{{item:1402}} - ", but it should be an item focused more on AP than Mana/CDR" You mean, its completely useless at its current cost & AP/Mana/CDR. For 1250g I can get a rod that's better.

I heartily agree man, I am surprised there isn't more forum activity about the insane prices of Runeblade. AP junglers are really in trouble right now!

: "The jungle should be a little easier this season, especially for struggling champs before"
This seems like the rant-about-the-jungle thread, so I'll post here. In a nutshell, mana-intensive AP junglers have pretty much nothing to look forward to 2675 gold later. Oh wait, 40 AP and 10% CDR. The neeldlessly large rod gives +60 AP (1250 gold) and a there is no cdr item, closest might be a fiendish codex for 800 which gives 25 AP + 10% CDR. So for a grand total of 2050 you get 85 AP & 10% CDR. Or you can get the craptastic jungle item for 2675 which allows you to farm this exclusive resource that is worth less than minions anyway, but it will miraculously help you only in the jungle. Is there even a point to runeglaive? Are all junglers supposed to be AD now?

I agree totally Cpt Lemmiwinks. Starcraft is an excellent implementation. edit: I think even Baron Replays uses replay files, they are larger than I like, but thankfully not full video files. If it came to that, I'd just use my fraps. Maybe I wasn't clear in my original post but I was never referring to video recording.

: "Counter Play" and "healthy champions" never existed...
Well, shaco going invisible and running away is an excellent example of boring counterplay / no counterplay as well. But obviously whether its darius or its shaco, you don't see them rocking anything better than a 50% winrate and I think there is a reason for that. The kind of counterplay involved here is called teamfighting. Individually there is only so much they can do but in the "grand scheme" they can't necessarily put down the preassure or sustainability needed to combat the opposing team's strategy, assuming they have one. Try picking Teemo into Darius and see what happens.
: Building Frozen Heart AND Iceborn Gauntlet on Ryze?
I think even if your opponents don't build MR, most champions (Maokai was an exception among others) typically receive a little bit per level just for leveling up, and all receive a little for their base stats. The void staff ignoring 35% of this is surprisingly effective, plus a solid 70 AP. The Iceborn gauntlet gives 30 AP, so 40 less, but has 500 mana. According to the wiki, his overload does 6.5% of his maximum mana, so 6.5% of 500 is 32.5. But according to the same wiki, it has a 40% AP scale, which means that extra 40 AP will only give you 16 extra damage. If the team is all AD, *and* you have no tanks to shred, the iceborn gauntlet seems better. But I'm going to say void staff because of the ordering you mentioned. If it is a last item, it assumes late game and this means you'll have a lot of AP already to "punch through" the base MR of champions. It will do at least as well. If someone builds an MR item, anyone at all, then even better. There does come a time though when you want to decide that your crappy team has no tank and you just need a better engage and its a sorry state of things when its got to be Ryze, but then yeah - go grab your gauntlet.

: Queue dodgers rights!
If he has the wisdom to discern that his team can't pick champions worth crap and the enemy can, then he honestly doesn't belong with them. It's a great reason to encourage that kind of dodging too in the spirit of letting ELO run its course. Now if people dodged just because they got counterpicked in lane and want a cooler laning experience, then I guess its annoying. But they still are going to eat LP for that and it is bad to do if you have a winning comp even though you specifically got a hard lane. But if someone dodges for that reason every time, they'll be dodging more and dropping LP more. Wouldn't that also be in the spirit of letting ELO run its course? I think the time penalty does more harm than good, on all, but yes I accept the system does not know the person's reason every time.

Her ult can be used offensively or defensively. I've had Fiora's escape some very my ultimates by removing themselves from the map via her ult just before I casted mine. My Rammus is still mad. There doesn't seem to be much space for them both to be doing "ok".

: Veigar support
My duo partner often supports Veigar when he gets it. Very lethal champion. He is less useful against champions that can dash out of his stun (looking at you Graves, Lucian, etc..). At least Veigar can cry on Jarvan's shoulder, who more or less has the same problem with his ult. Then of course you need people with the nuts to attack when they know you're going to stun. There is no cure for cowardice. Otherwise Veigar is very OP.

: A message to all junglers.
Good junglers, in my opinion, see gold opportunities for themselves. The fact you are on the kill or that they share it with you is just a technicality or an unfortunate necessity. "Helping" you, or causing someone to feel "helped", is... well... that's just something that happens in the process. They go where the money is at. If you are that laner that keeps yielding them successful ganks, they'll keep going up there to feed. How to be "that" lane? Baiting an enemy to push up too far, but your health is obviously high and not wittled down to the bottom like you are getting your butt kicked, is a good jungle invitation. They want to make sure they can rely on your slows/snares and damage to secure the kill, and a part of them is thinking you aren't going to assist the gank if your health is low or you are playing in a way that demonstrates that you are mentally terrorized by your opponent. Some may try once just to see what you'll do, and that will determine whether or not they are ever coming back. Some of it is bad luck. If you got Gnar, Reksai, or Nidalee in lane as an opponent (these are very 'safe' champions), even if they are pushed up they can be extremely difficult to chase down and kill before reaching their own turret. The jungler may think you are a good bet, but won't visit your lane because they know your opponent is too safe to produce results.

