: Prototype Wukong Changes on PBE Context
I played against the new wukong last night. The person playing it said they were testing it for Meddler. Think his name was Hairu or something like that. Long story short, he *destroyed* us. Got fed in lane against a Darius. And at the end of the match, I think his total damage to champs was ~60k while everyone else on his team had ~10k. And they actually even had a teemo on their team that was intentionally feeding us, and wukong still carried a literal 4v6! Can't really comment on balance after just the one game, but figured I'd share my experience nonetheless.

I actually REALLY like the idea of giving yuumi the ability to attach to a really far away champ but only if the long attach has a separate cooldown like 300 seconds. The "short" attach would still work the exact same way, but you can only "far" attach to each champion once every 300 seconds. It would be similar to how sylas cant steal ult from the same champ within a certain time frame, or how yas cant dash to the same unit without a separate cooldown.

I really don't want to change her pattern too much as a whole, but just provide a better play experience when it comes to reliance of AP and Spell casts.
Hey, thanks for looking into Diana. You seem like you are genuinely interested in improving her, so thanks for the dedication and consideration! In terms of your changes and goals, I wanna give my two scents and say that Diana's cleave and attack speed are a huge fun factor for her. If you were looking to make changes to her, I would say add more reliance on the cleave. It reduces her burst speed, which is what you want. You could also make her even more fun by making cleave on 2 autos instead of three after like lv 12. Something else, you could maybe make her e auto reset her cleave. That would mix well with your proposed e bonus speed. In order to compensate, you could reduce the amount of damage from her w and or r? (side note, could you share how back in the line diana is for a rework? its cool if you cant comment).

People don't bash me, but I have a legit question. How exactly are people making Klepto work on kayle?! As I understand it, the rune requires Kayle to AA the enemy champ twice after using a skill. Kayle is so fragile she can't possibly go for AA every time she uses a skill. So how the hell are people making this work?! The only explanation I can think of is that Klepto becomes active after she activates her e, and then landing the e is one of the two attacks. But even if this is true, klepto on paper still sounds so bad for kayle.

Wow you are objectively wrong in saying "There are objective pillars for good, and pillars for bad". On what basis is something "objectively good"? You can't prove or quantify goodness using science. There isn't a proven higher power that made us and dictate for us what is good or evil. The best you can do is say that good and evil is something determined by what society agrees is good or evil, in which case, it's not objective, it's literally subjective, democratic even. The ripple effects and circumstances of an action are infinite to the point you simply cannot dictate objective good and evil. Is eating a piece of bread evil? "No". Is eating a piece of bread when you are full instead of giving it to the starving child next to you evil? "Yes". What if that starving child is actually a grown man who is a murderer who is probably going to continue murdering if he doesn't starve. Is it evil not to give him the bread? "No." See how something as simple as "eating a piece of bread" is not "objectively good or evil"?

Just saw the skin. Not happy at all. The skin by itself is nice and good quality, but it is not a fair adaptation to the people who both this skin before the update. I'm sick and tired of RIOT doing this crap. They took a product I bought and changed it to something I would not have bought.

What you, in EUW, consider "good" might not be what other players/cultures in other real-world regions consider "good"... and vice versa. We're aiming to create a globally resonant fantasy setting.
Any chance you could provide some of this data you are referring to? I'd be interested in reading about trends in ethical views.

: {{champion:131}} Rework when? It's very discouraging to play when Irelia is a better version of Diana. Ekko, LB and Akali do the same things as Diana but better and safer. Can we at least revert the attack speed changes that were made in 7.4(?) - It feels very weird in a situation where due to itemization she's only able to play as an assassin, the attack speed after casting spells is very counterintuitive for a champion with a burst kit, using it to it's maximum potential you ideally want to slowly weave spells as an assassin. Lets compare: * Diana Q does damage and marks - Ekko Q does damage, procs his passive and slows. * Diana W is a shield with slight damage - Ekko W is a massive shield and an aoe stun. Irelia W is a massive damage reduction. Akali W makes her unattackable for ages and gives energy+movespeed. * Diana E can... stop Kha'zix jumping away. * Diana R dash, removing other moonlight debuffs off of other targets, one way to reset is with Q - Irelia Q can last hit minions, dash faster and has two marking mechanics, allowing her to dash way more than Diana. Ekko E can dash in, or out, or to dodge spells on a low cooldown. Point being, Diana is outdated. Being forced to use abilities and mana in lane to get somewhat respectable attack speed for CS'ing as a MELEE champion is horrible, it needs some adjusting, it doesn't matter much later into the game but early lane phase just feels horrible for after losing a part of our old passive. Yeeees pleeeeeease. EDIT: Wanted to add, I got a bit hopeful for some Diana changes when she was featured in that preseason video in the launcher. Fingers crossed. Would love to at least hear thoughts from Riot on a rework since you are right that Irelia is just a better and more fun version of Diana.

Yeah you have to buffer your skills, just not that much. I used to QWR all the time. Now, I try to QR, get 2-3 AA then W, 2-3 AA, rinse and repeat. Also, try not to use your E. Unless I am wrong, AND PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM, but if you use your E you lose the passive effect. In which case, I have not been using my E so as to have that passive on all the time. Furthermore, the first item I build is Nashors, and I think that is objectively the first item you should build unless you are jungling. I also build the AS boots instead of magic pen because that extra AS means more mp thus more skill spam, and less wait time between skills since you get your 3 autos in quicker. Also, keep in mind what I said that she is still very weak at low levels. lv 1 and 2 she still doesnt have her e passive, and pre 6 you dont have ult. I think diana becomes really deadly after you build nashors and the as boots. for my third item i either build gunblade or lich bane, unless i need some defense in which case I build banshees or zhonyas. Both of those items are great imo because one gives you LS which gives you more room to buffer your skills for AA, the other gives you CDR and stronger AA. 90% of the time my build is [Nashors, AS boots, gunblade, lich bane, zhonyas or banshees, rabadons]. Does that help? Give it a try and let me know if it helps.

She does not feel clunky with the new changes. I think you just need to give it time to adjust to her new style. It's basically a perma AS buff thanks to her low cooldowns.
: I think the changes hurt her early, where she was already weak. They help her out in the mana department but slow her waveclear and open her up to more harassment. You still have to full burst combo, so the new E passive isn't going to help in a teamfight. I am not sure what they were thinking or what the intent was.
What do you mean the new e passive doesn't help in team fights?! Now when you go in with your R you are guaranteed to have significantly higher attack speeds, making it way better for Diana to get in and out when going for a champ.

Dude, that is cray cray talk. I played like 8 matches with her yesterday, and I LOVE the changes. At low level it's not great, but at higher levels it's crazy. With Diana's low cooldown skills, it felt like she had a permanent AS buff. And with E now having a passive AS increase, I was shredding people with my AAs. If there is something worth looking at, I think it's the fact that Diana might actually be dealing more damage via AA than her actual skills. Not that it is necessarily a bad thing, but more of a "what is her intended design?"

Figured it's the lesser of two evils to necro this thread instead of creating a new one. But I wanted to express interest in a Diana project skin! I feel like Diana doesn't really have that many skins compared to so many other champions. Please, moar Diana skins (specifically project)!
Beautiful. As a Diana main, I really wish Diana had more skins. Her skins are imo "weak" compared to so many other amazing ones in this game.
