: Decay won't demote you I'm pretty sure. I also believe the Shield isn't on a time limit, it's on a loss limit, so you can lose the next few games being fine. But if you win one then lose three in a row it's gone.

That's a **huge** red flag to me. Why is a niche champion being played so much? Is it because the teams that allow him to thrive are super popular right now? **Absolutely not. The meta is actually very against comps that Yasuo would thrive in.** So the alternative is that players are **picking Yasuo in the wrong situations**. Why is Riot buffing a champion who is losing games that **he should lose**? What do you want your mid laner to bring to a game of league? Typically a threatening amount of magic damage, ranged waveclear to stall from behind, and some utility. If you look at historically good mid laners they all have all of these: {{champion:103}} {{champion:34}} {{champion:268}} {{champion:69}} {{champion:42}} {{champion:245}} {{champion:99}} etc... all demonstrate all of these properties. Yasuo **demonstrates none of them.** What do you want your top laner to bring to a game of league? Typically engage, peel, tankiness. In the recent meta even more than ever, you want a lot of peel and tankiness to let your ADC thrive. **Yasuo does none of this.** Then, Yasuo has a kit that's more dependent on allies than most champions. His ultimate is only usable on champions that are airborne, and he only has a somewhat unreliable way of doing it himself and often only on one target. Allies like {{champion:154}} {{champion:59}} {{champion:12}} {{champion:54}} {{champion:201}} {{champion:267}} {{champion:516}} etc... are great for Yasuo because they can knockup multiple enemies fairly reliably. Most champions don't bring AOE knockups for Yasuo to thrive with. You throw all of this together, and I'd expect that if Yasuo is being consistently picked with disregard to his team comp (which as we've all seen in solo queue, that last pick mid goes Yasuo in to allied {{champion:23}} {{champion:77}} {{champion:222}}). In games like that, he should lose. Yet I've had plenty of games like that where I'm on a true tank and stacking 300 armor and still struggling to win what should be free because Yasuo just puts out soo much damage through armor. So what I want to know: is Yasuo mid seeing a sub-50% win rate in all team comps, or is his win rate varying a lot across different teams? What is Yasuo's average win rate with any of these champions on his team: {{champion:12}} {{champion:54}} {{champion:154}} {{champion:31}} {{champion:59}} {{champion:143}} ? What about with these champions? {{champion:254}} {{champion:40}}, Support {{champion:63}} (i.e. his support can bring the magic damage). Or better yet, use the data to identify which champions Yasuo does well with, and see if he's consistently winning over 50% with a subset of specific champions. Tell me those are under 50% and I can be on board with Yasuo buffs. If they're like 54% then I think it's clear that Yasuo mains are just picking him knowing it's not a good time to do so, and they shouldn't get compensated for that. They're volunteering to have a sub-50% win rate if they're going to pick like that.

I am 100% sure that Malphite, Jarvan, Ornn, and Mao are all super meta. Fun fact too, I lose more games with these champions on my team because Yasuo is so weak at the moment that I normally end up losing lane, and we can't even get to the team fighting stage of the game. I understand everyone's hate for this champion, but trying to justify your argument saying that Yasuo doesn't fit into the meta is completely wrong since I've never seen more top lane knock up champs meta than in this current preseason.

Now, before any of you get mad at me and say that the reason I feel this way is because I am bronze, then I'll just stop you right there and tell you to look up my account. I am clearly not a low elo player, and if you want better proof then search CombatYasuo as that account is even higher than this account. Anyways, Riot will always have to take into consideration low elo players. Why? Well, they make up the majority of the league community. If they don't enjoy playing then League of Legends will die out. Also, the reason games are such stomps in higher elo is because people know how to snowball. If they snowball it's not the games fault it's someone's fault for giving them a lead. I swear on my life if people were better, and stopped feeding, and everyone came out of lane even, then games would last longer as there would be more stalemates in team fights because no one wants to engage. I've had those 35 - 45 minute games, and it's only ever a result of a complete balance between teams. Yes, Riot has shifted towards a faster paced game, but most of that shift isn't Riot's fault it's the players fault. Well, that's just my opinion at least, except for my first sentence low elo data definitely needs to be taken into consideration, unless the data is elo specific. Then obviously that would be different.

: It needs the ability to have a "wild card" where both teams can agree to ban 2 extra champs or something. Cause currently the 100% bans are {{champion:245}} {{champion:90}} {{champion:44}} {{champion:16}} and then you get your up and coming bs {{champion:78}} {{champion:18}} {{champion:238}} {{champion:236}} EDIT: Whoops looks like i forgot the worst of them all {{champion:9}} code name Middle sticks.

: I feel yasuo is on a pretty good place right now. He is decently weak early, and scales well into late game. He has 2 viable roles (mid lane carry or top lane split push God) and multiple build paths revolving around shiv phantom tri and I.e
I disagree with the "he is weak early". He is strong early game up until most champions get level 6 like Zed, Akali, Annie, etc. His early laning phase is fantastic if you know how to CS and stack e then harass. Other than that everything else you stated was correct and I agree with.

You can still solo :/ I've had plenty of games where it's just me and 4 other randoms vs 5 other randoms. People are just using dynamic queue as an excuse for their lack of skill. Plus, dynamic queue has honestly made me a better player from needing to react to teams and how often they camp lanes.

I used to be like that since you don't do as much burst damage, but the high mobility easily makes up for it!
: shiv is more efficient, gives wave clear and additional burst/ some poke damage. pd is better for 1v1 dueling, which isnt always possible. shiv is just better most of the time.
It all depends. Even in a team fight having the extra tanky stats keeps you from being bursted too quickly which is huge for Yasuo. Also, CLG Darshan built PD in his pro game yesterday. The Koreans also seem to be favoring PD as well. You should give it a shot. The burst on Shiv is nice, but Yasuo excels at sustained fights, so even building PD and IE over Statikk and IE may help you more in a 1 v 1, and a team fight.

: Don't be so cynical. Why can't you just believe his sister actually made the play. You can see from her flay after the hook she was a new Thresh player so it is completely possible.
