: Tbh i don't think adc is weak itself there's just too much potential for one mid/jg duo to snowball out of control before the adc is even relevant, especially when its a champ like irelia mid or kass/lb, camille, something of that nature. Seriously though coming out of lane to come face to face with a 10/0 irelia/leblanc as an adc is really unfun though, it shouldn't happen so often. I mean in the games where im doing well and no one on the enemy team is mega fed then honestly it doesnt feel so bad.
If it takes the ad longer to snowball, and games usually end my mid game, then yes adcs are weak. Even a snowballed adc is essentially useless to a fed irelia, yas, kass bar maybe vayne or kaisa.

Technically, saying someone is "good" or "better" is usually relative to your team. So when they're saying their team sucks, it's relative to the enemy team making both statements that the enemy is good and the ally team is bad essentially equal.

Granted, if I assume that my four teammates do their best to win, straying from the single most efficient champion, build etc. can be considered morally unacceptable, because I don't put every chance on my side. If they each have decided on a strategy, that theoretically leaves me exactly one option, because all others will be sub-efficient if you look at statistical data. And even if they let me decide what kind of character I want to play in my assigned top lane, if I pick anything beside what works best (in Silver divisions currently: Garen, or Yorick if I know him well, judging from op.gg; otherwise the enemy's hardest counter), then you can consider it griefing, because I'm shooting myself in the foot before the match even started. What isn't fine is intentionally not trying or playing bad. I had a blitzcrank who told me that it was fine he was missing hooks because he was smoking weed. in ranked. But people should also understand that by playing something completely off-meta in ranked they are opening themselves to being complained about. It's different in lower elos (plat under) because players _aren't_ good. In higher elos, off meta builds are generally more accepted because people know how to play the game at that point and are actually running the numbers of their build.

: Can someone explain me why is toxic behavior a necessity?
Many players in korea note the rampant toxicity in higher elos. The difference between that form of toxicity and the toxicity we see in NA/EU is that people in korea know what they're doing, and therefore are frustrated when they see someone at their level who makes a big mistake. Another thing to note that, especially in higher elos in ranked, people really shouldn't be trying to 'have fun', since most people at that level dedicate their lives to the game. I think it was LS who was talking about how it's really weird that NA challengers seem to take ranked as a joke, when in comparison to KR challengers who are very critical of each others play. That's also why, according to LS, that KR breeds much better esports players than NA/EU since they take soloQ very seriously unlike here in NA/EU.

I've always said this, if you want me to treat your sexuality like it's normal then you have to act like it's normal. That's why I don't understand why there's gay parades, flags, etc. It's like, I thought you wanted it to be treated as normal as heterosexual? It's way too forced onto everyone else because it gets such a huge free pass. What about me? I'm Muslim but I keep my mouth shut about my beliefs on this board nor do I say "durrrrr, we need a Muslim champion!!". Do not confuse religious beliefs with traits of humanity. Being gay is a trait of humans, people are gay, straight, black, white, brown, etc - things they do not choose to be, and are instead born with. Being religious is a choice, and furthermore, religions of the real world _are not represented in League at all._ There are no real religions in League because they do not make sense in the fantasy setting that Riot has created. Comparing traits to belief choices is a pretty big fallacy, and they're not comparable in all settings. If this was like some urban crawler game or a comic book set on Earth, sure, ask for Muslim representation (which is present in characters like Kamala Khan and Sooraya Qadir in Marvel Comics). But this is a high fantasy game set on a world similar to ours, but utterly different, with none of the gods and beliefs we have in our world. Therefore, asking for Muslim representation (or Christian, or Buddhist, etc) doesn't make any sense at all. As for gay pride, those are celebrations that gay people can rally at and enjoy the company of people like them, and celebrate their accomplishments over the years in pushing back and fighting for equality. Sure, some go overboard, but that's human nature. The US and other nations where they're held are typically free speaking nations, where gay people have the freedoms to be out and proud and celebrate how they want. But as long as there are people in this world in power who would use religious beliefs to put down and discriminate gay people, they need these celebrations to remind people that they are here and they are proud and they have and will continue to fight, and until they get the recognition and equality gay people need across the board, there will ALWAYS be a need to remind people about their culture and their plight. You may not like it, but that's a bit of the point isn't it? Gay people are just like you, absolutely no different from you, yet their mere presence disturbs conservatives and those with strict beliefs, much like Muslims disturb the ignorant conservatives. So yeah, until people accept gay people as a part of life and stop hating them based on some nonsense passages in ancient texts from 2000 year old books, they need recognition and they will celebrate their accomplishments. So as long as people keep saying "eww gays" instead of smiling and appreciating the festivities, that's why gay prides are important. And it's not "forcing it on people." It's a fucking parade that happens once or twice a year, no different than a Macy's Parade or some other festival parade. You can participate or not, you're not being forced to do anything.
couldn't have said it better. Pride parades etc. raise awareness to their sexuality, and expose people to it, since many are indoctrinated with deep roots of hatred. Yes, if they want to be treated normally they should act normally, but a large part of society view them with hatred no matter what they're doing. Basically, LGBT people will act 'normally' once people treat them normally. Same thing with minorities.

