: Wasn't the capital of the Avarosans Frostheld?
Former home of the Avarosans, even before Vathcaer, I just reread the end of the comic and scanned over her Bio/Stories for maybe some mention of returning to Frostheld, but It would seem their new location is still unnamed, maybe? The only information i have gathered is there's a lot of Hearthbound in her tribe hinting a western location. Near Frostheld for a portside town is likely, but along the rivers or by Rakelstake is also Hearthbound friendly. {{champion:22}} (adding an Ashe just to make my response prettier)

Yeah, which is why i find it strange. They are undoubtedly very similar and so, i hope this is covered in Fiddle's new lore.

: not likely. These changes force him to go full lethality
I find this debatable, the changes to Q (the very short CD) really push for Tri build, whereas the W changes push for on-hit. Magic damage to his E is super brutal to the lethal build (or even BC) As well as having that passive shield makes it really bad to lack HP. With this, i almost expect something really similar to Jax's Tri/Titanic. Good clearing, Burst, health for passive, Q & W will utilize both items. Later items will vary greatly depending on the game, but should maintain AD ,HP, or both. (Maw, Ga, Deadmans, lethality, armor pen) Honestly, i dont know which Wu i prefer (Bruiser or Assassin), but he's begging for a more unique Q or passive. His initial RW idea with the growing staff and crushing blows was a pretty decent idea.
: It has it's uses, but i would agree that most on hit's are too effective right now. And correct me if im wrong, it feels like cursed blade stacks... as in a 3 star can become a 1 star on a high chance on hit.
it does stack, 4 gunslinger, 6 Blademaster, Trist with cursed blade and Bork. I watched as the man with five 3 stars get reduced to all 1 stars. Truly tragic...for him at least.
: I was thinking about that, as much as i would love to see TFT version of almost every champ, it'd just make the game unplayable. They'd never do this but it'd be really cool to see a second TFT with a completely different champ pool.
They said as time goes by, they intend on removing and replacing, without ever settling. So its likely that we'll see origins, their rosters, or their abilities get changed entirely as time goes by. Hecarim replacing kindred or J4, Lux, Xin making an appearance as nobles. Not to mention the entire Ionia origin.

: Add a team mode and a practice mode. I feel like morde needs buffs and kassadin should be nerfed. I tried a three star morde with knight buffs and items and it was still horrible. Funny but horrible.
I think a simple fix to this would be percent hp damage added. A mix of that with a reduced flat damage to scale with ap, this would set him up pretty well as the "DMG" knight that can counter early health stacked units. Also percentile damage goes well with the phantom theme.

: Love the races and magic item work. Not currently planning any campaigns, but looks like some excellent material.
The magic item list has been a long process, at times I got annoyed or lazy. Hopefully when people pick it up, they can work with the idea I had for an item and expand on it. Thanks for the feedback though Hopefully I can get a one-shot available for you and a group to try someday! {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}}
: I really like it and honestly would love to try it out with a group. First thing I noticed: You gave Zaunites all these benefits for being augmented, which is awesome. But why does Piltover in comparison feel so... flat? Just one proficiency and they can analyse a creature... Piltover has hextech devices and augmentations, too. So why can't they upgrade themselves like the Zaunites? Maybe you could have even split it up, by making Zaunites have more augmentations in the direction of strength and constitution, while Piltover augmentations tend towards precision (dexterity) and enhanced senses (wisdowm). Also: I would give Piltover champions the choice to be proficient in investigation, as well as medicine. Zaun should also have the choice to be proficient in sleight of hand.
Amazing feedback. I was thinking the same thing actually. It would appeal to a champion such as Camielle. However, I worry for the identity for Caitlyn. Jaycee, and Ezreal. My alternative to this was to make Pilterover into inventors of a single piece of gear or many small trinkets.Something identical to UA's Aritificer Revised. They can make trinkets that can perform simple jobs like a torch or recorder or even perhaps hold cantrips spells. Or make a 2 form weapon such as a longsword/whip. Thanks for the feedback {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}

