: Me not having to change my username and trying to find out why the boards are such a hellfire fest
Honestly, I feel like some people were kinda given the shaft. If you played any of Riot's other games and used the same username, you had to change your sign in name. So, by supporting Riot and playing in the PBE, Legends of Runeterra, and League of Legends with the same username, you now have to change. I don't hate it, because nobody will ever see it. But it's hard to go from using the same username everyday for every game/account/whatever to a completely different name. Annoying to say the least.

I dunno. I had two games that were nearly identical that were ten minutes apart. The only difference was the new support items and the old support items. With the old support item, I had 10700 gold. With the new support item, I had 10300 gold. Can you guess which was the longer game? Lmao.

You're forgetting Twin Shadow's 2400. Standard for a lot of AP supports. It's easy to point out all the champs that take the cheapest items (not to mention, these items don't apply to every situation, but that's probably a little too hard to understand I guess...), but how about tanky supports? That don't rely on all cheap items? For example, Nautilus standard build? It's not uncommon for a tank to take Righteous Glory 2650, Randuin's Omen 2900, or even Deadman's Plate 2900. Let's also not forget that it takes almost 40 minutes to obtain JUST 10000 gold which is required for the CHEAPEST full build. Without control wards and elixir. Tell me how a support is supposed to stay viable here? "Well gee, guys, y'all get a free item for 400 gold. It also got a staff buff, so quit complaining." Okay, but what about utility instead of just raw stats? A lot of supports would prefer utility over raw dmg stat buffs. Sure, some wanted the raw dmg stat buffs, but losing the mana regen and CDR really hit some supports hard. I don't understand what people aren't getting. The new change will eventually effect those who aren't support mains. Because, news flash, the new items have been met with a lot of negative feedback from support mains. Some of the support mains are trying to find new roles. So guess who's going to be getting autofilled?

If my carries are getting 11-12k Gold, I'm ending at 10-11k Gold. If they are ending 16-20k. I'm ending 14k. BUT ONLY IF I WASN'T HARD COUNTERED. If you are hard countered, you really feel the difference.

I notice that the games where you're "ending games with very similar gold" are games where you've taken quite a bit of CS. This is most likely why you're capable of keeping up in gold generation. I've also noticed in those games that your ADCs tend to have less farm than they should, likely because you're sapping their minions to provide yourself with the gold you're losing with the new support items. That's not how you should be supporting. If you were to take away the amount of farm you acquired in those games, you'd be a lot worse off, gold generation wise. Your ADCs would probably be better off as well. Just food for thought.

I've had this issue several times as well. One thing you can do is sign out of your primary user and sign back in. That usually helps for me. It's faster than restarting the computer. Still very annoying.

: Tank Junglers.....A Thing of the Past?
The buff to Cinderhulk tried to give a little back to tank jungles. However, I believe you’re right. Basically picking a tank jg, you kind of shoot yourself in the foot. It’s harder to deny scuttles from heavier damage types and it’s easier for you to get counter jungled. There are more options for damage than for tanks in the rune pages as well.

I think they look great, honestly. But you can always use one of your refunds on it. However, I don’t think they’ll “remedy” a complaint based on “I don’t like the mace.” The update looks really good and much more appropriate for the advances League has made in their game.

So the reason you can't, and shouldn't, refund LP is because of how it can be abused. Someone is doing extremely poorly. The rest of the team bullies him into "trolling" so the rest can refund LP. Someone playing on an alt account, "This game isn't winnable, better troll so my duo doesn't lose LP." Etc. Extremely abusable.

Yea. They tried this. It didn't work. The threat of a permanent ban is a better deterrent than a chat restriction. Chat restriction doesn't cause you any harm at all. Banning makes you lose all your progress. They tried and it didn't work. Only toxic people want this. Lmao.

Not all of us are like that! Just enjoy the game and forget the haters. Sometimes it helps to queue up with others. I’ve made a lot of friends on League over the years. So it’s easy to find five man groups. Sorry the community can be pretty rough sometimes. Just comes with Online gaming, unfortunately. Especially competitive gaming. Pros don't really misplay very much which means this will be 100% pick/ban in pro play. That's pretty OP. Like, why would you ult the Yi if he'll clean up the rest of the team? Why wouldn't you ult the peel for the Yi that way they can get to the Yi easily? What if it's Morde supp? You're trading supp for jungler, which is really good. There's a lot of potential for abuse. Also, what's to stop the Morde team from starting the baron and just ulting the jungler when they counter engage? You could start baron at any time with Morde.

