: The Good, The Bad, and the League: 6/6 - 6/12
Still can't play a game, since Friday the 7th. I load into the game fine, but about every 40-50 seconds, I disconnect and get a "Attempting to Reconnect" message that pops up. After about 20-30 seconds of that, I connect again and everything is fine. I don't have Avast or AVG; but I've ran Avastclear.exe about 9 times just to be certain. I saw the notification, so I figured that must be the problem. I saw the post that stated if we were still having issues, to seek further help from Avast. So this morning I spent an hour on the phone with an Avast Support Technician, and they confirmed (through an app that gives them control of my computer) I don't have Avast or AVG on my computer. They were just as confused as I was, as to why I was calling them about a problem with Riot's game. They were willing to try and solve the issue, for a service charge of $80. Considering I don't have their programs, I couldn't justify taking this option. My internet is not the problem, during the disconnects Spotify, twitch and youtube all run fine in the background. My PS4 is playing Netflix fine and I can download things on my computer, but I can't keep a constant connection on League. The client works fine, I can voice/text chat, but can't even stay in a custom game 2 minutes without getting the "Attempting to Reconnect" message. In addition to removing Avast/AVG (which again, I never had) I've disabled all firewalls and virus protections I have (Windows Defender), I re-installed League, I've called my internet provider (Spectrum), and I've even wiped my entire computer clean (both apps and personal files) and when I rebooted my computer, the very first app I installed was League. Even with a fresh computer, with only League on it, I still have the same issue. I've scoured this forum for help, the only answer I see are the disable Avast/AVG or add League to exceptions. Neither of those solutions work for me. I submitted a ticket on the 10th? Got one response telling me to disable Avast/AVG or add League to exceptions (sounds familiar...) and the next was an extremely generic and almost insulting "Did you try unplugging your modem?". My latest response has my log from the HRT, hopefully that will give some information as to what is happening. Sorry for the rant, but I honestly feel like I've done _**EVERYTHING**_ I can do to solve this, while Riot is just blaming another company that their game doesn't work. Also doesn't help that I was demoted a rank from this issue when they first started to happen on Friday, and none of my friends that play are having this issue.

: Not gonna lie, the idea of calling a separate company to fix riots problem, is very strange. However after a week of trying, I guess I'm willing to try anything. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll let you guys know how it goes

They claimed they **_MIGHT_** be able to fix it, and that I should sign up for their premium support service ($80 one time, or $120 for 3 months) if I wanted them to solve the problem. Seeing as I never had Avast or AVG (they confirmed this when they were searching through my computer) I can't really justify signing up for their service. The whole time, I felt like an idiot being on the phone with a support person, complaining that I can't play a game cause another company blames their company. Mind blowing how Riot is handling this.

I was so happy last night when I saw this solution. So simple! Just uninstall a hidden firewall that Windows 10 automatically put on my computer. Great! I've spent the last 2-3 hours trying many variations of uninstalling Avast (running in safe mode, not in safe mode, on the admin account, checking all the Avast program options, etc). Nothing for Avast shows in my program files. Still, League dc's every 30-40 seconds. Best part, none of my friends are having any issue, just me :)

I've done the Avastclear.exe thing about 5 times, and it still disconnects. I don't see anything for Avast anywhere in my program files. I even turned off all windows firewalls, and I still get disconnected. Worst part, my ticket was answered with a generic "look at the Avast solution we already posted".

: Because i had this issue yesterday and it got fixed with task manager? I am not saying riot didn't fuck up lol. Not by any means. But that notification would appear even if it's fixable by ctr alt delete because when you play a game you expect it to run smooth and not need you to do that.
I was truly hoping your solution would work for me, so I went into an ARAM to test it. Loaded in, got the "Attempting to Reconnect" message, so I CtrlAltDel as recommended, closed the League client process, and reconnected back into the ARAM. Unfortunately the problem is still here. Currently I am in the match and bouncing back and forth to write this as I DC {{sticker:sg-ezreal}} . Sorry if I came off as a dick, this is frustrating lol

There is a notification at the top of the client, confirming that people are having connection issues, and it's on Riot's end. Why are you giving literally the simplest solution, that everyone has without a doubt tried, and sticking to it like no ones ever considered it? It's kind of silly tbh

Every time I try to play (norms, ranked, and even customs) I get an "Attempting to Reconnect" message about every 30-40 seconds, and during that time I can't move or do anything in-game. I've submitted a ticket, I've e-mailed the support e-mail, I've even tried random solutions I found online (disable iPv6 or something, disabling firewalls, etc.) and nothing I have tried leads to any solution. I think the most frustrating part of it, is ALL of my friends who play league (about 6-7 of them) can play fine, no connection issues whatsoever. Cherry on-top, the red exclamation is there as a simple "We know it's messed up, don't bother us; we'll solve it when we want". Excuse me if I seem bitter/triggered/tilted. Mine's been like this since Friday; I was really hoping they would have a solution before Wednesday, and wouldn't lazily package the solution with the 9.12 patch.