: Should there be more AP fighters?
If you build the current cast of AP tank-champions with damage builds you could arguably get some extra "AP" fighters on your roster there. As to whether or not they would actually be good is another story. Don't like your image concept because it reminds me too much of a Japanime Leona (minus a shield). Celestialism is moving in close to Kayle's turf. It could be done though.
: So I played that new Ahri on PBE...
What is "wrong" with Ahri anyway? They take away DFG and now they need to "fix" her? I think its Rito sneaky talk and card shuffling. They probably just want to nerf her but "oh we got to rework after DFG" to make ppl nod. Granted, I haven't played the new one. But I'm still on that part trying to get past why we need to change the old one. Smoke and mirrors.....

: Bans should NOT exist in Solo Que
In theory, not being able to ban the OP champs means you could play them, and the other team has the same opportunity to play them. I don't think it would unbalance things. There just doesn't seem a compelling reason to change it? SoloQ probably doesn't have a strategy, but if the stars align you never know maybe the best random team ever could form one in a hurry (but don't hold your breath on that happening!). The game isn't really made ***better*** by such a change.

: Aatrox is one of my favorite champs but yeah if he builds a mix of tank and dmg he doesnt deal enough dmg nor is he tanky enough. He does need buffs to his scaling and numbers. Most of the meta top laners simply eat him even with his passive as their dmg is much higher than his. Buffing his scalings or numbers would be nice.

Yeah, this assessment as well as other posters have said, there is no real build synergy possible. Whether a person goes defensive or offensive or a hybrid of the two, he simply won't do any of these nearly as well as someone else who does the exact same thing, and they'll have at least as much utility to boot. Some of the other posters said "because Riot" this or "because Riot" that. I don't really know what Riot thinks, I've seen no links to red posts here, so I can't say. I'm curious what they think, or if they are thinking anything about him at all. Granted, an Aatrox buff gone wrong can very quickly make him overpowered because his kit is actually very good and if he had some serious power and build synergy behind it then he could very quickly go into permanent ban status. I'm sure Riot and/or the community can think up plenty of decent ideas though.
: Try to make trades with the enemy, Don't ever let them get free damage on you since it will allow them an easy all in and potential kill shortly.

Never trade unevenly if you can help it (unless of course you are the one who is dealing out more). Back to Original Poster: Multitasking is kind of an acquired skill that comes with practice, but basically you got to put the minion health bars and what the enemy champions are doing into a kind of dual concentration mode. Finally standing behind your own minions can help. There are exceptions where it will not, and those are quite plentiful. Some abilities cannot shoot "through" the minion, and therefore it acts as a shield, with it taking the damage instead of you. Supports like Lux, Morgana, Blitzcrank, and Thresh can have their skillshots blown on minions. Supports like Lulu can skill shot "through" the minions. Others are targeted and minion agnostic (Annie, Zilean, Fiddle, etc.). So don't sell off dodging skills just yet, but many times the minions can help.

http://na.leagueoflegends.com/tribunal/en/review/ afaik its been in 'recess' forever (nearly a year or more?), but I do see Lyte's posts from time to time. The original idea was probably to work on something and in the meantime fill in with some Riot-led moderation. Acording to PCGamer, which may or may not be accurate afaik, LoL netted a bil - http://www.pcgamer.com/league-of-legends-has-made-almost-1-billion-in-microtransactions/ So I dunno.... they have the resources to expedite this area. I suspect its not really that high priority for the company. I'm not saying they don't care, its just not a high priority.
: Rek'sai nerfs where?
Even when your jungler comes to help gank a completely pushed up reksai, combined with slows and snares both from the laner and the jungler, the bitch gets away, and this is on the UNFED edition of reksai. I don't even mind if the champion is strong, but there are literally no risks for doing anything. A person can have wreckless decision making on rek'sai and still be fine. Is this what they meant by Strategic Diversity in the pre-season dev blog?
: Is anything at all going to be done about Aatrox?
Aatrox conceptually has a nice kit -- conceptually -- is the keyword. He just needs more raw numbers behind what he does. I feel like he is swinging a turnip and not a sword. He is pretty cool in that his Q is a short knockup that can be done more or less on demand, and serve as a gap closer or an escape - so cheers for being in the mobility club. His E is a poke, which is absolutely awesome (again, conceptually -- it still hits like a wet noodle) on a melee champion. His W alternation is kind of a cool idea and stands to make him a good melee, until he runs into the likes of Riven, Jax, Irelia, or.....anyone. I bet Garen would school him. It either doesn't heal enough or hurt enough, but is conceptually not that bad of an idea. For a demon lord of war, he is somewhat of a biscuit. He is kind of like crushing a squishy mage. He could use a little firming up or healthing up. Heh, just my 2 cents. I'd like to see a dev blog about him why he is fine the way he is or what he needs.
: Fizz and Lee Sin have no reprecussion for being bad
The trick to Lee Sin is don't get hit by his skillshot and engage after he wastes it, then you'll at least have a chance. If it tags you, get back near somewhere he doesn't want to follow (a turret, a ton of teammates standing next to you, wherever) and pray your health isn't low because he can still dive you. Fizz is more about backing away when he does his poll dance. Maybe it comes down to skill, but a friend of mine destroyed a Fizz on Tryndamere by letting him bully lane forward and then all-ining with cheap ult mechanic. A good Fizz could probably prevent it by freezing the lane. Then you're looking at the CS game from there on out. I've seen both champs banned in pro, so they certaintly have potential. They aren't the only ones though.

