: Let's Chat about Honor
Liking the new system so far, it's really helped me think through my games in a much more positive light. Where once I would have thought of the feeders, etc. Now I'm wracking my brain to see who had the best attitude/impact. I feel like the fact that this early in, the system already having an impact on me is just about as telling as can be on how effective it is. Great design. As far as my questions go, this thread basically answered all of them. Hope everyone has a goodly day!

When I think of a tree-man protecting the squirrels, I would think of something slow and deliberate (think Treebeard the Ent), serious, calm, and not like he jumped out of Lulu's imagination XD (super excited to try him, though, don't get me wrong) From the narrative side, a bit of it was wanting to avoid the typical druid/treant/ent slowness. We wanted our weirdo tree man to have energy and his own sense of oddness. We figured, after a few dozen lifetimes getting to know nature, he'd sort of see sides of their personalities that we don't see. Besides, Ivern is full of life and life energy. While nature is patient, life never ever stops or slows down. Then we saw his walk animations and knew we made the right call. Also, slow line delivery while attacking or spell casting would get sort of excruciating after a while.

So a Tom Bombadil kind of feel?

: I despise vector casting and the idea of these changes. I feel like the spell lockout allowed for a lot of good interactions in the kit. The power of E as a clutch counter to mobility spells will be much lower with the damage nerfed, making the high points of her outplay gameplay feel dull, and I can just imagine having to fish for W>E much more often from now on to match my previous damage output, leaving myself very vulnerable between the two cast times. I at least wish we could have gone with the current casting paradigm with the lockout removed after the second hit, it would have felt much better, even if a several other things I loved about her kit are still dying in the process. Although I was initially disappointed I really learned to like being unable to immediately cast E after W, because I didn't feel pressured into one line of action should I land a hit with my W.

I agree, I liked the feel of her kit, and I was happy that initially, you stuck by your guns to not make the w a vector cast. I thought your explanations in your previous post about how why you decided to not make w a vector cast made sense, and that it did fit Taliyah's style very well. I'm not so sure about what her kit will feel like after this, but I cant honestly say I'm looking forward to it.

: @Riot, there is a huge overlooked flaw in Jhin's gameplay design
I think that's the point though.... Jhin lives to see OTHER's "beautiful" deaths, but in reality he is a twisted killer. I think it only makes sense that he would have somewhat of an ugly death (perhaps its fate, or perhaps it's irony, etc).
: Jhin a Voice doesn't match his model....
I totally understand what you mean. He doesn't really give off a sinister vibe; I honestly think that if his movements were perhaps a bit more precise rather than flamboyant, as you said, he might look like more of a practiced killer. Despite that, I do think that Riot did well to sell the idea of him being an artsy killer.
: Jhin: The artist to Singed's scientist?
: Hextech Crafting soon debuts on PBE
I remember that one post before preseason mentioned "renting" skins, so I assume that sort of thing will be part of this whole "crafting" system? I'm really curious, it sounds fun.
: Champion Reveal: Jhin, the Virtuoso
Where's the lore rito? ;( ;__;) lol I really do want to know more though, he looks like an interesting character.

: None of those are black still.
People obviously don't see what you are saying ;__;. I agree that there's really no black woman champion (idk about illaoi tbh) , but I'm certain there will be at some point.... Finger's crossed, I suppose.

: Still want a legendary Lucian skin where he is replaced by Senna.
That's a pretty interesting concept. Would it be like an AU sort of thing, where Lucian got "lanterned" and Senna survived Thresh's attack?

: [Champion Concept] Easton, Keeper of the power
Some of the concepts for this guy's abilities are really interesting. My personal favorite was runic vault, which I think would have potential for so many plays. Obviously, if riot were to do this, I'm sure they'd tweak some of the effects/scaling, but it seems fairly balanced (to my limited understanding of what "balance" is anyway). I like how his passive, and ultimate are enhancers, and how each set of abilities has its own unique application. In terms of role, I could easily see this guy as a mid/support. Great job! I also thought the lore was pretty cool, too. :D

: Poppy comic: A hero's calling
I always wonder who is behind these works of art... Who drew this comic? (And for that matter, who drew the Poppy splash, it's fantastic!) :D

: If the "Rift Herald" or whatever is still alive when baron spawns, please make Baron eat the Herald as part of its initial spawn animation. Please? :D
I think it would be a cool mechanic if every time Baron "ate" something, he got stronger (in terms of a buff), which could incentivize action in the top river and around baron. It would create a Baron-Herald synergy.
