lux: root and slow. vel: knockup and slow. brand: stun. neeko: root and huge AoE stun engage ult. zyra: root and slow. you know who doesnt have most of these things, and require kills to be effective later? ANY ADC. draven has one knock-aside, but his abilities have no base damage and he does nothing without gold. mf has a slow. again, does nothing without gold. ashe is permaslow, brings vision, and has a global stun. all good. she STILL cant do as much as most champions without gold. further, the items they can build do nothing for their stats. ashe can run tanky stats and have font of life, sure, but she still has to be good at last hitting to proc relic shield, as it doesnt work on ranged champions. mf is the only one who can use any spellthief stats. draven is even worse. marksmen arent made for the support role. the one time mf was picked support, it was to counter zyra, and it ONLY works on zyra.

now hold on, a mid lane caster in the bot lane as a carry is fine, as long as you know what youre doing. im terrible at adc. cant get out of bronze on adc, but steadily rising through silver on every other role. i picked cassi adc one game because the rest of my team was AD/tank (support was pyke, top/jg were tanks) and we absolutely stomped. i understand supportlesticks and suppashe being frowned upon, but dont lump the APC in with the rest of the bullshit picks people do.

old ezreal didnt have as much identity as this one. old ezreal had an ability that allowed him to buff an entire team with attack speed, but in order to use it himself, he either had to E into it or build AP so it actually dealt damage. new ezreal allows for more counterplay by allowing a skilled player to avoid a WQ combo by dodging, while simultaneously allowing ezreal leeway to aggressively EQ by refunding mana if he hits a WEQ combo. also, just because you dont like seeing carry champs have damage (shocker, seeing as theyre carries), doesnt mean their changes should be nerfed or are bad. he has a viable identity as a hybrid caster that can push down turrets now. hes practically a foil for kaisa, the hybrid shooter who pushes down teams.

No, I agree. I came here to say that the most recent patch broke my game. I have tried to play 4 games since the patch. I have successfully connected to two of them. The first one, I crashed out during load. I ran the hextech repair tool, game timed out while I was trying to get back in. The second one, I managed to get in without issue. The third one, I crashed as soon as the game started. Got back in at 5 minutes, and somehow managed to keep up with my lane opponent. Support also had issues. We lost that one. The most recent one, and the one that pissed me off and made me come see if anyone else was reporting this issue, I crashed a record 15 times trying to get into the game. Started, loaded between 4 and 50% within a second, froze, error report. It isn't even a bugsplat I'm seeing. It's an Error Report message. This is bullshit. I've lost LP for 3 games now and am likely a game away for getting banned for AFK behaviors because of this bug.

Honestly, all you can do is play. You are going to feed. It's going to happen. Oh well. You're learning. If you're afraid of dying, play these champions in the support role. Nami - can win trades by moving up, pressing W, and nullifying most damage because she just healed it back up from the bounce. Can also bounce W off an ally. Sona - wins trades by pressing Q and running away, then coming back and pressing Q again. Janna - stand behind the ADC, shield them, if anyone gets close, drop a Q in their general direction and watch the tornado disengage. Lulu - her W and E both have an offensive and defensive component. Learn which to use, when to use, and how to use each one. Blitzcrank - Not an enchanter. A tanky boi with a hook that pulls the enemy to you. Then you punch them in the face and spam the laugh emote when your ADC burns them down. Rule of thumb: grab the squishier target. If both targets are squishy, grab the least mobile one. This means if your lane opponent combo is a Lucian and a Brand, grab the Brand. He will have to burn flash or die. Champions to avoid until you get over yourself and grow some confidence in your ability to play Leona - her entire playstyle is "I'm here until one of us dies." She lands E with her W charging (which pulls her to whoever she tagged), smacks an enemy with Q, and that holds them there until your ADC burns half their HP. If you have to retreat on her, you're going to take a metric fuckton of damage on the way out. Nautilus - Kind of like Leona, except his Q meets halfway, and if you accidentally hook a minion, you're not going to have a good time. You're going to have a worse time if you hit the wall. So don't hit the minion, and don't hit the wall unless you mean to. Thresh - His Q is a really nice hook, but the second activation is the "engage" on his kit. You need to land the hook, pull yourself into the fight, and then fling the enemy back at your teammate, while making sure there's a lantern over there so your buddy can get in on that action. Not for someone who is afraid to go in. Rakan - Long range CC dash that's easy to miss, plus squishy. Not a good combo. Do not play. Junglers are a bit different. You can't get around having to go in on them. If you want to jungle, you need to be ready to do what needs to be done. They are meant to get up close and personal and make a person die. Even the most squishy junglers are designed in this way (see fiddlesticks). Don't play jungle until you feel like you can at least play Nautilus and get good engages off, and then take Nautilus into the jungle. Oh. Last thing. Learn to ward, and learn which ward points are the most intelligent. Warding the lane bush might be smart against a blitzcrank, but then you're leaving yourself open to ganks. You need vision in the river. As the support, it's also your job to keep an eye on the map and ping danger.

Anti-Sion measures, basically. Turrets have massive defenses when minions aren't there to keep people from being a one man army and taking them all. If you need a reason why, just take a look at URF Rumble. The only turrets he can't take without minion assistance are the nexus turrets, because he can't outshield the damage. It becomes pretty much impossible to stop him from winning the game without consistently jumping on him as soon as he walks into vision. If Demolish were allowed to have that kind of power, everyone would take it, and we would have more than just inting sion. We would have a 5 tank meta where everyone just builds as much HP as possible and tries to melt turrets with suicide strats.
