: It's pretty hard to say, so I'm assuming both. Even if the W was Vastayan magic though, his E dash is like almost like a slower version of alpha strike - leaving him open to counters, but still jumping on top of someone and hitting nearby targets as well. That's the most similar ability he's got to Yi, and undoubtedly a result of his training.

That's the most similar ability he's got to Yi, and undoubtedly a result of his training. So perhaps, therefore, it's possible to take other forms of Ionia's natural magic and train them in the "Wuju style"; it might not be so strict. Perhaps Irelia or Yasuo could be trained in Wuju, if they were willing (though Yasuo seems dismissive of it to be fair), or other races of vastaya. I do wonder if Wukong's invisibility might at least be partially vastayan magic though, since Rengar also has an invisibility ability, which seems to be the only magic he actually uses (although we don't really know the history of the Kiliash that much and their connections to any other vastaya, how much magic they can use, or how hard it is for them to shapeshift (according to a Rioter whom I forget, all vastaya can switch between full human and full animal at varying degrees of difficulty)).
Sukishoo (NA)
: Considering the theme is pretty basic, the highest being 975 that don't really change much, I'd say he'd see a 750 at best.

Riot doesn't make 750 skins anymore; they're too low-quality for today's standards. Cheapest it'd be is a 975, but people love Pyke so a full epic skin isn't a far-fetched guess. Not to mention, a total of 4 975 skins were released last year, and only half of them were fully loved by the community (Birdio and Sweeper Rammus). Playmaker Lee Sin seemed to get lukewarm reception and, while I love Blood Moon Evelynn's splash art and think her lore there is far more fitting than K/DA, I can't deny that skin has a lot of awkwardness to the model and animations, although the new W look and her recall are cool. So I think Riot's going to try to avoid anything below an epic skin.
: If I were to take a stab at it, I'd say Wuju style is a weapon based martial style focused around making one's weapon an extension of themselves. That's very generalistic...but comparing what we know: - Wuju users have weapons. - The weapons can be different. Wukong uses a staff, Yi uses a blade. - Both are more or less different from the other, but are linked through the fighting style. - Both have ways of disappearing (wukong going invis and leaving an afterimage that can hit someone, Yi using alpha strike to move FTL and reappearing a moment later, where his damage happens all at once) and ways of quickly channeling a lot of raw power in their ults...Yi's isn't a real channel, but its a lasting effect, which is where I'm going with this. The last point seems to put emphasis, as you said, on speed and number of strikes...a feat commonly seen in "combination attack martial arts" that are geared towards chipping away at an opponent instead of trying to land a decisive blow. It also fits with their weapon choice: Blades are versatile and can be used in either, but staves are known best for being used with momentum...that's why the key point to using a staff effectively is to never stop moving it. I'd be willing to bet that this style wouldn't work with things like Poppy's hammer, or Sion's huge axe, as it seems like large heavy weapons aren't in style with the Wuju style's repertoire. My biggest question is actually about the rings on their weapons. I'm getting nitpicky, since they go away with skins and therefore may not even matter...but it's very strange to me that they share weapons with dangling rings as well as the Wuju style, which makes me wonder if *that* is relative as well.

