: Remove dynamic with from ranked. That's all I care about.
That's one of the reasons why I've stopped playing ranked. One-sided games are annoying but when it's competitive like ranked, it just feels much worse. I think they will bring back Solo Q...it's only a matter of _when_.
Zerolera (NA)
: I'm not sure if that's so much the game's fault or it's simply because you're just getting bored of playing the same game over and over. A lot of the changes are to try to keep players interested in the game but that doesn't always work.
Yes, I understand the need for change but I guess it's not working for me. It's funny because when the different game-modes come out, I do like playing those. The normal game (or ranked) just don't give me the same rush. Guess it's a good thing they are doing the rotating queues --- at least I can have some fun every weekend or so. Maybe I have to take a longer break or just limit myself and see if the interest picks up...

: Icon for skin loot
Oh, whenever you get a skin shard and it has one of those small icons, it means the skin is either: a) a legendary (the most expensive ones) b) retired skin (not available in the shop unless it's a special holiday) c) old as balls skin that you can't get like the olympic ones, pax skins, etc (probably the rarest of them all) I think that's what they mean!

: I am also getting these problems.. Any help?
I have **re-installed** the game and it seems to be working so, maybe try that? If you have the time to do that, of course. It took me around 1 hour and 40 minutes to uninstall and re-install the game, it launched and I am currently in the lobby so, it doesn't seem to be giving me any issues. If you would prefer waiting, maybe try again tomorrow. I remember a few times I had issues with the game (or it was the server messing up) and trying another day usually worked but I can't promise anything. Good luck and I hope you find a solution!
: well I didnt do it yet because I want an answer. But your so right. The only admin responses i got on my posts were that I had something in the wrong section. Its just annoying.
Honestly, you would probably find twenty dollars on the floor than anyone from Riot answering your post. Well, **re-installing** the game seems to have fixed my issue so, maybe you should give it a try whenever possible (if you don't get an answer, that is). It took me around _an hour and forty minutes_ to uninstall and then install the game which is quite a long time but it's better than not being to play, I guess. Sorry about that, man...but yeah, don't expect much help because that hardly ever happens. People are quicker to insult you to the ground than provide any actual help whenever you have an issue. I hope you either get an answer and fix your problem or you end up **_re-installing_** the game and that works out for you. Either way, I wish you the best and hope you have a good weekend, nonetheless.
: Reinstalling works but it is so annoying that that can be the only fix. Also, I have spent a TON of money into the game. But I get absolutely no benefits except for champs and skins.
Thank you for responding! I hope it works for me as well but since each case is different, I'm not getting my hopes up. Let's just reinstall and see where it goes, not much else I can do... I know there are no benefits to actually spending money on this game besides aesthetical changes but what I meant is, with the amount of money this company makes, they could have better ways to monitor the forums and reach out to people who have issues. It's not like they can't afford hiring someone with that specific job, you know? Well, good to know it fixed your problem so, happy gaming and have a nice weekend!
: 33% Bug. No fixes help.
Same issue here. Worked just fine yesterday but today it's been stuck reading files for hours. It's disgusting and ridiculous because the staff won't even bother to give us an answer. The company makes so much money and they can't have someone monitor at least the two sections of the forums where people report issues. Best of luck to you. Currently deleting the game and then I will install and see if it fixes anything. Hopefully I haven't lost an entire day for nothing because the game is fucking huge :\

: I think the ranking system messed up
Honestly, I don't understand how the grade system works either. There are games where my score is very positive (more kills than deaths), I have pushed a couple of towers, have almost or actual full-build and a decent amount of minions and it will give me an A+. Some games it can give me an S- and other games I do worse and will give me an S. Seems kind of random at times...

No, i judge only the fact that you blame your team:). You suck too, why blame them? for not carrying you? Make 100 cs before the 30 min mark, after that, you can talk:).
Not wasting my time with you anymore since you clearly have the copy/paste mentality everyone else has. Have a good Sunday and take care.
: It's rough sometimes, but have faith that statistically you are likely to have a 8 game win streak in which you bounce back (or you may have had one previously and now you're just back to 'normal'). Theres definitely a negativity bias where the loss streaks stand out more than the win streaks in our memories but if you actually keep at it and go through your games history after play a few dozen more games, finding the win streaks that 'balance' the loss streaks is usually possible.
I'm wondering if I can be blessed with that amount of luck to actually win eight games in a row. Seems unlikely, in all honesty. The amount of games that I've won or lost shouldn't affect the balance. If it was meant to be fair then I'd be winning and losing an equal amount and become static; not lose so much in a row and when it comes to winning, I have three or four games in a row. Seems like some bullshit but oh well, complaining clearly does nothing since Riot doesn't give a shit about the state of Dynamic Queue...

