: New approach to AFK's
For those people who think this would get abused, make the afk'er lose 2 matches worth of points. That way if they decide to afk a match they now have to win 2 games to get back to where they were as opposed to 1. In the long run, if they keep afking matches they don't feel like playing, they will actually demote.

: Are there really people arguing that XAYAH doesn't work with the 'edgy Star Guardian' aesthetic?
The past couple skin lines we have gotten are dark and edgy. KDA Dark Star Battle Boss Project Elderwood Star Guardian was supposed to be the break from that, it's magical and bright and colorful and instead we got slapped with more dark and edgy. Does Xayah fit dark and edgy? Yea, but nobody wanted it in the first place.

Half the player base wants the chromas, half don't, make it available for the people that want it and if you don't want it don't buy it. The majority of the skins we have been getting are either purple, or edgy. KDA, dark star, battle boss, elderwood, project, a lot of people were looking forward to SG because it meant bright happy magical skins and instead we got more dark purple and edgy, and the chromas aren't any better. People have been looking forward to SG for what, 2 years? If they actually gave a crap about the lore, they would've given Xayah and Rakan new voice lines for when they are together, that actually relate to SG. Apparently when both champs are together, instead of having brand new voice lines that relate to SG they just reused the same voicelines the base skins use. The champs break character themselves without needing a chroma to do it. Honestly, if they wanted them to switch back and forth between corrupt and pure, they shouldve added a toggle option. Let the player decide if they want to be pure or corrupt, or if they want to switch back and forth during the game. It gives the people that wanna be edgy what they want, and the people that wanna be bright and magical what they want. It's not like DJ Sona who completely switches models, it'd just be a color change. It is doable and there are other skins in the game with toggle options. But a lot of the stuff this year has been rushed.

I'll be trying to get a unit to two stars, nobody else will have any of the same unit, but for the whole game I'll never find another copy. Does that mean there's only one unit in that whole game? That type of stuff seems like it's a lot more random then skill. Although there is skill needed, I think it's few and far between for regular players.

: Banshee's needs a buff. It's designed for a different game than what we're playing today.
When it procs it shouldn't just block 1 thing, have it block the first ability and then reduce the effects of CC or damage for the next few seconds so it can't be wasted so easily. I can just Morg pool you, or hit it with the Luden's proc, or point and click you, and the item is useless for 40 seconds assuming I don't just do it again. The item is almost not worth buying at all except for a few circumstances.

This has been a bug since the game came out. It's been complained about on the boards every week. But rolling out ranked was more important than fixing it I guess.
: I personally never liked the idea of a passive that disables ALL the item's mechanics, making a good champion into a useless champion for 8 seconds is a bit overwhelming , but I hope the balance team would someday change it to "Disable's the item's Passive" so the stat's of the item would still be relevant. Rather being completely useless for "8 seconds"
Most fights are decided and/or over by 8 seconds too

If you didn't earn the rank playing the actual game, you should not get to sport that rank in the actual game. Your ranked border should be used on the game mode it was earned in. I can't use my plat solo/duo border when I queue up for flex, and TFT has NOTHING to do with the actual game. Keep the TFT ranked borders in TFT, otherwise, let me use my plat border wherever I want to. Make it extend both ways or neither.

Dealing with what items the RNG gave you. What champs the RNG gave you. What lineup the RNG gave you. What the RNG gave everyone else. It ALL plays around RNG, and you CAN NEVER hope to make a balanced ranked mode around that. Every single game is made of 3 players that hit the RNG lottery at the start of the game that shit on everyone else, and then the rest of the players. And because you will not see shards of a champ that someone else is also building, it makes building a good comp hard if you are on the bottom...and everyone abuses the same broken comps every game. Unless you hit the RNG lottery (look, theres the RNG again) late game and have inted the whole time to save your gold, you will have no shot at first or second place. Maybe 5th, but you lose LP anyways after crawling out of the bottom with the random team you have to put together. OH I forgot, what bugs you encounter is RNG too, because there's plenty of those but I guess rolling out ranked and then having a party to celebrate was more important than fixing the game. Tft still isn't ready for ranked even though it has somewhat improved since launch. It is still buggy, and still broken.
: Rageblade is Just Too Damn Strong
The fact that it stacks infinitely and with each other is way too much. I can build 2 or 3 guinsoos on Vayne and then afk and hoard gold while she rapid fire melts the enemy team before they can even cast a spell. Just surround your adc with your other champs so they arent the first to get attacked and by the time the enemy is even able to get to them they are already attacking 20 times a second. I think that champs should be limited to at least 2 items and you cant build duplicates on the same champs. No more double guinsoos on vayne, no more double shojins on pyke. Items in the real game with unique actives and passives cannot stack with each other so why do they stack in TFT?