I have a question about this though: Wukong's cloning/invisibility. Now that we've seen Neeko have a very similar ability, is Wukong's invisibility/cloning using vastayan magic, Wuju martial arts-based magic, or a combination of both?
: It isn't. You already provided more than enough evidence in your post to support your statement. IMO, the real problem is that Riot's writing team hasn't given us a proper story or a lore reveal that details Ionia's inner societal & political corruption in a meaningful and in-depth matter yet, like they've already done for Demacia, Noxus, Piltover and Zaun. Sure, we've gotten small notions and mentions that briefly allude to Ionia's inner evils on a surface level - but nothing more than that. And this has been going on for _years_, to the point where I can't help but think that Riot's intentionally avoiding it for some reason or another. So much so, that they're willing to introduce a _second_ Noxian invasion into the lore that'll undoubtedly continue to push Ionia as some forever-victimized, harmonious, good-guy utopia. And I don't think it's a coincidence that the factions which received these "moral" grey lore updates/retcons just-so happened to be factions that were strongly based off of western society. And I don't think it's a coincidence that the Ionian champions who just-so happen to have some personal beef with their faction are all of Ionia's seemingly "evil" or "morally-questionable" champions, either. Zed, Syndra, Jhin, Kayn, Xayah and Rakan all have their own varying issues with Ionian society and culture - but I wouldn't consider any of them to be "good" people whose beliefs and views are wholly justified through their actions, as they've all done some _very bad _ things at some point in their lore. The only one who didn't comply to the status quo was Yasuo, who was forced to kill bounty hunters, his peers and even his own brother entirely out of self-defense. In fact Yasuo's backstory would've provided Riot with a perfect opportunity to explore Ionia's darker side if the murder of his master happened to be inside-job from a rival family clan or dojo... but that didn't turn out to be the case. Instead it turns out that Riven really _was_ the murderer all along and she was just suffering from some half-assed, mumbo-jumbo PTSD delusion. And even then, Yasuo's mentor wasn't acting in self-defense when Riven barged into his temple. She simply asked him to remove the evil curse that Leblanc enchanted into her rune blade. He (surprisingly and unrealistically) obliges and then the blade explodes in his face, killing him in the process. So it all turns out being the underwhelming aftermath of a complete accident. Eventually one Ionian counsel holds a trial for both Yasuo and Riven in their latest short story, and through a series of borderline laughable events, their jury and judge declare both of them innocent, despite Riven's past affiliations as an important enemy soldier, or the fact that Yasuo killed _dozens and dozens of people_ while he was a wanted man. There's a brief mention a shady priest who tried to frame Yasuo as a guilty man during his short trial, but I doubt Riot's ever going to explore this plot point in the near future any time soon, since they've yet to do the same with any other notable point points that've briefly mentioned anything about Ionia's inner corruption in the past. Maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions... but it's almost like Riot's terrified at the possibility of potentially offending their massive Asian consumer base by implementing their own innate cultural issues and societal corruption into Ionia's lore. Sounds crazy and maybe even borderline-offensive to some, but I'm just going to assume that this is the case if China's political censorship in movies, games and TV media is anything to go by. Meanwhile most western nations don't really seem to care if a company takes a page or two from the corruption that's prevalent in their societies, governments, economies or social classes and uses it as worldbuilding inspiration for their IP, which is probably the reason why Zaun, Demacia, Noxus and Piltover have clearly defined & explored "good sides" and "bad sides."

I wouldn't say that's quite the case, because there's something that Riot's mentioned (and I think was in Ryze's cinematic) called the "Navori brotherhood", who are connected to Irelia and seem to be extreme Ionian nationalists. Mind you, Irelia is also more of an extreme nationalist than she used to be before her rework (as in her quote to the Kinkou: "Keep your balance. Our side is the only one that matters!"). However, Riot didn't want to reveal more about the Navori brotherhood yet in their Ionia dev diary, which probably means that there'll be a new champion, perhaps their leader, that we'll see somewhere down the line...hopefully a long way away, because Ionia is confirmed to not be getting attention this year and they could use a little break for a while. But hopefully the Navori brotherhood shows an inherent "bad" side of Ionia that still wants to uphold the nation instead of just to kill its people, like Syndra or even Jhin (Zed is a bit of a pro-Ionian extremist himself but he's also going against their values so he doesn't really count).

Road Warrior is one of the more underdeveloped universes and I do hope we get an event for it this year, to flesh out what goes on there. : To share my own thoughts: The champion I would like to vote for would be Zac: {{champion:154}} He really rarely gets skins (the last one was a worlds skin, doesn't really count for the schedule, the last before that was Pool Party in 2015). One of the reasons for that is that his liquid body makes skins complicated for him. Kinda similar to Illaoi, who doesn't get alot of skins because it requires additional work with her tentacles. Skins I could imagine we could vote for: - Guardian of the Sands Zac (sand body, egypt ornaments) - Program Zac (nanobots creating his body, with a glowing core in the middle) - Honeycomb Zac (body is honey, honeycombs sticking on his body, bees on W, honeycomb pattern when he flattens for ult)

However, on a similar note, I would very much like a related candy skin that would likely go with Sugar Rush instead of the bee-themed skins (Singed and Teemo). Any kind of Jelly Zac, Pie Zac, or some sort of gooey candy would work so well for a new skin for him. He could have a mop of whipped cream and even a cherry for his "hair". And he could be the first Sugar Rush skin that isn't creepy in some way, although, maybe Riot would give him a creepy side.

