: Annie Bot is actually an experiment gone wrong from Riot's original attempt at developing advanced bots. They used a machine learning algorithm so they could learn to play like real humans, but the computer became too intelligent and ended up discovering the human players actually play in ranked and if they are good they even stream, so Annie Bot began doing that and Riot lost control over the code.
> Sorry did you say they "lost control" over their own code. I dont see how professional businesses could truly lose any control over their own code. AI's cant really outsmart people 100% I bet you're a blast at parties.

> ive had 8 people on my block list ive played with only one was being a one time jerk the other 7 a month latter where still trash still costing others ranked games still refusing to believe they where bad I see exactly the type of player you are. You ever stop to consider you're the same rank as those "trash" and "bad" players? And please don't come back with the "elo hell" excuse. You're one of those guys that can't acknowledge your mistakes, and is quick to flame others. What the other guy was talking about is someone intentionally griefing. What you're talking about is someone the same skill level as you making mistakes and you flaming them. If someone is griefing or in some way abusing other players, they need to be reported and dealt with. If someone is playing badly or making mistakes, they need to be helped. If you know a better way than them, maybe politely suggest alternatives. Your anger doesn't make anyone play better.

Every player behavior system is backed by the Report System which analyzes reports. If a player false reports often, their reports have 0 value. If a player reports accurately, their reports actually get more powerful. Isn't that not a good thing though. Let's say someone inaccurately reports someone based off something very intangible, for ex: intentionally feeding(I would imagine a VERY difficult thing to gauge) this would in an essence give him zero value reports based on whatever he reports. So if he happens to wander into a game, and someone verbally abuses him and calls him (insert racist, belligerent insults here) he all of a sudden cannot have any justice? That's not right, the system should still take it into consideration but not give the player the benefit of the doubt for the subjective reports(via unskilled, intentionally feeding, assisting enemy team, negative attitude, (refusing to communicate, someone can ping where they are going but if they are afk pushing top lane it's nearly impossible to get the whole team to follow them)) I believe there would be a mistrial in justice if ANY report has ZERO value in terms of verbal harassment(which is usually very clear cut). Today I have someone say "Suck a C+++ you N++++R B+++H" in pre game after this system released, I reported him and nothing happened. I would hope it's not because I reported a bunch of people for afk farming top lane and refusing to group so my report of a seriously disturbed and toxic individual has zero value.. Thank you for your time and reply
My suggestion to you would be to take a lesson from the boy who cried wolf. How do you know that the person you reported for "refusing to group" or "AFK farming top" isn't just bad at the game? That's not a bannable offense, and reporting those people for anything other than unskilled is indeed a false report, and should make the value of your reports go down. Give accurate reports, and your reports will be valued. Give inaccurate reports, and your reports will become ignored. I agree that the person that said those things needs to be harshly dealt with, but you can't expect the system to take you seriously when you report everyone for everything and 99% of the time it turns out to be nothing.
: No, the overwhelming majority of League players are between 16 and 30 http://www.visualnews.com/2012/10/16/league-of-legends-by-the-numbers/ And unless you're implying being American somehow skews age distribution, we can assume that the data are roughly normal like the russian data: http://www.slideshare.net/danushkin/league-of-legends-marketing-strategy-for-russia So using the worldwide data, while the average Russian player is older than the average worldwide player, the average worldwide player is (30+16)/2=23. 23 Is old enough to have a job or have a masters degree.
Might need some {{item:2003}} for that {{summoner:14}}

: You should never have a system that permabans someone for ONE game, EVER. Not even if it's "rare", it should just be a "doesn't happen" thing. And why permabans and not just permanent chat bans? Is completely disabling someone's ability to chat not good enough? Your system is making me want to never use chat again because I threaten people who anger me.
> Your system is making me want to never use chat again because I threaten people who anger me. You're a perfect example of the people this new system is targeting. Maybe you should consider not threatening people. If you get a permaban for doing it you don't have my, nor the vast majority of the community's sympathy. > And why permabans and not just permanent chat bans? Is completely disabling someone's ability to chat not good enough? Furthermore, if you feel that a chat ban would curb YOUR toxic behavior, maybe you should impose one on yourself and not use the chat to threaten people.
: i do it marks you as toxic and the moment it marks you as toxic nothing you do matters youll never be "postive" agian. i had a zed following me purposely stealing any kill or cs i had in front of me. i should be able to tell that little prick fuck you stop stealing everything. its poor sporting and as lyte sees it. that zed doesnt matter. wasnt even flagged by the system. why? he didnt talk. he would jsut follow and steal with the intent to harass another player and yet. is not toxic cause did not talk.
I agree that people like that need to be dealt with. He knew the system and knew what he could do to be an ass without being detected by the system. I feel that there needs to be something in place to deal with players that do things like that. I was very active in the tribunal while it was active, and it angered me when I saw situations like that in which I had to vote a certain way because there was really no evidence for me to go on. That being said, there is never a good reason to flame and be an ass in response. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Just try to stay positive, mute the toxic players, report them at the end, and hope for the best. If the person is truly a problem player, their behavior will be noticed, and they will be dealt with.
: your standards are not everyone else's, sorry it's their free game, and they have a reputation for one of the most toxic playerbases (whether or not it's true notwithstanding). reform is not just smart on their part, it's proactive and a great way to show that they're involved with the culture and the playerbase, not just the game all that said, insulting is never necessary or helpful ever
Logged in just to upvote. Amen. If it's so bad that you feel yourself about to flame, just mute the team and rage to yourself. Furthermore, with a truly inferior game about to hit the market that just so happens to be produced by the juggernaut of the online gaming industry and already blowing up the airwaves with advertisement, Riot really needs to step up their game or risk losing the #1 spot to this joke of a MOBA. I think this is a step in the right direction. Kudos for tackling your problems RITO.

No. It shows even if you don't have vision in the bush. It's a bug from targeting off of the playable area. Please don't come to the bug thread claiming a bug is game mechanics. It needs to be fixed.
: Panth ult not visible in bushes
Just checked SR and it's there too. Ult offscreen into the side lane bushes on the corners and it bugs. Checked old threads and apparently it's been around for a while. Might want to look into it because it is pretty exploitable.
