: Confused about the size of the Event Horizon entities.
Read Cosmic Ashe splash art's author notes. They are energy beings, so they can resize their body at will. Cosmic Ashe stretching her bow is the cause of the current expansion of the universe. **Alex Flores Senior Artist - Riot Games** _I imagined Ashe the almighty cosmic being staring out into the cosmos and **stretching the evergrowing universe with her arrows** and her royal subjects all connected like a giant Nebula formation. I really enjoyed working on these and also figuring out the kind of treatment and scale I could play with. **I really wanted them to feel like they were not fully solid beings but beings made up of energy and formed through clusters of nebula, stars, planets and asteroids. **Huge thanks and shoutout to the skins team for all the hard work putting out these awesome skins! -Riot Games 2018-_ Posted 2 weeks ago**** Dark Stars don't have a fixed size, that's official from _Composing Dark Star Thresh's Music | Behind the Scenes_ and **Carnival Knights**. They grow bigger the more they consume; they are black hole entities. They can start at the size of human, and can end at the size of the universe at the moment they end the universe. There's a Dark Cosmic Jhin splash art thread right now where he shoots a galaxy behind him while recreating another one at the same time.
: Academy is an example of a skin line that was made for purely cosmetic reasons. Battle Academia went through a thematic development stage of several months where we decided what the look/feel/sound was, who the students are, the weapons, the world, etc. There's a chance in the future that the Academy skinline could be reworked into Battle Academia. But I personally view this akin to how we can have different flavors of anime skins, or mecha robot style skins, or Chinese fantasy skins. Academy is rooted in more real world schools, Battle Academia is like a shounen anime in League.

: Skin Universe Lore in 2019: Alt Fantasy, Multiverse Theory, and You
I would like to ask if you've already considered pitching the infinite multiverse concept of the Multiverse Theory (like Marvel), to justify alternate universes' parallel existence/parallel canonicity with the prime canon universe in a Marvel-style ["mega"verse](https://i.imgur.com/QmnO1Im.png). This is actually a good justification for the shared canonicity of AUs, because in an infinite multiverse or said megaverse, there will always naturally occur at least one prime universe out there where it is untouched by any AU elements. So instead of a lot people (especially those who do not frequent NA boards and unable to speak with skins writers frequently) still often jumping to saying "skins are non-canon, don't matter" because they do not affect the prime universe (even in real cases where they could), we can say the prime universe is the one universe where we are telling the story of _the_ Runeterra where any AU element probabilistically did not arise. For example, prime universe is (from the overarching Multiverse Theory perspective) the universe that Pulsefire people left alone even if they could mess with it had they wanted to. This would be possible because, in League's megaverse (or 'a massive Overworld' as Necrit puts it) composed of infinite universes, at least one such universe will always exist. That universe is the prime universe. Conversely there will also be a universe out there which contains an infinite multiverse upon itself, so that it can justify being able to connect to any present, past and future universes (mm, I wonder if I already mentioned those multiverse hoppers). In a mathematically infinite multiverse, all these possibilities are mutually possible at the same time. This way, we would be able to justify that all stories in League is canon in the League overworld, because it is an infinite multiverse - one where all that possibility of League of Legends occur together.

Blood Moon has lore, and the definitely-not-blood-ritual theme that Crimson Akali performs is too similar to that.
: That splash is the Chinese one, and it has no "lore" attached to it, as it just shows Akali holding a monster's head. It was simply a recolor of base Akali. However, being a RED recolor tied it heavily to Taki, a famous red female ninja. Even still, the Blood Moon isn't necessarily related to hunting down people for blood rituals, it's related to the celestial event of a Blood Moon, in which the moon takes a red hue, and it only happens very rarely, and has ties to the underworld. They could have reinvented Crimson Akali without completely eradicating the ties to the Taki homage.
> [{quoted}](name=Oleandervine,realm=NA,application-id=6kFXY1kR,discussion-id=rURbEczh,comment-id=0000000000000000,timestamp=2018-07-16T20:33:37.586+0000) > > That splash is the Chinese one, and it has no "lore" attached to it, as it just shows Akali holding a monster's head. So, the splash is the one that literally the overwhelmingly largest population of League players uses? Anyways, the only difference it has with the splash you uploaded is just different censorship standards in each region. Blood Moon is exactly related to performing blood rituals. Go read up their lore in the Skin Collections Tab and if you have time what **Carnival Knights** have said about them. Crimson Akali holding a masked head dripping blood in front of a similar ritual gate was just too thematically similar to that Blood Moon lore, and again, overall it's a very good choice and change in direction.
: That splash, yes, because she's holding a mask of sorts. But in terms of design, it definitely wasn't even remotely close to Blood Moon. Regardless, she went from being a female ninja homage to being something completely different altogether.
> [{quoted}](name=Oleandervine,realm=NA,application-id=6kFXY1kR,discussion-id=rURbEczh,comment-id=00000000,timestamp=2018-07-16T20:21:43.050+0000) > > That splash, yes, because she's holding a mask of sorts. But in terms of design, it definitely wasn't even remotely close to Blood Moon. Regardless, she went from being a female ninja homage to being something completely different altogether. Not only the splash, but also in terms of themes, because both Crimson and Blood Moon Akalis were connected to hunting down victims to perform some sort of blood rituals in their skin lore. Look at the blood dripping down from the masked head Crimson Akali was holding, and the ritual gate behind her too. Not the fact that they exist in a splash as paint brushes, but the lore they represent.
: How and why did Crimson Akali, an homage to Soul Calibur's Taki, become Infernal???
Crimson was too similar to Blood Moon, imo it's a good choice.

In the entire League multiverse? I would personally put the Dark Star as the single strongest entity across all our canons. Maybe some of the other writers will disagree, but a sentient singularity that mindlessly erases existence _just by being there_, while pooping out matter-devouring eldritch gods, is probably the thing you least want to deal with on some random Tuesday. It also can exist outside reality, which is... not good, if you happen to be part of one. Close runners up are the Nightbringer and Dawnbringer, the Blood Moon (which is sentient), and Cosmic Kassadin (who hangs out watching universes live, die, and be born again). I can't comment on the core IP because I'm not entirely sure who sits where. I know the Watchers are pretty high up there. Oh, and Little Devil Teemo is, ironically, also one of the most powerful entities across all of League. So sit back and marinate on that waking nightmare.
If Dark Star is now the single strongest entity in League of Legends multiverse, stronger than Blood Moon itself even, does that mean it and its champions can time travel as well like the Blood Moons (and also Pulsefire)?

Skins are canon in an alternate continuity. Skin canon materials like the PROJECT: Hunters and Star Guardian color stories get uploaded in Universe (any work present in **universe**.leagueoflegends.com specifically) though they exist and happen separately in their own world and in the Pulsefire multiverse. They take place in AUs, simply put. God-Kings were born in a different universe that came into existence by Chaos and Order's clash with one another and Darius and Garen are their descendants.

Not really, if you read his post carefully the OP had said that he is (word for word), in general, looking for "more champs with non-traditional limb setups", afterwards noting "more specifically someone with four arms". So yes, my answer of Elise qualifies to answer his general question. It's only when somebody replied to my "Elise" that Elise's apparently got more than 4 arms, that I actually pointed out that, no, she doesn't. For whom Elise's limbs had counted as 'arms' apparently to begin with (otherwise he should have said 'Elise has no arms' rather than 'she has more than 4').
