: This isn't Riot's Worst Mistake. I remember back in the day when people use to go Malz/Trundle top, because they could. I remember back when I could build Sword of the Divine Twisted Fate; and have fun watching his old model get 2.5 Attack Speed. This game use to be fun before Riot wanted to enforce the Meta Picks that people like playing. One day; I want to return to that style, where I can go Veigar/Nasus in lane and just scale indefinitely without being judged by every other person on the team.
Just go to bronze, all that you're describing is in increase in skill level and competitiveness.

That's why these skins aren't available at all times. They are poor quality when applied to today's standards, so they go into the vault. They are then made available at certain times to make people want to buy them _"Oh its expensive, its exclusive, It would be cool to have this."_ Due to them being in the vault they probably sell more of them now than they would have without the existence of a vault. Riot can go along saying _"Yeah these skins are poor quality so they've been removed from the store"_ and still get sales at the same time. The reason they will never be updated without a full champion VU is because then you're basically giving all of the people who own it a fancy new skin for _free_, and odds are anyone who would be willing to buy a **cool expensive** skin for a specific champion would be willing to buy an **exclusive expensive** skin for a champion, and even though they put in time and resource into a cool new skin they wouldn't see very many sales.
: Things were very very much cheaper. 6300 champs were RARE when they launched. Champs released at less than that often and there was a price reduction schedule to keep costs low. That was scrapped, and now they start at even higher than 6300. Icons were given away for free, now you have to buy them with IP. Rune Pages were free, now you have to buy them. Quints went on sale on Holidays and cost almost nothing.
If rune pages were ever free it was before Season 1 (Which is when i personally started playing), I remember buying Alistar for 3150 IP. He's cheaper now than he was before. Yeah they had a price reduction thing going on back then too, anything affected by it is cheaper now than it was before. VERY few Icons have been given away for free, some of the earliest "exclusive" icons available were made as incentives for RP purchases. They still give out summoner icons for events every 6 months or so, and its more icons than they gave out for free before. And yeah they had holiday runes, I have some greater quinessences of the Deadly Wreath myself and they were only 775 IP a pop. Wow. What a steal. Armor pen runes only cost 1025, the difference is pretty minimal there and exclusive runes were debunked because they're pretty pointless. If there were ever a time where things were actually cheaper before than they were now it was very early in either alpha or beta stages of the game, and solely for testing purposes. Count how many players have King Rammus, and that is the number who would have had access to these cheaper items. It wasn't easier to obtain things before, plain and simple.

Sated Devourer, every other hit applies on-hit effects twice. Passive, every 4th hit makes him auto twice. He gets on hit effects off a lot. Builds on-hit effects. Builds tank. Has ~60 true damage on hit, whatever his phys damage is in phys damage, ~ 100 magic damage on hit. Profit.

you dont have to land the knock up, you can just press Q and it will do the lowest damage in the area. The point is to charge it up for as long as you can without them walking out. That's not always going to knock them up. He is weak against mobility. We all understand that. Im just trying to say you should be able to at least hit them with some sort of damage every single Q.

Most of the top laners have either a stun, displacement ability or mobility ability. So you have to be playing against a bad opponent if they can't move sideways when they see the red outline.
But you also have to be a bad player to not let go of Q before they get outside of the red outline.

Good sion players don't try to charge the whole thing up all the way EVERY SINGLE Q. You let go of Q and guess what happens? The skill goes off. It's magical really, how someone could just hit them with it before they get out of it's area Stunning, really. Against champions who don't have dashes and with good aim you can get the knock up off most times too, and if you just tap it the spell is cast almost instantly. It's really not all that difficult to achieve, and i'll just assume you were under the misconception that it had to be fully charged up before you could use it.

: It does give him lifesteal. When he procs his passive with his spinny auto, he steals a little bit of HP. He should steal more though, I can't tell if I just get that little or I only steal one target's health instead of everything I hit in the spin..
You do steal health from everything you hit in the spin. But it is just that low.

I don't agree with the decision making part of Nidalee. She seem's pretty linear to me. Land spear? Go in if your team has an equal amount or more people nearby. Don't land spear? Signal fall back and don't go in. Generally how it goes, of course there are exceptions but I feel like I could use that thought process on her 85% of the time.

So he gets some breathing room to talk about war and whatnot. And he is still colossal. To me, the skin feels more like an idol of nature's fury, or something? Since he's ripped straight off of Darksiders, I guess the theme isn't friendly at all. Perhaps the fantasy/mystical feeling of the game's art design kinda blocks us in a way from really getting the true feel of more intricate aesthetics, weird plastic textures(eg. mecha malphite) and all. I could say more about Lissandra, but nobody's in the mood to read my bullshit anyways. I'll just say, if your notion about her is correct, I'd prefer her ultimate being a massive Tomb/shrine to an ancient god instead of her firing squids with her hands. Blade Queen spawns a massive Iron Maiden in a similar fashion. I guess it falls down to personal opinion and taste. Those allow us to interpret skin themes differently. Bottom line, I, as a consumer, wouldn't pay money to buy these skins would they ever be created, because they don't follow my personal criteria. And look, I'm getting downvoted like a true unpopular opinion :D

Not only this but MOBAs in general were very new to a lot of people. A lot of important concepts used to win games now weren't even existent in games. It had a whole different feel to it at the time.

This. When the edge of the spell's hitbox hits the edge of the champion's hitbox of course its going to look rather buggy. If it didn't everyone would literally look like simple shapes that take up exactly as much space in all areas as their hitbox does.