That's a form of strategy in the game, whether Riot intended on doing so or not. Bad screen placement can ruin fights, so it's an extra 'skill level'. You also need to look at the map more often against junglers, and ward deeper than the bush next to lane in river.
: "just wait until after ardent censor, rito will fix it" *preseason rolls around and after 6 months ardent is fixed* "just wait until after preseason" *3 months after preseason and conqueror is only announced on PBE* "just wait for patch 8.10" *waits 5 weeks for patch 8.10 to nerf oppresive junglers* "just wait 1 week" Riot literally ONLY listened to only these types of comments telling players to wait and see what happens for the past 2 seasons Riot clearly can't fix the problem cause they only nerfed the BAD JUNGLERS
They mean wait when the meta actually clears up.
: but what they did to the jungler now is they really hurt them if they do not constantly invade and get fed. and the "too ahead too early" thing makes ZERO sense. out of all my jg games, every game whenever i am lvl 3 top/mid is lvl 3-4 so where tf is riot getting that jungle's level is too high compared to solo laners. it usually never is. hell, in pro play, by 15 minutes, the jungler is lvl 9 while the enemy top/mid is 11-12. seriously? if people keep bitching about lvl 3 ganks, actually play smarter and CS faster. there's a thing called wards....you even said the estimated time the lvl 3 gank happens. if they start red, they would go wolves blue, so if you're mid ward the top side of the river if your top go around the corner, and ward the enterance to the tri-bush boom you have map awareness. but because of this damn patch, if you dont constnatly invade your enemy jungler, and dont constantly take their farm, you WILL be absolutely useless late game. and invading is a high risk thing, but it comes out with such a low reward. a few cs/exp denied. you might as well just sit in a lane and soak up exp. hell, a full wave of minions is worth more gold AND EXP than 1/2 your camps....so like riot, what is your mindset that made you think of this retarded idea? (then again, they think nerfing jannas w and passive MS is a nerf to her and totally not her R E and Q and that'd so make her less effective lol riot balancing team) you could have simply nerfed the EXP for the first spawn and nothing else and boom lvl 3 annoyancy solved. but now, you have to fucking go leeroy jenkins, steal their camps, hope they arent there, and if they are and they kill you, its game over there's no way you can come back. and 40-50 minute games usually happen because there is absolutely no communication, objective control, etc so they are litterally just standing there and stalling and just killing ofc there's gonna be 40-50 minute games if nobody focuses on objectives
The one thing I do have a problem is that by 20 min, the jungler is usually as leveled as the solo laners if they stay within the jungle because of aggressive invading + scuttle (which is a huge xp source). It means that passive junglers are going to be even more punished for not ganking, taking scuttle, or taxing.
: That’s funny, because their stated goal and intention do these changes were to cut down on the impact of early game junglers. Apparently they didn’t do enough testing to realize this just lets the snowball roll even faster.
Yeah it's a big mistake by riot, but imo I enjoy faster games since it's more efficient (multiple games in the span of one means you get to play more etc.) but I think it really depends on the player. That's why i've been suggesting that Riot do a sort of census on players about the state of game, rather than guessing based on stats

You essentially say that being straight and of caucasian descent is 'normal' and that Riot is going 'sjw' for wanting to have minorities represented in their video games. "Why are you guys going full nazi for representing white guys?" is essentially the same but opposite response that you've given.

: So you think Evelyn is something i should try? Her kit kinda looks nice.
Yes, but she's probably a bad jungler rn because of jungle changes (you can't contest scuttle early vs most ad early junglers) so be wary
: Riot is going SJW, so I made a post about Diversity and my thoughts upon it
Isn't it weird how if someone shows the most little inkling of caring for minorities and underrepresented people they're labeled an SJW because 14 year olds on reddit are trying to be edgy?
: Competent enemy junglers can see which side you start on and will do the same to you by splitting the jungle across midlane rather than the standard across river so your other side wont be up as much as you're used to. Always check to see which lane leashed for the jungle
exactly, but what he and I mean is that even if they do the same, we're still equal so nothing is lost. It's a win - tie situation which I'll take 100% of the time.