: People think that things like Yi support are just trolls. No, no. There are people that actually think they can out preform the enemy laners with picks like that. You can browse the forums for a bit and you'll see these people from time to time. "AD LeBlanc support is so OP!" and I don't think there's anything Riot can do. They don't know any better. I mean people do win with these picks occasionally, I've been in games with picks like that and we've won, but only because of things like an AFK or an extremely fed traditional carry. My advice is to try to leave the lobbies where people do that. Losing 3 LP vs losing 15+ LP is a no brainer.
I should have dodged but I also should have called it a day after losing two games. Continued to play with hopes that I could win and ended up being demoted and just fucking up all of the progress I had made through-out the week. Kind of sad that it always seems to happen on my side and I don't see the enemy team pick something like "ADC Cho'Gath" during my Ranked games...I have the shittiest luck, it seems.
: welcome to bronze hell. Riot hasn't fixed the system in at least three years... they dont give a flip about us free playing bronze level people. they go where the money is just like everyone else
They would rather focus on new content than fix what's already existing and clearly broken. The fact that people know Dynamic Queue is being abused and they haven't solved that shows what their priorities are.
Saianna (EUNE)
: You don't have to have insane lucky streaks. Just 1 lucky win is counted as lucky streak of wins of this year. And then you are fked for few games with shoes and socks instead of players..
I think this game has a long way to go in terms of balance when it comes to Ranked. I would blame how easier it is to make smurf accounts now but that's been an issue for ages. Between the overpowered AD items completely melting anybody who tries to build tank, to the way Dynamic Queue can be abused...this game just seems like it has had better days. Kind of sad I decided to play Ranked...Had I known it was going to be like this I would have tried to keep my sanity intact and just played normals...
Saianna (EUNE)
: You must have had very huge lucky streak before. Matchmaker just HAS TO have some kind of mechanism, where it first puts you with players with your skill +/-. And once you get those few kills matchmaker goes 'GASP GOTTA BALANCE THIS, BRONZE 6 TEAM THERE U GO" and then you get shit like support Yi or ADC Bard. I have overall 9k games in LoL and I am 99,9% certain.
Not really, though? The maximum amount of games I've won in a row are around five. Seems kind of bullshit that the system goes "Oh, you've won too much. Time to lose!" but I never seem to go insane amounts of wins in a row where I can climb an entire division. Being demoted an entire division? Riot thinks that's okay! I reach a point where I can't afford to lose or I get demoted but that doesn't stop Riot from letting people pick whatever they want during champion select. Seriously --- there should be a way to majority vote and kick a player out of the queue if we believe they are trolling...but oh well, guess that's not one of Riot's priorities.
: I had a 14 ranked loss streak a months ago... shit happens but sooner or later your MMR will drop enough to play vs worse player for easier wins :)
I've been told to just stop playing Ranked for the day if I lose 2-3 games in a row. Sounds about right because this is ridiculous and being on tilt isn't fun...I have Silver MMR because I fucked up and decided to be: "Hey, let's see how far I can go in placements!" two days before the season ended.
: :)).talks the guy who can;t break 100 cs in 30 min.:))))
Most of the time I'm not farming because I'm trying to help the team. Roaming makes me lose CS but I often get kills out of doing that. Either way, that's not the cause of my losses, lmao.

And just my luck that the streak was of losses and not wins. FML.
: shit happens.. usually when i see this kinda stuff i dodge and take a 5 lp loss rather than a 13 lp loss.. sitn much else to be done other than picking a team of your own
Eight games like this? Someone either feeds or trolls. Am I just unlucky or what? I don't have a powerful premade to play with but this shouldn't be so ridiculous like this...