It literally builds into a Zhonya's. Which you can use indefinitely. I also disagree with your first statement. You ult the carry. Fight the carry for approximately 7 secs if you stall the fight. Enemy support doesn't have stall items. Dies to ADC. Bot lane now 2v1 after Morde ult. Bot now has priority. Let's think about this. Enemy team taking baron. Morde ults enemy jg. Your jg smites. Same with dragon. I dunno. It's pretty strong. Too many applications that don't offer enough counterplay. That's why Akali's w doing stealth under towers was too strong. Not enough counterplay. We'll see a lot of the same issues here. Not enough counterplay.

I'm not thinking about it being a 7 second cc, don't put words in my mouth. SMH. As I've said, I'm aware that they will both be participating in the fight. The problem is, he either stalls the most fed person on the team or kills the most fed person on the team with his ult. Either way, he's done his job. That's relatively strong because it's guaranteed. The potential to take a person out of the fight for 7 seconds is extremely powerful. The only viable solution I've seen that you've given is kiting, but it's still a point and click ability. Meaning if he procs his passive, he has move speed and runs and ults. It's hard to kite that. "You can kill him" that's the equivalent to telling someone to "Click on their heads" in a first person shooter. Are you trying to meme me? Nah. There isn't enough counterplay to it.

Exactly what I've been thinking. I don't think this is a good call and I imagine it'll be reverted, hopefully.

I'm just analyzing the importance of Morde leaving the fight vs. the best player on their team or the only tank, etc. Morde has the choice to use the ult. You don't have the choice of whether or not to be in it. That's why I said maybe. We don't know the interactions yet. However I'd argue that a useless Morde for the team's only tank/adc would be pretty beneficial. And if the Morde get the kill in a short period of time, he comes back even stronger. There isn't really a lose situation for the Morde except dying. And if his goal was to stall the enemy's damage/cc, then I would argue that would be a win, honestly. We'll have to wait until the champ comes out to see the interactions and whether or not it's overpowered.

It's more along the lines of "How can Morde screw up one person's day." Because regardless of if he wins or loses, that person doesn't get to participate for up to 7 seconds. Riot has been trying to do away with point/click forms of suppression (I.E. Warwick's ult). This is probably a step in the wrong direction. At least you could cleanse or qss suppression. I'm not so sure about this one since it isn't actually a CC. I have a feeling this is a bit too ambitious and may get reverted in the near future. Or Morde could get nerfed to nothingness due the lack of counterplay. We'll see how it all pans out.

Or, alternatively, he stalls the fed ADC in a fight with Zhonya's, move-speed, and a supremely large shield. Barrier would probably go well in this stall tactic as well. When 7 secs is over, does the ADC have a team left? Most likely will die immediately.

It's relatively easy to predict (swinging hammer) so it's easy to counter with Zhonya's, sidestep, etc. If it does hit, then yes, it takes someone out of the fight for a bit and leaves Poppy in the fight. But it at least has counterplay. What's the counterplay to Morde ult? Point, click, goodbye? Can't sidestep it. Can't Zhonya's it. We aren't sure if Banshee's counters it (Like Poppy's hammer). I imagine it wouldn't, but who knows. It has no cast time. What is the counterplay?

It'd be surprising if he didn't get reverted, honestly. This ult looks a little too overbearing in team play. Like, 100% pick/ban in pro play or high elo. It effectively makes one person obsolete from a fight. Whether the Morde is fed or not, it's still a really strong ult. Not to mention, the interactions with various champs (I.E. Yuumi) and items (Banshee veil, etc.) I just don't know if it's a particularly fair ability. I think it's a really cool concept, but I don't think it has a place in League, tbh. Those are my personal opinions.

Long enough for the enemy team to body the rest of them. Especially with an assassin heavy meta. It's just really strong, I think. But we'll see.

The only counter-play is to kill him. What if he stalls? Like, That's a ridiculous amount of time for an ability that takes people out of the fight completely.