: Old Galio Plz
Honestly, a lot of champions conceptually remained the same in terms of feel and kits. The only rework that created a missing void in my champion list is Aatrox. that champion is BARELY BARELY BARELY even resembling the old champion in terms of playstyle and kit. Literally just his third Q, is like his old Q. Oh and he has a self revive i guess. {{champion:266}}
: Has there been any updates to this Homebrew!? I would love to see more! A couple of friends and myself have thought it'd be cool to do a campaign set in Runeterra and you have sparked a very large interest out of me to see what else is coming out and what else you have planned for this Homebrew! That is, if you have done anything more to complete the items, warlocks, and anything else about making this a fluid Homebrew design. Either way, I am super pumped to see more! Definitely post some updates in the comments if you have them!
Hello! (sorry for the delay) I've only just started my 3rd update on everything. The long pause due to testing with one shots as well as waiting for the Kayle/Morgana Lore update, to see if they become a plausible race or effects on deity believers. With that, i don't see any upcoming updates to League that would cause me to wait. There will be changes to Demacians (due to Sylas and Kayle's update expanding that horizon) Noxians need to be touched up, as well as a buff for Targonians. Vastayans and Yordles will have a MINOR rework altogether to make them a bit more "magical". If you use Facebook "Runeterra 5e" is where you can find a page i'll be attending to for updates. I appreciate the excitement! {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
: There are a few pieces of Gragas concept art that seem to support your point possibly about Gragas being a dwarf at one point. Apologies if this has been posted before or not. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/b/ba/Gragas_concept_2.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20100928050615 https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/e/e5/Gragas_Concept_Exploration.png/revision/latest?cb=20161203004349 As to how long or whether he even was considered a dwarf at these stages, I have no idea of; however, he does seem to resemble one even moreso over here (especially with the size comparison chart to a regular human being with the several concepts of Gragas aligning up).
I do recall seeing this before. There is an obvious inhuman shape to him, especially his size. Knowing Riot, they consider the whole dwarf thing (or whatever they wish to call it) as canon but they aren't willing to go into much detail and rather insert "from mysterious civilization". So it hints that he is something different, without needing to go into detail. {{champion:79}}
: I wouldn't have Ursine because they're magically transformed/altered humans with wild and savage tendencies, I imagine their closest DnD equivalent would be Bugbears. Sure the lore of Ursine is scarce currently, but from the little we do know suggests that depending on what end of the stick you're on Ursine can be monsters. Also would you really except an Ursine in a party, traveling to places like Demacia? I guess that depends on the DM's story and where it takes place, so if the journey is set predominantly in the Freljord it could make sense, but as soon as the party is in Shurima it starts to feel a bit off. ALso, I would reflavour the Void pact to Watchers instead. Since its them specifically who are the source of power, not the Void dimension. Narrative devs have been quite clear about Void energy only eviscerates things, not grant powers.
There's alot of reasons why "X" race seems off in "X" location. As long as my PC has a decent explanation for their distant travels, i think its fair. I keep the void thing rather broad due to stories like Malz and Kass. People who used to live in or near Icathia could have contracted their own thing. Anything is possible. All in all, i am being flexible for a better gaming experience, more choices in races just makes the character creation all the more exciting. Same thing that WotC has been known to do with their races such as the newly introduced Centaurs. Also, I mean, as a DM i just have to think of plausible reasons why this or that is allowed or happened. I mean at this rate, i could have a Fuzzy Yordle from Bildgewater wielding a Darkin Weapon! the crazy and unbelievable are bound to happen, its the DM and PC's job to make it believable though.