Fighting an enemy that has 2 or 3 {{item:3124}} or {{item:3161}} stacked on a single champion is nowhere near good. I played a game the other day where I had 2 full build items and 2 items in my inventory, and this guy I fought had _5 full build items on the field and 4 more items in his inventory to play around with._ Everyone should be guaranteed an item at every single minions round and I think the only way it'll be fair is if everyone has the same number of items. Keep the randomness of what items you get, but nobody should have 5 items while someone only has 2. At that point they are guarenteed to win based off of luck alone. Another thing, item stacking should NOT be a thing. Every champion should only be allowed 1 item. No more stacking 2 guinsoos on a vayne and having her fire 10 autos a second. Shit like that is gamebreaking. I singlehandedly climbed to the #2 spot after inting the entire game simply by building 2 guinsoos on a vayne, after that I beat everyone in my path except the #1 guy and it was a very very close fight.

The only option to 'counter' it is to get tanky enough, deal damage and kill them before they use it, or build all yordles which is a shit comp. There isnt actually a way to lessen the effects of it or avoid it at all. Add merc treads or banshees to the game would be my suggestion. CC is way too strong when stacked. When everyone builds literally the same broken shit over and over the only stuff thats left is the weak stuff. Graves is probably the shittiest champ in the game imo and i get like 1 or 2 shards of him every reroll. All I do is spend my gold rerolling trying to get champs I need.

Having full glacial gives 40% chance to freeze an enemy on attack. Guess what happened? In my final fight before losing, Glacial literally did not proc a single time. Literally. Zero. Procs. In all the fights before that, I had almost no procs, but did get a rare few. Simply put, I built full glacial, but did not get glacial, so I essentially didn't have a comp. Naturally, I got incinerated. Glacial SUCKS. If you get dumb lucky it works out amazing, but if you don't have dumb luck it SUCKS.

Then maybe you just got unlucky because with every team ive seen my champs are literally permastunned. Ashe is probably the strongest with the glacial passive, if you raise her attack speed then shes putting out more attacks per second and theres a much higher chance your champ will get cc'd. Literally every time against a glacial team the champ they happen to be attacking cc'd, over and over literally never gets to hit the other team

Example: If you're playing gunslingers, you're better off stacking Tristana with items than you are graves. Graves provides a synergy bonus and can do some damage. Is he going to be as good as Tristana if they are both stacked with items? No. Same goes for lucian in nobles, for example. You're better off stacking vayne than lucian. That's entirely on purpose as stated by Riot. Some units are going to be straight up better than others, that's the point. Some units, like Reksai, are transition units. If you want the void buff early, grab a reksai she's later replaced by chogath. If you don't want to use her early (because she's quite bad), then you'll have to wait for chogath to show up. There's decisions to be made here. Every item has about 2-4 good items it builds into, with the highest usefulness coming from recurve bow. It builds into 4 very good items. Good BF items: Shojin (which got hotfixed nerfed), and zekes. That's about it. Good recurve items: Rapid fire, Rageblade, PD, and hydra. Not sure about the BF complaint. Glacial is annoying, hardly "op". If void didn't exist, noble would never die. Assassins are good and they're a noob killer build. People don't know how to position units properly against assassins and they're meant to counter heavy backline reliant comps. Tanks are fine, shit isn't supposed to live forever. They have to live long enough for your backline to ramp up, that seems to be how its playing out currently. Also, correct positioning can prolong the life of your tanks by a lot. Having to amass gold if you get unlucky early does feel shitty to play, I'll agree with that. This problem is made even worse by the new change they made to tier 1 drops. Since tier 1 drops are less common later and other tiers of units show up more often, you pretty much HAVE to roll early to have any chance at a tier 3 unit. I agree, we need merc treads

