: Karma was just put there to fit the theme of the Ionian army, the details behind her changes were disappointing, so don't have high expectations for Karma or expect any further attention from Riot for her. Edit: You're just going to down vote me without saying anything? I'm being blunt about this and not sugar coating it. The amount of effort put into her changes are laughable. They used the feedback for Karma and put it into other champions. Look at [Shyvana's recent changes](https://www.reddit.com/r/karmamains/comments/a64h7l/shyvana_has_the_mantra_q_that_everyone_keep/) to her fireball Q, its exactly what Karma mains have been asking for years and few months after [Karma mains rework suggestions post](https://www.reddit.com/r/karmamains/comments/97krki/hi_karma_mains_want_your_feedback/), Shyvana was the one to get it. All the feedback used was basically us brainstorming ideas so they could use it on other champions and they're just going to do whatever they want with Karma like they've always done since her half-@$$ed rework, isn't that just wonderful (slow clap). Keep your expectations LOW.

: Mastery 8, I even designed it for you!
@OP: Your mastery mission concept sounds interesting and viable. I also suggested mastery level 8 and a design for it a while ago but... https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-discussion/zQwm7ced-riot-we-deserve-mastery-level-8-and-it-should-look-like-this {{sticker:sg-lulu}} people weren't really feeling my fancy crown xD But I give you an S+ on your idea :) I hope Riot looks into it
: Who do you want to/think will have the next Victorious skin?
Didn't {{champion:41}} just get a pool party skin? Why is he on the list?

All Squares are Rectangles, but not all Rectangles are Squares To master something doesn't mean you are the best, but to be the best means you have mastered something. You are confusing the definition of of Master for Best just because they can be used in a similar way in very specific circumstances. So unfortunately you are wrong in this, you have your own definition of Master which is incorrect. Just read a dictionary.

So unfortunately you are wrong in this, you have your own definition of Master which is incorrect. Just read a dictionary. Bruh, I don't have my own definition of master. I did not write or publish the links I gave you. I'm not confusing their definitions because they can be used in similar ways, I'm saying that they absolutely can be used in the same way. Yes it is circumstantial, which is why I've been using words such as refer, context, inference, sayings... or do you need links for those as well? If you have mastered something, you are considered one of the best in that something. You didn't just become a master without being very good at it. When you are the best of something, you are very good at it. I literally gave you links from dictionaries/thesauruses that explain what I meant so why you think I need to read a dictionary makes no sense. At the end of the day, master can mean best. If you don't understand contextual meanings, then I'm not sure what else to tell you... but good luck :) and have a nice day!

When someone has "acquire(d) complete knowledge or skill in" something such as a martial art or something like chess, they are called a master because they are one of the best. Languages are not 100% literal. There are such things as inferences, saying, and context. In fact, best and master (as verbs) are literally synonyms of each other. Mastering something can be translated to showing that you are the best at something. Well I don't know what to say you are arguing the definition of the word. You are heavily confusing the actual meaning of the word with the common (and often improper) use of it. Being a Master of something does not mean you are the best, plain and simple that is by definition. You use martial arts as an example but that example actually proves my point, there are thousands of schools for the same martial arts all run by a master. They can't all be the best, they merely have mastered the art. Nothing left to learn. Also no Master and Best are not synonyms.

In my opinion, mastering something translates to being the best at it. But hey, I guess it can mean different things to different people. You are misunderstanding what the word "master" means and what it means to master something. --- #Master **noun** 1. a man who has people working for him, especially servants or slaves. 2. a skilled practitioner of a particular art or activity. **adjective** 1. having or showing very great skill or proficiency. 2. main; principal. **verb** 1. acquire complete knowledge or skill in (an accomplishment, technique, or art). 2. gain control of; overcome. --- Notice how it doesn't say anything about being the best at it, just that you have reached a level of skill you no longer have anything left to learn. There is nothing about being the best, there can only be 1 person who is the best at something yet many many people can "master" it. So Masters players are those who have mastered the game, in that they have achieved all the knowledge they can, but they are not yet at the level of being potentially the best at the game. That is where Challenger players come in, they go beyond simply understanding the game completely, they put their knowledge and skill to the test and challenge each other for the #1 spot.

And about your Master and Challenger viewpoints... You say Challenger is where pro players are as if there aren't pro players in Master. Also, if you believe Master players play at the highest level, why shouldn't they be the highest tier? Bronze is just as much of an insult, I think most people would rather be unranked than be Bronze. I mean that people who playing in Masters have pretty much mastered the game, they are playing at a level where everyone has mastered the mechanics, strategies, and knowledge of the game. Beyond that comes down to individual skill with champions, which is where Challengers come in. They are the top of the role or champion or playstyle. They are fighting for the #1 spot in their region, whereas Masters are trying to get into the running. You can Master anything, but it doesn't mean you are the best at it, just that you have learned everything you can and the rest comes down to your personal skill and how you use what you know.