: I haven't touched ranked, but every streamer I watch says you ignore your team and only focus on yourself to climb out of bronze/silver/gold. Pick a freelo champion and get out of gold, then focus on teamwork and playing your favorite champion. I'm not saying that's good advice, but judging from those streaming numbers, I'm also not the only person that might be listening to that advice.
You **should** listen to your team, though. You shouldn't pick a champion just because they are strong and has a high win-rate if you don't know what you're doing with them. Even if you do, the chances of you carrying are minimal if other lanes are doing poorly because you can't 1v5, win and just push by yourself, tha doesn't happen. People see that you are strong and they will focus you, it's how the game works. You can do your best and it's still not enough because others didn't do their best or they didn't do enough to win. Especially with Dynamic Queue were you end up with or against premades and you can't possibly know what they are thinking, how they play like, if they are communicating outside the game, etc. You should play what you're good at but you should also play the champions that fit best with the team you have so you can win teamfights, take some pressure off of their shoulders and work together.

What could YOU have done better to help your team more, what mistakes did YOU make that you could have avoided. Think of it this way, if you were Bjerg, would you have lost that game? Once you focus on self-improvement and not blaming your teammates for the elo you're in, you will begin to climb. Bjerg might not have lost THAT game.. but I have seen Bjerg go 14-2 and lose.. So yea.. sometimes even HE cant carry
I really hate that mentality that "Oh, if you were good then you would have carried." because it's such a poor arguement when you take into consideration this is a game that focuses on team decisions (to some extent). If other people aren't doing decently enough, it's almost impossible for you to carry even if you are fed. You see this on your side, you see this on the enemy's side. One person isn't going to carry four others, it's just not going to happen...especially when they **DON'T** listen.

That's the easiest thing to say whenever someone loses a game, isn't it? I did more than enough but no, it's not possible to carry a game unless most people are working together and doing decently. I won laning phase, I helped other lanes, I put as much pressure as possible but during team-fights, he would die way too quickly and I would be left alone to tank and it's just impossible to do so because I can't peel and go into the back-line at the same time. It's always easy to copy/paste this mentality around the boards, isn't it? But the truth is, this is a team game and others are to blame (at times). When someone is doing bad, it's frustrating for others. Jungler, support and ADC were doing fine but even when I tried to peel for them, it wasn't enough because we NEEDED another tank and Cho'Gath WASN'T listening to our neeeds.

: While the log-in queue is going, tell me your thoughts on your favorite champion!
Sounds cute and I do like to ramble :) {{champion:202}} I have a lot of favorite champions but I've been playing Jhin a lot lately and I really adore everything about him. His design looks really good, his voice and quotes match the character so well and he's so much fun to play with. Even if he's behind, he still feels somewhat powerful and there's something special about using that ultimate. {{champion:115}} Another champion that I love is Ziggs. I love poking from a distance and still doing a lot of damage, I love how he's a bit nuts and have small spasms when he stands IDLE, I love sending my ultimate from one lane to another to either kill a low health champion or to push a wave without much effort. I almost didn't play him because I had 6300 IP and I turned to my father, pointing at Fizz and then Ziggs and asked: "Which one do you like the most?", he picked Ziggs and well...I love that yordle. I also love: {{champion:122}} {{champion:245}} {{champion:59}} {{champion:89}} {{champion:82}} {{champion:48}} {{champion:112}} ...but that's even a longer story! How about you? What are some of your favorite champions?

I don't want to blame others but it's a team game and if the rest of the team isn't doing what's necessary for the game to be won, it's virtually impossible for us to win. Most of the time, people are incredibly stubborn and refuse to build what's necessary versus the people they are up against or make other mistakes. > > I guess I should play more solo queue and see where it takes me. Problem is, with the way dynamic queue works, it's hard to know if I'm with premades, if I'm against premades or whatever's happening. I hope they bring back pure solo queue just to see how well I can do when both teams seem to be at the same advantage (not having premades). The thing is, if you're playing at above the skill level of your games, you are better than the 9 other players in the game, which means the other team has 5 "bad" players and yours only has 4. If you're in a game where you feel like you're dragging your team around, just make sure to ping your intended engages, ping objectives when they're safe, and if your team is behind their lane *don't* yell at them. Ask them to back off the enemy lane a bit and you can gank them, or wait until their turret drops and their lane starts roaming, tell them to farm, ward up, and ping their lane when they roam to pick up a free kill. It really becomes about coaching your team at some levels of play.
A lot of people will not listen, though. Often in champion select I will suggest good combinations and people will ignore me, if we need a tank or someone with CC, they will ignore me. If I tell them to defend, they force fights. It's stuff like this that demotivates me because I try to force people to be careful but they believe that what they are doing is the correct thing. Just the other day, mid lane kept dying over and over after me and my friend told him to play defensively and farm under tower --- he just kept pushing the wave and dying. We did win the game but it would have been much easier if our mid lane had payed attention; he didn't contribute much to the game and blamed the jungler for trying to keep the other lanes secure (the one's who actually listened and didn't feed). These things I can't control because I can't force them to do anything if they blatantly ignore me.