Those are the most used "factions" right now because they are the strongest. -When an assassin melts your tank, which has defensive items on it, no, tanks are not fine. Like I said, build 3 voids and the rest assassins and they do so much damage your tanks last all of 3 seconds, with items. Tankage is incredibly weak in this game as opposed to damage, you need to stack multiple items on your tank in order for them to last long enough. -It's not just shitty to play but for the majority of players it is how they have to play. You either come out on top at the start of the game because you got lucky or you are forced to int and hope you get lucky later. There are some players who intentionally do this as a strategy and if they get lucky it pays out, but thats just it. Luck. This entire game is so randomized that you winning depends solely on luck. You need to get lucky with what champs you get and reroll, you need to get lucky with item drops and what items you get. There is 0 point in rerolling early it just wastes your gold, its better to just sit and take the beating until you have enough gold to try and fight back, but if the top 3 people are already so far ahead theres nothing you can do unless you run a full glacial team that just permastuns their 3 star champions. -You are also less likely to get champions that other people are using in your own champ pool. Everyone uses the same broken champions, making it harder for players who have been behind to match that power because you have less of a chance of getting them in your champ pool and the people who are ahead have already 2 or 3 starred those champs. If I want to replace my reksai with a cho gath, well sucks for me im stuck wasting money rerolling over and over because the guy with 100 hp who has been undefeated the whole game has a 2 star chogath already. They are already working on releasing ranked for this, meanwhile, the entire boards has been complaining about it since day 1 because of how unbalanced it is. For a beta, alright, I can understand, there are changes that have to be made and I didn't expect it to be perfect, but they are already testing ranked on this. The game is broken as fuck and half the shit in it is completely useless against the other half, with the entire game depending on randomization and they would rather just roll ranked right out than wait a while so they can balance the game first and get feedback from the community. That is what annoys me the most.

Playing a game right now. At the very first round of fighting another player after the 3 minion rounds, this guy already has {{item:1058}} {{item:3146}} {{item:3748}} on a kassadin. Right at the start of the game, 3 minion waves and hes almost got 3 full build items on a kassadin. This is nowhere near balanced.

The 1 game were I was #1 the entire match and uncontested, I ended up singlehandedly losing to this one dude who had 20 hp the whole time because he was able to create a team of mostly glacials that just permastunned my whole team. CC is so incredibly op and currently there really isn't a way to counter it, which is why glacial is so op if you can manage to build a team of it.

Like I said, he looks like an edgy arcade skin, not really a big battle boss. Would've been cool if they maybe released these 2 skins and then released a real Battle Boss one and made that skin the one that corrupted them, that way at least theres 1 skin that still fits the original theme and feel of the skinline

That's not the case with these new battle boss skins, it's quite evident that the skin team got lazy and just gave Yasuo and Qiyana cute outfits to make them look arcade-y, and don't get me wrong that kinda thing works with the arcade skins, but not the battle boss skins. I just wish the skin team didn't half ass these skins, if they made it so that these two skins looked similar to battle boss Malzahar wherein they redesigned the entire model and whatnot to look less human, I'd be so on board with these skins but again, these new skins look like cheap cosplay and it's sad.

: Not only that, but the skins are just a big chunk of an eye-hurting purple tone that blends everything together and doesn't let you see anything on the skin. That was my first impression, and sadly Caitlyn doesn't seem to have chromas to fix that. Qiyana's skin is nice, but it doesn't look arcade/battle boss and doesn't resemble an arcade game boss at all, same goes for Yasuo's except it looks even lazier. I guess Qiyana just fell in that category because of champion release, but Yasuo doesn't fit at all. Papercraft failed badly as experiment but these are popular, broad champs so its gonna be okay IMO.

There's an extreme difference between when I played norms and when I play ranked now. I actually lost a winnable game in my promos, would've been my second win and the one that got me to rank up a tier, because our 2/0 adc dc'd the game and never came back. So I lost a game I was winning because a teammate just dc'd. In what way is that fair to me and the rest of my team? I had a game the other day where our teammate loaded in, and then dc'd 2 minutes in. Never left fountain, never bought items, never moved. We couldn't remake because he loaded in. How is that fair?

If someone dc's from a match/afks/is gone for more than a certain amount of time everyone on their team does not lose any lp for a loss (as if it were a remake), the winning team earns the lp for the win, and the person who afk'd loses a full loss's lp. That way the winning team isnt penalized, the people who stayed and fought aren't penalized for the 4v5, and the person who caused it all is punished. Simple fix.

What I don't understand is do you get like a different rank based on what roles you play? For example, I'm projected Bronze 1 for mid and Silver 3 for support. Do I just have 2 different ranks? Or is my lowest possible rank overall Bronze 1?

If you keep her poked down she can’t engage on you without help. Keep your bushes warded, morello is a good item against her, ping the mias. If you play a melee champ into her you will have a hard time. It’s not an auto lose unless the person is an akali one trick that knows how to play her. Most players do not play her to her full potential.
