: I don't really know about this... It wouldn't really work with the ban system. Also, building a team of champions that share common objectives is more important than saving a few seconds to pick champs automatically.
It would happen after the ban phase. This wouldnt change people's decisions...it would just lower the amount of time to get into a game by lowering the amount of uncompleted matches due to kicking a player who didnt click the button the 4th time saying 'I'm here!'.

: I like hovering a potential champion, like Jinx, but during the time I have to pick my champ I usually change it to counter my enemy laner or the enemy team comp. if riot makes this feature optional then I am fine with it because I can turn it off and not worry.

The games in which all of your people had riven icons, since you are gold, there is going to be slightly less yasuo players, while here in bronze/silver, there are a abundance of yasuo players, much more than riven. And there are significantly more players in silver and bronze than in gold or higher.
Hm, still not sure about the bar thing...but you are right about more players playing yas in lower ratings.

: Don't get me wrong. In lower MMR (Read below plat) this won't have much of a bad effect in my opinion. At higher levels of play (Read Diamond+) it's detrimental to drafting phase. Think about esports: How many times do they mention "They just got out drafted" or in soloqueue realizing that the loss was probably during drafting phase. It's because it's an important part of the game, strategically. Not being able to respond to the enemy drafting phase isn't good for the health of the game. Overall I just feel that it leads to "dumbing" the game down and like my last "tldr" pointed out that it will decrease the quality of players. You hear people mention that the professional players now are vastly superior to the old for the most part because over-all there is more game knowledge. It's also a fact that it's because other people are better so they can improve even more. If the quality of each phase is increased (IE pick/ban being important) then the over-all gameplay is improved and you get better players.
But should League be pushing lower level players to NOT include strategy into the pre-game? How are they to learn that pre-game strategy can actually impact the outcome of the game?

Sure, but this is not strategic-its a gamble. League has a system (we all saw in pro-play) that works just fine and includes all aspects that people are looking for within this forum.

Having duplicates eliminates the rationale for including more bans within each game. If you want player control, you should allow counter-banning to happen. For example, if you see a specific champion banned on the enemy team, you may want to ban who that banned champion counters. The way you have it removes all strategy from the banning phase. This is depressing because you are trying to make the game easier for people when the game does not need more hand-holding. Taking this banning idea of 'ban who you do not like to play against' is offensively simple to the player base. (Additionally, the new runes and masteries may be falling into the same fate i.e. combining 2 pre-game strategy features into one-again more simplified feature). (To add to this same argument, helping players with gaining more champions on the new leveling scale in pre-season is a sure-fire way to have inexperienced players jump into ranked earlier and with even less experience. Is league's new motto to support lack of game-knowledge and strategy? If so, I predict this game will become very boring, very quick due to lack of cognitive effort that players will have to utilize when jumping into a game) Further, when the same champion is banned on both teams, that no longer is 10 champions banned (obvious I know, but still relevant to note). Meaning, the ban-to-available champ ratio is reduces greatly. Now, I am not expecting that ratio to be the same (or even near) the original ratio when the game started, and I believe that the ratio needs to be higher because new champs are coming out every couple months.

I love how Riot tries to have us forget the URF that we enjoyed. Picking our champion was 90% of the fun of this game-mode, and now Riot is choosing who we play for us. EVERYONE knew what they were getting into when they went into the que of old nerf: broken champions and a lot of fun. Do not try to balance a game mode when it is just that: a fun game mode. Also, where are those 5 bans that can help balance the game in general that we were promised 3 months ago?

I am in the exact same position. I do not see the club and all of my friends still see me as the owner, have tags and all. I cannot chat with them, and cannot put the tag on. Please fix this.

: His nerf was not a buff. His winrate went down. Personally I think the Zed thing comes from being strong for a while and people being overall slow to adapt. If I had to guess I would expect his ~~winrate ~~ banrate to drop gradually over the next few patches as people figure out that he is no longer ban worthy. Although that is just my opinion and we will see what happens. > He just ults you and there is nothing you can do. You either die or he blinks back and he is safe. This statement really bothers me because it is very hyperbolic and just untrue. It distorts the argument in a way that doesn't fuel good discussion but shows a hatred for a single champion.
And so you get defensive. Is that any better than stating one's feelings about a champion? No. This response actually halts conversation further by silencing people. Silencing is the best way to have people stop playing your game. Please think of this for future replies.

None of these changes make me want to play more. Mage's damage has decreased due to flat AP items having less AP Poor Cass does not even do close to the amount of damage she did before, AND my favorite enchantment has been removed. I do not want to buy an entire item (black cleaver or trinity force) just to get my small movement speed passive. This is all ridiculous.

I understand that, but I also feel that the knock up is a huge part of the utility...too much of it. I feel it either needs to be a different debuff (Slow), or a shorter knockup.
