: WHO ELSE IS DONE WITH RANKED???
This community is so....whats the word..."special". You kids would down vote almost ANYTHING. Rito could sell you their own sprikled covered crap, someone would come to the forum and say "man this thing stinks", and you all would down vote it. lol I guess for the pre-mades its AMAZING since its pretty much freelo. Even though they were bronze 5 last 5 seasons in solo Q. Good times.

: Ranked Games And People Trolling/Elo Boosted Account What to do about it
Sad thing as long as they say nothing during the game Rito wont do anything. They only punish "toxic" players. Haven't figured out why, since there is a mute button to stop verbal abuse but not one to stop trolls, afks, feeders, etc etc.

: Not really. That guy is way too positive. He's awesome. Bronzies would just sit in a corner and refuse to participate because someone made fun of them.
This is true, for once I will have to agree with someone on the forum. lol

Yup, there are the kids we have to play with now that Rito forced silver/gold players into bronze league. Try carrying kids like this so you can win matches and claw your way out of Bronze. Rather eat razor blades.
: well im gold now and sometimes you just gotta discover what role to play when your constantly losing games in bronze where u cant seem to carry i suggest try finding a duo partner who is mechnically good for jungle or support and then u play yi not hard yi or xin zhao can solo carry veigar can only hit single targets so if u played a more aoe champion that would increase your chances try to find the right champion to elo abuse your way out ive been playing this game for 3years too but i discovered how to constantly improve myself never pick selfish champions into a bad team comp is another thing in solo que
Veigar Q and W are multi target. My KDA avg with him is very good. But as i mentioned I use him for his AOE stun for team fights and tower push. Maybe when Jihn comes out I can get lucky and like you said elo abuse my way out....again.
: The matching making system is busted I have a 8 win streak and ill solely play Janna until I lose. Got placed in silver but it's ok I got out in a few days like holy lee shit. Why is it hard to get out of bronze? People don't wanna play or bad at a certain role Bad decision making Giving in to rage Bronze mentally you think your better then everyone even though your all technically bronze How to get out? Play champions that you can carry with and not because you can win your lane but actually mechincally good enough to carry the game. You can't be playing Nasus and say your team sucks when you split push the whole game. Even if you won lane where are you putting the advantage to? This is a team game don't pick selfish champions into bad team comps.
I've been playing this game for 3 years, i know how to carry but its almost impossible in bronze. I buy pinks non stop, roam and try to help other lanes (but most the time they are over extended so would have to dive, or un warded , or they focus the tank when i gank from mid), I usually try carrying with Veigar and build a lot of CD reduction so i can use mass stun every 6-8 seconds to give team the upper hand in team fights and instantly blow up a carry. But even doing things most Gold+ players are used to cannot counter the utter stupidity that i find at this rank.

: You are in Bronze for a reason mate. You can only drop so far in placements so this season try to climb high enough that Bronze isn't an option to fall back into. Keep in mind that the overall quality of a Bronze player at the moment ranges from Mid Silver to Low Gold. If you don't get out now you will have to climb out with legitimate Bronze players on your team when all the placement dust settles.
i have 4 accounts which have been gold/silver for 3 season. so yeah guess i deserve to be in bronze? oh this community.
Rioter Comments
: That would be why lol.
thats MMR for S4-S3 between those ....closer to S3 so that still doesn't make any sense.
: Did you fall back to silver 2 during the preseason? First off, I thought they removed the ability to fall out of gold...but anyway. If you fell from gold 1 to silver 2, your MMR was HORRIBLE. I mean, really bad. In order to drop out of gold, your MMR would have to be silver 5 at the time. And then to keep falling to silver 2, it was probably bronze MMR. Then, the season reset would have considered your bronze MMR, not your silver 2 ranking. That's how League works. If not, then you just got hit by the rito hammer. They dropped everyone at least 1 tier pretty much.
my MMR was 1270 by the end of Season 5 and yes i dropped from Silver 1 to silver 2 or 3 during pre season.