: So couple things. First you should really try to completely forget about the ranked ladder. Especially in its current state it in no way represents your skill as an individual player. In truth the season 6 ladder just shows you who group queues and who doesn't. Sure group queuing does not directly increase your chances of winning, but it does help. You might be on some form of voice chat with someone, but much more importantly... it reduces the likelihood of you having a baddie on your team. Someone who trolls or goes AFK. Ranked league absolutely sucks for the first 2-3 months when a new season starts because all the good players never got thrown down into low silver and bronze, and they typically have at least a duo queue partner for the most part. Everyone else is thrown down the hole. So you have all the really terribles, the people who play with 800 ping, the trolls, and the AFK's all starting at around Bronze 2-5 for the most part. It takes a long time for these players to get back into Bronze 5 where they belong. Which means between now and then for the other 50% of league players we have to deal with an unusual high percentage of these players in our games. Depending on your luck this is a boost for you, for others it is a huge burden. All I can say is to just keep playing. MMR is terrible by design. Ranked ladder is terrible by design... Both do not represent your skill at all. Just your Win/Loss which again as you are only responsible for 20%. I only have a couple suggestions. First try to learn and play a hyper carry like Yi or Jax who has the potentially to greatly influence the outcome of games. Outside of that my only other suggestion is to find someone to play with who is close to your rank. Worst case you eliminated the odds of you having an AFK or troll on your team... unless that person is the culprit in which case you can find someone else.
That's something I've seen a lot around the Boards. People saying they want Solo Queue back because the Dynamic Queue puts them against premades and the evident lack of communication on their side is an advantage for the enemy team. I have a few people on my friend's list who I play with, most of them low Silver (V, IV) and it's mostly because of that, for me to feel a bit more secure since I know they won't leave and they are somewhat decent at what they do. It doesn't mean I'm going to win more, I've certainly had a fair share of losses thanks to duos + trios. Hmhm, I think I agree with you. I have people who have won less than half their placement matches and were put in a rank that is the same or slightly higher than me...which proves to me that there are a lot of mediocre (or even bad) players that in the same rank as me, which is unfair but I guess if they keep playing and performing like this, they will be knocked down. This game is about skill but it's also a lot about luck and I guess I've been unlucky for the most part, ahah! Yes, I will try to see how I can solve this. I don't exactly play jungle and Jax is almost always banned but I believe that the champions that I pick are good enough in a team that knows what they are doing. Most of my champions are tanky and have an engage somehow (top lane) or they have a lot of burst and AOE (mid lane). Thanks for your feedback and hopefully I can climb better soon enough.
: Carry, carry, carry. Use cheese tactics or better yet, cheese _champions_. I am fond of {{champion:31}}, {{champion:102}} , anyone that can really carry after earning 5k-6k gold. It's frustrating, because I'm in the same boat, but that's what has been working for me. I pulled out a 4v5 a few days ago with Cho'gath top. Utilize all knowledge you have of the game and apply it to your circumstances; anything is possible.
That reminds me that I should take up Cho'Gath since he is an AP top laner and all of my top lane champions are basically AD and none are pure tanks. I usually play Pantheon, Trundle, Garen, Darius and I have been playing Jarvann IV lately too. What's interesting is, I seem to do better lately whenever I go into mid lane --- I take Ekko which has a lot of potential and damage and I enjoy Ziggs because he pushes from a distance and even with a bit of cooldown, spamming Q during a fight does a lot of damage in very short periods of time. I guess it's a matter of improving myself and hoping my efforts pay off.
: If you're getting games that are too hard for you to make a meaningful difference in, it means that game is above your current elo and you should lose. If you think your mmr is wrong, solo queue for about 40 games and it'll be where it belongs, even if it's lower than you'd like it to be. Practice up, ward well, pay attention to objectives.
I don't feel like the games are hard. It's more of --- when I am holding my lane, someone else seems to be losing and it's a meaningful impact in the late game because even if I play someone who is tanky and can engage, they can't seem to follow up and win teamfights. I don't want to blame others but it's a team game and if the rest of the team isn't doing what's necessary for the game to be won, it's virtually impossible for us to win.
