: Actually I think when you hit 30, it's no longer the case. You can be matched with challengers as a bronze.

i understand that the tiers cant be applied to the game..but if riot will keep you from playing ranked until your level 30 and public games until you're level 5 then surely they can set up queue brackets to keep the game closer to being fair to the new players joining the league community. I know riot may not change or care about the low levels..and this may be me just venting my frustration on seeing a gold 3 player in queue with a level 6 player. There is no balance when players can be queued up like that on any level. Experience cant be balanced..but players by level can.

: Does it matter? If it's that big of a problem, what are you going to do when you get to 30? Games are much worse. Teemo every game doing 500k damage in 30 minutes. 5 man squads running super effective set ups. Etc. Enjoy the odd mismatch games while you can

when a player reaches 30, that is when everyone will be closer to be balanced as far as runes and masteries are concerned. I know that experience isn't a factor at this point, but at least for new players there can be some kind of balanced game play instead of riot mm a gold 3 and silver 2 in a match when the enemy team doesnt even have a single lvl 30. Tell me, how that is a balanced MM?