: If it was me, I'd keep character creation simple. ● Limitations on those augmented with Hextech. Don't need an Urgot with every game. (Actually Hextech Augmented might be better as a Class anyway) ● No sentient machines (since Orianna & Blitz are canonically unique). ● Definitely no Aspects, Ascended, Iceborn etc (maybe no Darkin either, but they'd make good Warlock patrons) ● No Shyvana, Zac, Brand, Warwick or Rammus types (that would include Ursine). ● No sorcerers (not a race but look at all the sorcerers in League's lore like LeBlanc, Vlad, they're insainly OP. Not to mention Immortality is a lvl20 unlock) Trolls maybe, we don't know a lot about Runeterra Trolls but I'd say they're equivalent to Giants. They can crush a person beneath the palm of their hand, wich could be a problem. I had considered "Cursed" as an optional trait, since we have champs like Cassio, Elise, Amumu, Nautilus, Pyke. Although it would have to be balanced out to avoid being OP because those curses can be more helpful than a burden for those champs. Edit: lastly, keep in mind Vastaya are confined to magically rich environments, as they need it like humans need water to survive. It might not even be worth having them as a playable race with that condition. Only vastaya-halfbreeds like Nidalee might be able to travel more than pure vastaya breeds. But at that point a Vastaya-halfbreed is just a Druid anyway.
Youd be surprised that iceborn are essentially just ice people and nothing confirms that ashe. Liss, and sej are the last iceborns. They are just famous ones. Ashe and Sej did have a regular human parent but iceborn genes are just super dominant. So they are potentially plentiful. Ursai are simply plentiful but like Alistars race, they just remain in their tribes. The Zuanite augmentations are iconic to the location. Viktor, urgot, Warwick, signed, janna. Almost no one walks out of Zaun without enhancements. Lastly, beat you to the warlock thing https://docs.google.com/document/d/1U0zbnbf1FjMbyPkYKUI9Rkd7R1R4wYcLLesMy5z0Enc/edit?usp=drivesdk Edit: Machines I think are fine to exist considering blitz is a prototype and orianna is well..I guess the second proven robot to exist? I'm sure there are more to follow after these 2. Vastayan I considered the magical thing, but Rengar does roam shurima after being confirmed as Vastayan so seems like they aren't TOO dependent on it
: Curious what playable races you might have? Since Runeterra doesn't have the traditional scope of races like D&D has. No Orcs, Teiflings, Gnomes, Dragonborn, Goliaths, Warforged etc. Something like this? ● Human - Demacian - Noxian - Piltie (inventor or artisan background) - Ionian - Shuriman (nomad background) - other ● Vastaya ● Minotaur ● Human-variant - Hextech augmented - Mutant - Vastaya halfbreed - Cursed - other ● Yordle ● Artifical lifeform similar to Orianna, Zac, Galio. (The scope of this one might be too broad) Honestly you'd need to invent a lot of thematic stats and balancing for these options, particularly the Human-variants. Not all of them can be reskined versions of D&D rules, namely the Vastaya.
It is rather short handed because I look into if the race is plentiful and some remain unclear. Resorted to "sub races" to add that variety I needed. Here's a link to an older version of my races https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aToH4YoOCqybyeV9ho37AdSwSiKVfYRUJ2sAlbFBnPU/edit?usp=drivesdk I intend to looking more into kayle and morganas race after their lore changes.
: Nope, currently he's just a big fat dude.
Seems like it, I think people were just trying to reason with his odd shaped features and the lore saying hes from a "mysterious civilization". Just wanted to make sure I wasnt denying the possibilities of being a giant dwarf.

