: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: November 9
Are you guys going to look at Orianna at all since she hasn't been doing so hot since her nerfs? She was nerfed out of competitive fears but has seen no competitive play and is really low in solo queue rankings as well. Is this a result of overnerfs or meta?

: Playing LoL for over 5 years, still dislike playing against Lee
As someone who mains immobile mid laners, {{champion:64}}{{champion:59}} have been the bane of my existence for 5 seasons now. Especially times like now where he isn't strong. I can't justify perma-banning him, but the occasional Lee still main pops up and gives me the dickins. Lee has extreme mobility so it doesn't matter where in lane you position, he can still get to you. Even if you juke Q, he can ward jump and R you with flash being your only option. The only way to truly prevent a Lee Sin gank is to see him coming half a mile away and back the fuck up. Or you can let the gank happen and do some mad outplays in a minion wave. Lee is a lot weaker without his Q so if you can nuke their laner and kite him through minions you might have a chance.

: how the hell do you junglers do it?
When thinking about what you should be doing, ask yourself what the enemy jungler is doing. Jungle is like 30% tracking the enemy jungler, and knowing whether to counter them or trade somewhere else. Chances are you could have taken one of her buffs since she probably went her buff to your buff. Get wards out early to track them so you can make appropriate decisions. I endure the flame because its such a fun and engaging role when played well. Its pretty fun to be the Shyvana in your situation, devouring every camp and objective in sight. A lot of people just get frustrated because in a behind lane, all of their hopes rest on you. At worst they're going to keep feeding, at best they'll get stop feeding and have no fun for the rest of lane. Problem is its better for the jungler to abandon that lane, at least until they hit a power spike.

: Name a combo from your favorite champion.
Actually there is a Dragonsec combo as well. {{champion:136}} can start his ultimate and flash during the cast animation to knock people backwards. You just cast it backwards. Here's the first clip of it I could find https://clips.twitch.tv/ShyFunnyManateeDendiFace Besides that you can Q -> R to chain your knockback into a stun, or Q + Flash to insta-proc the stun. Sol has some neat tricks, but I don't know what I'd call any of them besides obvious shit like R-Stun and Q-Flash. Usually combos just use simple names like that until they get really popular, like Ding Dong. {{champion:61}} is my favorite champ and she doesn't have many outright "combos". There are lots of ways to chain her abilities together, but it feels less like combos and more like situational awareness _(i.e. where and how you distribute utility/damage)_ But there's always R -> Flash. Which i'd probably call a Shock-Cancel or Wave-Cancel, because you're effectively using flash to take away an enemy's chance to react to shockwave's wind up. Though one neat trick not many people do is hiding the ball in terrain. One good spot is that big stump on the southern part of the baron wall. You can hide the ball in there so when the enemy team comes around that corner you can quickly Q -> R. Crouching Ori, Hidden Ball. Also not many people use W to push the wave. Send Ori back to clear minions while the team cuts the wave, and she can W the wave up faster than normal. Really useful post-fight, especially stacked with baron buff speed. Minion Go Fast...

I imagine with such specific items that only a few niche selections are ideal. tank supports were really strong in the overheal meta, so you'll probably see a lot of residual play from them. I've heard the recent changes gives {{champion:63}} mage {{champion:143}} supports a leg up though, since you don't have to build sightstone and can just rush a blasting wand _(I did that anyway)_

Isn't her refund based on picking up daggers that she has 2 ways to put out that get fully reset on a takedown? I don't play enough Katarina to know but I think 5 is a safe assumption. If Katarina is resetting in a fight she's probably doing enough damage to kill so I think 5 jumps is a fair max, but if its a longer fight its probably actually higher than that. Pretty sure you're right tho. Either way Katarina isn't the only champ with that kind of mechanic *coughKha'Zixcough* and there's plenty of other high mobility champions that can compete with Kalista and champs like Gnar, Ashe, and Vayne that are as sticky as Kalista.

Kha and Katarina are melee assassins, they deserve the resets (and outside of stealth, they have no defensive mechanics) You know who _doesn't_ deserve a fucking reset? This piece of shit {{champion:18}} that already has long ass range, hyper scaling, and self peel.

he does too much, he needed to lose something. He's got damage, cc, mobility, long ranged engage, that teamwide utility thing. Everything a tank needs, and some stuff they don't. He was kind of busted. Maybe dodge skill shots like the rest of us, and express your skill that way? Or by using your insane ult to engage from off screen?

: I'm through caring about Zoe in solo-que but...
Literally the only part of her kit I dislike is the RNG w, which makes her gameplay patterns incredibly hard to predict for both the zoe and enemy. Will she get a heal? Will she get a free teleport back to lane and completely negate my poke? Will she get an ignite and all in me? Who the fuck knows. Long ranged burst mages are nothing new, I've been getting shit on by Xerath and Vel'koz mid for seasons now and they have less set up than Zoe does (though less range and burst I suppose). She's significantly weaker to wave shoving than they are though, which makes her fall prey to fairly standard mid laner tactics of shove+roam.

: Sooo is Lux dead and/or a ghost?
Fairly certain he's talking about her future. Swain has a lot of quotes about visions and portents.
: Nasus state is really annoying
I agree Nasus is incredibly annoying when he's strong. However I've found most Nasus' players in plat and below have the One More Stack Syndrome, where they let their team die in a 4v5 while clearing top. Good macro late game will often see a Nasus player stacking top/bot because you slow pushed a huge wave in. Trust me their eyes will light up when they see 2-3 cannons slow pushing. Also aggressive junglers can snowball the rest of the map, or Shyvana can farm the entire map and slaughter his team. But they did nerf klepto a little so hopefully that helps bring him in line.

Oatmeal + Milk + Soak Overnight = Tasty Cold Oatmeal Add in combinations of goodies to make it better * Banana + Coconut * Apple + Cinnamon + Raisins * Peaches + Almonds + Honey * Blueberries + Strawberries * Maple Syrup + Brown Sugar * Pretty much anything you could put in normal oatmeal Its pretty handy since it requires no prep the morning of. Its like cold cereal but fresher and healthier. Lactose intolerant folks just switch to almond milk or w/e the preferred alternative is.

: What are your thoughts on new Swain?
pretty dope but needs more bird on shoulder. also I love the trope of the ruler seeking out portents and prophecies to guide their nation.
: Only negative thing I can really say about the new Swain.
while that is a fair point, I think that's a trope that can be explored better in a new champion maybe. I mean in lore he was a tyrant as well as that crippled old man, but the trope works better for a beggar/transient looking person. Think about it, the whole trope basically comes from myths about hags and witches. Old, helpless looking ladies in the woods that end up being evil. I think a hobo looking guy thats actually a demon of envy or greed could be a cool character.

: So are Darius, Draven, Katarina, Talon and Leblanc villains?
Does it matter what you call them? From a real perspective you can use words like hero and villain, but people are more complicated than that because real life isn't a fairy tale. From a video game perspective, who cares. The design team molds champs out of 1-2 tropes, they're not as complex as real people by design. nerf vayne

Yasuos escapes certainly are more situational than a lot of other characters, but when he has access to them he has more outs than anyone else. I don't think he's op or anything, just to be clear. Annoying yes, edgy weeb bait yes, op no. He actually synergizes quite well with my Orianna if I get a top lane Yas that doesn't sperg out.

The more outs a character has, the more forgiving they are to play since you can just click a button to erase poor gameplay.