: Im not a lawyer and this may vary by the physical location of thebserver being played on, riot hq, or the residence of the account owner. Riot does not have any legal obligation to return the money to the parent. Here ia the reason why. Scenario A. Parent has no idea their card was even used. They are a victim of identity theft and their child is the perp. IF the parent wanted to file a police report against their child then they could get the money back FROM THEIR BANK. But not from riot. Scenario B. Parent knowingly gives child their credit card so they can purchase things on league of legends. Parent did not sign any contract or click I Agree in client. Child gets banned in game. Ultimately (at least in the usa) the parent of a child is legally responsible for all actions their child takes. (from a civil stand point not criminal) this means the parent SHOULD HAVE read the EULA to / with their child and that their child would then be held accountable for their actions based on the eula. However if the parent does not do this it does not excuse them from having the account banned. An analogy if that didnt make sense. And this i know from working in loss prevention. A child gets caught shop lifting. The child will be dealt with in criminal court for their actions (account banned) but from a civil stand point my employer still sues the parent for their childs behavior.(loss of money)
This inst a loss prevention situation though. Content is being paid for by a child that has no legal authority to accept any agreement or contract. Would be more like a child going into a store buying a porno mag with parents credit card, being asked if the was an adult, lied and said yes, then the store clerk catches him at door takes the magazine but doesn't give money back.

Firstly, Riot cannot hold a child responsible for a "contract", Riot does not verify age or ID, AND it was the parent money to start with. I don't know i am no law expect like i mentioned it was just something i was thinking about the other day. The thing is your kid should never have your credit-cards anyways? And if you let them do online purchases you should use a pre-paid one with a set limit? It also doesn't really matter with U.S Law if your dog clicks the agreement or if you do it with your eyes closed? The thing is you are letting your kids use your computer, and create accounts without your consent (If you don't put good library software to lock out all websites you don't want them to visit and such you have control over this stuff but many parents don't do this.
This isn't something that has happened to me just a thought. And a lot of company's example Google will refund money used if you tell them the purchase was made by a child that did not have authorization but who had gotten a hold of phone and made a purchase by mistake.

Wouldn't bother trying to explain what a troll is to this community. they support them like their lives depend on it. Seriously, ive been reported so many times for calling out trolls BY MY OWN TEAMMATES. talking about people who go 0/10 in EVERY GAME you can see on their history, yet this community will defend them to the death while the only one trying to win and with skill gets banned for saying "reporting troll" during match. Good thing though, in little to no time at all the community will have gotten the majority of skilled players banned and be stuck with only trolls to play with. GL with that folks.

If it didn't say this in it you could likely sue them however you can sue for any reason anyone you want if you have the money the question is about winning or getting it thrown out, but anyways here it is. . If a company fails to put a agreement about minors in their agreement then yes you could sue them however you should read the full agreement, for any game or service, and if they update or change and you no longer agree OPT-Out, don't agree or use their service anymore so if you had a legal issue you could sue for during the time before you no loger agree you could sue. ** Here's Riot Games "Terms OF Use" That prevents this, keep in mind it doesn't prevent legal action usually you can sue anyone you want, but likely wont win, or seek legal advice too.** http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse > B. : Since you say it's hypothetical curiosity, I assume you wouldn't mind a rather technical response. 1. The EULA is technically not a contract (in the most basic definition of 'contract') it is a customer's acknowledgement of a disclaimer. In other words it protects the service provider from litigation by making every person acknowledge the provider's terms of use they take away the excuse "I didn't see your terms because they were hidden" argument. 2. Child using a parent's credit card without authorization will have no bearing on a ban. If the child uses the card without parent's approval, the responsibility is on the parent to address it in a reasonable amount of time. So if the kids uses the card to buy skins, and a month or two later parent sees it on the bill, RIOT may (at their discretion) refund the purchase of it was a direct CC purchase. I'm also assuming RIOT will van the account after that since they are using money they aren't authorized to. Note, if the child is making the purchases over time, and gets banned a year later and the parent then makes that claim, it is the discretion of RIOT to issue a refund, but under those circumstances much less likely. Disclaimer: I'm not a RIOT employee, I hold a CJ degree with a pre law focus and 8 years customer service experience. So this is just the answers to the technicality and how companies approach these scenarios
No, even in my example the parent KNOWINGLY gives credit card to child to use. But someone under the age of 18 cannot be held responsible for any "terms of service" or "contract" the are legally not "competent" enough to do so. My example has to do with the fact that the parent did not accept the terms of use only the child which CANNOT do so (per the law).