Before you could farm your jungle for half an hour and come out strong, but now you need to incorporate scuttle, keep track of enemy jungler, and fight the enemy jungler. Yes it pushes out many tank and farm junglers, but those junglers really have no early game impact which Riot is really pushing (for adcs too in 8.11). It also changes pathing, and encourages invading, and much more skill expressive since the better jungler counter jungles better and has better scuttle control So what you're saying is it totally removes a large pile of champs from the game and you don't care because riot isn't pushing that? I guess easy to say when they're not YOUR champs.
It was just my opinion. I'm fine with it because I like to adapt to the meta rather than play a specific pool. If tank jungling comes back, I'll play my rek'sai any day. If ap junglers are suddenly good, I'll play eve. If farm jungling is back, I'll go play bot lane and get 4v2'ed. But I like it because I enjoy interactivity, and I like skirmishing.
: i hate it for that exact reason imo. i play champs like evelynn, vi, shyvana, diana, irelia (yes, i do irelia jg, and im actually very good with it..well...WAS until THIS crap came along), for example in the jungle. i usually always get the scuttle, and i prefer to farm and gank when neccessary, not 24/7 camping every 5 seconds. But i hate early jg 1v1s and i especially hate invading/being invaded because it never turns out well for me at all. and i hate the fact that now, it forces you to basically kill yourself and forces you to pick champs who have early game advantages like kha udyr, or whatever i dunno. But the one thing ive realized is now jungle is a feast or famine. if you arent ahead and have like a kajillion kills by 15 minutes or so, you are so completly useless and behind 2-4 levels at all times. So this patch is pissing the living hell out of me and really is making me want to uninstall. To my eyes, the jg meta is now a high risk low reward. constantly invade, and take their camps and risk being killed constantly. with this being said you have to constantly invade deny the jungler get ahead all without being killed if you wanna stay ahead and be "decent" in the game, and if you dont, you are useless and you should just exit the game when it happens. because you would be of no help now To me, they are trying to force us to play professional league of legends. what they are aiming for is litterally what they do in professional league. seriously? rito plz
I get where you're coming from since you have a different champ pool and playstyle from me. I think Riot is trying to push away from the 40-50 min games everyone's been complaining about since forever, but I think that it's also unfair to completely out tank junglers. Honestly Jungle has always been a problem plaguing league, so I'd rather see some sort of duo top like dota, where jungle camps are more like mini objectives. I guess it's because I think it's exceptionally boring to do nothing but farm or level 3 gank at 2:30 so I really welcomed these changes and started playing jungle again since s7 jg changes.

The idea of an assassin is to close out games early with your lead. If they don't do that, they deserve the loss. Playing vs. an assassin basically means you waveclear for half an hour and once they're useless you win the game as 4v5. The reason why adcs and Yasuo are circlejerked (and for good reason) are because they have very good early impact (on the case of yasuo, he can basically just play pussy rn until someone missteps) and scale very good late (except for a few adcs, but ezreal has that problem covered with double tear). Zed/assassins are good vs teams who don't know the matchup, or are counterpicked (if zed was last pick).
: I think the reason it's still two people bot, is because dragon spawns before 10 minutes. Meta is usually about shoving out the lane and getting tower down, and then rotate to toplane and top to bottom. The ideal play is to have toplane tp to botlane for a clean gank after shoving their lane, and then take bot tower + drake. After that, adc and support recall and go top, while top goes botlane.
If bot is mid, they can still assist on dragon/contest dragon (and herald too) better, the support roams faster to side lanes, and they're going to be much safer mid because of how short the lane is

: When I play nocturne I tend to get my top buff, go gromp/raptors, then go to their jungle, raptors red/blue gromp, then get scuttle on my way back before finishing my clear. I've found by the time I get to my bot side it's not only still all up, but they're now the other side of the map and are finding out they have no jungle left :P I know I won't be able to contest the bot side scuttle, but by counter jungling in this way I not only get to secure the other scuttle, but also have a chance to steal away their camps. If they've done what you do then we're on an even playing field. If not, then I'm ahead.
I think that in this jg meta it's a lot more effective to clear vertically, like players in the LCS do (your jg into theirs) and it's going to catch on eventually once people finally learn about the path. I go scuttle first cause it gets me level 3, so when I contest their red, they're either level 2 (coming straight for it) or late (path to scuttle up to red) giving me a chance to take it and cheese them in their own jg
