: You clearly don't play any MMO, if you seriously think your wait times are "long". Let's take WoW as an example, because it is most closely equivalent to League in terms of player base and ques. So, you need to que up for dungeons in the dungeon finder in WoW, either as a DPS (Your mid laner, ADC, or bruiser/damage pick top laner/jungler), the tank (your tank top laner/support, bruiser jungler), or healer (non-tank support such as Raka, Sona, or Janna.). There is one tank, one healer, and three DPS. If you are a DPS player, you will sit in que waiting for that elusive tank and shiny pokemon rare healer for lengths of time that would make your entitled head explode. 15 minute wait time? Holy shit, that was fast. 30 minutes? Not unreasonable. OVER AN HOUR!? Yeah, honestly not uncommon depending on your level. Then you want to add in "dodges"? Well, those happen in WoW too. You get into the dungeon. Your tank doesn't like the damage you're all putting out, or the healer's got them on tilt. The tank is pulling too fast for the healer, or a CC takes out the team and the healer dies once. They drop out of the entire dungeon, and you're sitting in that dungeon, waiting for the que time again. Que time to get a new DPS? Under a minute. Que time to get a new tank or healer? Go back a paragraph and do that AGAIN. League wait times with autofill enabled are nothing, even with the dodges. Plus, everyone has a champion in their hat that can support. Usually it's your mage mid-laner. Will it be as good of a support as a 'traditional' support? Probably not. The problem isn't the role, the problem is one's attitude in it. Think like the role requires, not like your usual role. That's true whether you're autofilled support, top lane, or even mid. (Yes, I've been autofilled mid in the past. It was strange, and very scary. I hate being in mid lane. How do you people do it.) And, of course, don't be afraid to just ASK! The number of teammates I get that scream about being autofilled once we're in game... Dude, if you'd just asked I'd have swapped with you... If you just ask the team nicely and don't act entitled to a swap, there's always a chance someone will trade rolls with you. What's lost by just being polite and asking? (Please note, you ask like an entitled douchecanoe, I will let you sit in that role and simmer. And I will then deny all surrenders when you want out of the game. Do not be a self-absorbed water-vessel.)

Of course I always ask politely and if I don't get it then I play Supp. And yes, I've played WoW since the start. Since BEFORE Dungeon Finder. And to be completely honest with you I was going to add to my original post that I would PREFER it to be the way that WoW has it in which you select the roles you want/can play. I would wait any length of time to play a role that I can properly do my job and contribute my share to the team. I have patience. Off-Supports aren't good in low MMR games btw. You need a textbook Support to help the ADC as much as possible.

: I've only gotten autofilled to top lane.

Your ranked match history looks like you queue for Support so I guess that's probably why you wouldn't get AutoFilled into Support.
: I can't climb out of B5?
I noticed this last night in my Promos into B3. I got placed 0LP B5 this season too and have been climbing out since I committed last week. EVERY time I get into promos I get the most unusual amount of AFK/Leavers and Trolls. First game of the series we had a Shyv Jungle who just quit at 8 minutes in without saying a word. Second game we had another Shyv Jungle who was playing like someone taught a chimpanzee how to play for about 15 minutes. THEN he started typing and said something like "Sorry guys, I had to pick up the pizza so I had my kid play for me."

: AutoFill is redundant and here is why.
I honestly wouldn't even care if they added a RIOT Point purchasable in the shop that gave you AutoFill Protection in lobbies for 12 hours or a day or whatever.
