: Where's my support item as a melee tank support?
Not sure if this helps, but here are the current PBE notes: Support Items We're refreshing support choices in the shop. They’ll be less poachable and have an expanded quest system that should be more satisfying overall. We're also reducing the current complexity and rules bloat of the lineup. Towards the goal of creating more satisfying items, supports will no longer have to upgrade these starter items in the shop. Instead, the quest system now automatically upgrades items to their second and third tiers when milestones are reached, with the Warding passive baked into those upgrades: Tier 1 - Starting stats and gold generation passive Tier 2 - Stats improved, 3 wards added Tier 3 - Major stats upgrade, 4 ward capacity, gold generation passive removed This unlocks supports to begin progressing toward their item builds without having to spend their first 1500g on completing their economy item. These starting support items won’t carry as many stats as before, but we think this is a fair tradeoff for the jump-start supports are getting on their other items. The four starting support item options are: High AD + Low HP + Spellthief’s passive High AP + Low HP + Spellthief’s passive Low AD + High HP + Targon's passive Low AP + High HP + Targon's passive (Coin removed) When assessing the play patterns of the income passives, Targon’s and Coin both encourage a safer, more sustain-focused playstyle compared to Spellthief’s aggressive one. To simplify the support item system, we’re removing Coin and allowing ranged champions to use the execute element of Targon’s passive. Finally, we're adding a new poaching rule that significantly reduces the gold you get from minions if you're farming them consistently. The tuning we want should still allow supports to secure a last-hit every now and then or even farm an occasional wave like today; the penalty only kicks in if item holders begin farming like non-supports. This new rule also allows us to remove the current anti-poaching mechanics on Spellthief's (charge pausing on CS, nearby ally requirement for gold).

: I don't think Yuumi needs to be knocked off on a displacement
I'd like to propose a change in which there are periods of her being attached that make her vulnerable to damage, it's pretty silly that I have to burst down the attached target just to get a pick at her, when she has a lot of tools to get her partner to safety, she can even successfully defend off full team assaults. there are even times where her target dies and she simply W's to a new ally. There could be a minor change that says "once every x seconds, yuumi looses her focus on something shiny and becomes vulnerable" They made a number of changes which promoted her afk style a couple patches ago.

: Ranked play after the season ends, what happens?
nothing 'happens' that you can see. however your MMR might be slightly higher come season 10 placements.
: Nerf Chain CC
chain cc was added back into the game a couple of seasons ago, because it was far to easy to escape from a team fight if you had any form of mobility buffered, it would auto activate your escape after the longest cc duration was applied. You could flash out of nearly anything, even though you were getting piled with hard cc.

yes you can. Make sure your 'ranked armour' is enabled. This is done by clicking the profile icon, and clicking the bottom left hand selection. Your icon will turn to the various metaled helmet of your current rank and will be displayed in the loading screen. If your ranked armour is turned off, and you are seeing your icon + current level border, you will NOT get an border in the loading screen. hope this helps :)

: I get it, Ashe got a skin, but enough is enough
Hi Friend, Ashe has a very hard time dealing with anyone with mobility and hard cc. She loses frequently to Cait and Lucian. If you're supporting, go hard engage supports: leona, Thresh, Naut, Blitz. Remember shes only dangerous at a distance. if you're ontop of her she cant go anywhere, but if she can auto you from afar, your hp far is going to drop because of her q + lethal tempo + slows.

feel like this is a slippery slope of a conversation. Pick intent is to display who you want to play. Unsure why my teammates would ban something I'm displaying im capable with. on the flip side, i agree, ban out the cancer. but we're constantly hearing from higher elo players 1 trick, or have 2-3 champs you're great with. Don't handicap your teammate by taking away one of their carries.

: The Star guardian Zoe skin really lacks any villain features at all!
they kind of fucked zoe this year in the same way the fucked syndra before. If it helps, look at it as Zoes just trying to make friends, in an obsessive way, by making them part of her team. Shes obsessive, not evil. Thats what i was stuck on for so long. I hate that she didn't get thhe 1820 sure, but it is what it is. I agree she didn't fit the 'villian' theme. But shes one of the first star guardians, her original team is dead, so she hunts down new star guardians to join her, and shes become obsessed with the idea to the point where shes killing them just to have a team again.