: I hope we get a Evelynn Vs. Vayne event in the future.
Evelynn and Vayne don't work for the Versus theme. Versus is about rivals with a good side and bad side to each character's morality. With Evelynn and Vayne, Evelynn is the obvious villain who killed her parents for fun, whereas Vayne is the vengeful child hunting her down; she might be merciless, but she's doubtlessly the hero in that matchup. There's no gray areas for comparing those motivations.
: skins in general are complicated often they hold off on new skins for a Champ until they are due for an update, and even then there is no 100% guarantee as for skin series/lines that's even harder choosing which Champ might fit into a skin series can be problematic, especially since people here on the forums/reddit might disagree with them. they also want to make sure it will sell, making a skins for the sake of a skin doesn't always go well, as it could fall flat, or not be on par with other skins in that series

Where champions are policemen/policewomen/police dogs (Nasus) for Riot. I'm not sure why; maybe it's because they've gotten too big to do the events skins anymore, and it would be too hard for players to get them? Plus, they seem to like giving their legacy or limited skins a schedule lately, instead of the random event legacy skins from back in the day that would definitely be available skins today (Sheriff Caitlyn, Red Riding Annie, Butcher Urgot, the list goes on).

We know the new assassin champion (I would imagine it's a Noxian, who might fight with the wristblade teased in Awaken) is coming next after the likely Yordle support, but maybe the nonhuman Void champ will be next. Besides, isn't the roadmap only going up until mid-season?

: Annie in Wonderland Red Baron/Ice Toboggan/UFO Corki (UFO is technically a legendary though the client doesn't acknowledge it) Alien Invader Donger Firefighter Tristana Surprise Party Fiddle (technically a legendary) And of course, the worst skin in the game, The Magnificent TF. These are the ones with no unique VO and most of them are just essentially 520-value skins that sell for 1850 (aside from Surprise Party Fiddle, which retails for 975 and is worth about that much). Personally I'd say that Annie in Wonderland and Alien Invader Donger deserve to get at least VO updates, and The Magnificent TF should be totally overhauled (especially getting a new splash art because YIKES!) And Corki's three legendaries and Fiddle will get updated with their VGU's so we don't have to worry about them.

As a TF main, I say a Musketeer splash redo should come first...although personally that's my least favorite skin of his because it fits least with his theme and his incredible suave charming personality. {{sticker:sg-lux}} But either The Magnificent should get a new voiceover...or should just be made an epic skin. Imagine a gnarled ancient looking ent maiden. I really want an Elderwood {{champion:83}} and {{champion:77}}. Perhaps if {{champion:83}} is as old as he is in the main lore, he could have memories of the past war with the old gods and the Coven (and the Death Blossoms if they were involved; we need some info on this stuff), and {{champion:77}} could instead read and interpret the memories of the forest spirits (perhaps he could even understand Elderwood {{champion:432}}).
: Outdated legendary skins.
The biggest ones that need updates are the extremely old legendary skins that were released at the time where legendary skins were the equivalent of epic skins now, similar to how ultimate skins at the time (Pulsefire Ezreal and Spirit Guard Udyr) are now more like today's legendary skins. The Magnificent Twisted Fate and Annie In Wonderland are most notable because they don't even have new voice lines, whereas every other old legendary skin (Brolaf, Corporate Mundo, Demonblade Tryndamere etc.) all at least have that (correct me if I'm missing any old legendaries without new voicelines, but I think those are the only two). At the time, it was a big deal for a skin to have new effects and a model overhaul, but now, that's a typical epic skin. Either those two should get an RP drop to at most 1350 or a total overhaul to be true legendary skins. Legendary skins that at least have new voicelines, like the three I mentioned above, would probably be more in line to get Gatekeeper Galio/Nunu Bot-esque overhauls.

I would also add {{champion:42}} {{champion:36}} and {{champion:9}} on tier 1++ We know there's no Ionia coming this year, but it might come in another year or two (although I think Kennen's been moved down to Tier 2 for a VGU). And yes, those are well known to be high-tier, although Mundo and Fiddlesticks just got skins so they might be another year. Corki though, I was half-expecting the Bandle City update to come with his rework, but now it's almost completely certain that it'll come with the next new support champion. Wouldn't be surprised if we get more Bandle lore, or rather, Bandle-to-the-outside-world info (more stuff on Heimer, Ziggs, Kennen, maybe even some more on Poppy and Kled) when he gets reworked, because he's sort of listed as both Piltover and Bandle City right now.