No, they cannot stop it. You think Riot has the power, but they do not. They can ban a few specific botters. Then what? There will be just more accounts from more random IP addresses. The game of whack-a-mole is never ending. They'll never stop it as long as people keep buying. It's like when Nancy Reagan declared war on drugs. How's that going btw? You think the community doesn't have the power, but we do. Whether it is the liberation of India, the curtailing of smoking from the 90's, or Poland's Solidarity from the 80's, or Civil Rights from the 60's, groups of people have been able to socially discipline other members of society for not acting acceptably. : Replace ARAM with poro mode
: Akali needs to be tuned or reworked, she makes me want to quit LOL
No, actually a pink does do. Save it for when your jungler comes to help your lane so its a good 2v1 to ensure that you do not waste the pink. You could do it without a jungler, but you'll want to protect your investment by making it a sure kill. So he doesn't have to camp your lane all game, team up with him or her to push the lane and take the mid turret. Akali will then roam and no doubt feed off all your bad teammates... mm nevermind. Ignore that part. I mean ... continue to preassure other lanes and try to zone her from killing your teammates.
: No wonder why I never see AD fighters top lane anymore
Well a lot of your tanks have moved to the jungle (hello Amumu, Jarvan, Nautilus, Rammus, et. al) and the meta seems to open up more interesting top lanes, as like your mid lanes. We see top marksman, mages, and all sorts of wacky stuff. This is just my opinion of course. Even at the pro level you'll see a top Lulu (TSM vs. SSW) or something unique. I still like AD champs on a team simply because they can wreck turrets fast and I'm all about getting it done at the Nexus, but beyond that their AP counterparts especially as team fighters are just as good if not more scary. I really don't like Aatrox, but because he has a poke, he can do the top thing and he's AD and you can transistion him into a siege comp. I haven't seen a Trundle up there in quite awhile.
: Draven needs a nerf!
How many escapes does Draven have?
: As someon who plays mostly immobile champions
Champions like Malzahar for example can be extremely explosive with their damage, some of the best burst around. However I don't play them anymore. Reason? Not enough mobility :P Hello Ahri. Hello Yasuo. Hello J4 and Corki. Maybe its time you let ole' Cho go and relax. He'll have his day again, some day.
: Eve is going to become a split pushing monster
I have only played the old Eve, so I'll have to lean to what others have to say about the new Eve. How do you think she measures up as a split pusher like Master Yi or Jax?
: As someon who plays mostly immobile champions
Newer champions like Reksai and Gnar are extremely safe in toplane with their mobility and pokes, although Nidalee spear + run away cougar mode despite all of her many changes has still made her quite a risk adverse champion. Although in a big massive team brawl, I'd rather have Mordekaiser than any of those three (mainly he does a lot of aoe damage and it goes all over the place). Add Amumu aoe to the roster, and it is going to be a wrecking day, provided your team will back them up. Of course a siege comp can spread out and pick them to pieces, so I suppose nothing is without counters. There are some mechanics in league that are very powerful and stand above the others. Mobility cannot be mathematically "weighed" in the same way that "damage" can be calculated, because a lot of it depends on where you are going *to* and *why*. But in the hands of good player, the value of mobility is worth more than a player who uses mobility to just go anywhere for any reason. It is hard to say that someone snowballed because of their mobility or if the other side just fed. Even with the ambiguity though, it is a mecahnic I find cause for concern in champion power creep. A more obvious mechanic is true damage (hello Ahri/Irelia). But I think the TD champions are scrutinized a bit more carefully in that the presence of counters still exist. Even still, they are quite in vogue.