I'm glad to see someone has finally brought this up. Im not visually impaired per say, but had a bit of an accident when i was younger, so my left eye is a little slower than my right. All games i play i rely heavily on hearing the sound, so i know when/when not to react. I have a difficult time hearing some effects on certain champs/ but some skins like Divine sword Irelia, help me greatly because of the sharp noises.

She's getting nerfed in 9.16 :) Yuumi Q empowered damage decreased late; slow decreased; slow duration flattened; cooldown increased early. Yuumi's damage is too high for how reliable it is, especially when coupled with other high-damage bot lane partners. : how to cs mid game ?
Hi there, I play a lot of mid/bot as my main roles myself. for mid lane: laning phase will be pretty much be dictated by bot or top lane and will tell you where to cs. You will ideally switch with the WINNING lane, as they will have the gold/level advantage to pressure elsewhere. if bot lane wins: they should be rotating to your lane for pressure, you in turn will switch to bot. Youll still have dragon control regardless - at this point youll aggressively ward their side to prevent steals/contest. OR- you can stay mid, drop the tower quickly and move about. if top lane wins: youll stay mid, and ask your jungler/top to go rift, so they can drop it mid for you, then you can all go dragon/bot to secure the final tower. if your bot loses: you can still switch with bot, you're probably safer by yourself then the duo, if you play utility/dashes etc. if your top loses: they will probably stay top, but try and help them with the jungler present, then pressure your lane again.
: 9 times out of ten I find that improperly placed champions are at fault for inactivity. There's only so many Hex squares around each target, and if you overstock on Nonranged units (like a lot of assassins) many will wait for the front wave to die to move in to replace them. P.S. Some CC's are 4-5 seconds! Eternity in TFT terms. I do think we need a counter for THAT.

: You are completely wrong. Right now, even if Sylas kit has a great potential, it has a great room for counterplay. I hate going over with this each time someone tries to make him look more powerful than what he really is, but here we go. * He has a dash, yes his E1, but it is a **short** dash on a **moderated** CD for which he is **highly vulnerable to ganks early game**. * He has a shield, on E2, which requires you to first hit the ability correctly which has a **short hitbox** and secondly **carries you to enemy location**, the reason for which you don't want to use it in 50% situations past early game. * He has waveclear, which already **got nerfed**. * He has poke, true but again it is a skillshot with **short hitbox** completely avoidable if enemy players are above gold. * He has a stun, is this a bad joke? First it is not a stun, it is a **knockup** on E2 which lasts for **0.5s** and does close to no damage supposing you are able to hit your target (Did I mention his E2 has a short hitbox?) and you better pray that no enemies are around because as **it takes you to enemy location**, you may as well have commited sui__de. * He has healing, right which is really helpful when facing assasins that straight up **oneshot you** **before you can even heal**. What? Are you going to deny that **at this point in the game**? Specially on mid lane? * A pull, rig... Wait, what pull? (Riot's official page says... Pull: Any champion with an ability that brings the enemy closer to them) It is actually the other way around, **you are pulling yourself to enemy location** with E2. * He has the ability to use ultimates better? His R is actually **extremely situational**. If enemy team has really useful ults, then congratulations you may have some way of impacting teamfights late game with your R ~~that you wouldn't be able to do with the rest of your kit ~~, but if that is not the case and you face champions less ult dependant, then good luck having any impact late game. Sylas basically turns in a champion without ultimate. Have you heard of a **two-edged knife**? And you are even incorrect at the fact that he wasn't designed by CertainlyT. He was actually designed by Blake Smith also known as Squad5. As you see his kit has a little of everything which means he may have a lot of things but on short proportions. If he has a dash, it is a short dash on moderated CD. If he has CC, it has extremely short duration and requires you to travel to enemy location. If he has a shield, it is a risky shield. And so on. This perfectly complements with the fact that instead of having a 60% WinRate, he has 43% average WinRate. Before the nerfs, he basically turned most matchups into skillmatchups so if you are complaining about laning against him, you were probably the worse of the two players as you had varied ways to avoid his full combo and win against him. Now, after the nerfs, he looses hard in some matchups and turns others into skill matchups. So, maybe you would make a better use of that energy you use to complain daily on learning the patterns of the champion and the matchups. When to get near him and when not to.

This seems to be an issue with the wizard and not the wand. Rock q, auto- tiamat, Rock q will clear and entire minion wave. unsure where her 'lack of wave clear' comes from in your mind. considering she can push the wave quite quickly. Are you trying to farm with elements other than Rock? Rock is your core element, it does more damage to weaker targets. Use that to your advantage.