Simply put, I saw Garen as a fighter who dipped into Paladin, or just a Paladin with spells like shield and a smite of sorts. Taric is another I would put in the cleric/Paladin section, but how I responded to that is basically, one's passion can act as a paladins source of power. Garens passion for Justice fuels him with his power. Whereas Taric obeys the stars. So unlike vanilla 5e paladins powersource takes many shapes and forms, but there is still a commitment or law you must abide to, like Vanilla.

: We are also talking about the difference in Aatrox, "The world ender" .. a warrior, .. and the Darkin version of a scholar, .. an immortal scholar at that. He will have probably learned a thing or two about his abilities. Perhaps his possession and adaptation of a host is much more conservative and less destructive. He would also be much more likely to understand that he isn't going to have the opportunity to inhabit a new host like Aatrox had, so he would be more careful to preserve, or extend the life of Khol. Also consider the possibility of Shraan, being intellectual and probably more curious by nature, might take interest in exploring the mind of Khol, .. so maybe the spirit of Khol would essentially merge with Shraan. He may retain his knowledge and memories as if they were his own, and the two would be virtually indistinguishable from the other.

He may retain his knowledge and memories as if they were his own, and the two would be virtually indistinguishable from the other. So, I'll get little more depth about Shraal and Khol. There's concept art in the LoL Universe section of a nameless Darkin with a snake head and a spear. His design kind told me he was a wise vanguard of sorts, dressed kinda scholarly like Nasus. He is who I named Shraal. I saw an ascended designed to work with knowledge like Nasus. Shraal, unlike Nasus focused heavily on studying the Void, when Ascended were recruited to act as the frontline against the Void, Nasus was insisted to go, however Shraals passion made him volunteer in Nasus' place. Khol, a regular mortal student of Shraal, was left to carry on Shraals studies. Shraal, on the frontline gained more information on the Void than he could ever imagine, becoming impatient to use this knowledge for when he returned from his duties. This knowledge came with a price, PTSD. When the Darkin began their uprising, Shraal was present, but not because he wanted to, but he had to. His PTSD caused insanity, led him into an eager rampage to be returned to his studies. It was Khol along with a few other mages that put the binding of Shraal into his spear, when Shraal could have tried to resist this imprisonment, his student's presence put an ease to his resistance. The Aspect of the Trickster was present for this as well and felt pity for the fallen scholar. Through, pity and Khol's convincing words, Zoey built a chamber for Khol and Shraal to continue their progress in their Void research. In this secured chamber, only accessible by the Labyrinth, Khol became Shraals host, eventually giving his whole body to Shraal as the years go by. Shraal, at this state is kinda like the Beast in Beauty & Beast. He just attends to his research and uses his passion of Void research to control his dangerous urges. With time, he has decent control over his sanity. He owes this second chance to Khol, his former student.
Fasmodey (EUW)
: Possible, since being a darkin doesn't mean you are evil necessarily, but no host can live for long against a darkin. Khol would die eventually (assuming Shraan already possessed him).

Khol would die eventually (assuming Shraan already possessed him). The events of Shraan being locked away was roughly the same time as all the rest of the Darkin were trapped into their weapons. So this is at least a few centuries, there's no way Khol's lifespan could last, his body weakening through time would have the possession happen eventually. But does it mention anywhere that the body of a Darkin naturally withers after possesion? Aatrox had to seek new hosts over and over, but can't tell if that is just for the desire of a stronger body or if the old body is withering away from age or combat.

: i like conqueror better
Don't do Conqueror, it's bad for your passive. Converting 20% of your magic damage into true means you get 20% less shield when hurting enemies. Phase, Aery, or Glacial are still your best options for whatever match ups.

: Of course rek'sai's ult still has it's uses but it only benefits her and not even by that much. Nocturne's ult benefits him and his whole team. The black out effect is a game changer. Rek'sai's ult barely has any impact on a teamfight so it should bring more benefit to her personally shouldn't it? Yet the target is able to dodge it with a basic ability and you gain zero benefit and neither does your team. That doesn't seem wonky?
Rek'sai's kit is more fit around being a 2 form champ and using all her tools to help her succeed. Due to that, they have to make the ult a little less impactful compared the typical 1 form champ who has less tools. That said, if the argument is who's ult is better? in most cases Noct's is better, but that's just how things balance out when you compare a 4 ability champion to a 7 ability champion. I'm sure every Rek'sai player would love to rock that Noct ult, next level global presence. I used to main her so i feel like i can contribute to that statement. Anyway, i hope this helped! {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
: Nocturne doesn't go untargettable during it, and it's on a long enough CD that you don't want to use it during combat. A good Rek'Sai will NEVER use her ult to engage a fight.
Rek'sai's is a dodge and/or execution, Noct's is for making picks or backline diving once the fight already started. Noct's ult is best used when you're snowbally and want to pick off that midlaner or adc when they think they're safe due to Shen/Raka ult, your ult prevents any info coming to them whether or not they should ult or who. This is of course only a little of what each ult can do, and can be put in even more unique scenerios, but i hope this helped! {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}

: Holy Mother of Aurelion Sol Rengar top is cancer.
yeah oddly enough, there isn't an armour item in the game that specifically goes against physical casters, unlike Banshee's veil who would be the anti magic caster. However, Rengar top is not much of a problem to the correct top lane picks. You want sticky duelists like Jax, Trundle, Irelia, and Darius, champions who specialize in 1v1 scenarios. When against a juggernaut or duelist, Rengar will literally do them the favor of coming to them.

Its pretty simple, Krugs and Chickens were made to be a lot more difficult camps than Blue's Wolves and Gromp because red buff provides a lot more aid to clearing and surviving with HP regen and Dmg bonus. Due to this, Krugs and Chickens provide more gold and exp.
: who can catch a splitpushing 6 items udyr with moblity boots
Hard to say, id assume a well fed assassin, fighter, or Vayne can actually kill him before he gets too far. However, a good counterplay strat would be to just have someone who can simply push harder and outduel him pushing against him. Darius is a champion who can split push and generally you'll need 2 or more to take him down. Udyr would need help and that would take players away from the next potential team fight in midlane or drag.

: I was also under that impression. Maybe OP meant he rerolled Lulu and got some other champion, then rerolled again and got back Lulu.
It happened the other way, where it consumed a reroll and lulu stayed. Didnt think it could happen either lol.
: 1/*champs you own* id guess
