Been having the same issue for over a week myself. Tried everything online to no avail...
: Part of the issue is likely a coding problem. League still doesn't have quite the right means to properly record and display damage recently dealt, which is why it sometimes registered Heal as a major source of true damage or the like. Giving Death Recap a technical update would likely require overhauling a lot of old code, which might not be as important right now as other priorities Riot's engineers are working on. A larger issue, though, as mentioned in the OP, is one of format. Even if the current death recap were technically perfect, it still wouldn't be very good, because it wouldn't really do a great job of informing the player what to do in order to improve. Perhaps the distribution of damage types could indicate how to counter-build, but that might also be skewed by a misplay causing the player to take much more damage of a certain type than they should have, or even just damage that's less easy to counterbuild, e.g. percent health and/or true damage. When Death Recap eventually gets an overhaul, it'll likely be tied to the replay system, as it would likely be a lot more informative to be able to see a full clip of the X few seconds before death, alongside relevant data, rather than just a damage type distribution.
My frustration is when the death recap shows 3 abilities and that i took lets say 800 damage for simplicity however I have 1200 health and I'm like where did the other damage come from?!?!?!?

: I think if someone kills an enemy while in vision of your ward you should get an assist. You don't have to give a lot of gold to the person but it might encourage people to ward more if that was the case. Just my thoughts.
I've had the same thought but i think that should only be the case in a bush AND then enemy had to go through that bush.

I think damage should be calculated from combat. so if someone gets out of combat and has 50% health...that 50% health is now 100% health for calculation purposes. and for your example Player A would get 50% of the "kill" goild + (assist amount-kill gold) PLayer C would get the assist amount Player D would get 50% of the kill gold + (assist amount-kill gold)

If you want to treat League by the rules of sports then you have to abide by where the rule makers draw their line. So take your own advice and don't say anything in front of the refs. I definitely agree with you but my post wasn't about allowing actual trash talking but rather why riot gives players the tools to "trash talk" without having to actually trash talk. It's almost as if Riot is saying that they allow trash talking up as long as you use these methods provided even though everyone knows what they mean.

I think the reason you and the majority of players don't care is because it doesn't require anything extra on your part. Play enough and you get it but then why call it champion mastery of it doesn't really mean you have mastered that champion?

Trash talking is a part of the professional scene......but yes, if a ref hears you, they MAY punish you but what WONT happen EVER is a professional player walking over to a ref (i.e. Reporting) and telling the Ref that X player hurt his feelings. That's the difference. Those two lines in football are talking hella trash to each other before the hike....but the refs can't hear it....and the players don't report it. They just let their play speak for themselves.

How can they not have the "tech" when they show they are capable of doing it with the new champ. And as far as an advantage to skill shot champs. The abilities still have a range. Just because you can zoom out doesn't mean that ezreals Q gets a longer range AND if you are in the fog of war...he can't see you anyway.

I nomally tke exhaust as well but when i was trying to pick a summoner that more defense than offensive ability between heal and exhaust...heal won out. normal bot lanes run heal/exhaust with the adc taking heal but if they were to swap, it would not change much bot lane. Plus you dont see heal TOO often other than bot lane for the most part.

Nobody plays hecarim because his w is hard to manage since it grows and since this stupid blitz nerf his pick rate went down very hard. Solution would still to keep the slow at the end because late game you were 100% the time at 40% more movement speed (which is idiot) but they could revert the nerf on his growing w (also be clear about the initial speed rate and final one because the way its calculated now its ompletly wrong and you know how riot does to ignore us and pretend everything is ok? they just dont say a word and try to make us forgot this fact just like most of medias)

Yeah it is frustrating to be penalized for using an ability. I think they should revert the nerf and if they feel its warrented, just decrease the speed boost. The slow is "anti-fun" Riot.
