: If you're basically going to require smite to jungle, can you just auto assign it?
Again, the suggestion is to have the summoners set when you get into champion select. So if you're not paying attention, you get smite by default. If you're paying attention. You can change it to whatever you want. There is no, "You're forced to take the spell with no available recourse", being suggested.
: How about paying a little attention during draft if you care so much about winning? Not going afk might be a good start.

So you make assign it by default when they get into champion select, and they can manually change it. If they're not paying attention enough when they switch roles there's not much else to be done.

Yup. He sucks. His barrel is basically static shiv, and, outside of bronze it's pretty much only good for late game wave clearing.

Duoing with a higher MMR (the new 'elo') friend is a bad idea if you can't carry feeders. And if you really want to duo, then one of you should adc, and the other should top or mid. You should definitely not duo bot lane together. This is because Riot tries to create matches where both teams have roughly the same average MMR. So your friend is being counter-balanced by much lower MMR players to have the same average MMR as the other team. example. Your team's MMR: 100 (you), 200 (your friend), 50, 50, 50 Your opponent's MMR: 90, 90, 90, 90, 90. All of your teammates will get ruined by anyone on their team while you get pissed and rage.

If you get reported by just about everyone in a single game, you're going to get hit by some manner of punishment, the same if you're reported once or twice in every game for a week. If calls for 'report' in the chat log is a reasonable indication of how often I'm reported, I should have been punished by that standard. I haven't been. Either because there IS some check on the validity of reports, or the bar is higher. It'd be nice to know some details on how it's quantified, but the bar doesn't seem that low.

: Silver 4 Sivir Main Help at this Elo
'Not feeding' is often the difference between Bronze and Silver. It gives your team a chance to win the game after the laning phase. Successful ADCs tend to hover around the outskirts of team fights until all 5 enemy champions are accounted for (visible/dead). This is especially important if the enemy team has 'assassins' that can burst down a poorly positioned carry.
: Please some one help me
Bronze games are often decided by factors other than player skill. Bad lane match-ups, (un)lucky shots, etc.--Basically whomever get's lucky first tends to snowball and carry the game. You help your team and escape bronze by not letting your lane opponent snowball. That is, shift your focus from "getting kills" to "not dying". If you do, you will still have a chance to snowball (if your lane opponent is generous), but the likelihood of someone on the other team snowballing falls by about 1/5th (20%). Statistically you will win more games, and eventually get dumped in silver. (p.s. If you don't make liberal use of your 'mute' button, you will still have to listen to the 10/10/0 players complain about how you're too heavy because you don't have enough kills. Just give it time, you'll move out of bronze and they won't.)

: MinnitMann seems to really enjoy the changes, and he's a diamond GP main. He's been spending most of his time practicing this new GP, as have a lot of his mains. I mean, let's face it, the passive got buffed quite a bit and it now works on towers. Q is largely the same, but it rewards you even more by using it to last hit by improving your ult. Your ult actually has quite a long CD now, but it can be customized to suit your needs. (Personally, I think the upgrades should be cheaper than they are right now) W is largely the same except it scales better the more you're injured. The only point of contention would be the new E. My personal view is that it's not perfect; but it's a hell of a lot better than the old one. The old one was so damn boring and uninteractive. It had no counterplay for your opponents, and it was difficult to balance because it was an aura. The new E is a lot more versatile, interactive, and able to be counterplayed. (I would say there's too much counterplay, since barrels grant ten gold) I think the mechanics are complex, but not overly difficult. I do wish the barrel slow was more pronounced at early levels, since maxing Q first is the most important thing now. I do enjoy being able to use the barrels as a free passive reset to stomp down towers though. Most importantly, GP now has wave clear without having to buy {{item:3087}} or {{item:3077}} or {{item:3025}} first, and that's HUGE. His playstyle is almost like a {{champion:98}} now, where he can off splitpushing the other side of the map and when a teamfight breaks out he can help right away. The difference is that Shen actually has to stop pushing and join the fight, GP can keep right on pushing. Alternatively, the new passive and the passive reset on his barrels allow for more bruiser GP builds. So he can build tanky, but still do damage as long as he keep popping barrels (whether they hit an enemy or not). If you do hit an enemy with a barrel, whether by hiding one in a bush or placing one near you then throwing out a quick chain to detonate, the 60% armor pen can add significant damage to even the tankiest GP.
Also. . . Thanks for the constructive discussion and not being a Troll :-)

I agree with you that the kit can be made to work. I just don't think they kept it attuned to the play style his regulars have come to enjoy. MasterDragonKing seems to have given up on GP all together. (Mained GP in Challenger 1 this season)

Or the ability to escape CC? or. . . well, we can just start with those two questions. Uh, I was talking about "play style", not his kit. His play style was running around spamming a ranged AA and only went into melee range if he could win, you know, basically the same thing an adc does? Also, every adc has an ability to escape cc, it's that item called QSS. If it's his W and R that make him unique, then it didn't change, in fact, his R is more unique than before while his W basically stayed the same.
I guess there's where we diverge. I didn't see him as having a set 'play style'. He was one of the most versatile champions in the game.
: > LoL. So you're just happy because you used to get worked over by GP in lane? No, i'm more happy garbage ass players are given less of an opportunity to think they're good at the game because they no longer have the spammable braindead champion that used to exist.
I'm not sure that's the healthiest way to be happy, but if it works for you. . .

It doesn't apply his passive any more. I haven't found official confirmation yet, but it also seems like the animation is longer.
: Because you can no longer run critplank and face smash your keyboard and get an easy 2 shot kill. Now, GP players are forced to utilize his kit respectively. I don't mind laning against him now and i actually respect dying to people that kill me with GP. He now requires people to THINK about how they're going to win lane instead of mashing his Q. So happy with this rework.
LoL. So you're just happy because you used to get worked over by GP in lane? I'm not really sure this update will be the deliverance you think it is.

: Awww is someone mad because they have to actually try and play him instead of going critplank and getting easy 2 shots?
Awwwww someone is happy because they used to get pwned by the "OP" gangplank players and thinks they're safe now. . . Lol

You even have to stalk my profile to see what kind of nonsense comparison you think would make me salty. That's ridiculous and makes your comparison even more useless.
Actually, if that's how you feel about what I said, then I've successfully communicated.

: The barrels do a lot more than just waveclear. How can you even say that when it replaced Raise Morale? You simply don't know how to use them.
Imagine if they took Nami, removed her passive, and changed her E to place barrels that would need to be auto-attacked to do _anything_ Then they take her ult, weaken it, and require you to heal a team mate 100 times to 'upgrade' it.

I can't believe one of the best GP players in NA commented on this. You're a hero dude.
: The New Gangplank Is Atrocious
My feelings exactly. 1) His passive needs to be managed--so it's not really a passive anymore. 2) He lost a ton of mobility. 3) His parley animation seems longer (maybe I'm just so depressed it seems that way). 4) His ult is crappy. I don't care if it can be upgraded, parleying 100 cs to bring it back to par is just stupid. My guess is that few, if any, long standing GP players enjoy his new kit.