The difference between making a store purchase and League though is that the store isn't going to come to your house and take the stuff you purchased. Also, the parent's knowingly gave them the money to use. My example has to do with the legality of the user contract. No person under the age of 18 can make a contract or be held up to it. That is why many CD companies 12-15 years ago went bankrupt when kids under 18 made orders online using a birth date that made them look 18. The company sent the CD's expecting payment but never received any so they tried to submit it to collection but could never get anymore because the kids doing this were under 18 which voided the contract they had made with the company saying they would pay shipping fee, etc etc. I remember when i was in the 8th grade almost everyone in my class did this and not one person ended up paying for them.

If something like the situation you described happened and the kid used their parent's money and the parent wanted the money back, they'd have to go to their bank and try to get a chargeback because their kid used their card without permission, and even then the bank can also decide to say yes or no. if they say yes and get a refund from riot then riot will also remove all things that were purchased with that money, including RP and anything bought with said RP. if it happens to be something that could possibly not be refunded, like perhaps ip/exp boosts etc, then riot will lock your account until you pay for the used services. riot is in no way responsible for any kids taking money from their parents, however if need be then you can still try to contact them through a support ticket and talking with someone about such things.

They were trolls just like you are. You come into games feeding and toxic saying stuff like "int feeding cuz i didnt get mid" and then the morons of the community stick up for them and wonder why this game is a troll fest. I see people get banned for being "toxic" all the time yet never any of the actual trolls. whats sad is that most of these so called "toxic" players could carry you low elo scrubs yet you are to busy defending the int trolls.

Doesnt matter who started it, or who was in the wrong. you could have done the mature and rightful thing and just drop it, muted them, and move on.
My bad when i have trolls on my team and I am trying to rank up and they are toxic feeders its hard for me to NOT say anything. I've also been reported "verbal" for saying "ez" or "you're welcome for the freelo". It wasn't because they were worse then me it was because they were blatant trolls.

Welcome to ranked?? I mean this has been a problem since day 1 and riot will never address it until they start losing a lot of players (which will eventually happen). I run this combo = E, W, Q, R usually always land the W and it does a ton of damage. Just yesterday i locked down 3 squishes with E and 1 shot all 3 with W.
: What's with the flood of "Veigar rework was good"
I main veig mid now. It isn't his ult that makes him so strong or his q. His E is perfect for the tank/bruiser meta. You can lock down carries or keep tanks away. When pushing towers with team it makes them unstoppable. Also, i avg about 200-300 extra AP a game because of his q and usually end games with about 1200 ap even though i build for more cdr so i can use his E every few seconds.
: 14 day ban with chat restrict, ridiculous or okay?
I really don't know how you get banned. I get reported verbal a lot because of trolls. I am pretty much on chat restriction forever but never banned. Maybe its because I am not really toxic but calling out bad plays. And you know how it is with low elo's , if you ask them to spot feeding they freak out and tell everyone to report you for being "toxic"
: It is true that some games become practically unwinnable, like that example. You get one nasty troll and you get support, yeah it's not going to happen. However for every match like that you get that one match where you have the chance to carry your team or even just make an impact enough so that the one guy who is even just a little better than you and does happen to be in your team the same as that troll was, does carry. It's tough. But it's fair. Half the people are average or worse, half the people are average or better. League is played move to move, you have to be CONSTANTLY improving to notice a difference. It sounds cliché but keep the right attitude and keep at it is the only thing that works... indeed the only thing you CAN do.
these kids do not understand common sense. yes u can carry, if you get ur position or ur main champ. But if it gets banned or ur forced to play support then how do u carry when u have trolls. its not fair. league has turned into a game of who gets the least amount of trolls. Been playing for 3 years and i am better then most golds i play against but i am fing stuck in silver because of the amount of trolls i constantly get on my team.
: What were those 5 people doing? specifically. These posts always intrigue me because ive played since season 1 and I don't think ive seen 5 trolls total.
Ive had people call themselves trolls. int feed, int steal buffs and run at enemy team and die. Bait teammates into fights, etc etc.
