t dived too deep into lore just yet, but this makes me super curious about Janna.

: Not gonna lie, I really liked Syndra's lore update. I know some people didn't (and by some I mean a lot), but I did. The reason why I like her in the first place is because she's a really powerful human, and that she wants to be able to use this power freely. I know some liked her better as some sort of political force in Ionia, but I really like the concept of immense raw power. I know her anger issues are a problem to some, but I really like that part of her. Once again, that's just a personal opinion, I like unleashed power driven by emotion, even tho I hope she'll grow wiser with time. On another note, I really liked lore this year overall. It was a really good year in term of lore (apart from, maybe, the first Karma changes, but hey, everyone makes mistakes right?)! I really liked the Soraka update in particular. I didn't like her before, but her new lore makes her very interesting, and I like her now.
Same, I didn't really understand why people were so angry. Having her as some political force just seemed a bit to restrictive for her character.
Zapzya (OCE)
: Noxus update or Ionia. I really like what they've done with the Noxian campaign on Ionia. That being said, I think the Noxus lore update will remain my favourite. Swain became a badass strategic dictator, Darius is an actually decent guy and not just a brutalist. Let's not forget Talon's amazing lore update as well!!!! (R.I.P. Talon, you'll get your own update eventually) But for real, Noxus scratches my dark fantasy itch, I almost can't believe it used to be where the evil dudes hung out with a skull rock.
The Noxus update, for me, was a bit of a letdown. We didn't get any lore on Katarina, Talon, or Cassiopeia, and Cass is my favorite Noxus champion.
: Well Nunu went from being a champion that I didn't care about at all to being one that made me cry, so there's that. I didn't really care about the lore when I first joined so I didn't understand the Vastaya update. I tried to read the Icathia and Darkin stories, but they lost my interest pretty quickly and I never finished them. The only reason why I read Akali's new lore is because I was hoping she'd have bigger ties to Jhin besides the few lines of text where she in mentioned in his color story, but instead I got... Whatever the fuck her color story was. Other than that, I haven't really read any of the new stuff. A lot of the characters, as interesting as they are, just don't grab and hold on to my attention.
While I actually did really love the Darkin update, I agree with you about Icathia. Couldn't even get halfway through the second paragraph before I was like, "nope".

: Which champion lore wise is your favourite and why
It's a tough choice between {{champion:103}} and {{champion:40}}. I never cared for Ahri's older lore, as it could be summarized completely by "fox turns into sexy lady, and feels bad" but now, with her updated lore, it's honestly very touching. For her, manipulating people's emotions was like a drug for her, she couldn't help herself. She killed so many, all in the effort of trying to achieve that ecstasy, that perfect feeling of being weightless and wonderful. However, when she falls in love with an artist, and ends up killing him because of her addiction, she truly understands the weight of her actions. She feels so much remorse and guilt that she literally tried to rid herself of her memories. I've always had a soft spot for tragic characters, and in the now canon lore, Ahri is one of the most tragic figures in Runeterra, not that her feeling remorse necessarily excuses her from all the blood on her hands. And she has A LOT of blood on her hands. For Janna, I liked her older lore, but her new lore fits her so much better, in my opinion. She was born from prayers, people seeking help, and that's exactly what she did. She's a being of pure altruism, something I wish I could be, and aspire to, an embodiment of hope and faith, always protecting those in true need. Her short story "Deep Breath" honestly brought me to tears, seeing that even if it's seemingly the smallest, most insignificant person, she still cares. Until Soraka eventually gets her lore update, I can say with full certainty that Janna is the most compassionate individual in the entire League Universe.
: I honestly wish 50% of the players in this game, that I have ever played with, were perm-banned.