: I know that many want to point out stories for characters that are presumably "color stories", but we are pretty sure they are not. Nami and Rengar are open for discussion though, they have the champion name in the URL but not the "color-story". Riot has other stories that do not exactly follow the same naming pattern, such as _*~~A Fair Trade~~*_ (https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/story/ahri-color/) which we categorized as Ahri's Color Story or _*~~Fast and Dumb~~*_ for Wukong (https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/story/monkeyking-color/) In the end, only Riot knows the actual definition of a "color" story, however I am pretty sure that it should not move the lore forward - and Nami's does exactly that. We don't know. Maybe a writer could help here? With moving the lore forward, I think it depends on the champion in question. For example, One Last Shot shows how Graves (and Twisted Fate, although not present at the time of the short story) are in Piltover right now, even though for some reason, the map still lists them as being in Bilgewater, which they are not anymore. By the way, shouldn't Snow Day count as Gnar's official color story now? I know that one was missed among all the Sylas hype, but it depicts a little event from Gnar's point of view. Concerning the Yordles in different areas (Kennen, Ziggs, Heimerdinger), they'll probably all be updated when Bandle City receives its update. I should think it's going to be more of a lore bomb than the "Demacia event" which we now know is going to be spread out among Lux lore and even more Lux lore in the rest of the year, but we haven't heard of any Yordles getting anything of the sort.

: I'd think it's on a cse-by-case basis. Evelynn got a new story before her rework and that's gone now, lost as part of her old lore. Most of the lore Ezreal had before his update stayed more-or-less the same, and it seems that Mordekaiser will be in a similar state when his rework finally hits. As for Udyr, my guess would be that the new stuff would probably stay as most of what's mentioned is key to his story, though they might change wording/add onto it or even evolve his lore like they did with Akali.

: Is Udyr the man who Kalkia left the Winter's Claw for?
It's definitely not Sejuani, because the relationship with the woman happened before Udyr left and fought against the Noxian invasion, which was a decade and a half ago. Sejuani would have been pretty young at the time when Udyr went to Ionia with Lee Sin, probably about 8 or 9. However, before that, Udyr and Kalkia might have been the perfect ages to be together at the time when Kalkia abandoned her tribe. Pretty sure the woman is Kalkia.

She's still power-hungry, manipulative, and all that, but only Nunu's lore shows that (and a bit in The Eye In The Abyss), not her own. > [{quoted}](name=Whyte Lyon,realm=OCE,application-id=6kFXY1kR,discussion-id=jE4joFP7,comment-id=00000001,timestamp=2019-01-31T22:15:35.415+0000) > > What exactly was "pulled" for Lissandra? Answering you here. That's the problem with Lissandra's bio up there. ^ Concerning Mordekaiser, I would hope that they can do those adjustments *right*, with the right writing. Give him some nuance, but still make him a dominating villain, even if he is fighting other evils and near-evils. The roadmap did mention living up to his fantasy of a metal overlord, so hopefully that theme stays intact.

: Morgana and Kayle are probably still a month away
It was speculated after the last roadmap that they would come in March, but I don't think we expected to get Sylas as early as 9.2; everyone was expecting maybe 9.3 or 9.4. We know next patch is exclusively Heartbreakers, but I guess we'll have to see if we get anything early next week. I'm guessing we might get them in 9.5, maybe 9.6 if there really are some big gameplay things in Morgana's new kit to work on. However, I think Riot wants to have the new support and the Mordekaiser rework out by mid-season, and maybe the new assassin too, so I'd say 9.5's a better bet.

: @ Lore Team: Can I Get Some Runeterran Recipes?
Kled also mentions being "deep-fried courage and an apple pie of angry", so assumedly, deep-frying and apple pies are a thing around Noxus and maybe Demacia too. Hell, I could even see apple pies in the Freljord. Could you imagine sitting down to eat a warm apple pie with Braum and his poros? Wouldn't that be the most heartwarming experience?
